Wanna double team? Well if you’d asked me, I wouldn’t mind. It just makes it more interesting for me, i’m not pvdoor player. And i got 3k kills per evening. Better than ive ever done. Lots of upscaled meat. Even in bls. But its a real challenge when its 1x vs 2x or 1x vs 3x situation.
So I dont really care if its double teaming or not. But if so… Does it make it interesting for Viz? Would it be true victory feeling when you win like this? Questions. Tonight in our TS someone offered to send a spy to viz TS. But Klm said a right thing: we dont wanna win like this. Even if we had no chance to win then.
Is it really victory or death for you? Seems like times when we pm to Troma about hackers took keep and he gave it back to us are gone (over the top example but u got the message). I miss them.
If we end the 3rd I would congratulate Viz: they win the league’s gold. But it definitely would leave bad taste in our mouths if there’s something dirty behind the scenes.

Bomb Kit is amazing in WvW big fights. It’s absolutely a must have. I use it in combo with the Toss Elixir B stability and Rifle jump to be immediately in the middle of the enemy zerg.
Before the radius was only 120 (and the area 1/4 of what we have now) and was really difficult to hit someone.
So can you stop whining for Eb on Sfr I have the best solution WT get away back in the bushes and keep silence…. Anet kittened up enough with the transfers with the leagues and kitten to have now people whining on official forums… If you dont like it or cant live it transfer….What is happening is bandwagonning because Sfr didnt want to slack so now you live with what you want that is….
And yes this noobs are bad my god so bad jsut unreal. But the quality on other servers is not better anyway.
God we are so bad nowdays. Warriors don’t even use hammers. I actually saw some sfr warrior who did use mace/shield and tried to stunlock some upscaled in zerg fight. Almost reported that dude for botting.

We’ve recently begun work on finding a reasonable space to accommodate the desires of players in World vs. World who wish to participate in organized, large-scale battles. We have decided to add an area to the Obsidian Sanctum jumping puzzle that is large enough to fit the fights and is removed from the entrances to facilitate some of the basic rules that are used during these fights. In addition, we will be disabling the borderlands bloodlust buff inside the map so that the players will be on a relatively even playing field. Finally, to make it easier to get to the map, we’ll be adding the map to the dropdown menu of WvW maps, allowing you to enter it from anywhere in the game. The space being added is really amazing and I think you are all going to enjoy battling it out in there if it is your preferred way to play. We decided to put this area in the jumping puzzle with the hopes of providing a space for people who wish to play the game this way to be able to do so without causing friction between them and other players who wish to focus on the other aspects of the game in WvW.
Guild vs. Guild is a gametype that has a lot of potential and one that we would never do anything but the best possible version of. That version, if it comes, will have to wait until the resources are available to build it. This change is an attempt to provide a workable solution in a timely manner, one that will ease some of the conflict that we have seen arise on the forums and in the game. WvW is an incredibly successful and engaging part of our game. It will continue to be a major focus for us as a studio and we will continue to put our effort into changes that are in the best interests of WvW as a gametype and the WvW community as a whole.
As is our practice, we won’t be releasing this until it is ready to go.

I am of the opposite opinion. I used a healing bomb build for months. I have found that FT is much better for leading.
When you are driving you are not the AoE DPS-er. Leave that to your necros and eles. Your sole role is to be tanky and stay up in a fight, in the middle of melee sometimes. Build for that. Bombs will not really help you stay up in a fight. Bombs have that annoying detonation delay. There is NOTHING comparable to FT #5 insta-cast blind.

Super Elixir is key. When its on CD use blocks, cc’s smoke ect. If you have regen, kit, elixir and stacks managed at same time you will get about 4k HP/s for self and about 3k for party.

- PvDor is now illegal ( that would hurt )
- new sigil /food / minor trait ( +20 % damage to SFR players – 20% from SFR players)
I am asking this in all serious because of the following reasons.
1. Turrets are still broken. – Bugs from all sides, terrible health and still being one-shot by any real form of aoe.
2. Celestial gear- This is almost perfect for the idea of playing an engineer, Takes 2-3 months to farm a whole set….. through crafting.
3. Our downed skills- Pretty week and not viable in almost any situation due to bugs, LoS issues and generally everyone having some form of stability/immunity to our abilities. Even mobs are teaming up to block us some times.
4. The lack of consistent stability- no explanation needed.
5. The Ranged Weapons- We suffer from the horrible mechanic of reflected projectiles, but our only standard weapons choices are all ranged based. Also our ranged abilities have very little range (pre-trait) even then the only part with range is rifle #1.
side note I know we will be getting new weapons in the future. Also all the abilities on them are pretty poor, Condi pistols? with around 1 second of conditions on each weapon(pre condi duration) meaning we can have maybe 3 seconds? It’s a little bit under powered.
6. Champion weapons skins/Legendary weapons skins- There is no pistol skins in the new champion loot bags. The rifle skins are nice, but half of them are from WvW. Also we are being looked into for the legendary issue. but I still see it as annoying.
7. limited backpack skins and being told they’ll fix them now- This is great and a nightmare at the same time. If this was announced in Flame and frost I would’ve spent hours farming the backpack skin. I didn’t because there was no point as I would never see it as I mainly use kits.
8. The Nerf hammer- Other classes have been smashing PvP, PvE and WvW for almost a year now. As soon as an Eng joins them it seems those classes scream out and the nerf hammer comes crashing down. Meaning we as a community are to afraid to help each other as we think “OMG I have found this great build, oh if i tell everyone it might get nerfed. better keep quiet” Whether this is intentional (which we know it isn’t) or not. It seems our build diversity of great builds is slowly disappearing. Nerfing one build does affect others.
Now the engineer class has some great mechanics, game play and all round awesomeness, It’s just the little things that could be improved in general.
We do appreciate the work Anet put in but we are feeling a little left behind.
If any of this could be looked into I think the community as a whole would be happy bunnies.

