So you have to re-download it ALL when you swap to German? Because the deleting local.dat, and rebooting and waiting for 20 min did nothing….

You know, I’m not badmouthing or bashing this game.

I think A-Net wants players ONLINE ~ spending there disposable income in the gem shop and bringing more people in game to play with them.

The whole “If you want raids, go to WoW” thing is just ridiculousness. This is a suggestion forum and as a player, that’s a portion of the game I would enjoy. With the lack of the “holy trinity” and no taunt mechanic as well as no dedicated healers I would be super interested in seeing what they would come up with in the way of raids.

So please, stop telling me to go to WoW. If you were never very successful at raiding.. I’m sorry for you. I for one love it and would like to see it added into this game. The only reason I logged in all week was to pop guild buffs, thats just sad.

I am allowed to make suggestions and recommendations without fearing the wrath of fanboys. Either contribute to the conversation constructively or just stop trolling.

I love love love love love this game.
I have 2 80’s –
both fully exotic
1 with 100% map completion (the other one not that far off)
instance / karma grinds get old after a period of time.
There is absolutely ZERO reason to craft (most of the time on the market it cost let to buy the item vs the mats to make it). I do however have a 400 tailor, armorsmith, leatherworker, artificer, and cook.

I’m about to rearrange the house.. =/ that’s never any good. I would rather be immersed in your world! But no, tonight I caught up on TV shows and watched Magic Mike.

Please ~ Figure out some form of raiding.

Put a random 5 tokens in his chest and see how often he gets skipped by people

Archon is looking at adding a few more “Templars” (Officers) to its ranks (5/6ish). Here are the details!

Recruiting Officer (1 per time zone) – A gregarious go getters with high playtime and a Ventrilo presence.

WvW/PvP Officer (1 EST & 1 PST) – Someone who likes to organize WvW events, with a firm understanding of WvW/PvP and a genuine interest in developing/growing that portion of the guild! Our go to person for PvE’ers who have PvP/WvW type questions! I would ultimately like to see each of these officers host a WvW map exploration event once a month!

With proven results in the growth of this guilds WvW ranks these officers will also be in charge of maintaining and activating Art of War upgrades for the guild.

Administrative Officer – Do you like paperwork? Do you like to keep track of things and answer questions? HeY! I have the job just for you!

All officers should have:
High Playtime
High Ventrilo Presence
Friendly Dispositions
Willingness to lend a hand/help out other members beyond what just benefits them.

Indication of interest in any of these positions will not automatically result in being placed in them. You must demonstrate the ability to perform the duties in order to obtain the position.

I have a 400 cook. I would never do it again. Waaay too much karma and coin are required to get anywhere with the skill. Its horrid.

And vanilla.. Yea jfc Vanilla.. Its not even remotely funny.

Question for those of you who make omnombars for sell.. You dont have an issue with selling your karma?? (buttermilk), that urks me so bad.

My group was just bad? I didn’t say we weren’t able to complete the instance I said that time-sink vs reward is out of whack.

My group did very good. Considering we didn’t tab out, look up any strats or anything like that. We went in blind and came out with 60 tokens and our repair bill wasn’t THAT bad.

Were a group of pretty decently skilled MMO players. Those of you who tout that this instance isn’t out of whack at all seem like nothing more then dedicated fan boys or elitist jerks.

My Norn is THICK and I like it! Shes not fat at all, but shes no skinny mini either!

haha I said “This is a” ….. “55” instance and it replaced it with “Kitten” Lame!

We got through the instance. NO WAY in heck I would do that instance with a pug. You wanna scale that one down a bit? its a little out of control.

God forbid anyone want gear from that instance (like me pout) no one is ever going to want to go back. Difficulty level vs reward is just tooo out of wack.

A zillion knights all over, one of the names were surrounded by 4 knights.
On the last boss the tree vets that spawned did nothing except chain root, stun, knockdown. It was way too much.
Oh and those stupid little trolls at the entrance, did you put them on roids or something?

