I am just here to confirm that after last night’s patch/update rendering in WvW went from perfectly fine for me (I have always been able to see around 100 of people on screen at once) to not even being able to see my own party in an area with no one else around but just us.

Same, I had very few issues with players not being visible before the update… now it’s very rare when I can see any npc or player at all – . – I don’t particularly care for PvE… so until this is resolved I just won’t play gw2.

For me it started out ok until my first death. Then after I resed, nothing was loading (NO enemy players what so ever and only the bank npc’s). Totally unplayable. Please do whatever you need to do to fix this.

Making an alliance to 2v1 another server is a very cowardly thing to do anyways…

Same. Wish they could give us some warning before they do that… they seem to be doing that less and less often >.>

It just depends on the profession and how much you go for those mats. Personally I attack every single herb/tree/lump of metal while I’m leveling as well as go for them if I see them sort of chained together. Some of the other materials can become a problem if you aren’t repeating dynamic events that involve the mobs that drop them (such as scales etc. when you start to need 8 of those to craft one item).

Do your best to discover as many new recipes as you can, that will give by far the most xp.

Professions that involve metal tend to be easier vs. leatherworking/tailoring (where you can’t even farm from nodes… forcing you to salvage every single cloth/leather item you find to give you enough mats… and even then you may not have enough without further farming).

If you wait until later, you’ll probably be waiting until 80 to go back… and then you won’t be getting that boost in XP. Since you’re still pretty low level I would go back and just hunt for what you need and in the future just try to watch out for every node and repeat those things that have you killing the mobs which drop scales etc. once. Another option would be just to buy whatever you need to catch up with since the low level mats tend to be pretty inexpensive.

I can see/think of no reason why things that have NO other use than a crafting mat shouldn’t also be allowed into that area once you’ve discovered it. I find it irritating that things like fillings, inscriptions, etc. just sit there and eat up a ton of bank space while I’m leveling that profession. It should just be unlocked after discovery. I can understand why things that have dual purposes (crafted items which can be used for a mat and are usable items) do not… but there are MANY others that do not fall into that catagory.
