I love the current customizable music option we have:
Ambient, Battle, BossBattle
City, Crafting, Defeated,
MainMenu, NightTime, Underwater

But I would enjoy if it were a litle more complex, like this:

Ambient
Their should be multiple ambient folders each for all available area’s such as Queensdale, Kessex Hills, Metrica Province, etc.

Night Time
The same could be done as the ambient but lighter as we would only need major zones, such as Kryta, Tarnished Coast, Ruins of Orr, etc.

City
I belive this should be split into six dividing all the major cities and ignoring ambient/nighttime.

HotM
Some people spend several hours in this location and frankly, not much music is played there.

SPvP
This is a must.

TPvP
This would be enjoyable.

PvPBattle
This is a must.
Why do we need this? Any PvPer can agree 99% of the time a PvP battle is more intense then any dungeon/bossbattle. So we can bind intense music respectively.

Battle
Unchanged.

BossBattle
Add random feature.

All three Battle systems should interrupt the music that was playing and resume 3~7seconds after leaving combat.

Dungeon
Several folder’s including all current available dungeons such as CoF, CoE, SE, etc.

Crafting
Removed or updated to work properly.

Defeated
Unchanged.

MainMenu
Add random feature.

Underwater
Unchanged

Events and Living world such as WintersDay, Super adventure Box, Shadow of the Mad King, etc, DO NOT need to be customizable as they are limited time and ANet puts effort into these every week rather then an area which can be untouched for months/years.

A player in the game accessible via “Sound options” to skip tunes and see names of tunes would be luxury~

karma is harder to get than gold and mf (you have luck for that one), and the infusion will affect every source except potions.

Of course they, but the point of ugly ascended gear is to get players to buy transmutation crystals. Just like the reason why fractals have no armor repair points, so players buy repair canisters.

The devs have said before why they won’t allow this. They don’t want go give people the ability to gift stuff to people and in the process possibly learn about their accounts. Something about potential hackers being able to gift upgrades to people to try and “fish” for people who have more upgrades on their account, or something. Send out a bunch of bank upgrades, find the people who can’t receive any more, and target those accounts with your hack attempts, something like that.

Sounds kind of silly to me, but it is what it is and for that reason it’ll probably never happen.

Dear hackers. I have no account upgrades, but 600 gold, many skins, resources etc! Please send me any gifts from BLTC and then hack me, thank you.

i was just coming here to post about this issue. it seems lame that you can’t buy account upgrades for friends. i just wanted to buy the “Collection Expander” upgrade for a friend that does a lot of gathering, but then was disappointed when i found out i couldn’t. Especially since i only realised this after i spent the RL money to buy the gems to do it >.<

Holiday event, hooray! It’s a shame the thing you just added to the gem store, the collections expander, can’t be gifted. I would actually buy three of them for myself with my real money and gift a few to a friend if I could, but they’re just not worth it without the ability to gift them.

Can you please turn the flag “on” for allowing them to be gifted? If people overbuy them for their friends, they can just open a support ticket. Most would look into this ahead of time anyway to make sure they’re not wasting it.

Don’t get me wrong…I thought the new pvp show “ready up” by anet was absolutely great and I look forward to seeing it more. One thing that upset me though, is how easy it was for the devs to duel each other in the heart of the mists. Power and Karl dueled in the heart of the mists by the golems to demonstrate new healing skills. In order to duel, all karl had to do was enter ONE LINE OF CODE!!!!!

This is unacceptable because we have been begging for dueling since the game launched and even beta. Every other major mmo has dueling everywhere in the pve world, except maybe cities but they allow dueling right out front which gives people a lot to do in their spare time. The fact that they can just enter one line of code and duel each other sickens me….it is pure laziness that dueling has not been added to this mmo yet. Dueling should be done by the skills and balance/pve team so the pvp team wouldn’t have to worry about it. It would give people a lot to do while waiting for queues/screwing around etc.

Please implement dueling….I am very sad after seeing the devs do it so easily when we wait over a year and still no talk of dueling…

Typical ANet customer support. Rest assured, they read all our concerns; they just don’t answer the ones that are 1) legitimate and 2) time-sensitive, especially if it results from an error on their part (i.e. what is likely yet another lack of attention to detail typo). Or maybe they just don’t know the answer themselves!

Logic would dictate that the season ends tomorrow at its normal time, because that’s when WvW matchups end, but unfortunately, logic cannot be relied upon. It has happened before where an event was listed as ending on a certain day, but in actuality ended at some random time the day before. I would finish it asap, simply because logic won’t offer much comfort when you miss the achievement.

