This design was set so players wouldn’t put traps (especially the supply trap) on supply holds. Image if your zerg/small party didn’t have supply and went to restock at supply hold that had a few supply remove traps. As soon as the team has supply BOOM “Trapified” your supply is gone.
Which is exactly what is happening in the video.

You don’t play your own game. You should do it or make a test server so we do it for ya. Since you don’t realise or even have the knowledge of what each class is able to do when implementing anything.
I have to agree with the sentiment of this poster. I don’t think ArenaNet has the bandwidth to adequately test these changes. A beta server is a must.
Given how a thief can effectively use these traps in a manner which the developers have explicitly stated is against their intended design, I’d strongly suggest supply traps be disabled in WvW until a fix has been made.

And this thought never occured to you prior to making the traps? Yet it took a player like me a matter of 5-10 mins, to not only consider stealth but the ability to teleport while using the trap. So… as has been pointed out, do you guys actually know how to play your game? Do you actually have other players testing the game, and if yes, do they even know how to play the game? Somehow I feel the answer to both of these questions right now is a conclusive no. Dw, I can balance your game for you for free.. not like it requires much brain power, this game is already super simplistic but it seems you guys still keep getting it wrong.

You mean, you didn’t really think through on the consequences of adding these traps? Or how they could be used?
OR it would need to be summoned at the caster’s position.
Would anyone complain if it was changed to not use ground targeting to become a true teleport? I know I wouldn’t.

Ever notice how much clothing Charr wear even though they have fur… This has been bothering me since before release. Humans, Norns and Sylvari all have more choices when it comes to conservative and liberal armors. What I love about this game is that it allows you to play the way YOU want. Charr only have conservative armor styles. It is boring. Think about it, when in character creation, we get to choose from a wide variety of eye-catching and impressive fur patterns, and for what? Once you get in the game, the fur is all covered up. If I COULD, I would hide all my armor, why, because then I could sport my beautiful fur instead, and there is nothing wrong about a cat showing off her fur.
I’m making a plea for the sake of Charr all across Tyria. Please make Charr armor for females that looks ferocious, yet beautiful at the same time. I want to show off my fur. If you let players deck out their women with little to no clothes, please let a modest girl like me, have stunning but fierce looking Female Charr Armor and to show off my exotic fur patterns.
And while you’re at it, the male Charr armor needs a second look too. In guild wars 1, eye of the north, I loved the look of the Charr, because they showed off their abs and beautiful exotic fur at the same time. I’m sure all the female Charr liked it better that way. ;P
Let’s make our Sires, Warbands, and Legions proud, as we slay our enemies with style, whether it be through spots, stripes, or no pattern at all! Those in favor, say meow!
P.S. I still think a skirt on a Charr looks silly.

WvW players are still waiting for something to use their badges on, and for the longest time only had access to one set of armor (P/v/t). The fact that some combinations of stats are still plain missing doesn’t help either…
Implementing a few extra pieces of gear and some badge merchants (which I would think is really just a matter of copy/paste once you figure out the cost of items) should have never taken this long.

But you’re missing a very important thing: not dragging their feet on important issues that they’ve been “aware of” for months would take time away from designing neat new things to stuff into the lottery boxes in the gem store.

This is a content expansion update, not the planned bug fix update(s).
Edit: It looks like there are some bug fixes and a little ballancing but I still expect more near the end of the month.

I switched to D/D ele from engineer because compared to the laughable D/D Ele nerf engineers got literally kitten by the nerfbat. Meanwhile i laugh at all the tears here…
Imagine they would have deleted evaisive arcane, elemental attunement got a 20 icd and 30% of your dmg abillitys got cut in half. Thats just half of the treatment engineers got since release. So your crying looks a little bit ridiculous.
I made just 1 little adaption, i change the elite to fiery greatsword, thats it.
And lol this is one powerful elite.

I have know idea why you guys are all crying. You guys had a nerf, please join the thief class where they have had a nerf every update. Ele is still a great class, you guys just cant solo 5 players anymore and run away if things look bad
I swapped one trait and was good to go.
I dunno what everyone is filling their diapers about. Arrow Carts are the real killer these days anyway.

I might start playing my ele again now it’s been balanced down a bit, might be more of a challenge.
Maybe it would been more of a challenge if you didn’t use the most overpowered build in the first place.
I personally love the RTL change, well timed dodge / evade when you RTL to me, then I have a whole 40 seconds to pound your face in. And that’s for all the times you’ve used RTL to disengage from every single fight when it looks like you might lose. Class needed adjustments, I should not have been able to 1vs many the way I was on my ele, then RTL out when things looked dodgy, I might start playing my ele again now it’s been balanced down a bit, might be more of a challenge.

No I got the Jist of the thread. People whining about a couple nerfs like its the first MMO they played. Crying that the class is broken. Good players understand the basics of the game correct. They also understand the class is not broken, the class is fine. Good players adapt and move on. It’s been nurfed. The fact that Rtl and Mist are only two spells in a ton of other spells. If two spells broke the class for you. You are bad. If you think the class is now broken because of two spell changes you are bad.
Every class dies to conditions very fast if they don’t remove it. Possibly not necros and warriors with their huge hp pools.
Other classes didn’t have nearly as good condi removal as elementalists had.

Double cd on RTL, okey. But it wasn’t you only gap closener, and it was from weapon and not utility. And the cd is decreased by 50% if you hit an enemy, I.E if you use it as gap closener.
Mist form was a very strong spell and still is. Engineer got the same change, maybe warriors also should get it.
Passive cleanse got 5sec cd, I don’t know if that’s a big deal. (Edit: I noticed this was for spvp only, so I guess it didn’t change in wvw.)
But that’s basically it, or did I miss something?
Please enlighten me, because I really don’t understand.
