(…) What genius came up with that idea?
This is all about numbers. You still sell more keys and you give others an incentive to exchange gems to gold. It will only change once the majority resists buying keys. But that’s like saying “hey everyone, don’t buy gas today!”.
I’m not trying to be negative, but “double of nothing” was my first thought, I almost chuckled.
Oh I know they expect to sell more keys, but who even tries to buy keys for a 5 key cost item? Seems beyond insane to even try unless you have hundreds of dollars or thousands of ingame gold laying around unused.
The “double of nothing” is hilarious.
If you want the black lion weapons, buying keys in hopes to get lucky is still the most expensive way to do it. The drop rate of scraps and tickets from black lion chests is still so bad that it is much too expensive to buy keys. I still refuse to buy keys as I hate spending money on random items.
Plus, 5-7 tickets for old skins… really? That’s like 300 dollars worth of keys. What genius came up with that idea?
Does that show ever actually get funny?
No, it really doesn’t. When I first heard about the show I really hoped it would be funny. People told me it was funny, but I did not find the show amusing even. I was hoping for a geeky comedy but it all felt like geek “humor” written by non-geeks writing what they thought was geek humor.
1. Kill off both humans
2. Replace them with Tybalt.
3. ???
4. Profit
1) Hylek
2) Skritt
3) Quaggan
The sooner they get rid of or give an option to remove hobosacks and let us use normal back pieces the happier I will be.
I am honestly tired of how the black lion weapons are handled. I would never buy black lion keys cause of all the chests I have opened with free keys I have never seen even a weapon ticket fragment drop. Keys are such a huge waste of money that it boggles my mind that anyone even buys them.
When will ANet move away from black lion ticket weapons and just sell us the weapon skins for 500-800 gems each in the Gem store? I might actually start purchasing them instead of just thinking “oh look, more weapon skins locked forever behind RNG”. And no, I am not going to waste $25+ dollars or more on keys just to get one weapon skin (even it would even turn out to be that cheap).
I would love to be able to play skritt. Second favorite race only beaten by Hylek.
Hylek and Skritt
Welcome to GW2! Don’t worry about doing every daily quest. Just enjoy your time here.
The prices rising to multiple tickets is dumb. Collecting 10 scraps is far too expensive as it is. The cost to get one of the weapon skins is insanely steep even when it only cost one golden ticket. Would be nice if weapon skins all cost one golden ticket and you could buy a golden ticket for 8-10 dollars. I might actually spend money on weapon skins then. I refuse to spend money on random scraps and end up spending 50 dollars for one dumb skin.
I like the other zones in GW2 more then Orr. I mean seriously, zombies zombies zombies. Feels like every game has zombies now. And Orr is all browns, dead stuff, the color brown, and more zombies. I don’t mind the zone being in the game, just feels like the least interesting place to walk around.
Generally the conversation goes like this:
Friend: “What have they added since I left in May?”
Me: “Well, nothing that you can do.”
Friend: “What do you mean?”
Me: “Well, they added this, this, and this but they took it out of the game 2 weeks later. It’s part of their living story.”
Friend: “Seriously?”
Me: “Yeah”
Friend: “That’s the stupidest kitten thing I’ve ever heard!”
Me: “Yeah, I know.”
I wish I could upvote this to infinity.
I couldn’t agree with point 3,4,5 and 7 more. I think those are exactly what frustrates me most about this game.
Make Super Adventure Box permanent!

I would love to be able to explore the dungeon on my own time. It would be a great addition to the game if they made it permanent. Sadly, they will probably insist they have to remove it for one dumb reason or another.
My total time for all my characters is about a third of your hours and I have six level 80 characters. My warrior has 266 hours. And I thought I spent too much time on Guild Wars 2. I think you might need to cut back a bit on your time in GW2.
I think the main problem is they keep taking away content, why not keep the content they added, I hate this, give content then take it away bs, is there anything ever permanent added to the game?