As far as I can tell, everything that inflicts toxic pollen does so rather frequently in a large area, which makes removing it quite weak. Temporary pollen immunity on the spray would make it a much better counter to the pollen.

I don’t like the idea of toxic pollen making you vulnerable to enemy attacks, though; it’s already a fairly complicated effect, and I would prefer to see the Anti-Toxin Spray being useful without feeling mandatory.

Anti-Toxin spray is really lousy. It removes several conditions and heals people based on what was removed, but the trade-offs are just too high. Also, it never really felt “necessary” the way Agony resistance is necessary. I think it’d be cool if Anti-Toxin spray gave temporary immunity (like 10 seconds) to Toxic Pollen on you and everyone around you. Then, make it so certain “gatekeeper” enemies did extra damage to you if you had Toxic Pollen on you. Suddenly, it starts being that much more appealing.

OK.

So, it might be really useful from our point of view to hear about the pillars of the LW that have often been mentioned and the reasoning as to why we went to such a hectic 2 week schedule completely out of the blue. It’s pretty tight from our playing point of view (for example the TA meta which was also removed after 2 weeks despite being advertised for October) and it often feels we’re playing to a set schedule – one that doesn’t take into account that we all play to different speeds, styles and timescales. In fact its very design appears to assume that we all invest identical amounts and should someone miss a 2 week chapter, the chances of them going along with the rest of the story is lessened.

It also feels you guys are suffering under the workload and pressure which risks content being released before it’s refined. For example, not having any way of tracking the story or catching up with what is going on. I know this being worked on, but we risk going into a year’s LW cycle without it being implemented and I’d have expected LW to launch with it.

I’m also seeing it shut out so many new players. My impression was the Living World would be just that, new content to evolve the world, not simply a story cut into chapters which doesn’t appear to link together at each stage. Tequatl (despite its pitfalls as a too difficult open world raid) was closer to what I expected the LW would be. Potentially the upcoming tower too.

A LW is admirable aim – one I would expect could be better accomplished by fleshing out the existing strengths and unique flavour of the world you launched with incl;

1) Additional DE’s or ones changing/being replaced to reflect the changing world

2) DRagons. OK not them directly, but dragon minions aren’t currently posing a threat. A LW would develop them a lot more. The invasions are good example, but they currently lack motive or reason. They would work so well for minion attacks

3) The World is meant to move on, yet some things haven’t changed at all (Charr/Human peace treaty in the tent outside Ebonhawke. A mini story could be going on here and there could be a whole “where were you when the treaty was signed” rp kind of thing.)

4) Underwater. I love it…but as many thread stated, it needs improvements to mechanics and maybe even a UW heavy zone.

I have been playing Guild Wars 2 for a little while now, but am still very much a noob. However, this post is not about that. My three year old daughter loves Super Adventure Box. When it first debuted, we played it every day. When it went away, every day we got on the computer, she’d ask me if Super Adventure Box was working. Now that it’s back, we’ve been playing every day. The first day we played for eight hours. Healthy? Probably not, however, Super Adventure Box is more than just a game for us. It’s a tool that allows her to learn problem solving, critical thinking, and coordination. She can work on numbers (in Pain Cliffs we synchronize hitting the number 9 to push the logs). When things go wrong, she used to get very upset and start panicking. Now, she calmly figures out what she can do to get out of the “gooey water” or get out of rushing rapids. She used to sit on my lap and play with me, she’d steer and I’d control the mouse (her hands aren’t quite big enough to do the keyboard and mouse at the same time.), but now she plays on her dad’s computer while I play on mine. We just finished Rushing Rapids on normal mode (usually we play on easy for her sake), and are attempting to tackle Pain Cliffs. I just wanted to say thank you to the developers of Super Adventure Box. You have made my daughter’s life complete, and have assisted in teaching her some valuable skills. Who knew an April Fool’s joke could be so beneficial? ArenaNet rocks. This is a short video of her playing Rushing Rapids for the first time on normal. Maybe not very impressive to you, but for being three, I think she’s pretty awesome.

We all hate Trahearne (at least 99% do)

Now Anet doesnt want to think of a complex and logical story to make him disappear
but i have a solution

Trahearne falls in love with Scarlet (i guess Sylvaris can have feelings too)
o he does everything for her and her evil plans and we have to stop him and kill him

- we kill him personally
- he doesnt die as a hero but as a villain
- i am the hero for killing the villain and trahearne cant steal me my glory because he was the villain

PLS MAKE IT HAPPEN
i want to kill this piece of wood since since ages
he is always acting like he is the saviour while actually not helping at all…

and i want to kill every npc that said something like: “oh, good that trahearne just showed up in time to save us all” while i have been fighting for 30 minutes to defend something from the risen….

