I always seem to forget how obnoxious TC’s forum presence gets when they’re winning handily.

Find it funny that people forget the TC forum warriors came to us saying we wouldn’t win T2 cause we were trash…. Same individuals whined on the forums that our forum warriors were being mean. Big wheel of garbage if you ask me but whatever

I still remember. Though, if I had to say who did PvF more, it was definitely DB. I remember a slew of [RE]/[CO] and a few [EA] members talking tons of crap when we were down, too. Well, until that morning we stomped the scoreboard. But before that it was nothing but ’’it’s been fun here gais but T1 looks nice" and “free bags on our way to T1” along with “enjoy another loss this week”. Still, our two weeks of being stomped was well deserved, because of the morons who went into your other matchup thread and talked.

Basically, both servers have keyboard cowboys, and while one of us is winning, the other is sulking, and vice versa. Same goes for population. When we win, they come out, when we are losing, they aren’t anywhere to be seen. :/

I do believe our servers have a fair bit of the same problems.

I want names and address of all those [EA], they will rue the day they spew such slander on these here forums

One I remember off the bat was Lani. A few posts here and there were pretty bad. But I feel that was because of the smack talkers who came into the prior match thread, as well. A few dweebos on our server weren’t helping either. I don’t always see eye to eye with her, but yeah. Most of my example phrases were from RE and CO.

Even I sometimes get annoyed at those posts that go like, ’’hey X, your hills is mighty fine in [color]!" and the like.

To handle Lani all you need to do is roll up any magazine (newspaper for substitution) and just give her a good smack on the nose and she will behave

Might I recommend Fort-Aspenwood?

Our North American presence is well established, and we have at least 1 60 man zerg moving across borderlands the entire day. Our oceanics however, are quite hit or miss because some nights it’s uA’s guild missions and sometimes AVTR takes a night off. However, with the leader of our largest oceanic guild by far coming back from a 2 month hiatus, our oceanic presence does outmatch Sea of Sorrow’s by a large mile. When the matchups were TC/DB/FA, our oceanic was by far our most consistent timezone.

Our SEA is indeed one of our weaker timeslots, but not by alot. With DPS coming in a few months back, our SEA presence has increased phenomenally and we can hold our own during SEA primetime against the likes of DB, provided we have another server with similar SEA coverage to us (ex. TC). Our SEA community is still growing, with militia commanders stepping up so DPS doesn’t need to turtle our BL so much anymore.

Admittedly, I don’t think we actually have 1 fully fledged european guild, but with school out, we have a commander from [RET] running WxP trains all day covering for our European presence. However, since any other server that’s not TC or T1 doesn’t have much of an European presence anyway, this isn’t a problem.

Lastly, we queue 2 maps on average (EB + a BL) and maybe 3 on good nights. We always have 1 empty borderland that needs an organized force on it. We also have a community Ts3. Hope you choose Fort Aspenwood as your new home, we could really use you when we get into tough matches later on.

Edit : If Fort Aspenwood is not your target destination, may I recommend SoS, JQ or TC? Honestly, I would say DB, but a lot of their “old guard” has left because of newer transfers and they may implode like what happened to kaineng

As part of the “old guard” you speak of on Dragonbrand, I can tell you that we have not left. We continue to hold loyal to our server. Our new transfers took some time to settle but they have been absorbed into the Dragonbrand Community. We are stronger together. Dragonbrand will not be imploding anytime soon.

The rumours are true though, Dragonbrand has a large sea presence that is hard for many server to combat with the exception of the T1 servers.

I will not tell this guild to come to Dragonbrand but if you are considering it please feel free to contact some server reps. Please contact me if you are interested in speaking to Dragonbrand. I’ll direct you to the appropriate people rather than trolls on the forums. ;D

Props to both servers for dealing with our push tonight during NA prime. We know we are bigger than you and do not belong with you. I for one would rather be back in with T1’s servers but we have little choice in what match up we end up in.

Why we lose everything in Eternal? Also why doesn’t DB push FA when FA owns 2/3 of Eternal including Stonemist. Does DB have a pact with FA? At Reset we were getting stomped on and we had a que in EB. Also noticed DB seemed to get wiped as well since every time we saw orange swords on FA side nothing was flipped except camps.

FA seemed to hold their side of the map while we were pushing them along with DB. They however fell apart 9 hours later after reset and were left with their keep and a few towers.

Doesnt DB have like a huge Sea Oceanic presence and during their prime they lost stonemist, and FA had higher PPT than they did.

Did we just forget eternal or something, we were outmanned all night.

I just think SBI needs to push a bit more. There are definitely times when you guys outnumber DB.

Hearing talk about numbers makes me shake my head.

It’s not anyone’s numbers in particular it’s all our numbers combined. In this matchup DB and Mag have lots of people, SBI can field decent numbers in NA primetime. The game doesn’t work when this many people get in one place to fight. We were in SM last night and after about 10 mins we just left because nothing was working.

We also got skill lagged a few times in open field fighting, it’s just silly with this many people playing.

If you think that’s lag you should see when three servers who have fully qued map duking it out in one spot.

I feel rather bad for this match up and it isn’t even NNK o’clock yet. We don’t belong with you guys at all. We’re too big. The worst part is our fairweathers will be out in force, then go back into hiding when we get a match up we belong in.

I would ignore anyone who makes assumptions about DB who is not on DB.

I can tell you that being on DB since I started this game that our WvW community is strong and resilient. Those who have been here forever know what I am talking about. We have been through a meat grinder and back again. The natives here are loyal this includes guilds like NNK, TFV, and EA. We were offered everything to move to other servers but we will never go. We are the same guilds you fought on Darkhaven, remember us? Many of the guilds who joined on our slow rise in the tier are still with us like TG and BP. The newer guilds like Agg, RE, rB, and CO joined us because they saw more potential in our server as we were headed to T2. Many of these guilds joined us because they wanted something new, a place to start fresh. In T2 without those guilds we would have been slaughtered only to bounce back and forth. With their joining DB brought about very stable T2. We have never had any drama between any guilds with no alliances. There is no shift work here, there are just guilds and people working together to enjoy the game. Everyone on our server is free to do as they please. If you enjoyed T2 the last time you were here, come back. I’m not saying join DB ... choose what is best for your guild but do not base it on these forums and the trolls. ;D

If you are wondering about queues, during reset onwards three maps are fully queued for an extended period of time usually about 15-30mins while there is alwAys one map with no queue or a very short queue. Afterwards on weekends during NA prime only two maps are queued. During weekdays generally only one map is queued sometimes two. More maps can be queued depending on different guild raid night.

Still something majorly wrong with siege caps. Seems much lower than it normally is.