I’m with this guy. The problem is content is taken away. It feels like I have to force myself to do it the second content appear cause I will not get a chance to do it when I feel like it. Instead of being able to say “hey, I feel like pvping all day today”, I am forced to run the dungeon/event/quest of the week first. Sometimes I finish it early on, then i ignore it for the rest of the 2 weeks due to being annoyed for feeling like I had to do it when I felt like WvW or boss hunting. I miss back when this game first began and it felt like I had time to explore and “stop to smell the roses”. I play things in spurts and then switch back to another thing. For instance, I would like to do southsun run activity when its up, but I always feel too “busy” to spend my game time doing what I feel like doing. I don’t see why content (like SAB for example) must be brought out, hyped to death, and then sealed tightly away in a box for months. Missed getting the SAB skins? Too bad! They are gone (I got them all last time, this is just an example). You must rush, rush, rush. How dare you get to choose how you want to spend your time.
On one hand, I guess if stuff stayed around, they might have to deal with complaints with people saying they are now bored of said content, but then, why are current dungeons not taken out? Why can’t players decide what content they want to spend their time on and get bored of doing (if they get bored of it at all)?
Will SAB actually stay in the game this time?

I hope it stays this time. It is way kitten ring then most of the dungeons in this game and those get to always stay.
SAB really should not be temporary. It is too much fun. I played it hundreds of times last time and can not wait to see it again. Would be nice to have to be a dungeon of sorts.
I hope we do see old skins back. I got them all the first time, would be nice for others to get them who just joined game.
They better bring Tybalt back, he is the only npc I actually care about in this game.
Hylek. I have been wanting to play one since the game opened.
I voted about 200-250 times (estimated).
- A nameplate icon similar to Elemental Attunements would be a good addition (I may add this regardless if we can get the art )
I support this idea. I would much rather have the icons and be able to keep my normal back piece on at all times instead of having the hobo sacks.
If there is a Guild Wars movie, it better not be directed by Uwe Boll. He has no idea how to make a movie.
I want to play my engineer, I really do. But two things take so much of the fun out of it and leave it as such a frustrating experience.
1. The dumb kit sacks we are forced to wear with our kits. No one likes them. I know not one engineer who thinks they looks good. Can we PLEASE get rid of them? Or at least give us an option to use our back piece instead of the dumb kit sack. My elementalist does not have to wear a dumb sack when I use elemental weapons, so why should engineers?
2. The grenades. I love throwing grenades, its my favorite kit. But my left button on my mice cry every time I use them. Why can’t the land version of grenades be the same as the underwater version? I used to tell myself this way is better since I can manually aim the grenades, but its not. It is nearly impossible to dodge and roll around and manually aim each “1” grenade. I don’t mind having to click for the “2” through “5” grenades. But the “1” grenades should auto aim and fire like normal long range weapons. Why can’t they do this? The underwater version of grenades does this and isn’t horribly annoying like land grenades.
The second reason annoys me more then the first, but the combined reasons keep me from touching my engineer unless I want CoF tokens and I already ran it on my other level 80 characters.

After double tapping off cliffs, I turned it off. I only use “v” now.
Can we please just have the option to turn off the stupid sacks or get rid of them entirely? They serve no purpose and look ugly.
Why do all armors look almost the exact same on asura? I love asura, but our armors look all the boring same. Maybe its just the light armors, I don’t know. I wish it would actually look like I’m wearing a new armor. The only good looking armor seems to be the cultural armor and that is super expensive.
People really need to stop buying black lion keys. Maybe then we will get to just buy the weapons instead.
My biggest problem with the celestial gear is eventually the recipes will be gone and new people who want it will not be able to get it due to the gear being account bound when crafted. They need to make another way to keep getting recipes for gear like celestial and sentinel which drop for a limited time or just release those recipes to an npc eventually.
And please make the celestial armor sellable instead of account bound after crafting, the account bound thing is stupid.