Yes, i agree. Why this option there? Anet don’t feel this is important. That is not an error, or something like that. Over a year that option is there. They don’t feel this is urgent. But this is urgent!

But with party list have more other problems.
- Frequently enough you can not invite your guild mates from chat window.
- You can not kick members when you are in WvW.

A member in our Guild accidentally kicked another member from the guild, through the party list, while trying to kick him from the party because he was offline, without even realizing it.

It is a function that really shouldn’t be there, more so not directly next to the kick party member function, considering there is no confirm message either.

Keep Guild kick, for the guild window.

It will be insanely hard to balance.

There are no healers. So if you get focus fired, you will die. The meta will all be about burst and huge DPS.

Removing downstate will destroy the feel of combat.

What about increasing the 75% hp reward? every time i try we fail but we did get him to 75% couple of times but the reward is low. a green and 1silver the same you get for killing trash mobs.

Hey there.

I’m one of the people that managed to defeat the taco a few times now and I’ve noticed that the rewards you get from him aren’t worthwhile considering the difficulty of even organizing a group of people to do his event without failing.

Now I know there must have been a few suggestion like nerfing him or even adding a reward even for failing him.

However my suggestion doesn’t include any of those(keep him the way he is now, his event is really fun!):

Add a Daily Token system for defeating taco(kind of like fractals with pristine fractal relics only you can get ONLY 1 a day for defeating him, unlike fractals which the amount you can get depends on your fractal lvls).
Also the NPC that you can trade those tokens to will only spawn on servers(or overflows) that taco have been beaten on(and will disappear when taco’s event is active and won’t spawn until taco is defeated again) much like the temple events with their karma vendors that spawn on the end of their respective event chains.
The items that you can trade the tokens for could be any of the following:
*Taco’s unique skins(skin version without stats or like the fractal weapons that require transmutation, but you can add the Ascended version as well for a much higher token requirement of course ;D)-by adding this option(much like the Aetherized weapons which had 2 possible ways to getting them) people will have a reason to keep doing his event and be happy with their rewards(even if what they get from the chests isn’t good) because they can have a goal even after they have gotten their Sunbringer title and not hoping they have luck with RNG.
*Exotic armors(with the recent karma nerf this can be a nice alternative instead of going and searching for events in order to karma or doing dungeons)
*Ascended accessories such as the ones you get with Guild Commendations(by this adding an alternative for smaller guilds or newer ones) OR Infused Rings(adding an option to get infused rings for those that don’t do much or like fractals, however should be harder to get then the uninfused ones that you can get with laurels).
*Special minis(not sure which ones so go ahead and add ones).
*Special Consumables(like a potion of undead slaying that gives 15% extra defense and damage).
*Recipe for the new Superior Rune of the Sunless that has been added(not sure if a recipe already exists so correct me if I’m wrong).
*Bundle items(that only work on taco) that can help killing taco for next time you do his event(like a bundle of 5 super weapons that damage him twice as much or at least x1.5 damage as you do with a regular weapon seeing as you can’t critical him anyways-1 weapon per taco event only-can be done by adding a cooldown debuff like the transformation tonic that you get from Clockwork Chaos, for 3 tokens per bundle)- that way people will have a reason to get this for easier token getting and can be like an investment towards easier achievement of future rewards from taco and will also make taco easier for low pop servers(and overflows) that need to rely on bigger servers to guest(as this item should be tradeable with its full uses only), that way there can be more then 1 person with this weapon during an event. Also this solves the problem for some of the Condition builds with its current and very annoying(sorry but it’s true) limitations.
*Empyreal Fragments for people that don’t want to grind dungeons for them or are not good at jumping puzzles(this is an opinion of mine only, can be discarded if deemed that it isn’t needed).
*New boosters or material bags like the ones you get with laurels.
*I’ve cracked my mind for all those possible rewards and don’t have any more ideas so please feel free to add to the list xD.

The only problem is figuring out how many tokens will be needed for every item(but it’s probably better leaving it to ANET to decide if they even will add this system to taco xD)

By adding this Token reward system people won’t feel that they aren’t being rewarded for doing hard stuff and continue doing it even if they didn’t get any luck with the RNG on the chests. Also it will give people the incentive to continue doing his event after getting his title(which currently is the main reason why people are still doing his event at the moment). Also this will probably let the event stay alive after all the hype is over considering what people are saying that the event will die in a few weeks(which I really hope doesn’t considering how fun it is)

After all this have been said I think the event was totally fun and I’m having a great time continue doing this event to help people get his title(and by doing that getting new records on how much I killed him and how fast xD), a very good addition to the game(and I hope ANET does this for other world bosses as well)