This is kitten instance? lol at 55 I wasn’t geared like I am now I’m not sure I would have been able to do it.

The gears pretty, the instance is pretty too bad its too much of a PITA to run. =(

I have been to all of the vendors and there are no karma boots that are
Percision, Vit and Healing Power.

So the whole set is available to purchase via Karma except those boots? I have all the other stuff.

When I cast empower, its amazing! like my soul is bursting out of my big ol Norn chest!

I’m looking at getting another set of gear, I cant decided what stats I want on it. So lets chat… What gear are you wearing? What stats do you look for (and why). and what is your play style?

For example, my current set of gear is a heavy support/heal set and that’s pretty much how I play.. support. I do a lot of staff healing / buffing / condition removal. I keep my skill (7-0) set up to support that type of roll.

I have noticed as I become more comfortable in how/when to heal and buff I’m becoming way more active beyond that and enjoying it. I swap to my GS often and hop in to pound on mobs.

So what stats are you running and why? What have you tried, what has and hasn’t worked? how do you play.

yea this happens to me non stop now. Half the time it causes me to die. =/ I try to be quick and check the buff bar to see if I have any movement impairments on me, if I dont I hit empower then try to push forward. but then its normally a collision issue with a drove of mobs in front of me and a lot of times I’m in a big red AE ring or two.

It seems to be if somethings is at my feet. A dead player or a rock or something like that. And when it happens I cant even rez another player or dodge.

I miss raids. And you guys do know there are other mmos other then wow right? I <3 eq raids

It is missing a few key components, it does feel a little incomplete, but there not charging me a monthly fee to play so im very happy with what i bought. I see them activly working at improvements and im impressed with that. Just like you, i will continue to express “what i would like to see” and it appears as though the devs are cool enough to listen to the community and continue to build the game around its suggestions. I look forward to the future of the game!! Until then i will sit around and amass my fortune! I had 11 gold today!! But then i bought something shiny and pretty.. Time to start over!! And im on my phone typing this.. So forgive any typos

Guild Chat is not glue tho. Its available with any guild.

Lets say Killing Zaitan required 20+ people (more then just 1 or 2 groups).
And that he drops Shards for Conquest Gear (or whatever you want to call it).
And these shards are only available by defeating events of this caliber. These shards enable players to unlock a whole new level of gear or they can be downgraded to be used as dungeon tokens as well.

There you go.. you now have an event that requires more then 1 group of people here is “glue” .. ok ok I know so its a raid.. but still. raids are glue.. guild chat is not!

And thats very nice that you enjoy guild chat! By no means do I want to come off as though I’m putting that down, because I’m not. I’m just saying for some people there has to be another reason to flock together.

Is it possible to change the Loot key to be assignable? Free it from being tied to Interact/Rez/Whatever?

I know you set a priority, but have you done your large scale dynamic events?

I would love it if that single action could be user mapped to a different key (or set of keys).

I love the game and I have had a blast playing it. But here is my question… what is there to build loyalty to a guild?

I come from a pretty hard core raiding background… so I love raids. Yet there are none here in GW2… whats the common end game goal that requires a group of people to work together?

We planned a few WvW nights, but our guild was segregated into separate groups because at the time no one had 100g for the commanders tome.. and.. half the guild couldn’t get into the same BG because of cue times. People logged out and went to be in frustration.

So why stay with one guild over another if there is nothing to work towards on a group level?

Who picks these? There the worst racials ever.

Are their random moments in game where you have no control effects on you but your unable to move? Glued to the ground? I cant get out of the “Stuck” unless I cast Empower or Whirl. I have described this to endless members of my guild and they always say it never happens to them and tonight I heard another Norn mention it and I got so excited that it wasn’t JUST ME! This happens to me a LOT!

Mainly in Combat / Events. And when it happens If someone is dead at my feet the game wont even let me rez them. I am 100% unable to move.

Same thing with recipes. It seems like anything that was banked prior to the patch is still soul bound (even though the tag says account).
