It was elite we needed to waste trait on to use properly, it was missing a lot before now its just nothing .

Believe me this nerf, on headbutt , hits wvw the most, and its completely out of order. Feels like whoever decided to do this is complete noob, but thats quite possible since we seen how they “fix and test” epi. Great work indeed.

I feel like they try to ruin current elite classes , so with new expansion u have to go new ones. They will push condi meta now to heaven , ruin power , and then with new elites we will get like perma condi resistance but only if u buy expansion.

I do care for headbutt. In wvw it was kittenty skill on different terrain, and now its just terrible. Why does it deserve nerf ?

Does anyone can clearly say , why power and not condi war needed to get nerf ? Raids dont take power wars, wvw is already quite condi meta, at lest for roamers.
Who’s idea was that making headbutt slugish was good idea ?
And shield bash , just, why ?

I see some funny comments about how war had tons cc, great , lets look , thief burst es capability skills, interrupts , how about chrono almost perma inv, drud supercharged heals and kite , eles insane spike dmg with blinds and mid range kite, and so on.
How about raids, anyone seen power warrior in raids lately , maybe on KC ?

Im looking at this from perspective of wvw, pvp and raids part of game, that most care for , and honestly as person who does all that on multiclass i cant see where this came from. Even before this , my favorite pray with chrono or thief or druid, was slugish wars who u can just annoy a bit , waste their defenses and kill, ez.
Add to this insta kicks for pugs who come as power ps from raids , well u all know that …

Headubtt ruined only “pray to kill” rotation for power war in wvw.
Shield bash, ruined core war and a/sh rotation , also for wvw.
Arc animation is pure stupid now , also quite bad in wvw.
In general just from wvw perspective war is quite ruined. You can afk while it cast skills and still dodge it.

Was anything done on this or we just wont pass to xera this week ?

U know what actually could work too, anet fixing it.
On serious note, if u wipe when entering , you can all spawn fast, run in while he is not respawned yet. After that u need to pray for spirits to be , around boss.

I dunno , i love it ! I even find it far mroe fun than pvp , mainly coz its based on reflexes and actual play more than some passive traits or good/bad balanced skills.

WvW vise , i dont think OP went there, ever ? If he did would see, condi mesmers, thives, druds, and finally eles (skilled ones are unkillable ) eating wars for lolz, if u look at 1v1, but i guess thats where ur “war op” was leading.

Its simple to use really, u just look at warrior trying to use skill, you go get some food, come back and mouse click that bar. Before he goes to cast his next skill u may even get some time to make tea.

Marauder is not option, cele sadly also not since i have no guild . Trying to set DD cele build with mixed other available stats.

I would like to drop my concern, regarding legi armor on charr.
If we take a look on some hint how it will look from experimental envoy, its hmmm, not looking so good.

Armor is ok, but helmet, its hideous. Its small it doesnt cover charr neck, it looks short and too wide.
now if we look at animation and if its going to be similar for charr, it leads to charr head looking terrible and still be , unprotected. Animation will for SURE cut into charr ears or horns…

Whats your concern regarding armor on charr , do you like this helmet animation (really hard to believe anyone do ) and so on.

I agree raids are bad way toward it , mostly coz of ppl who run them, so rude. Anyway tx for effort looks fun. Cheers

Hmm, if i say trapper thief and condi mesmer , all are fine with that ?

As topic tittle say, are there any plans to remove skilless play, aka mesmer/trapper thief, from wvw, or/and completely nerfing condi dmg in wvw ? I dont think any explanation on reasons why skilless play is not welcome in wvw.

This is all great , but, how the hell u can deal with condi heavy opponents ? Main reason i completely left reve out of my roaming sessions, is coz its unable to parry classes like condi thief or condi mesmer.

Am i only one who have issue with it , where glow is not sticking to the eyes of character (in my case, charr) ?

I can see why this can be “good thing for pvp”, but in pve and wvw with that, i still dont see why. In pve (raids/fractals) engi is mostly considered low dps and not bringing enough to the team. For those that pug its quite known u will not get invite for any raid except maybe VG, and even VG require you to be condi.
In wvw, targets are not dumb mobs and will move dodge, and mostly completely avoid dmg from it. Druids for example are mobile insane dmg and srsly op heal with hides and significant pet dmg (also range, not close to player). Mesmer condi meta, range insane condi , mesmer kitten heal/dmg over the top.
I could go on on wvw part but thing is i REALLY dont see how is this close combat addition to dps that was already low, smart choice.
Lastly, i wish to bring my engi to wvw and pve(fract/raid) a bit more , but i really dont see how anymore.

PS.
For those that think wvw/pve ppl are wrong, link us please any competent raid/fractal running one or god forbid , two, engi. Hell, is there even any more engi roamers anymore ?

So i wanted to ask simple question. I like engi in wvw and pve , but dmg wise they are not so , great . Now, i like scrapper hammer builds most and from my exp it wasnt op . So from where came this idea to nerf skill shock shield? Am i missing something here ?

I may been a bit hars on ppl selling raids , but i still think its bad. When person buy raid it does not contribute to raid but worse does not contribute to himself. Even worse, it leads to ppl having tonic or w/e but are completely dumbfounded doing matt , sloth or so.
I personally dont care if anet say , here 50k gems is legi armor , buy it, it does not affect me or my effort toward it. But when i lfg and i find 150+ li ppl not know what is corruption or what is poison on mat for example , and ruining raid it affect me a lot.
So here is why i see one more reason for less li for armor as fine – me and likes of me who pug raid but wish to play with skilled ppl, would have less of problem get ok team.
In general when i sit and think, main reason that i hate raiding lately is li req, little to no skilled players pretending to know leading to fail.
So ye i dont care if ppl get free legi as far as i care but if i can have fun getting mine.

