sbi has proved to have immense numbers, but very low skill or tactics. you guys came into ebg keep 3-4 times when we werent outmanned and had close to 30. u wiped miserably in lords lol. but now were outmanned so it goes back to normal. not very smart tho when the points don’t count anyway since we get them b4 tick.

I like BP’s tactics… let us have everything while every person in your server holes up inside the keep with an AC.

Did a little roaming in SBI BL and ran into some [XOXO] (Dank and a couple others). You guys are really skilled and gave me advice that I will heed and iterate on my build a bit more to pump in some more damage.

Lol, yea… the only [XOXO] I have ran into so far fight at towers and run inside at 10% health (tower-hump), or wait til they are 5v1 against me. They specifically are some of the wrost BM players I have seen yet actually. Made some guilds on JQ look like the popes royal guard.

Oh well, here is to hoping there are some actually honorable players in SBI…. ugh :/

There were 3 guys in SBI this afternoon specifically that have no backbone. Tags were [XOXO] [RISE] and [LEXS] that were horrid tower-humpers and runners. If XOXO is just trully NSP… they should recheck their rosters. Cause someone is running around in SBI Invader giving their guild a VERY VERY bad name. Hell all of those 3 guys from SBI are giving those guilds a very bad name lol.

1) Read my last post in response to said comment. I agreed on his standpoint, so no need to beat a dead horse.
2) Who cared about them being upgraded? I dont remember anyone griping over that. Tho I have to say, easy points are easy points I guess. It’s just to most other people, it’s making it look like you guys are taking the easier way out by constantly “PvDing” our Borderlands. Even ppl in NSP see that. NSP wants a challenge too!
3) Server ranks are near meaningless with this new matchup system. Next match you could be pitted against AR and DR, kick their kitten and STILL lose rank, where we could face DH and IoJ, get our butts kicked, and STILL gain rank, and overtake u in rank. I lol at that logic.
4) GoM hasn’t started from that high of a rank to start freefalling as we are now compared to the other servers. We still have some PuGs, and a few organized guild groups, but as I said on a previous post, it’s not counting for much in this match against two servers with superior numbers in WvW at most times. It’s mainly a matter of time before the PuGs get disinterested totally at this rate.
5) GoM’s been through plenty of times where we’ve been outmanned before, so kindly get off your high horse thinking we’re total greenhorns about it. Even when outmanned, I fight as I did tonight. (Can even read chat log in 3rd screen for verification) Hell, I kept running even till my armor broke >.>

I spent an extra 2-3 hours defending our keep from your PvDoorers and my server mates and our dedicated commanders had to switch back and forth from defending against NSP and you who took advantage of our empty borders. So we took yours while defending against NSP and to our surprise your borders remained empty for so long. That was just payback as you had people annoying us for long hours in our borders when we can barely cap back our own camps. Then I see a lot of forum warriors here all of the sudden degrading and humiliating us. Oh well we have great commanders and small group of PUGs/Newbies/PVEs getting better. And we aren’t the losing server so maybe the last time I take GoM forum warriors seriously. Our awesome commanders and our servers effort deserved more respect and credit not your groundless insults. Just look at the score we defend and fight back harder and we rarely ever bash you over here. And BS Guild is awesome to represent ET and win 2nd place . So I’ll leave that here.

5) once again, just stating the obvious. no complaining in my post. my post came out due to your post. someone from gom asked a simple question and someone else from gom answered. there was no real complaining just answering a question and you pounce on it with ignorance. you deserve name calling.

in REF to SAB, when it first came out, gom started losing wvw matches easily. eventually we were pushed down to t8. SAB was still going and we lost that first match up by about 13k points. the following week, SAB pretty much over, and we win by 50k points. I think this here would explain the level of pve’ers vs other servers, only this time they wont be coming back to wvw. at least not without knowing they can mass farm karma.

As for the last sentence on organization and focus, our more organized WvW guilds left us mainly because of said reasons that most of us seem to be stuck on the mindset of PvE content and that even in WvW a lot of our randoms tend to be really unorganized and that they shouldered the weight of GoM’s WvW too much. As a result GoM has very few organized WvW groups left. It’s pretty much a combination of both things that seem to be crippling our server badly.

for awhile, usually when I would try to go to eb it would be full, this week is the first time ive had outmanned buff in all 4 maps. commander jumping from gom bl to eb and back just to try and keep things. gom has always been a mostly pve based server. difference for a long time was we had wvw guilds running karma trains for pve’ers. now those people have left, and with no one to follow, pve’ers have also left leaving our wvw pop a practical wasteland.

same thing happened with SF. when it got to difficult running through karma trains in wvw, the pve’ers left and SF dropped through the tiers again. its pretty simple to see really.

