Guild Wars 2

Ever since I started my charr necro, I’ve been using the staff. But now I’m thinking if scepter/focus is a better for range.

It mostly depends on how well the weapon does in PVE since I do that alot.

I just started an asura warrior but I can’t decide which of these 2 weapons I should use.

I’m a PvE type of person so I need to know if GS or Hammer works better
(I already have a rifle for ranged combat so now I need something for meelee)

Has anyone noticed that some pets are more used than others?

If you think that there are either pets that get too much attention or pets that need some love, please post it here!

For me:

Overused: Brown Bear,Jungle Stalker, Fern hound

Underused:Warthog, Boar, Hawk, White Moa, pretty much the entire Jellyfish family

Having a pet Dolyak, Skale or Phoenix would be interesting……

I plan on getting 5 pets for my Sylvari: Fern Hound, Murellow, Blue Moa, Eagle and Lashtail Devourer. But sometime I think about getting one pet for each family.

So what do you guys think? Is there any number of how many pets you charm that’s good for you? Please reply.

I think I’ve gone mad.

I was doing the personal story quest where you had to help ogres collect tree trunks with Sieran, but as soon as I start the instance, I see Kralkatorrik’s champion out of nowhere. I kept my eye on it while fighting the harpies, and a little bit later I see another Shatterer.

Both of them seemed to be floating in the air while breathing fire at nothing. Then they fly off into the sky, teleport back to standing on air, and repeat.

Just what the kitten were they doing there? Were they both sent by Kralk to brand my charr and the ogre but they got distracted?

Please reply your thoughts on this.

I plan on making a tanky sylvari for my next character but I am torn between these two classes.

What are your suggestions?

I was in this guild called Fire In the Darkness (FIND) for a long time, but I want to have one guild for each character. When I was going to visit them with them on my asura, it somehow switch to say that I wasn’t representing Extreme Agony (AGNY) a guild that my charr is with. I love both guild, and if I leave FIND, their leader is going to kill me.

Is this how it’s supposed to be? Please someone reply back!

This has been going on for a few days now. Every time I try to load Black Lion Trading., it loads and then says ERROR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

I plan on making both a charr and a sylvari for another playthrough, but I’m curious about something

How are the gender voices?
I mean,I’m not trying to be sexist but I want to see what voice sounds better and matches the character more.
I planned on doing a female necro charr and a male sylvari warrior/guardian but I heard that their voices don’t sound good.

What are your opinions?

Everytime I try to log in to Guild Wars 2 it always says:‘’Connection error(s) detected. Retrying….’’ I have no idea what’s happening, especially since my dad logs in with no problem at all. Is this related to the DDoS attack? Is something wrong with my computer? I need answers as soon as possible. (At least before Monday)

I’ve joined two parties so far where I clicked on their picture multiple times to join them.Still didn’t teleport to their server. Is there something I’m missing?

Earlier today, I was fighting Tequatl the Sunless. We were very close to killing it right until I was disconnected and kicked to a different server , making the fight a complete waste.
Also, I’ve been getting disconnects constantly even before I faced Tequatl. I’ve also gotten recent glitching while doing story quests in Orr right before disconnecting to them as well.

This has been going on since Yesterday and I want it to stop. If ArenaNet could fix these problems, that’d be great.
If someone could tell me how to get back to my previous server, that’d also be great.
(If these problems aren’t gone soon, I may have to quit GW2 for a while.)

When I was fighting Tequatl, I was very close to killing him. Then for some reason, I was disconnected to the server and was sent to a different one where Teq was winning. I didn’t even get a reward or chest even though I contributed to the previous fight alot. And even before the Tequatl fight I kept getting disconnected from the server for no reason.

If ArenaNet could fix this problem, or if someone could tell me how to get back to my previous map/server, I’d appreciate that.

Apparently while I play Guild wars 2 I keep disconnecting to the server around every 3 minutes.
Also I logged off after my game kept getting bugged while I was doing a story quest once the new build was announced.
Now,my account seems to be taking forever to load.

If someone could help me solve it or an Anet could fix the problems, that’d be great.

I heard from the wiki that Lion Arch was alot like an urban city. But in the game, it seems,well broken.

Is it possible that ANet could have Lion’s Arch look like how it used to be?

Lornar was a legendary dwarf that held off a Hill Giant invasion by himself.

I thought about making this discussion when this happened to me in-game(it can also serve as an example):
I was doing the ‘’A Light In the Darkness’’ quest with Trahearne in the vision in Orr.After I fought the Risen off, I came to a scene where the Destiny’s Edge group is turning against each other:Rytlock and Logan fighting as usual,Zojja is frusterated with Eir, and Caithe joins Faolain.
After that scene of emotion,terror,anger and defeat, my asura character discovered a new place in Orr and immediatly said:‘’Wow! What a FASCINATING discovery! ’’As if she COMPLETLY forgot about everything that happened.I couldn’t stop smiling after that.

I would really, REALLY like some more information on Bubbles the Deep Sea Dragon.

And some more class buffs would be good too.
And maybe,I HIGHLY doubt it, but we could possibly get a new playable race or class?

It just means Mordremoth’s on his/her way.

I know we get to fight Zhaitan, but it doesn’t seem enough.
Here’s an idea for a Living World chapter in a later Season

Have one of dragons fly and stomp around the fields trying to destroy a said race city (Destiny’s Edge,Black Citadel,The Grove,Hoelbrank,and supposedly Rata Sum) while the players are slashing and shooting him then a cycle of events happen when the ships surround the dragon and are charging up lasers and cannonswhile the players distract the dragon(as soon as the dragon’s stunned or fallen over,the players finish him off)
EDIT:Perhaps the players couldn’t actually damage the dragon,but rather slow him down or even stun him while more advanced weapons get charged up and pick off some of his health.Maybe the dragon could have the chance to fly off after the encounter.

What are your thoughts? Can we possibly destroy the Elders once and for all? And if yes,how? Please reply.

I’ve been agitated by the fact that we can only switch to 2 pets at a time and mostly about that when you switch out,the name changes to Juvenile insert what ever creature your pet is here

So I have been thinking: maybe it depends on which mode we’re in?
Here’s my idea on how it would work.
In PvP we could have only 1 pet and no switch
In WvW it could be at normally 2 pets
And in PvE we could have a length of 4 or 5 pets to switch in any order.

What are your thoughts about this fellow rangers?

Since most of my topic consist of me asking for help,I decided:why not try something new for once?

Playing GW2,I realized that alot of in-game enemies have pretty interesting things to say.
So I’m asking everyone:which sayings from foes stood out to you the most?

Here’s a few of mine
Centaurs:‘’Weakness makes me sick!’’ ‘’Yours victory will be short lived.’’
Krait:‘’Prepare for sacrifice!’’
Hylek:‘’You win. I die.’’

Apparently I have reached level 48 and still haven’t got the concept of crafting.Mostly since I need a fast way to level up that isn’t dungeons. If someone could show a guide teaching me how, that’d be great.

Also,sorry for taking up your time. (yes I know it sounds stupid)

I’m currently at level 12 but I wish there was a way to at least get to level 40(or 80).

I know, I tried an original name like Vyxxi but it still says " New character limit exceeded" it’s letting my dad in but not me.Dad says it’s because the servers are full and I have to wait but it takes FOREVER (also sorry for the complaints)

Every name I want that I type in either says “Name is already taken” or “New character limit exceeded”.
