please keep in mind that sometimes the server gliches. this has happened to me before where i had swiftness and quickness without the boons. sometimes i think the servers get overloaded and gliches happen such as that. did it seem like the whole server was doing it or was it just a couple people? if just a couple people then may have been hacks but if it seemed most of the server then probably a glich happened

pics 1 – 3.. i happened on teivospy myself and after a quick engagement she started running. always showing vids of winning 2 v 15 gom and stuff like that.. ( i know 1 vid that teivospy posted was edited. based on what she said it seems like she always records so the video is edited. it doesn’t show the 3 other times i believed she and her charr mesmer were killed, only the ending. it doesn’t show where it seemed 2 spca + 1 other nsp thief vs 2 gom and losing, but it only shows video after all that.)

but teivospy couldn’t win 3 v 1.. wouldn’t win 2 v 1 and probably wouldn’t win 1 v 1 ( see what i did there,, i said probably,, im not so high up on myself that i believe im the best and would always win,, so that means i could have lost too..)

the last 2 pics were my party of 5 vs you spca + it looked like 3 or 4 others so it was a pretty even match. most of us alive and all of you dead.

GT is by far a better guild than SPCA.. they are respectful friendly players who dont come on forums posting videos calling people names. ( even though they only seem to say hi after they kill me except for the rare occasion but all in good fun ). from what ive seen of spca is you have an engi 2 or 3 thieves and a mesmer. thats mostly all ive seen and there is nothing special about an OP party like that. you also have to remember that this is wvw and not pvp. pvp happens in wvw, but it doesnt make wvw pvp. there is nothing wrong trying to get 4 v 4 duels in wvw but you have to understand its wvw and anything goes. we should all be having fun enjoying the game in the way we want to and leave the name calling to the children.

the problem i have with the outmanned buff is invaders can see if you are outmanned or not.. kinda gives it away when they know they can just steam roll..

you know.. " hey they are outmanned..".. " really,, hmm forget plan A and B and go to the new plan C of knock knock.. oh yeah no one is home.. just take it"

I had alot of fun there, picking you guys and trying to lure a couple of you as fas as possible from the tower. Were you the elementalist?

I had nice fights as well last evening. Most fun was probably the 1 v 3 while I was definding a yack by our garrison. You got my poor yack but you all died finaly. Sorry for picking on the upleveled first but that guardian was horribly annoying

yeah.. i was the sylvari ele. i had a blast all night long. i cant remember if you killed me the first encounter.. i just remember “NSP invader waves” and i went after you for the second encounter.. i knew what was coming but i just couldn’t help but to chase you.. especially when i saw your health ticking away assuming i hit you just barely with my churning earth i had to keep chasing. i dont know why i chase.. especially mesmers when i know whats coming but like i said i just cant help myself.
i hope to find you again sometime.. i know the outcome pretty much but i still enjoy and have fun.

all i can say is WOW.. from reset til now which is 6 hours it has seemed to be nonstop NSP v GOM slaughterfest.. NSP went hard in our bl pushing pretty far.. i look at the map and notice we were pushing thier map.. when we gain control and start re capping i look at the map and NSP is doing the same.. then here comes nsp again pushing and taking.. i look at the map and we doing the same thing.

im in shock and akittenut this nite.. we were constantly at each others throats.. i just logged off after 6 hours right after NSP retook their hills keep.. and that was a strung out fight.. i was the trebber trying to hit your trebs at star..

but it was a really fun nite.. thnx nsp for the constant battling in our bls..

if you are running by yourself thinking its not fair that 5 people can beat you in arena and port back up top then that is your fault.. ik it is a pain to run through there and get to arena only to be nerf ganked by campers.. but if there is a mesmer up there porting them back up and if you really want that chest you will have to form a team to clear them out.

here is 1 suggestion that we have used before.. make sure you have a thief and or mesmer.. preferably mesmer but both will do wonders. 1 person of your party must be the bait.. have them go through the dark room first.. when he gets to the other side everyone else go through.. have him start his jumping process as if nothing is wrong knowing he will probably die. as they start to gank him just wait til you see the mesmer attacking odds are using the GS. then have your mesmer do the famous pull them all off the edge. their fall damage will be greater and you should be able to kill them faster. if you only manage to kill 2 of them and the mesmer was able to port the rest up.. then thats 2 you dont have to contend with. have 1 or 2 start trying to make jumps while the rest keep them busy. your mesmer should always be trying to pull them off.

this is just one method of doing it and there are others. but from my experiences, the ones at the bottom of the arena have the advantage because of pulls and fall damage.

you should always go through jp with the expectation of fighting. im passive but i always have my fingers ready and make sure you bring stability and invulnerability if you can.

