I enjoy it. I mostly run around with tM/XOXO/SPCA and look for fights. Sure I miss all the people I used to play and talk with from GoM, but I wanted to switch things up and get a different perspective.

So… decided to check out this ARM guy in game because I thought he might be a good player.

In the first picture I’m facing GoM spawn waiting for you to come out to ruins. The second is when I waypointed back and ran to south supply camp. Didn’t find you at either place, unless you were one of the 13 bad GoM players that I was farming stacks off of.

In other words, you are a coward who didn’t show up to fight and you brought a friend.

This is where learning to play would come in handy for you. You could show up to 1v1s, and you wouldn’t have to bring a friend either. Learning to play has all these benefits and more! It has also been proven to lower cancer risk in mice. TRY IT TODAY DR SERVER!!!

Well eternal is fun GoM has more alpha golems than DR has people currently. GoM hits IOJ takes half there side then takes DR’s entire side. IOJ finally recaps there side and goes and hits DR keeps.

Its really lame that GOM needs such a large zerg to just capture an un-upgraded overlook keep from DR, and by using omega golems no less. Just goes to show that GOM is still a zerg fighting server.

Seriously, why the heck are we matched up against GOM??? We do not have the numbers of zergings to compeat. And the fact that siege (and golems) are now buyable on the trading post doesn’t help either, as its even EASIER to make golem rushes. This is a match-up pairing that should have never happened.

Only took one of me to beat him. It was a fun fight. Now the Charr engin from TWIN is really tough. On his normal setup, we had a fast fight (our first) where I dropped fast and a second where I had to really work. That second fight lasted at least 10-15 minutes and I finally got him. I’m looking forward to more such encounters.

I’d even be okay with 2, lol. 3, sure, I like a challenge. But I can’t do anything about 6, most times.

Also Moose, good post, but I highly doubt 95% of the population will change the way they’re already playing. GoM has way too many people, and IoJ has a pretty large population. When they’ve got that many on the map, they probably don’t see a reason to not zerg.

But hey, here’s hoping.

Yeah, it’s very sad. I guess I just don’t see the point =(, what do they need the WvW exp for? Not one of those skill points is even remotely beneficial when you have such large numbers.

I just wish more people felt the way we do about WvW, that it should be about the actual fight. Not golem rushing and trying to tag enemies for loot.

Hopefully those who do agree with us will at least make an attempt this week and try to pass along the message.

I tag for loot too.. not too long ago ar and ioj were fighting at star in ioj bl. I dove in and hit a few and came out.. and did it again.. then I slapped a mes a few times then went away and collected a few loot bags..lol.. it was fun.

I cant stop laughing at this.. you guys take a camp.. build a golem and if we don’t kill it, you wp it out.. and you somehow think thakittens a secret when we watch you do it. I mean golems don’t just disappear for no reason unless killed or wp back to a no siege spot. also, since its considered a no siege spot and its considered an exploit to build siege behind a no siege spot.. does that mean it would be considered an exploit to build golems and put them back in a no siege spot??

Gotta say I’m pretty disappointed with the roaming this matchup has to offer.

ive had a couple fights but that’s it for this week.. still haven’t ran into you though I don’t think.

watched the FC arrow cart video hoping to be wow’d by some tactics and strategy. but unfortunately nothing there to be excited about. same old stuff really. nothing new, nothing I haven’t seen before. nothing there I haven’t done or been apart of before.
but im not disappointed since its only FC and it is to be expected.

I am kinda disappointed in AR though. it sux ik considering you lost a lot of your wvw player base but still I was expecting to see some new tactics and strategies. although im not on much anymore but was hoping to get a glimpse of something new. I really do miss the old days of GoM vs BP vs AR.

it is also true that mostly our wvw population comes from pve players. when you have a lot of pve’ers from different guilds running in a mindless zerg you get what you see in the FC arrow cart video which is easy kills. odds are they probably didn’t need the arrow cart(s). unfortunately without the pve’ers in wvw we would more than likely be outnumbered and not win as was apparent when we first went to t8 and pve content was out. next week pve players started rolling back into wvw and complaints started coming out making comparisons to fighting SF. but it is what it is I guess.

Truth be told, most of our lot didn’t really start nailing AR until they started rolling stuff in our BL. As for GoM, I got respect for some of your guys – but is there any real need for all this trash talk? Fact is, you and we keep getting stuck with one another because our respective ratings bite. Nothing more, nothing less.

But what do I know? Hell, I’m usually that crazy jagoff rushing teams with just me. Figure I’m going to die/repair/WP anyway, may as well go out Norse-style.

If you TRULY AND HONESTLY BELIEVE that GoM is ONLY focusing FC….please rethink your life. 2) People, it’s a fact of life that zergs exist. For people to whine and moan about how another server has a zerg simply makes them hypocrites. EVERY SERVER HAS ZERGS. I’m curious to know who the SF Major warrior that was roaming around FC’s borderland was today. He appeared to be a full zerker, hitting pretty hard, and then fleeing as good as an ele after downing a guy with other foes nearby. It seemed he liked to run and have a good laugh after doing so.

Was he a male Sylvari with a Legendary GS?

I was at south camp of fc bl a little while ago. a zerker warrior came up to me and downed me.. but he didn’t finish me and went away.. npc guards healed me and I went back to him.. I beat him to within a spit of his life and he ran away. he came back with a necro and I killed the necro. I fought the warrior again and downed him and returned the favor and went away.. he kept trying to come back and get me but couldn’t get me down again.
