Yay~ Very nice changes.
Very awesome!
I find it very odd how so many people are complaining about zerker builds.
It doesn’t affect anybody in PvE. How would it affect you if somebody in your group prefers to be full zerker? If one doesn’t like zerker, then don’t be zerker.
I personally don’t like playing condition damage, but I’m not going to go on the forums to say to nerf condition damage builds. If people want to play a certain build that’s their choice not mine.
It just seems extremely self-centered to me.
This happened to our group last night on 38 as well. We killed the Berserker 2nd. (Have a recording of it if needed)
Fairy armor with butterfly wings and a flower crown.
Also, a suggestion for a focus skin (sorry I realize this is an armor thread) would be a plush handbag with a picture of a cat (like a hello kitty handbag). I think that would be pretty cute.
Imo all classes are just as good. There’s no such thing as a useless class. The class is as good as the player playing it.
Also, rangers are VERY useful in group play. =)
Awesome Looking forward to the new sounds for greatsword.
/wave at the cute slime I saw at the north ruins
I must say I agree with you.
The map change is nice but the Bloodlust Buff just makes for an unfair advantage and is just not good for pvp. (Yes, wvw is pvp)
The upcoming league system is already destroying server populations and imo will have a very negative effect on the community. Please please reconsider it to something else.
How to fix Bloodlust: take it away.
Done.
That only works if you go back to the old maps. People need a strong incentive to cap the middle points.
A nice incentive would probably be some dragonite ore or something per capture of three points. This way the people that stay in the middle are still rewarded somewhat.
No to stat bonuses.
- Auto-looting (not having to press a button for looting)
- Removal of in-combat movement speed
- Private commander tags added OR party tags added (can put an icon on a specific group member)
- Removal of waypoints (already being implemented??)
- Reduce siege damage against players
AZRG…I don’t ever want to see you again. Like…ever.
Wow. I hope you choke on all of the loot bags you got from us.
Man, that was a lot of fun last night!
Oh wow, I didn’t even know AZRG was a DB guild.
Now I’m curious what you guys didThey fought us for about 45 minutes in the north camp of FABL. Back and forth, got the best of us 99% of the time I would say. It was close to even numbers from a guild vs guild standpoint (we had 7) but we had some non guildies try to help us as well so really our numbers were more. It was by far some of the best small group fighting I have been a part of, even though I was on the losing end.
Near the end of the fight one of my guys said “Yup, we’re gonna be on YouTube tomorrow”. We were on the wrong end of a highlight reel.
Thanks for the very long, challenging and fun fight. /salute to you and your guild
Fairy wings, angel wings, fairy flower crowns (not as townclothing).
Also, not sure if it’s possible because of how small the models are but female versions for the asuran armor would be cool.
Sorry to the cute Ehmry Bay asura wearing the plush griffon costume. We were chatting on vent with somebody and didn’t realize you were in the costume waving until it was too late… =(
Really loving the game since they fixed culling.
However, I do have a wish list:
- Make wvw badges and fractal relics a currency so they don’t take up so much space in your bank
- Ability to see multiple guild chat
- Auto-loot in wvw
-Build/Gear Templates (Like in gw1) and free respecs
- Ability to store gear in an armor “bag” (separate from your normal bags that show up when you sell things to the vendor. I know there are invisible bags, but when you switch weapons etc. one of the weapons will go into your main backpack if you’re using two weapons and switch to a two-handed)
Will there be any plans in the future for smaller scale guild events (ie for a 5 man)?
I haven’t noticed an increase either so far.
Just wanted to say thanks to the dev team for making such a cute skin. =)
A cute environment with flowers, rainbows, unicorns, big presents etc. Lots of happy things.
I agree. It’s MUCH worse now. Can’t even tell how many people are there. None of them load until way too late.
Or please consider even making them currency instead…like how laurels are now.
If there any any plans to add new emotes sometime in the future, please consider adding the GW1 Male Mesmer dance to them.
The best dance ever.
It’s because people spend lots of their time/money on their characters and get attached to them.
Say you bought a car and loved it, then one day the car manufacturer says your car is too good according to a few people posting on the forums so we’re going to remove a part of the engine so it doesn’t run as good to make other people that don’t drive your type of car happy.
I’ve been harvesting passion flowers for a while now (for the daily) and haven’t had one passion flower drop.
Hopefully just bugged because it seems just a bit too rare for a level 65 crafting item.
Say hello to my engineer, Sorbet:
That is an awesome pic! =)
I agree. Magic find is not a stat that benefits group play.
Perhaps they can implement something like this to avoid pug disasters:
Everyone gets the same AR as the person with the highest AR in the group.
this is a good idea.
i also propose that everyone gets the same MF as the person with the highest MF in the group so at least that guy will have something contribute to the party other than his constant deaths.
Haha, yeah that would be great.
it is. it will make new “gear” roles. one guy takes care of the AR. one guy takes care of the MF. and the three other guys can wear their maxed DPS/Support gear without ascended items (for now since we got limited build stats at the moment) gimping their build.
And then since the entire group now has perfect stats, then can now go afk and get free rewards at the end.