True. Sometimes, you just can’t avoid it. When several random groups meet and fight agains’t another giant group, it’s kind of fun and refreshing. But running from point A to point B with the same 20-30 people every evening isn’t really what we’re calling “fun”.
Also, I can understand people who zerg. I remember when I was more of a pve player, I was scared by pvp. For real.
I had to try it again and again and play with dedicated and patient pvpers to start enjoying it. Now I love it, but I know how people can feel when it comes to fight someone else.

Actualy, we can find every kind of fights in EB with this matchup. And it’s amazing. We are really enjoying it so far. A lot more than in T6 to be honest.

cool.. me too and im glad we are not disappointing ya.. and yeah , after awhile i have to break off of the zerg to solo roam a bit or find a 2 or 3 man group.

We’re here to have fun. We know that we will encounter groups way larger than ours ( we’re 2, and on very rare occasions 3) and expect to die a lot. Our goal is to survive and have memorable fights ( well, my real goal is to shout stars and hearts with my future Immobulus but shhh).
But I have to admit that sometimes, getting focused by siege weapons while we’re already outnumbered is quite upseting. This is the reason why we are avoiding all the big structures in WvW, and siege as well. And zergs. Because zerging is boring

i agree with you as well.. i just want memorable fights too.. whether 1 v 1.. 2 v 2.. so on so forth.. even outnumbered my goal is the same to survive or see what i can do and die.. i die alot too.. but i have fun nonetheless.

and zerging can actually be fun in limited quantities.

Yep, then several other times throughout the morning, though there was a warrior with me most of the rest of the day. I asked him to break off and check out the camp for y’alls mesmer when I saw you alone on the hill for our last fight of the day. I seemed to have lucked out with multiple crits on a 4x shatter in close, making for an anticlimactic end to the day for me.

Anyways, hats off to you and your mesmer that I had the pleasure of 1v1’ing for a couple of minutes until you showed up and we were both downed. Hats off, indeed.

that first fight was a doozie.. hats off to you for your recovery after my surprise attack.. i think i won because i caught you off guard and that probably gave me an edge but hard to tell since it did last awhile..

and sorry i went down so fast with the 4x shatter.. i dont know what i was thinking.. i guess i wasn’t thinking since i pretty much saw it coming and did nothing to avoid it. so pathetic on my part. i would rather lose putting up a good fight than to win with ease so hopefully next time you win it wont be such a disappointment.

This is quite the wishful thinking. It’s less of “infighting” and more of laugh at the “town idiot.” It’s quite the unanimous opinion of the server, and the person already said that they would transfer if free transfers were to ever come back up. But since they likely won’t, we have to find some amusement in him being here.

And Why did PAXA leave NSP?

2 reasons. It’s simple NSP has the pvp base we are mostly looking for in enemies. 2-3 mans/ 5 mans every night other than the stereotypical [ALS/Os] Zerg of 30. When we played BP and AR all those “skill bases” knew how to do was follow follow follow behind blue doritos. Very litttle challenge other than not dying to 30 that can tend to be challenging. HoD and GoM were smaller pvp population and NSP wasn’t going anywhere so thougt it would be a good idea to fight more of our style against the small mans of NSP. Turned out to be one of our better Moves as far as quality of fights have gone.

Second reason was to be able to mess up some people who talk a lot of server wide pride and their success on the forums but lack individual talent for the most part… Very very similar to [ALS], [BURN], ect. Ect. Ect.

Why 2-3-5 man in WvW when you can do small scale in PvP? I thought WvW was meant for large scale battles.

because its structured pvp.. you cant use racial skills and most cant use thier current wvw build so people come to wvw for small scale pvp

i might quit wvwvw just to read the forums.. lots of battles going on in here.

ive dueled some PAXA 1 v 1 who were solo roaming.. 1 was a sylvari mesmer which was a long fight and i barely won in the end.. ive also 1 v 1 i think a guardian from Os which was very tough fight.. unfortunately it was in the eb jp and the guardian attacked me first after i ran past but it was still fun.. but it was at the beginning too so i guess it was no big deal anyway

:o I try not to attack people in JPs so wasn’t me! They are making custom arenas for that, so soon we can have GVGs and such! It will be nice.

I understand what PAXA is doing and have never had a problem with it. They apparently don’t like actual WvW though and therefore hate us because we like actual WvW or something like that.

i heard about those arenas.. hopefully that happens soon.. also heard about possible dueling or will that be in the custom arenas?? either way will be fun and then maybe we can have some kind of peaceful fight nite..lol.. peaceful

Well we HH took everything in EB and protected GOM BL from 6 golems attack. we stopped at nothing but its pretty boring day since not much big battles today.

