? Huh? 4 sec bleed is like the base for just about any auto attack that has bleed on it but you feel scepter AA is a problem?

That’s 5 out of 8 classes you think need a nerf to their bleed damage?

My point was that people believe they can just roll a necromancer and win… and you get teams filled with necromancers which get crushed by people with experience.
That is my point all along, if you have experience you’ll crush the necromancers…
Seriously now… if necromancers were as OP as you guys make them to be, 40% of the community would be player necromancers by now. If 1 necromancer is so OP, people would quickly learn that teams of 4-5 necromancers = always win… this trend would have spread like fire… like a new gold exploit…
All this talk back and forth doesn’t do anyone any good…
If we are truly OP we’ll get nerfed… if we get nerfed again i’ll play something else.
Also i climbed into top 500 without using any exploits, not going to give out any details… but yesterday i found out something really “beautiful” about the “pro” sitting in top 10 that have 100% win ratio… you guys are so good aren’t you ?
Your guys were so PRO that you got into good teams 100% of the time, no leavers or afkers, or even better… you guys are so good that you carried the team… probably using necromancers.
What i am saying is that there are classes… i’ll give an example here…
A warrior can stun lock up to 6 seconds and one shot you while he is doing that, he can also be invulnerable to all my damage for about 10 seconds… sometimes you can kite well enough to survive all of that and now it’s your turn, and you proceed to kill that warrior… but he is gone, you can’t follow him even with swiftness… he is too fast.
One of my favorite classes to beat are thieves… i lose to thieves like 5-10% of the time, but at the same time i don’t win vs thieves. Apparently thieves like necromancers as well, because each time a thief sees me he immediately, without hesitation goes for me… casually even, he doesn’t use everything he has… thinks me an easy target (why is that i wonder… because we are OP ?).
Anyway… i kill him or almost kill him because he stealths and then he avoids me the entire game. Abusing mobility he can afford to take a capture point while i fight some god kitten bunker engineer for 30 seconds, and he still makes it in time to 2v1 me.
Fast classes such as warriors, thieves, mesmers… can disengage and avoid conflict if it doesn’t suit them, they can win via points… you end up running around for points, and when you are already behind they can perform focus fire timed attacks which you can’t escape. 1 war 1 thief 1 mesmer = dead. Meanwhile necromancers can’t play the same card…
We can’t avoid combat and go for points, we can’t escape focus fire while avoiding combat and going for points…
Mesmers are more or less like thieves… a bit lower damage, a bit less chance to escape but MOA.
Necromancers would win more games if it was a deathmatch, but it’s not… and other classes can reinforce faster and survive focus fire 10 times better.
I would literally pay all my gold to witch ever necromancer can survive focus fire from 3 of my friends. You’ll be dead in max 4 seconds with no chance of escaping. Where a thief, elementalists, warrior or mesmer could actually survive that… easy even…
Necromancers are only strong if people with same skill or lower skill are stupid enough to remain in the fight, but you always have the option of leaving and there is nothing we can do about it. Also by leaving you provide faster support elsewhere… something we can’t do…
So even when we win… we actually lose because the necromancer’s team is outnumbered somewhere else.
I’ve said too much already, next month when i return into the country… maybe i can get into top 100, and i will start live-streaming… so in time i can save a lot more moments that i find relevant to balance. Namely thieves almost 1 shoting me from stealth, failing to do so because i can counter… then teleporting on the ramp on top of me and assisting in one shoting someone else… meanwhile i take 20 seconds to get there to help as i move aaaaaaaaaaall the way around, by the time i get there it’s 1v2… if i stay where i am… they come to me for a 1v2… GG
edit: one last thing, and i don’t mean this as something offensive… i am trying to find you on the leaderboards from my friend list, i added you and i am checking NA leaderboards and i don’t see you on them. What placement are you at Bhawb ?

2. The achievement is credited to everyone on the map following a successful event clear as long as she is killed, even if they don’t tag her.
This is the best solution because it doesn’t also endanger your chances of failing the event.
I mean, honestly: why isn’t it this way already? The “event failed” loot is awarded to everyone on the map. They know you’re there. Why limit anything to the silly tagging system?
Actually the best solution is probably to make her invuln for 60 seconds allowing everyone to get to her.
I just wanted to say that I was irritated when I saw how much people on here were slamming Scarlet. I think she is marvelous. The critical people just need to sit back and enjoy. The Queen’s Speech instance had me laughing out loud, marveling at the artistic creativity of Scarlet’s minions, and just generally enjoying myself. It was a pleasure to play. So far, the Living Story villains as a whole—from the Flame & Frost bosses, to the Aetherblades, and so-on, have been great fun.

Buy a new gfx card or tone down your settings! THIS IS AMAZING. love you anet!
There is no consumer hardware on the market that can deliver 60 fps in a reasonable configuration (ie, not 4x SLI Titans) using high settings when many players are on screen. The game engine scales poorly. Rather then address this issue, or design content that doesn’t force hundreds of player to one area, we’re given stop gap measures like culling options. It’s sad.
I would also accept like a 60 sec timer where she appears but is in invincible so everyone has time to break combat and get to her before people can melt her
A lot of people do not understand the real source of the frustration here. I’ll try to explain:
A couple months back, Anet introduced achievement rewards. These rewards include account boosts among which there is a Karma Boost. Anyone with half a brain who was aware of this knew that while they did not need the karma immediately it was better to stockpile the items until they earn more achievements and increase their boost percentage.
As if to spite those who pay attention to taking the most efficient course of action, Anet made this change without giving us a heads up.
To show an example of how much of an effect this change had, I was close to the next karma boost level, which would have put my maximum karma boost at +107%, instead of the static +50% they changed it to. I have almost an entire bank tab of stock piled karma boosters, which amounts to about 5mil base karma without boosts.
This means, if I had consumed those 2 hours ago (or if Anet gave us notice of this change), I would have had 10.35m karma, but instead I get 7.5m karma. 2.85m karma loss for no reason. To put things in perspective, 2.85m karma is about 626 orrian jewelry boxes that I had 2 hours ago but now don’t anymore.
just out of curiosity…what is the need for so much karma? i mean i’ve bought a few pieces of armor and some obsidian shards but now i don’t need karma anymore
People are crying because they can no longer get 20g an hour or whatever with Orrian Jewelboxes.

