I don’t know about this week as I havn’t been on much, but the previous time when TC faced SoR, and SoS; TC nabbed SoR’s garrison at least 3 times when it was T3. (I was a part of it, and we were outnumbered as well)

I do agree, TC probably shouldn’t be in T1, it has nothing to do with skill because frankly, when we face SoR and BG (at least in prime time when I’m on), we have no trouble taking them down in open field fights, even if were outnumbered. TC shouldn’t be in T1 because they don’t like to mega-blob everywhere. TC at most runs with maybe 35 people max in a zerg with the rest of the map being havoc groups or small group roamers. Usually it’s only 25-30 to a zerg.

The numbers we put forth tell the story; traditionally TC numbers are stronger during the week (as opposed to the weekend). The previous match-up (before queen’s jubilee), it seemed 3 out of the 4 maps I’d log into during prime time, we were outmanned, which is unusual. Then when you look at reset night where the numbers are even, what do we see; TC with a healthy PPT lead for 90% of the night.

Reset night, where all 4 maps are always que’d, we see where TC stands with even numbers; but because TC doesn’t like to mega-blob around in SoR does, they really shouldn’t be there. I cant comment much on BG because they only seem to come out at night when everyone is sleeping.

I wasn’t going to reply further in this thread but I have to stop you right there.

TC does the exact opposite of what you just said. I was on SoS and faced you guys for 6 weeks. The next day after I transferred from SoS to JQ we faced TC again. TC runs one mega blob and has a few pugs roaming around.

I shouldn’t have been able to do that either but yay for 7 hour delays. I think we had some raids but I wasn’t there for any of them. those guilds eventually merged into the guilds that ran the speed clears and farmed JQ/FA which eventually merged into HzH.

AB died and with it the FFF that we all once knew :P

You are playing with a GW1 guild, the game with so much better GvG then this one, yet your guild runs an extremely average, unoriginal, run of the mill zerg in this game? Did you just forget how to play, unable to adapt to a new game, water your ranks down with new folks, or what? I generally agree with your views of GvG in this game, but that doesn’t force you to be classic zerglets.

I’m not usually running with the guild. I ran a glamour build for them last night but its not very common to find me with them.

Gameplay in both games are indeed vastly different. I started playing gw2 2 months ago so at this point I’m just learning. Most of the people in HzH have never gvgd. We did put things in motion last night to change that though.

You’re hiding behind “There’s no REAL gvg anywhere in this game!” argument and posting videos of an old game. GvG’s still happen, but on our terms. The game is what you make of it.

I don’t like the 20v20 GvG’s they are boring to me. I like 5v5’s those are fun (I prefer 2-3v5ish that’s why I roam) but if they want to do 20v20 then hell yeah. You can still learn kitten from it and have fun.

It tickles me that it’s only the people who have never played GvG (GW1) who make these types of statements. I wonder why.

Oh if they brought back HA … that would be a great start. I didn’t do it as much as GvG (only wolf rank), but it was fun nonetheless.

There are too many mechanics that need a rework before any GvG format could be implemented though. I think the biggest problem areas with that right now are rally/downstate/absence of a dedicated healer.
