I like the changes of elite specs. What i don’t like is imbalance in doing so.
Chornomancers being tanks is ok.
Chronomancers being only tanks that matter is not.
Distortion really needs a nerf – the whole raiding meta are built around the idea that everyone does 100% dps uptime and chronos let them ignore mechanics through shared distortion.
they even kick you out of the party, they are giving you a chance to improve.
I call BS. They’re not giving you a chance to improve – they’re getting rid of you.
As someone who around 3-4 years ago got kicked from dungeons over and over for running terrible builds (like a warrior with a rifle and no banners), after certain amount of kicks i got a hint that i was doing something wrong, and the problem was with my performance. So i asked around and after some time i did improve as a player.
Perma bans would be the only best solution with deniable refunds if found using such programs. Dunno why Anets been looking the other way and allowing it lately.
They allow it because its very useful tool for the hardcore playerbase.
It’s sad, I’ll either have to look for around for another game if this will be the normal way groups are formed for fractals or anything anymore. But then it’s been going down hill for a couple years now.
Or you can pug T1-T3 where nobody cares about dps. Or do T4s with your friends and guildmates.
The best solution would probably be auto group finder that considers a plethora of factors when groups up players together, so that new players with mediocre gear aren’t stuck with hardcore players that want to speedrun.
That might solve some of the problem ,but I’ve seen players in top gear still be kitten bad at the game and their classes
Well among other things it should consider the amount of successful clears of said fractal/raid/dungeon too. So people doing their 1000th run are grouped with similar players.
Sadly there is no good light pants for females. The closest things are Ascalonian Performer, Illustrious and Profane skins.
Aetherblade armor skins cough. Also known as the yoga pants among “human female meta” :p
You’re talking about heavy, the light aetherblade is a skirt.

Mobs seem kind of tanky to power damage idk.
I was running full glass FA Sc/Wh tempest and haven’t had a problem with mobs except the hyena bounty boss that kept teleporting to me and 2-shotting into downstate.
To avoid elitists best tip is to create your own LFG with the message like “Casual and friendly daily T4 run, non-meta builds encouraged”
I’m honestly curious: why do you list all those things and call yourself “casual”? I mean what version of “casual” allows you to accomplish all that and still think you are “casual”?
Because i don’t tryhard and farm, i play on my own laid-back pace.
But, if you really had not idea of the many thing that were done that made HoT unfriendly towards casual players, so much so that you needed to ask this question, I am going to wager that you are nowhere near close to being a casual player yourself, so, no offence to you in any way, but it would be impossible for you to gauge if PoE was in fact casual friendly or not, thus you really could not answer my question.
I consider myself a casual player – 4000 hours played, 16k AP, 5 legendary weapons + legendary backpack, do T4 fractals almost every day and here and there dabble into raiding. I had some troubles with HoT initially and even posted angry rants about it. But after some time everything became piece of cake. I know all HoT maps like my own backyard, finished all HoT story and maps achievements and now i don’t have any trouble running in the jungle on pure glass builds. So i say its l2p issue and a matter of giving it some time.
Don’t do Leeroy Jenkins strategy and you’ll be fine. Usng brain and dodging helps a lot. People solo fractal 100 CM and raid bosses and here you’re complaining that you had to plow through 20 trash mobs.