BTW NSP and HOD thx for your tokens, yesterday I got 180 kills and 0 death, the day before I got 200 kills and 3 deaths within the great hunts (4 hours long). We are so busy killing we don’t even have time to pick up loots lol. it is good to swim in the blood river that flows from the enemies broken bodies.

that was a fun chase.. after realizing we couldn’t get you we figured we should “punish” you by forcing you to start all over at your keep — and it was safe for us since the whole BL was green!

At one point there was a small glimmer of hope we could get you, but no such luck…

Also, how in the world would our morale be broken? We couldn’t connect until around 9am EST, and it was only on certain maps. We could go into EB, but we couldn’t get into NSP BL until GoM had taken everything.

also every server has someone that uses exploits.. it happens all we can do is report them..

GoM server has already endured enough fallout due to hacks and exploits.. our wvw guilds that have stuck around and new ones created have worked hard to bring GoM out of the depths and to be a more respectful and fair playing server.. so yeah.. i will stand up and defend the honor of all those that have stuck around and endured and transformed GoM..

and its not impossible for morale of your server to be broken due to the inability to connect.. it does happen.. that maybe some have decided to just engage in combat and wait til reset to start over again..

Well you see there, the thing is BOTH times this happened. The WHOLE wvw world ended up blue for hours. I’m not sayin GOM cheated or caused it, I’m just pointing out that it was a major part of the reason you caught up in score.

Oh btw about the spy thing. I DOUBT it was anyone from HOD or GOM. NSP has it’s own large share of moronic trolls for one, secondly if it was anyone from another server it would be AR lol.. But my money is on trolls from our own server.

as for the connections issues every server had them.. im not saying that GoM was not able to benefit from it but we dont really know.. ive asked around in GoM about our lead and was told that NSP servers morale has been broken as well as we had new pve’ers come to wvw for map completion and when they came they actually liked it and alot stayed which i am glad to hear..

so hopefully we have a clean week of wvw to find out..

i wasn’t there for the glitch that happened with my HH guildies. there have been many times in the past a glitch happened like this and GoM was being spawn camped with the same results. when glitches like this happen it can be confusing and some people dont realize that there is a glitch and when they end up in another servers spawn and see a dead person they rez them without really knowing whats going on. everyone paid money to play this game and i dont expect them and i will not stop playing because a glitch happened. i bought the game.. im playing the game.. its just a game ( GET OVER IT !!!)

the bug that happened that didn’t allow NSP or HoD to connect.. well im not sure about that one because i couldn’t connect either.. i gave up on trying and actually went to bed early.. so using basic problem solving skills and simple logic .. if i couldn’t connect then that means that there are others from my server that couldn’t connect either so it affected EVERY SERVER.. this also resembles PVDooring and as such i would like to restate that people bought this game to play it and they should not have to stop playing because you and others cant connect..

now for all that siege.. i saw the picture and thats alot of siege.. so for you to say GoM sent a spy over or even HoD for that matter because you cant rule anyone out, that would take a very long time to build. so my question is how can no one from your server notice someone building all that siege. not 1 person saw that,,, really?? not 1 person got their account name and reported them?? that amazes me.. for all that siege to be placed and speed built so no one notices would take a large group.. i seriously doubt, that many people from GoM or HoD would pay that much gold to transfer over.. build all that siege, not really play wvw for a week, and then pay all that gold to transfer back, that sounds kitten..

so using basic problem solving skills and simple logic,, i think that NSP built all that siege in order to frame and exploit GoM because GoM won.. so no i wont mistake our win for skill but i think i will mistake your loss for the lack of.

im not sure why.. but HoD likes lowlands keep better than overlook..

Is there an official response to the “connection issues” that seem to be happening for NSP and HoD while GoM rolls through the maps? This has happened two times this week along with several other “glitches.”

alot of GoM are having issues as well with connections issues.. ik i lost connection and couldn’t get on here for over an hour last night and just gave up.. when i came back on and got my eb map completion.. i noticed no one chatting.. then out of nowhere my chat log was full of messages about people having connection issues..

i know that new mathcups can bring some wvw’ers back into the mix as well as a new influx of players,, but i never thought it would bring this much, i have to wonder if we gotten some transfers ,, even noticed that HoD has gotten stronger as well during thier coverage times,,

ive been on gom since bwe2.. but when the head start came out i played story mode all the way through before going into wvw.. figured by then ill be level 80 and more effective so i probably dont really know ronny or TCMM.

Here’s how things looked for those of us playing defense:

1. Knocked out a few jumping puzzles to stock up on blueprints and get ready for a night of awesome fights.

2. 12:03 AM – No sign of awesome fights. Built an offering to Great Lord Flame Ram in hopes that He would send us some worthy competition.

3. 12:25 AM – Great Lord Flame Ram failed to deliver. We have resorted to staging illegal golem/guard cage matches to pass the time.