Already got my 2500 point achievement, and I didn’t even try, it happened while playing and I’m still not bored of it :P
The best mini game yet, surpassing Sanctum Sprint and Super Adventure Box.
It has almost no flaws – no problems with teams, no afkers, no people joining late, no pointless waiting. It is a huge difference from the Battle Royale we had in beta, a big improvement. I like that it copies the Hunger Games, it really works well, all the weapons and pickups.
So yeah, I’m usually pretty critical of everything but can’t find a flaw in this one.. unless that I want it to be permanent and it will probably be locked away again
Oh yeah – I love the karkas, they are a big adrenaline rush near the end – monsters that are actually fearsome and deadly. Please don’t nerf them.

You kittens don’t even know what the prefix “meta” means.
I was thinking they might give us another “category” of skills instead of expanding on the current ones.
We have four categories: elixirs, gadgets, turrets, and kits. Each of these categories has five skills in it. However, every other profession has five categories of skills, each with four skills in them.
It was possibly set up this way because engineer was the last profession made and it was no feasible to have a fifth category in the amount of time they had, or maybe they felt the kits would make up for not having another category. At any rate, it’s inconsistent with the design for other professions. So it could be that we’ll get some sort of new category of skills with the associated traits, whereas other professions will focus more on expanding the existing ones so that everything is consistent between engg utilities and other professions.
On the other hand, most people would probably find that boring, so maybe they’ll just expand the existing categories.
I would like if there was a frostthrower – an ice-based, defensive version of the flamethrower. Maybe even via traits (it could add that functionality to the flamethrower, making it so you can swap the functionality via the toolbelt). The autoattack could chill, the second attack could shoot a frozen ball that shatters on impact (dealing a strong single hit on impact and some lesser damage via aoe), the third attack could be the same as air blast (but since it shoots cold air, it would extend chill), the fourth attack could make you place an ice wall that blocks passage with a little ice field (let’s say, 4s duration) that melts into a water field (2s). And the last attack, well, dunno…maybe it could shoot the refrigerator liquid around in a sort of player-centered AoE, creating a poddle that damages enemies while they stay there.
Assuming it was implemented with the “toggle” method i mentioned above, juggernaut’s effect may be different as well when the frostthrower is toggled up. It could give 2s protection every 5s, for example, to emphatize the defensive nature of the weapon.
The cooldowns would be indipendent for the two weapons, but since you toggle them via the toolbelt you would still have to wait for it to be charged up.
In the latest content preview they mentioned upcoming new skills for every profession, though thats was as specific as they went. And as much as I would love to know what is in store for us, they wont tell us yet, so on the bright side that gives us time for speculation!
A dev mentioned a long time ago that they were thinking of making a portal-like skill for engies, which could be cool and unique if engies could build two gates that allies could travel thru and could stay up as long as turrets do….though with the offside that they could be attacked and destroyed by enemies.
More kits! Chainsaw kits…whips…gatling guns…the engie forums has had plenty of sweet ideas with weapons that could be a blast to play! Might we ever see one of them come true? I certainly hope so!

If you don’t want people farming in this game please nerf them all the farming spots and not just everything but CoF.
Honestly, you nerf and destroy every other farming spot and leave this in the game. What are the professions that are not Warrior and Mesmer supposed to do for money? You nerf the farming spots all of us have access to, and leave this in the game. I literally have access to no ways to really make money, yet my friend who just happened to pick a mesmer just now found about speed runs and proceeds to rub in my face the gold he makes a day.
All I ask is that if you nerf farming spots you nerf them all, and this would mean reworking all dungeons (most). So they can’t be farmed like CoF was. Put some mechanics in dungeons that favor tanky characters and not just zerkers dodging everything. Aetherblade Retreat was a great start.