Max out FOV slider, sit back further from the monitor – no sickness whatsoever.
What should I do?
Play something else.
Hopefully this get fixed in tuesday’s patch.
Remember when Nageling giant, that you needed for the Juggernaut collection was bugged for like a month? I hope this won’t be the case.
Really hoped Aug. 1 patch would fix the issue.
Another batch of tears into chalice.
Cons:
- As always with LS3, story feels rushed and lack a fair amount of polish. Didn’t like direction that story took in this episode at all. Felt like a filler between LS3 and Exp2. Maybe this story should’ve worked better if it was a raid.
- Dialogues as usual are bad and full of immersion breaking humor and modern slang.
- A certain story character looked better in GW1 than in GW2 (she looks like generic npc).
- Some mechanics and puzzles are feel like tedium and not exactly fun to play.
- New mastery feels like a “filler” – haven’t used it a single time doing story and map completion.
- Some achievements are too hard (maybe?).
Pros:
- New fractal.
- New legendary sword.
- New legendary trinkets.
Its Jennifer Hale – Queen Jennah as she revealed to be Lyssa – “One God that stayed behind.”
Pros: Finally ability to preview gliders.
Cons: Overdesigned and clunky. Too much stuff going on at once. Hover menus with submenus are bad design choice. Does feel like cash shops in all those crappy asian f2p mmos. Still no ability to use dyes in the preview window without finding out dyes on TP and clicking preview on them.
CoLD: Crystals of Lost Desert
In my opinion, which seems contrary to opinion of the majority, GW2 writing and especially dialogues were getting worse with each year since launch. HoT was terrible, LS3 is just a teenage sitcom full of cheesy lines. But majority of playerbase seems really like it, so i guess Anet figured out the style that appeals to lowest common denominator, because that makes larger profit.
Ele build diversity. One can hope.
Cringe, memes and C-grade humor instead of immersive dialogues, as always lately. The map is quite good. The fight with Caudecus could use some adjustments, as LW is targeted for more casual part of the playerbase.
Its not the Caudecus its the Jade Constructs that make this last fight annoying and frustrating. Caudecus could use some HP trim though, too spongy.
I run meta zerk build when i’m focused and switch to my wvw soldier set when i’m watching something on the other monitor After some time you learn to dodge and open world is really easy even in full glass cannon mode.
Someone call the dark brotherhood we have one annoying norn that needs to be taken care of.
Personally i hoped that all of the LS1-2 heroes will sacrifice themeselves during the fight with mordy during HOT story. So LS3 could get a new cast of characters. Instead we only got deaths of Eir and Trahearne.

Overall pretty good episode. Very nice new map and fractal.
Gating the new zone behind a mastery was not very good decision imo.
As always not a big fan of cutesy stuff, babysitting a dragon and angsty Braham.
Where is the option to knock out Braham for being a brat? And option to let others to babysit a dragon?
How about Aurora?
Here is a video of Ele with focus in main and offhand – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UdGFX1zZq0 :p
Agreed. More Caithe less Taimi. Make LS3 great again.
I don’t understand why someone thought this was a good idea.
Indeed. Its not a good idea, its a brilliant idea!
Seriously though, its a videogame.
Frustratingly, it puts those us of us who consider it an exploit so refuse to do it at a disadvantage.
Disadvantage of being able to buy twice amount of ecto for the same amount of gold?
Your character is suffering from the early stages of bloodstone madness.
Or you know… Dual wielding foci.
I need dual swords for my ele.
1. Didn’t like story at all. Too much humor, too much irony. Feels like narrative team gave up on trying to make a coherent and compelling story and just doing jokes and memes now.
2. Kawaii dragons in RPG about apocalypse, where dragons are primordial god-like forces?
3. Recolored destroyers make me think of korean grindfest mmos.
4. Lava tubes instead of jumping pads? Like really? My character takes a dive in the hot lava?
5. Everything above really breaks my immersion. Can’t be bothered to go back to Ember Bay after going through the story once.

No. I just do dailies, do daily gathering and crafting, log off and play other games.
Best change since launch, second only to autosalvage.
Non Raiders blocked from XP bar spirit shards

You can always try buying the raid boss kill, there are lots of such lfgs every day. If its the escort i think it will be pretty cheap.
Facerolled all LS3 content on multiple characters with bad builds and gear. So its definetely l2p issue.
After your initial outrage try to learn it, explore and get lost in it. I’m sure in no time you’ll learn to appreciate it.
Its a new gemstore greatsword skin.
Got it on my second try without any mesmers, and i’m bad at this game.
Takes 1 hour running solo.
1. Use more tankier gear.
2. Find people to do events together: lfg; tags on the map; or just try different parts of the map for someone doing meta.
3. To level up masteries play Tag Wars 2 in Dragon’s Stand with some xp boosters.
3. To get masteries points – explore all the maps.
Give us an option to clear raids for pugs in green gear, spamming autoattack and not using dodge.
Nah, all the players who can’t afford green gear and are stuck with whites and blues would be left out. Remember, raiding has to be able to be done by everyone right?
Ok. Ok, how about RPG mode – where you can sneak through trash mobs and talk your way out of the fight with the boss and convince him to give you rewards anyway.
I’ve seen a big Norn called Inedible Bulk.
