Condition necro is strong but is hardcountered by skullcracker regen warri, that is if the necro didn`t trait 30 SR stability which is only common for power necros, but that`s not the kind of necro people cry about. Since these warriors lose to deception mesmers, I`d say the always blinking, invisible condition mesmers win the trophy.

Idk that’d be interesting, Their Oceanic is definitely stronger since they were the unofficial Oceanic and SEA server and IoJ was “Overflow”. Hows their NA?

I think the Condi Mesmer is the strongest dueling build right now. I play it in the dueling arenas nightly and it stomps everything 1v1. Even other mesmers.

Hmm, first challenge would be Darkhaven, but it looks like that is definitely doable. I don’t think you’re quite up to SBI, but Kaineng should be a great matchup for you guys, for sure. SBI got a lot of DR’s guilds recently so I see them going up a bit.

Sounds like you guys field guild groups similar to T3 and higher. A lot of good things said about you too. Anyway. I think SoS would be a perfect fit. They win T3 due to a strong Oceanic crew, but commonly face off against DB and FA. A strong NA guild would definitely put some pain on their T2 opponents.

You said that backward. Medals are based on rating. Hence why JQ can lose the matchup but retain higher rating than SoR/BG and still take Rank 1. JQ did win the gold in week 34.

I don’t really care about winning/losing, as there are no rewards and it’s totally dependent on coverage and whether or not there are events happening, but you have yet to make a valid point or verify a true statement. That’s honestly not even meant to be inflammatory, it’s just pointing out your lack of substantiated evidence for your claims.

Just finished with a PYRO/VR run on FA BL. I think we had probably 60ish. I guess FA probably had around the same, maybe a few more. It was literally unplayable. Why on earth anyone would want to do this on a regular basis is beyond me.!

Is this in reference to the blob wars at FABL garrison last night? I ran into the middle of that and for about 30 seconds everyone was standing around peacefully. The server seemed to have forgotten to send data to my client. Not even spamming #1 worked. Unplayable. Literally.

Uh, that doesn’t happen to me, even in 3way SMC fights with SoR and BG. Don’t blame Anet for you having incapable hardware.

It’s not competitive. It is however, repetitive. We know this because deathmatches weren’t really that exciting in GW1, and that was with dedicated healers keeping the combat going for it to become interesting. Objective based is the way to go, even if the objective is small.

This concerns me too. Right now SBI #14 is beating BP #10. In the new system SBI wouldn’t have the opportunity to prove they can beat #10

While I know we won’t see any of this come to fruition anytime soon, I do have some input.

Gamemodes
1. Please for the love of everything Holy and sacred, do not implement a watered down, simplistic shadow of a former game mode a lot of us loved and still play to this day from this game’s predecessor. Call it whatever else you want, but do not allow it to share the same name. A lot of people want it as a Deathmatch. It never was nor should be.

Split Skills
2. We need the skills split for sPvP. I understand what you’re saying about it, but after working for 14 days straight and 12 of those being 12 hour shifts, I really don’t want to hear about how much time it takes and how much people work. I’ve been waiting since 2009 for this. Don’t tell me after all these years it was in vain.

Make it Happen
3. I think you guys do a great job at creating concepts and trying to implement them! I love this game and you’re right, it can be so much more, but it’s still not an excuse for half-kittened execution.

Mesmers are not just DPS, fix them
4. GIVE MESMERS THEIR ROLE AS MASTERS OF CONTROL BACK

I don’t see SoR/JQ/BG destacking. I see them getting more stacked and T1 being a powerhouse and very close competition. I see TC stacking up even more and lower Gold League servers shrinking as people flood top Silver League and top Gold League servers.

JQ has the longevity but we like people who put in the effort. Not a rally bot looking to ride coat tails

After reading so many posts regarding transfers/merges/blackouts and how the new league system will impact servers and players, it appears things will relatively remain the same.

If people abandon servers 8-12 and merge into the top servers or “top servers” of the next league (silver, for NA), then wouldn’t the servers at the top of silver suddenly become T2 or even T1-esque? Suddenly there would be a shake-up in the “top dogs” with previously middle-ranked servers becoming the new bottom tiers.

At first this sounds terrible, but with a bit of thought I feel that the money people have paid to get into the top tiers far outweighs players who did not monetarily invest to be on a middle-tier server. Sounds harsh, but it’s true.

Devon, it sucks you’re going to see a lot of backlash from the community, I’m sure you fully expected it which is why you’re out in force on the forums today, but it would be nice if you could host some sort of livestream where players could have a constructive discussion with you on what we actually want in the game we opted to play.

Mesmers are still control, they just don’t shut down opponents like they used to. However, in a group setting they still play control. In WvW it’s the glamour mesmer that’s useful to it’s team, not DPS. No, they can’t interrupt and disable as much as they used to, but their role never changed.

Blackout disabling the mesmer’s skills was irrelevant. I fused for the most part in Gw1, and having blackout hit me (or Powerblock, for that matter) after using fuse served it’s purpose, trust me.

Not to mention the gimmick spike build mesmers could use with PI/wastrels/assassin skills.

For those of you crying about Moa Morph, especially the one who compared it to the GW1 mesmer. Just stop.

Guild Wars 1 mesmers had a MYRIAD of shutdown skills that were by far more dangerous than moa morph.