Why are we doing so bad this week? We were doing so well these past months. What happened?

We actually had all 3 WPs, but then a little thing called sleep came in and ET usually strikes us while we’re away anyways. With all the transfers out too, coverage wars aren’t in our favor.

Strange. NSP were attacking our EB right to the keep while GoM took advantage and try to ninja rush all our keeps with 3 alpha golems and 1 omega. That fight we lost our bay since I was solo defending it and I was busy changing builds. Later you went on to south Hills. I called some people and commander in EB and wipe you out and destroyed 1 golem. Then a few mins of pretending to be gone, some of you came back to garrison water gate again (while we were busy in EB) with 1 omega / 2 alpha golems and some of your people then you got completely massacred including all your golems swimming for their lives. So we took it further into your own borderlands. Lucky for you “The Patch” saved what was left of it (which was totally unfair for us btw!), we would’ve went all night capping everything that was green when we didn’t even really have any plans. It’s not to brag (we were quiet while you keep calling us names over and over). I’m just kitten ed how your servers keep looking down on ET. Hope you all earn your fall to the bottom of tier 8, you’re so delusional and noisy. BTW arguing about coverage and sleep ET is Medium-High at best population while GoM is still Very High certain times. Don’t even use server transfers as an excuse cause us and HoD fall from Tier 1 from “FREE transfers” so your experience with bandwagon transfers means garbage to us. -_-’

very high population does not equate to wvw population, gom is mostly a pve server.

Ok, so you call us out saying we had a 30 man zerg going. Then you are saying it wasn’t a literal 30 guys. Then talk about being outmanned when we were playing the morning with the outmanned buff. Plus your photo clearly shows only about 15 (including the Siege commander and his yak) and you have 5+ (hard to tell when dead guys are on top of each other in the radar) in/around the tower with 4 guys (including you) going to the tower. The rest of your party isn’t there either.

He just has to try and make himself look good.. when their 75 man zerg wipes our 30 man zerg, they think they are good and laugh and take pics.

also, when there are orange swords, that doesn’t mean there are 30 invaders, its a total of people that make up orange swords.

Multiple AR and FC groups came at us and we even attempted Bay, but our main intention was to see how long we held against AR just the two of us as what started all that was the 2 man lord room hold against 10+ish AR :PAll the fights we had were fun as ever! well fc ran through our bl taking stuff.. when they got garrison they didnt’ do a mes sweep.. we pushed them away from hills and gar was retaken very quickly with Mesmer. and sneaky isn’t very good either so letting him port people into garrison just makes the situation much much worse

Great job to GoM these past two days! I wish you guys would have played like this all week!

We sincerely would have liked to. Unfortunately, every time we’d settle in for a push against YB, we’d have to leave to go chase some vultures out of our yard.

And every time we went to yaks bl, gom ran to ours. Its how the game is being played. Sometimes when you push a bl the other server joins in, but not always. For the weekdays it seemed like everytime X attacked Y’s BL – Z would attack X’s BL. (case in point, YB attacked kain’s BL early in the week and GoM attacked YBBL instead of joining YB on kainbl).

Frankly, GoM has always been about putting pressure on the first place server. Most of the time we hit Kain was to spread the attention and get what points we could. I in fact remember on more than a few occasions Kain hitting YB, then we (GoM) making a move to other side of the map to use the distraction to hit YB. As to your example, the answer is simple: YB was in first. GoM plays for first. Makes the choice easy for us.

I do kind of think it funny that you turn the double team talk back on GoM… considering both YB and Kain were in GoM in full force in the opening min of the matchup. You thought us weak and easy pickings. You now know better.

I agree with this.. we were defending bay from yaks who just ran in with 0 strategy as if we were gonna be easy but we wiped ya.. then you started using tactics and we still wiped ya.. I cant remember how many times we wiped ya there considering you just wouldn’t give up.

but for this matchup, it has been fun and different from everything else. had some fun duels, and some not so fun duels that were interrupted by invaders as wells as those from my home world. also enjoyed diving into kaineng zergs and yak zergs as well. just as my pic earlier showed and yeah I cant help but to make it seem you all came in there for me, I gotta make myself feel good, lol. but that time you came to me and I wasn’t bout to run even though I knew I was gonna be just destroyed.

Just an FYI for your server, but you could try to take supply camps back with less than 30 from your side.

they could also defend them with less than 30 people too.. if they make it there in time.

Did a head count in EB, GoM has 7 people all up defending against 2 zerg balls from both servers too scared to touch each other or even so much as flip each others camps.

zerg balls not hitting each other doesn’t really matter to me.. but I love the gif
