Not a good idea. As soon as developers create a need for any specific build, then that puts the nail in the coffin of all those groups where people bring what they want.

The real solution is for people to give up on the idea that it’s their right to have access to every group, with the convenience of the LFG tool. Exclusion is and always will be a people issue, so it cannot be solved with a gameplay solution. Gameplay solutions will only transfer the specifics of the exclusion.

I dislike hearts and avoid them, but on the topic of events, many of them are interesting, you don’t have the competing over mobs like in other mmos that makes me so mad either.

I just like the idea that seeing another player on your faction should never be a negative.

If an item gives you gameplay advantage (like upgrades: +5% dmg, +5% armor etc) then it is P2W to some extent.

Revive orbs are HORRIBLE. You can’t really use them if you’re in any danger at all. When you use one, you suffer from five seconds of revive sickness. You can’t do anything. You walk at a crawl. You can’t dodge. If there’s anything around you at all,. you’re going back down. I’ve wasted more revive orbs than I’ve used sucessfully.

Repair canisters? Really? For one thing you can farm gold and can buy them with gold, and not spend a penny of your cash. You can get them with zone completion or dailies as well. I didn’t buy a repair canister for ages.

I think you must be confusing this game with another, because there’s no P2W here.

Have you ever used a revive orb? The only thing a revive orb saves you is the silver cost of using a waypoint.

When you invite a ranger it’s like a 50/50 chance whether you get a useless bearbow idiot or a decent ranger. When you invite a warrior at least you know he’ll probably melee.

There’s always a panic. Most people don’t actually know kitten about how the dungeons work. They see a video or guide and try to replicate without ever trying to make it more efficient.

It’s also the best update the guardian has ever received since beta.

Ya, you are not getting that dagger any time soon.

24g is not enough to even level from 1 to 400 yet alone 400 to 500 which requires about 90g, then you have get ascended materials which is fairly easy.

1. You need to be weaponsmith level 500 to see the recipe.
2. Salvage Lvl. 68+ rare/exotic equipment.
3. No.
4. Do champs, world bosses and WvW to get the account bound materials.
5. Salvage Lvl. 68+ exotic gear.
6. They get unlocked automatically once your reach level 500 as weaponsmith.
7. Buy it/craft it. The recipe is unlocked at weaponsmith level 400.
8. Cheapest way: Farm wood and ore and craft everything yourself. Easiest way: Do a couple of dungeons and use the money to buy it. The latter option is going to be heaps faster.

For most of these questions the official wiki is a great resource. This is not to discourage you from asking questions in the forum, but it is most likely the faster option in this case.

I like how people toss out premium features like HBOgo, which all have an additional cost. Where as this does not. I can see the argument that we can set out DVRs up to record in advance…to an extent. I think mine only goes out like 2 weeks…

Anyway, how is paying 200gems if you miss the content any different if they had simply boxed it all up as an expansion / mini expansion / whatever and made you buy a box to get it? The only difference would be that it you get everything all at once and that you paid a bigger price tag up front. In this instance if you log in to play regularly, you can potentially get all that content for free. Yes, obviously part of how satisfied a customer we’ll be depends on whats in the package, but personally, I like free….

Hey if the quality of content is worthy of an expansion, i’ll pay for it.
Season 1’s quality is HARDLY worthy of an expansion level content.

I would love to thank developers for making Liadri bossfight tough and not nerfing it even after so many nerf demanding posts. It took me few days to beat the hell out of her, I was angry, I was swearing, I was really, really mad about that fight.

But it was that challenge behind that fight what made me try again, and again, and again… heck it even made me to rethink my build from scratch, which si probably for the first time since I hit level 80 back in 2012 (I didn’t get to do Liadri during first pavilion). I love that type of challenging content and especially that feeling after I finnaly made it.

I hope that ArenaNet is going to make content like this more often and also make content like this party-oriented (DUNGEON). Pushing players skill to some level is good and definitely way more fun than facerolling almost any PvE content.

It is a sad state of things when most players would rather ditch their elite skill in favor of a 4th utility.

I don’t think it’s silly at all.

Given that the main point of Legendaries is purely for aesthetic purposes, Its very reasonable to complain about it not serving its purpose when you have invested much time and gold(time) to acquire it.

This is just the kind of half-assery that separates a good game from a top-notch game.

The WvW Season 2 has been going on for 2 months, and because you don’t figure out that you have no clue how to do the rewards until a couple days before the end the rest of us get screwed? GG

They should really make a universally available passive run speed for all classes. Playing a guardian and a mesmer is sometimes a real pain the kitten.

If nothing else, at least give me pants for my guardian, with no butt cape.

Just saying, the vast majority of the attire that’s available on this game is what I’d expect to see on strippers. I really am baffled how you think otherwise. :P