I am not sure if this is the right place or not. But I was looking to get the original GW1 to get 30 achievement points for the HOM items in GW2. What is the cheapest combo of expansions that I can easily achieve this (do I need all the expansions)? Where would I buy them too? I saw them for sale in the NCSoft store, but cheapest combo of the games is 50 dollars for Prophecies, Eye of the North, Nightfall, and Factions. I was expecting it to be more like 30-40 dollars for all four campaigns. Do they ever go on sale somewhere like the NCSoft store, steam, or some alternate store?
I hope they add lightning trails to the rest of the weapons.
Sadly, they do not all work like this. I really wish they did, I want glowing trails for daggers for my elementalist.
Ya, I was wondering too why only the shield and bows have trailing lightning effects where the other weapons do not. I hope they add trailing lightning to the rest of the weapons soon. Could a dev answer if we will be seeing those effects soon?
I really enjoyed SAB, Molten, and AR dungeon. They really shouldn’t take them out. It was nice to have something different to run.
Blood is the last thing that needs time wasted on developing in this game. There are many weapons in need of particles before that stuff. I prefer no gore and blood anyways. I get enough of that in my biology classes.
Without expansions….does that mean we won’t get new classes or skills? My god the skills are getting really old by now. Especially when many classes have weapons that they all avoid.
This is what I am really worried about right now. In a few months I will have a level 80 of every class. The part I enjoy the most right now is playing different classes, it seems there might never be any new classes or races with the living story.
This new content every two weeks is nice and all…but I am ready for something a little more meatier then go press F 200 times in different places for a new backpack skin. And a dungeon that leaves long before it gets old. Why put the effort into something that shows up for such a short time. SAB stayed for a whole month (and again was removed long before I was finished with it. It REALLY needed to stay permanently).
If we aren’t going to be getting real expansions, can we start working new races and classes into the game on a rotation? Like we get a new race and class and 6 months later we get another race and class?
There needs to be an option to replay missions from personal story (they just need to take out rewards for second time). I would love to replay the missions.
1. Skritt (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/community/fangen/ROLL-SKRITT-YES/first#post2117242)
2. Hylek (yes please)
3. Quaggan
4. Dredge
5. Tengu
The first three are the most important for new playable races.
This is why you should never buy RNG boxes.
No consumables.
Rangers only.
Final Destination.

2. Quaggan
3. Skritt
1. I’m almost certain they will be like every other piece of temporary content. Gone when the event is over.
2. Yet to be determined.
3. Probably not. See answer 1.
In reply to #1.
I worked and got all the skins from SAB. I would love to have all the old skins back next time. Why do future GW2 players have to have the old skins withheld because they were no playing back when I was playing? I really do not understand the point. You could say “You will feel so much more special since you will be the only ones with those”. So? Why should someone’s future warrior not get a 8bit greatsword to make me feel special.
I love SAB, I have replayed it more then any dungeon in the game. I can see how some might think the skins do not quite fit the lore (I think they are quite fun). But I do not see that many around and as more different weapons get released those people probably will not have to worry too much.
-Hylek. Yes please, I really want to see these frog warriors in the game.
-Kodan, Skritt, Tengu, Quaggan, Largos. Yes, all are races I would be interested in playing.
-Dredge. Would be ok with them, but not crazy about them.
-Centaurs. They already said no mounts in the game. Would rather other races before them.
-Krait. No thanks, they seem more evil then most races. Not so interested in lizard mermen either.
I wish they would just keep some of the temporary content in the game like the halloween and wintersday pvp events. I do not see what harm it would do keeping fun content in other then a few people would say they were bored of them.
1UP.
This is the most fun dungeon I have done in this game. Closing it down would be a huge shame.
I would cry tears of joy if this became a permanent part of GW2. This is easily the most fun dungeon I have done in this game. I just hope it ends up staying so I have something fun to show new people I get into the game.
