Well….I could go on for days about the multiple reasons I felt dissatisfied with this game, but I’m quite sure it won’t fit within the character limit. Essentially, all of the players that could truely provide me with a challenge had left the game. I was also called to become a legend in a new game, much like Helseth tried to do. The only difference is that I succeeded in becoming one of the best players in the world: in yet another game. I made my legend here in this game, but now I have already begun a new challenge.

Alright enough hyping this meta Mesmer build. Try it out for yourself. Even if you’ve never played mesmer lmao you can literally button mash with Helseth’s build and replicate what he has xD. Easiest +1 build in the game. Just make a character, buy sword shield and staff and click the build selector and choose the one at top. All ready to go, enjoy easy application of confusion and torment along with other condis. Never realized just how easy Moa is. Every game we all meet our counter. But with this its easy just stack condis and moa then do some emote to make them angry at their slow death. I even played my first game shirtless as mesmer. It’s kind of made for allowing shirtless, mindless play. Almost rewards it

I’d give him credit if his build literally wasn’t copy pasted within the game. You can verify all of this yourself lmao. Mesmer is the EASIEST class to play with. Now what other class can replicate the copy pasted mesmer build? I honestly wouldn’t know. I spend most of my time theory crafting legendary off-meta techniques, I guess, as a challenge.

Yea look at me everyone, I relied on confusion and moa, the most broken spell in the game, to carry teams. Therefore I proved that ELO hell doesn’t exist. I mean, I could totally do it again on any of your builds, but I’d rather just stick with using by far the easiest class and build in the game despite losing easily to players of my own caliber. Simple math my lad: constantly taunting my enemies into 1v2 and 1v3 combat leaves my team the advantage. If you were on my team and lost, it’s simply because you can’t win your 1v1’s lmao. But sure, not winning 1v1’s is a pretty good tactic I guess, I’ll work on that one for you.

However, I can’t really assign much significance to your opinion. Last night I 1v2 dueled a world champion and had that same world champion hiding behind a pillar at less than 25% hp. I 1v2’d this world champion WHILE emoting and speaking, per my usual play style. So before offering me your opinion, do tell me how many world champions have you sent hiding in a 1v2?

I honestly didnt know that EU and NA had legit beef. So hearing some of the top level players in the game kind of messing with one another is a interesting find.

LMAO dude….there is no beef at all lel. Honestly, EU pros are better than MOST of NA’s pros. But this meme was only valid before I returned. I even switched to EU servers to repeatedly prove how good I was. I dueled a world champion 1v2 and nearly beat him. Had him down below 25% hp and he had a warrior helping. My apologies for repeatedly emoting him.

But it’s all fun and games for me. I don’t hate any EU players or the NA abusers. This is only because I know what true skill is in the game and it cannot be beaten by any 1 player. Anet, while creating many low skill builds, has still retained the element of skill. So I honestly think if you are exceptionally skilled, you will earn your way.

Oh and more on the quote from LH….yea he’s a bit full of himself. I won’t say much to spoil it, but I’ll be in the finals this year and given how my 1v2 went with one of his teammates, I can’t say that I’ll have much of a contest.

Yea ESL pro’s might be better than the NA pro’s (besides me), but I just moved over to EU servers and to be honest, it’s much easier for me than in NA. This EU>NA meme is old and outdated lmao. I’m currently the best pixel for pixel fighter in the game and I’ve proven it repeatedly.

Yea if you’re bad. I really don’t get this hype about Eles. Unless its a full heal/support ele, then I literally have no problem defeating them. If its full heal, then the fight won’t end because I’d end up killing their teammate and then its 1v1 with the full heal ele which is just kinda boring. I’d likely lose interest before it ends.

Your stats don’t mean anything to me at all. I’ve fought thousands of players, thousands of different attempts, attitudes, strategies. I’ve bested them all and I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been left on the tail end in the past 4 years playing this game. Sure I talk a lot, but I best too lot. Btw I did join an EU weekly before I realized it was EU. Once I found out, I considered switching over but everyone said the lag would be unplayable. 1) I placed in gold, kept queuing with nubs. Now that I’ve started duo q’ing, only lost once. And that was with a bad 3.
2) Both me and my duo partner are able to carry fights. I was actually herding zergs most of the night and fighting off multiple enemies.
3) during that one loss with 3 baddies, i was constantly fighting 3 to 4 due to the fact that they knew who I was and immediately targetted me so sure I die pretty quick when stun locked by an herd of tryhards lmao.

If that video in your signature is you, then it’s a kittening joke just like this thread. In the part you talk about you 1v2 them in unranked for a minute or so without killing either, just to have two of your teammates get them from behind and nuke them.

I’ve literally caused most of the major nerfs to druid. I was one of those ruining WvW during HoT launch. I’m the reason sig of renewal and sig of energy got nerfed. Being forced to carry npc’s every ranked game has required me to increase my skill even more. It’s made me develop new builds with new strategies. Oh yea and how can you point out that I’m playing in unranked then go on to complain about how I’m not capping? And don’t forget to look at how old the video was. This was back when everyone, even the pros, were playing unranked due to no season being active. Matchmaking isn’t anywhere near perfect, would be much better if class stacking did not exist. The term “skill” rating should be accurately changed to “win” rating since win/loss ratio is literally the only metric that your skill is based on for the leaderboards. What is the point of getting 5 top stats every game? Imagine a system where getting literally every top stat the game has to offer and losing results in no lost pips. Imagine being stuck with pve players, carrying them to a close loss and being credited for your work? That would be an accurate representation of the word skill.