4. 12:40 AM – A lone HoD elementalist appears! Overjoyed, we gave her the chance to duel what was left of our gladiator golem in single combat. Since Pierre is bad at golems, the fight was short and the result predictable.

5. 1:07 AM – Two NSP stroll by looking for their missing golem. We quickly change the subject and distract them by throwing an impromptu fight club. Much fun and amazing fights were had all around. NSP suspects nothing of what really happened to their golem.

that lone HoD ele looks like the one that i was partied with in GoM bl jp.. the one that got stuck in the door..lol

@ esplin… HH are my guild buddies.. they just want a fight.. so go steam roll them and they will be happy..

Lol, NSP used to be friendly but AR and BP showed us that if we dont camp it, TWIN or WAR well camp it. I guess some NSP still are still use to it

Oh I definitely can myself! Maybe not as well as fanisa can he’s amazing…but why do something alone when you can bring friends? Especially when they all like the JP just as much

sorry i couldn’t help myself.. i had to say it to get something else going other than the other posts going on.. I wasn’t QQing just want to see what i could get started.. not blaming NSP either since as far as i know all servers have campers just used them since they did kill me in the jp but all is well,, couldn’t stop me completely from getting chest..

yeah.. a downed player shouldn’t be able to run into tower.. a thief shouldn’t be able to stealth his way out of combat.. a mesmer shouldn’t be able to clone, blink, teleport thier way out of combat.. a guardian shouldn’t be able to ignore some cc and run through enemies to the safety of a tower,, a ( insert class here ) shouldn’t be able to ( insert survivability way here )…

yeah.. someone is gonna say that its different because its a downed skill,, so what?? this is about ensuring the kill so therefore if you remove the eles ability to survive you have to remove all classes ability as well, downed or up, to ensure everyone dies.

I don’t know why people complain about servers that pvdoor.. what is it that you want.. i suppose we should all state our coverage gaps so the other server can say ok lets not play at this time..

you cant expect the NSP army to just run around taking camps ,, these guys want to lay seige to something.. DH did it.. GoM did it as well when HoD and ET and SF fell through the ranking.. these guys want to play the game and if pvdoor ing is the only thing to do then so be it.

also the eb jp is supposed to be friendly so NSP needs to stop camping it!!

so far.. its been a heck of a fight. just wonder how the turnout is during the weekdays.

and i would like to thank NSP for giving me my 10k kill.. seemed like it took forever with DH and HoD ruining it.

and what gives.. guess DH doesn’t like GoM.. i feel so insignificant.. of course i always feel insignificant.

Indeed, legendary are supposed to be hard to get. For somebody who does no PvP or WvW it would take them 50 days worth of doing that JP to get the badges they need, provided they did the puzzle every single day. I’d say that’s pretty time consuming wouldn’t you?

As for siege being expensive, you’re right. But it’s also soulbound. And again, somebody not interested in WvW is not going to use them and they will be unable to give them to somebody else.

As for the gear, umm, well that’s not really anything valid to bring up as there’s jumping puzzles all over the game you can farm gear out of easily. Nobody does the EB jumping puzzle for gear. They do it for the badges (and the WvW’ers for the siege too).

Also, please don’t mistake me for the original poster. I’m not crying. I’m merely agreeing with him. But it’s funny that everybody calls it crying and QQing.

If you want to see some crying just search Youtube for people who’ve had their WoW accounts hacked. That’s crying.

And your definition of “free run” doesn’t apply to jumping puzzles. Again, they’re all over the place and easily farmed. There’s no “run” involved because nobody can pull you through a jump puzzle if you suck and just can’t make the jumps.

for someone who does no wvw and only does jp for badges then 50 days ,,, you are getting off easy and should take longer.

giving seige to people,, unless anet stopped it,, all you have to do is bring the seige out, and hit the little drop item button to the left of the #1 skill and you will drop the prints on ground and others can pick them up and store them.

i also do jps for gear since i gotten rares and exotics out of the chests and ive heard of someone getting a precursor from those chests as well.

i choose not to fight in the jp, but have been forced to do so at times, and eventually i make it through. if a pve’er is not going to contribute to wvw and just waste up space in the jp then maybe you should have to fight your way up. all 4 jps in wvw are extremely easy and legendaries are supposed to be hard earned. if mesmers are porting in there then they should make pve’ers take a camp before porting them up.

you also have to keep in mind that invaders seeing you in the jp are seeing someone trying to get seige to try and beat their server. to them, killing you before you reach the chest could mean the difference between winning and losing. others just choose that spot for fighting. me, i let people go unless they or others from thier server attack me then i assume all are hostiles unless i know them.

i only hope i dont miss out on it..