Nerf?
The amount of karma granted from consumable karma items has been increased. Karma boosts no longer affect the amount of karma gained from consumable items.
Seems like they made it so that you don’t need to use a karma booster when using the consumables anymore. I’d call it a buff if anything.
It’s a nerf, the boost is only 50%.
Jug of Liquid Karma used to only give 4500 karma. 6750 karma when used with the karma booster (50%).
Now, it’s unaffected by karma boosters and now gives 6750 karma.
I fail to see where there’s a nerf in all of this.
With the Karma booster, guild karma booster, food karma booster, banner karma booster, 1 jug would give you just over 8k karma. That is where the complaint is coming from – you can no longer stack all of the +karma to increase the reward from these items.

Why do people find Necromancers OP? Because there is one spec right now that is.
We should have a slumber party. You can tell me a story about the OP necro that signet of spite-dhuumfire-epidemic-terror bombed a point with five berserker thieves circle jerking on it. Then we can go watch Phantaram’s video and cry a little about necro survivability. Maybe then we can eat some pizza or something, and watch a 1vX roaming thief video and gush about the true meaning of skill.
By far the best post I’ve seen on this forum.

I’d like to put forth my main hand shield idea again. Especially as a ranged 1h power weapon to go alone with GS.
Chakrams could fit Mesmers, Elementalists and potentially Rangers?
I would put them at 600 range for Mesmers, 1200 for Elementalists and 1000 for Rangers or something like that.
I just want a mainhand pistol, my phantasm has a much cooler looking attack than me
Erom Em Tabfren – Asura Engineer (yeh I made a second one)
In all seriousness a new MH weapon would have to meet the following two requirements.
1: be thematic with either the ‘dueling’ or ‘magic user’ concepts
2: be logically accessible to 2 other professions. I realize the rifle and mace break that rule but its a good guideline.
Given what evidence we have. I would say that if you truly want MH pistol, then what you must do is take every profession and find a current weapon outside of their current pool that is logical for them to use. That would be close to the model which has been presented before us.
i want a focus mainhand !
and yeah fans or harps (i am not talking about the legendary focus: probably the worst legendary available).
honestly i want a whip for the mesmer.i see it all the time in pve on npc’s and a whip would match the mesmer perfectly.

I love when I fight Condi Necros with my Necro. It’s fun to let them stack up all of their condi’s,then throw them all back on them.
Why do people complain about necro?
1) It is because they are clueless and haven’t actually played a necro, so they don’t actually know how non-faceroll the class is / how many ways there are to get stomped into the ground.
2) It is because of bullkitten e-sport class nerf politics youtube videos.
3) It is because they can’t do math, so they don’t realize that the “fear CC burst chain” does less damage than a couple of heartseekers.
4) It is because they are wearing berserker gear and don’t want to have to actually spec any condition clears / regen / vitality / l2p.
I think that pretty much sums it up.
I wamt to Remind Everyone that the Op is a Thief class.
So it’s ok to Nerf-Spirit Rangers beacause of “powerful” they are with 45-60 seconds cooldown.. ’
Yet
It’s ok for Thief Class to have zero Cooldown from Perma-Stealth to their skills and traits.
What I’m saying is that, we shouldn’t be Juistify nor Defending our Spirit Build to him/her whatsoever.
Any class no matter what build they have are Easy Killable to a Thief..
As someone had already stated, “the Op need schooling at the Thief forum”..
Seriously. (It’s like asking a Blind person to walk you across the street)
Again Op
Stop Wasting your Time
Either your a Troll or Intentionally: like Always.. crying out to Arena net to make the Ranger class more Fragile and Vulnerable to you thieves even more.
Let me ask you a question Op..
How many stabbs does it take to kill a Ranger?
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10?
You will know after your schooling..
It takes 2-4 stabbs to kill a ranger.
(It’s like asking a Blind person to walk you across the street)

I can’t even enjoy tpvp anymore because there is always 2-4 spirit rangers in every single match now, Thief is the only class I play, I have basically no counter to them unless I A ) sit there with my SB attempting to whittle down all of their spirits (which by the time I finish one spirit their team mate usually shows up)
That’s more a consequence of thief lacking AOE damage, rather than the spirit build being OP.
or B ) Attempt to burst them and then have to down them twice because of freaking OP res spirit. (again which can take a while and gives them time to wait for backup).
You do realize the irony of a thief complaining that they have to kill someone twice to really kill them? If we summed up the damage taken per time killed, thief would be at the top of the list due to being able to stealth-disengage at will from an engagement they’re losing.
If res spirit is OP, then so is stealthing while in combat. Both give you a second chance when you’re about to die. Except one is an elite on a 240 sec cooldown, and the other can be activated via multiple skills almost any time you want.
This is if I even survive their constant pressure damage. This build is most definitely OP.
Overall, I see this as a rock-paper-scissors setup. Spirit ranger falls in the category of bunker builds, and seems to be especially problematic for builds which concentrate on single-target close-range burst damage – basically thief’s forte. But if you have ranged AOE or sustained damage, they’re a piece of cake. So bunker/spirit ranger counters burst builds, burst builds counter ranged AOE/condition builds, and ranged AOE/condition builds counter bunker/spirit rangers.