So maybe some will not agree but i have issue with viper mesmers. In general main issue is condi with quite good shatter dmg and really good escapability on them. What you do with them ?

As a pug raider with a bit over 100 li i can say i seen this a lot of times, and my xp is its really common. To add to this from just today i joined to help gorse run coz when im done my runs i like to help when i cant wvw, so i joined raid and on start ofc i can link all and was fine. Two ppl joined and whwn linked 12 and 24 li got insta kicks. I asked why . We dont need bad players . How he know they are bad ? I left coz i cant look like that. Joined other run 30 min after, vg . As i was back on my war and it wasnt ps set i didnt look at all . Same thing , someonw linked 48 li , kick . Both time there was no xxx li in lfg set . Ok i stay coz some ppl were nice in and we killed it. I realized then, kicked person was ps . He linked asc gear with pref runes scholar, i used str. I wasnt even ps , just useless dps . He got kicked and i was left in coz “tonic” i was skilled.
So in general i was really not helping much , and it was ok but some poor person who would help more for sure got kick coz low li. Shame on me but also really shame on how thigs go for pugs. My 2c

Are we awoiding fact that this li may be Borring as hell to some ppl ? I personally wonder how much would pve ppl cry if legi back was only to be pvp item? Would u then complain. Main reason most ppl from pvp and wvw part game have to ask less li is fact raids are bad , no skill needed , same rotation all time and no fun. Yes pvpers also wish set too. I honestly wish that future accs legis are wvw or pvp only . Will u then come here QQ a lot u dont like that mod ? Im sure 100% some of u i know , will .

I just wanted clear pointer that u guys give – it doesnt matter if players have skills to do raids or not , all that matters ppl who opose this is as was stated , “we have 150, u dont so we dont wish you to have”. All this talk how armors are for skilled is bollox , say clealry that all you care is others not gettingn armor when u do.

I killed matt 3 times last week, 2 times with ppl who had no tonic. U know what i got for it , nothing but smile for those ppl who got tonic. Shards are not infinite and cant buy all the li. Li is also not representative of skills.

What if we help both sides ?
If we get choice of the xchange shards to li and li to shards , would all not gain ?
Example , 50 shards to 1li, 1li to 25 shards exchange. Both sides gain. Ppl who are not skilled enough for all bosses, will try more even to just gain max shards and in doing so learn more, and skilled ones can gain shards they can use for extra li. Add bonus shards to those who do all bosses weekly, or add like weekly track for it with award on end, hell they did all they deserve some ++++.
Making ppl spend shards on li will also help price of inf not go down too much that also helps pro raiders.
Would this not help all ?
Can we at least tey find solution that goes good for all ?

Many of u relate amount of li to skills , that complete bollox.
Others relete to dedication , this may be but then again its a lot free time or constant team.

Ill ask you question. If u imagine person who is sick and can play focused 1-2h per day max , should we disreggard that person to and say , who cares let him grind for year ? Is this “i have none else should” attitude we see here what community of players is ?

Killed Matt this weekend 3x . All 3 runs helped random lfg groups. Before that spent lfg for sab for 5h and no kill. So in general, helping others do raid leads to no progress on li , and not been able to pug for sab makes me , nob ? This does not happen static teams since they dont redo raids (mostly) and cant get in bad pug. Those who solo q spvp know how upsetting this solopugging is. Make matt give more li or sloth, trio or escort less , but as it is its just really not good.

Tomorrow we will have 150 li its fine ! Epen is really strong on some ppl here.

Anyway since “epic pro” raiders here dont know lfg exist u can ignore this. Rest have some laugh, i guess ….

Why do you guys who farm raids feel so special now whwn u have 100+ li ? U do understand no matter what , other players must do collections to so li is just literally pointless grind that would keep them away from more fun things they wish to do in gw2, wvw, pvp maybe , rp ? Those ppl have all right to get armor if they put work to collection and only thing that stops them is pointless grind.

Ps. Just to be clear on one thing most players here , who are fine on 150 li are fine coz they have it or in some cases , sell raids. U can just check them and all is quite clear. Epen thing.

I play this game for fun aince beta. I manage to do all ls , jps, liadri, and many many other mods of game. Got even to 25k ap just by having fun. Now , reading some comments here i feel sad to see how inability of some of us to live gw2 should put us down , is sad. But let me ask , what would anyone lose looking at someone else gaining that , something ? Is your legendary less worth to you if you see me having same ? Is your world better if you are one who have everything looking down on others having little to nothing ? Is this game or simulation of rl?

I am player who is really ill rl. I like to play raids but i cant take part to pro raid guild , due to rl “rotation” . I manage to get 3-4 li per week if try hard. Should i also give up on legi armor coz im not capable of following the pace. I wish i could have chance but this number i know is to much for me. Its just how i feel wanted to say , wish u all gl.

I have a problem getting to Matt raid. I did previous wings constantly , got eternal and went away for a some time. Now i each week kill w1 , do w2 sloth/trio but i cant get into matt raids due to lack of tonic.
One solution ppl have is , go buy raid and have it then do it each week. But what if i cant afford it ?
I do know how Matt works i run it several times trying to organize myself . I could not lie to ppl so i said no tonic required. In this case new ppl join but unable to do it.
What to do, where to look for help and how ?

Im quite ill in RL so i cant also join pro pve guild due to inability to spend much time online and thats usually required.

With those pets I’d probably go zephyr’s speed over beastly warden. I’d swap sick em to guard ( unless you are running into a bunch of mesmers) and I don’t really understand your choice of gear and food. Why all the condi duration? Other than that it looks pretty good.