All we get right now are pretentious top ranked players employing condescending tones due to their “win” rating. While most of the PVP regulars are stuck playing games with the skill equivalent of npc’s. Calling them out has often resulted in my posts being removed, yet I haven’t seen many of their condescending posts even edited. Watch my video below and 2 minutes in you see me 1v2 against two meta users: a DH and a Warrior. Both are quite easy classes to use and both are quite capable of literally shredding players with their invulns, dazes, traps and conditions. Both are low risk high reward classes yet I was not matched in skill. Taking on two metas repeatedly requires skill and this is what is missing from the leaderboards.

Anyone can claim the players in my video are terrible, but before season 5, I probably had some of the highest possible MMR. I literally started playing shirtless at some point. The reason I am the best isn’t because of winning however, the reason I am the best is because I can defeat any two players. This skill cannot be applied in the current season. There isn’t one pro in the entire world that can consistently carry a team of 4 npc’s. So before the trash prententiousness comes into MY thread, before you even consider talking, just know that I could beat two copies of you. That is all

Not even close to before. At least before, everyone started from the same division. Reducing the game to duo q only benefits the pro players. I am an exception because I’ve quite literally kittened off just about every good player. Doubt I’ll find someone worth q’ing with. But I’m not really complaining at all, just laughing really.

Ppl in legendary have this elitist attitude as if they are indeed legends lmao. But they are usually just carried hard to legendary because they care too much about skins. I’ve found the most challenging players usually end up in Ruby getting and losing pips evenly due to the 50% chance of getting q’d with carried novices.

I’m not really sure what all this fuss about “skill rating” is. First off how does that mechanic even work? How do you measure someone’s skill completely without individually watching them in action? Is a player that caps more and engages in 2v1’s truly more skilled than the player holding off 3 by himself while preventing a cap? Lmao my problem with going down this path is that people will use the leaderboard to claim who is and who isn’t skilled. But if you ask me, being able to kill two players out of 3 that are fighting you by yourself is a much better skill rating than capping and defending.

I suggest possibly changing that mechanic to TEAM skill rating. There is only one way to measure skill in this game and it’s in 1v2 wager duels.

Conquest is still a team game. Skill rating should be seen as how good your ability to work with a team is. I don’t care if you won every 1v2, did you win the game? Winning the game is literally all that matters, that’s the metric, it’s the only thing they use.

So if you have a high skill rating then yes that means you’re good at conquest, that’s what the metric is. We all know the rules and the mechanics behind the game mode, now do what you have to to win it.

Getting carried, thus winning, does not make you more skilled. So if you get carried to the leaderboard, how are you a top 100 player when you can’t even kill the bottom 100 with ease? And you should care about 1v2’s. If you did the math, you’d realize that e winning a 1v2 means that my team is playing 4v3. That does lead to wins. But why should someone on my team have the same skill rating increased for simply winning? They don’t have my impact nor my skill. I’m in the top .01% of players because true skill is being able to finish fights. The game is a fighting game, not a turn based raise your hand and talk about feeling game. The best team is one that has players that finish fights. 5 fighters beat 5 flighters any day of the even on a Sunday

It’s only for EU wish they made like an EU pvp forum. Tired of seeing a lack of global tournaments but then again, I’d dominate them completely. I can see that being a bad move for anyone beyond myself

Look, there was a poll and the community voted. Maybe you and your friends you q with should’ve made your opinions valid when it counted; literally counted. I’m happy premades won’t be a thing anymore. A very significant portion of those in diamond and legendary were carried there by pre-mades. If they are truely skilled, this q restriction changes nothing for them. I find that most players complaining about not being about to q with teams completely rely on premades to even be relevant in pvp. Sad, but comical.

Is a player that caps more and engages in 2v1’s truly more skilled than the player holding off 3 by himself while preventing a cap? Lmao my problem with going down this path is that people will use the leaderboard to claim who is and who isn’t skilled. But if you ask me, being able to kill two players out of 3 that are fighting you by yourself is a much better skill rating than capping and defending.

I suggest possibly changing that mechanic to TEAM skill rating. There is only one way to measure skill in this game and it’s in 1v2 wager duels.

I’d actually be willing to do a camp as long as we all got paid gold. This game is simple: evade. You cannot counter evasion.

And if anyone is still exaggerating the effectiveness of DH’s, watch my video below @4:21 where I literally obliterate a DH without even trying.

I don’t think so. There are few players like me that completely change the viability of a build simply because of our skill. My builds all rely on split second reflexes and dodging. If a player isn’t capable of predicting the movements and tactics of 2-3 players simultaneously, then they cannot replicate my build. TLDR: to assume that you can take a pro’s build and be just as effective is unrealistic and in some situations, outright laughable.

You ever heard of quitting the q and requeuing? Fixes that problem and it’s been that way since I can remember. I have really good memory btw, just to put that previous statement into context.

I can’t help but laugh at players complaining about unranked match results. I play unranked simply to fight players. Whether my team wins or loses doesn’t matter to me at all. Nothing is at stake whatsoever lmao those same people that take unranked so seriously barely progess past Ruby during seasons, let alone make it to Pro Leagues. Luckily for the pros, I wasn’t active for ToL. Otherwise, druids would’ve been nerfed again and my main ammy would be taken out of the game, again.