There is no reason for a level 1 to join a level 30 group. He will be rewarded as a level 1 even though he has just done a level 30. Why would anyone do that? Does that in any way seem to you like typical MMO behaviour?
As unfortunate as it is…yes it does seem like typical MMO behavior. The reason is “because he can”.
Honestly…remembering AION, where parties for end-game dungeons would only let you join, if you already had the full set from that very end-game dungeon, I am VERY glad they don’t allow to show fractal levels or gear. How are you ever supposed to get geared or level your fractals, if nobody takes you into their group, unless you’re already at the top?!
Seriously…if you are so concerned about your group members, group with guild people only and be elitist there. If you PuG, expect some newer players to be in your party, take a breath to explain difficult fights and strategies – that really only takes a sentence or two in party chat. Once everyone knows, what to do an when, even new players can be a nice addition to any team. If you don’t want the risk, don’t PuG. Simple.
It’s not a matter of being elitist or not. I think the other members of the group have the right to know if they’re gonna be carrying a full MF gear person or somebody with no AR in higher levels. It’s just common courtesy.
If somebody is wanting to be carried, the other people should know what they’re up for is what I’m saying. (…which is probably going to be leaving that person dead or rezzing them every say 20 seconds during a boss fight)
I’m not saying I’d kick somebody for not having any AR because it’s not their fault for not having any, but I’d atleast like to know who does and who doesn’t.
However, I’d especially like to know if somebody is wearing full MF gear because yes, I would kick them and you and I know there’s gonna be quite a bit of people that will be doing this after this new feature.
And yes, more people will not PUG because of this and you think that’s a good thing?
It’s a great feature because now we can help our friends get levels but I agree how this could become a problem when forming pug groups.
It would probably be a good idea add in a feature to be able to inspect people’s gear or show how much AR they have.
Personally, I don’t think this is elitism. I think people should know if they’re going to do a level 30+, for example, with somebody with no AR or somebody wearing full MF gear. It would become obvious during the first boss fight, but then that’s wasting the other 4 players time up until the fight.
I think it would cause more elitism because then people would now only form groups with people they know and not risk pugging it.
Did 26, 28 and 30 dailies the past few days and NO ring dropped. The drops for the chests were mediocre as well…mostly blues and greens (although didn’t even get to loot the 30 chest so can’t say for the 30 chest).
So I’d say the rewards seem to stay the same as the lower levels as you progress to the higher levels. (Similar to AION where most of the time nothing drops)

Some more cute pics taken today.

The outfit is adorable. Love it!
Very nice they added this with being able to buy rings with tokens now.
The previous version was much better. I had no problems before. With this new culling trial, I can’t see where enemies are coming from. They look like 10+ but 10 seconds later, we find out they have 30+.
Was hoping gw2 would also be a game about skill, not about getting OP gear like that other MMO with pandas.
The new stuff isn’t in the game yet so it’s hard to say yet, but imo it doesn’t seem right to contradict the manifesto that attracted many players to this game.
This match-up has been really fun. Fun fights! =)
A bit disappointed to hear this. Doesn’t match the philosophy of Guild Wars.
It’s so much more fun. Having a great time now. =)
Awesome =)
Very glad to hear this.
I’m really happy that there is no gear treadmill. Burnt out on that a long time ago.
I like the philosophy of not having a gear advantage in pvp. It promotes learning to play well as a group instead of relying on OP gear stats.
For server transfers, something like this might work:
You can put in a transfer request, but you can only physically transfer after the match is over.
Imo, it’s not so much the score that preventing people from coming out. It’s the 3 orb stat bonus the winning server usually has.
