You should make him appear randomly in a fractal shard for lols.

Still awaiting the people that did calculations on the accountbound tools to state how many decades you have to play to make up for the cost, compared to simply paying like 2 silver to go to a waypoint of choice (since its free back to a merchant through sPvP, the actual teleport to merchant thing is completely pointless).
Assuming you teleport once daily, from the max possible distance, you will save kitten a day.
It costs about 130 gold to get the gems for it. I think the price of gems went up a bit but w/e
13000s/4.5s=2888
2889 days for it to pay itself off. Just under 8 years.
It’s good to know that one day when the personal home instance actually does something this item will be available.
So now get working on making the home instance real player housing and I’ll buy one.
Maybe if we had actual HOMES, it would help. But this heathstone thing? I just don’t see the point of it, especially not at that outrageous price.
Logan is plenty cool. This weird ‘’He ran away’’ comments confuses me since he ran away from one battle to another to save the Queen. He didn’t run away because he was scared.
Logan is pretty much the more interesting character of Destiny’s Edge, him and Rytlock, the rest are meh.
Logan ran away from the wrong fight at the wrong time and the single incident became a reputation and that reputation stuck.
Now, only humans and Caithe take him seriously.
I’ve got this one guys.

Neat find, I didn’t see that. Didn’t expect them to make her a ghost….now I’m kind wondering why they didn’t do that for our Order mentors, or any of the other notable characters who die. Oh well…
It’d have been awesome to see Forgal’s ghost still on Claw Island, fighting off the undead inside, until we retook it, at which point his soul would be at peace and pass into the Mists, or even sometimes have ghosts of the characters that died in your Personal Story “haunting” your Home Instances at night or something.
Guild Wars wasn’t an MMO. It was basically Diablo 2 with an online market.
I don’t mind them putting parts of story in the open world. I just don’t like how they did it.
How is this even something to complain about? Less than a second to switch him between modes, done. Sohrd.
It’s a janky interface to do while in combat. You basically say “screw having the NPC that’s supposed to help you actually help, I’ll just kill them myself”
So basically the same as every other NPC “helper” in the game.
The other NPC helpers automatically defend if you’re in combat. Hell, Kasmeer spams time warp pretty much.
There needs to be a special circle of the underworld dedicated to the dev who decided it’d be a SWELL idea to micromanage scruffy between follow and defend modes. It was obnoxious and janky to switch him mid combat with enemies that dropped half your health in a single hit, which good luck dodging while you have the dialogue box opened up blocking half your screen.
Couldn’t we have had it make sense like every other NPC helper throughout the entire game.. where it defends you when you enter combat on its own?
I don’t see the issue when EoTM lets you spam 1 and rake in the experience.
That’s for the next episode I would think.
While the art is nice, it only takes seconds to see all there is to see to a loading screen. And this game has many!
Here are a few ways to make Loading screens a bit more… interesting.
1. Give in text the lore and back story of each area you are visiting.
2. Leave the chat open when loading.
3. Give a random tip to the player in each loading screen.
Hello,
I have recently tried out dragons reach and i must say i dont like it much… the way the ls episode mixes in open world events into its story quests is annoying.. because it basically results in a huge zerg rush plus it just doesnt feel personal.. not as much as it did with the first 2 episodes of ls2 which werent open world and i was fine with that.
This epsidoe is too much like ls1 with all the zerg open world events >.< so please stay with the episode 1 and 2 format like in drytop, for example if the story of drytop relied on us doing the sandstorm stuff (timed open world events) it would be really boring! go here, kill this, go back to guy. but in the first 2 episodes it was unique.. you could explore more.. interact with things ocassionally fight stuff (not in open world) and then there would be story.
in short i just dont like this format very much =/ i would be dissapointed if they stuck with this in the future..
Why did you change it back to the zerg fest LS, anet? It was dumb and you made improvement with the previous two episodes and now it’s back to right where it was.
Seriously.
Well, it’d be a convenient way to kill him. I’ve been eyeing that sword of his for a while now.

I solo’d this as a D/P thief and it was way too easy.
1) Beat on statue until mender spawns.
2) Ignore mender until he’s actually in the room, keep killing statue.
3) Steal to mender and DPS. Fear him with stolen skull. Infiltrator Strike to immobilize. DPS and he’s dead long before I run out of CC.
4) Repeat.
We need Dungeons like the frost & Flame – that was amazing.
Why are you playing a MMO then? Seems not at all logical.
Only thing I long on to do is get this LS out of the way asap and go back to spvp <- reason for kittenin playin a mmo ty. I don’t want to wait hours on end not enjoying my time standing around doing jack kitten waiting for an event to spawn.
BP → DR → FA → Mag → BP → FA
Firstly lets just admit here universally this idea was admirable but poorly implemented, and here’s why:
This Patch literally depends on World Events to advance the plot which causes Mega Servers to Lag and Bugs to happen frequently
I get what you were trying to do, try interacting more with the world, its not a bad idea, but the deliverance is terrible, and the fact it literally requires you to do certain world events to advance things is a lesson that should be learned.
A-Net, don’t do this again, its just a bad idea, there’s no reason to do this, period.
The last two episodes were pretty nice on the ride side of things but this one felt rough and surprisingly a little rushed.
I am hoping the next episode will be a little more indulgent and story heavy as this one felt more like a filler than a plot, granted, it is Part 1 of possibly 2 or 3 or whatever.
TL:DR?
What Worked:
- The Episode Story does continue and gives some interesting plot twists.
- The new backpack will be a time sinker.
What Doesn’t:
- Plot actually felt weak compared to the last two episodes, character bonds between certain characters could have been invested into more instead feeling hallow and a little empty.
- The method of advancing plot via World Events was just a bad idea, period.
How to Improve:
- World Events should stay separate from the story side of things, yet perhaps offer achievements and little ventures of their own to be rewarded for.
- While I wont spoil the story, I will say that A-net needs to avoid SHYING away from forcing char development on chars and literally doing things with them.
This is a vast, growing world that has potential.
Sadly, this episode, it felt more or less like a giant filler for whats coming more than a decent transition.
The ending was a little anti-climactic too, maybe its just me, but it just felt weaker than it needed to.
You bought it less than a month ago? I bought 5 pieces yesterday, to tide me over until I could craft some zerkers gear.
You paid for a kite. You got a kite.
You did not pay for a kite that gives a speed buff. Now there are other kites that give speed buffs that are not the kites you paid for.
Between having the story be bound to time-gated group events and the bugs forcing me to change flows constantly to get them, dealing with Trehearne again is just fine, thank you.
Besides, it makes sense given the situation.
The leader of the organization we have spent 70% of the game purposedly training to kill dragons is going to show up to the meeting of how to kill the dragon we are after.
Who woulda thought.
Maybe now that he’s finished his Wild Hunt thingy, he’d have had enough time for other worthwhile pursuits, like learning to speak with more than one tone.
cool we have same amount of gold
If Rocket Charge is only 2 leaps then it should look like 2 leaps
True Shot should be cast on the move
Its prolly a bug … though I cannot fathom how a bug this large got past pre-patch stuff
there’s This guy who i think is blood legion.. not sure
That’s got to be concept art of Rytlock, since he’s wielding Sothorin.
Thinking back to the trailer, maybe he gets corrupted by ghosts?
Time is a river.
The door is ajar.
