You’re not producing permanent 25 stacks of might for your team as a PS warrior. Even with a perfect rotation with 100% crit chance you’ll probably average about 10 to15 stacks.
Edit: Unless you’re fighting multiple ennemies but not when you’re fighting bosses which is where it matters most. Granted some boss spawn mobs too.

Way to go in not presenting any solution, nor acknowledging any problems. Just stick your head in the sand, poke fun at a poster for pointing out a problem, and then pretend the problem does not exist. Lets go back to that earlier example shall we? Lets not ignore the problem:
One person is somehow able to type and run at the same time (macro maybe?) we’re bypassing these mobs and going to the boss!
At which point the new ranger while attempting to run and type at the same time meets a sticky end.
He lies dead only meters away from the starting point.
Then suddenly without even offering any assistance, a message window pops up asking to kick the now dead ranger.
I then hit the do not kick button and try to ask that we collect up and fight our way back to him. He’s new.
Two members just quit the group, apparently they don’t have time to help teammates.
(So ends the beginning of the Saturday night debacle)
^^^ THIS is a problem that needs to be solved. This is not how the game was intended. We’ve all seen this happen, and a player not reading the LFG correctly is really not the real issue here. Untill you acknowledge that this is not just a player problem, but a design problem, you are not going to improve the dungeon environment.

This never failed me.
I have never had to change my build for any boss in GW2.
I was able to run everything kitten with Sabway/Discord Heroes and never really had the need to change my build, or those of my heroes for that matter. Does that mean it’s always the most effective setup for a situation? No. You can always make minor tweaks to get through faster, like using EoE in GW1 if you knew there were many mobs of the same type.
I’d like to see that happen. So much, that I’d pay 200g to see discordway pits, plains and wastes quest (underworld).

If you pay attention to the spiders you’ll see that some of them are lvl 1 2 or 3.
The 1 & 3 are no threat, but there’s one level 2 that is, because that one is the spider that triggers the big spider spawn. Specifically, the level 2 spider on the right upper side (when facing towards the tunnel with chains)
take this advice because even a lot of so called 80 experienced zerkers don’t know this.
I can’t stress this out enough, to many people just engage the small adds without a clue
and it really helps to know WHEN you trigger a boss so you can actually prepare for itTo many times i’m there stacking might only to have some scrub take the spider down causing the big one to spawn. I still have to cast icebow, but some other crub already used a status skill wasting my deep freeze (ice bow 5 skill) and then the problems start.
Sure, with a full 80 zerk party its dead before it can cause serious problems. but i still tend to die because of this in pugs.
If you manage the adds first, control the spider boss spawn and finish off the other adds you have a full room of dodging available to you without the pesky little ones poisoning you to death.
1. Clear the fire statues (ranged preferred) that lay down the small fire blasts
2. kill adds (but beware of the lvl 2 spider roaming arround in the spot i mentioned)
3. more adds will spawn -> kill them aswell
4. spawn spider -> deepfreeze it with icebow or interupt with a skill available
5. DPS
You are ALMOST right. It’s not just one spider, you have to kill all the low level spiders to spawn the Queen.

As for the Ice Bow meta: 1 guard 1 war 1 thief 2 ele’s, all in Berserker gear(power precision ferocity). Chain lock down with ice bow #5(deep freeze). The thief removes the Defiance so you can freeze again. This is a really good and save set up, BUT not needed at all to complete dungeons fast and efficient. I do recommend using Berserker gear tho, you’ll feel squishy at first but trust me, you’ll get used to it as you learn how the game works.
If any of the above is confusing, just ask for better explanation ..it can be a bit to much info for a new player :p

The 2 you’ll use the most are Air for Vuln stacking and Earth for Blinds.
You don’t take Glyph for the dmg, but for the Utility.
Your survivability comes from knowing attacks and encounters well so you can use your defensive abillities(Air4, Earth4 Earth5 and Earth2). Earth2 is not the easiest to use, but its a projectile blocker on a very short CD. Also dont forget about your Elite, Earth Ele is an amazing tank. Because of its high toughness it normally takes aggro and takes a while to die, also the active gives you protection and cripples your enemy.
For your auto attack, Lightning whips range is HUGE. Abuse that

Element’s guide has 06062 gs/sword +warhorn setup for phalanx strength. is this setup still good when running a ps build?
If you run PS, you should still do the normal rotation for vuln. So that means 05063 GS+Axe/Mace.

OP suggestion not so much…
In dungeons warriors run(well, SHOULD run) 2 banners, so you need 1 party member to carry one of em to the next fight.
In fractals, both. Run PS and do normal GS+Axe/mace rotation.
In dungeons, vuln. Ele’s will either pre stack or stack on the boss, do normal GS+Axe/mace rotation for DPS and vuln.
Why do I prefer PS in fractals? Fights normally take longer, so warrior can easily maintain the might and ele’s can go staff.
I recommend having two armor sets tho. If you can only afford 1 ascended set, make it zerk with strength for faptals and use zerk with scholar in normal dungeons(unless you solo/duo)
If I need money: full dungeon tour+some chest farming in SW if I’m bored
But normally I do daily fractal 50/40/30, Arah and whatever other Dungeon I feel like doing.
Nothing in this game comes close to good old DoA/UW/FoW/Urgoz/Deep though :/
Sharpening stones are a waste in AC, I’m sure every meta build hits the 720 power cap without them.

For staff your base build is 64000 (fire: Internal Fire, Pyromancers Alacrity, Persisting Flames. Air: Bolt to the Heart, Arcane Lightning)
Last 4 points depend on your situation.

To keep up Arcane Lightning, run with Arcane Brilliance(heal) and Arcane Wave. Use one of them every 15 seconds, if possible in a Fire Field for Might and Fury.
Ice Bow should always be on your bar for Dungeons and even in open world its great damage and tagging.
Other skills worth taking:
Glyph of Storms(for Vulnerability(Air) and Blind(Earth)
Lightning Flash(Mobility)
Signet of Air(Mobility)
Arcane Shield(Blocks)

Just know that LW has ridiculous range, so abuse this. You will still be in range for team buffs and you should only do this when you are getting rekt or when you have one of the many PUG pvt AH Guardians that only use Aegis(or any boon actually) when they need a heal.
AND never forget about Rocky, the trusty sturdy earth ele. Get aggro? Pop rocky and stand on the other side of the boss.
tbh, biggest problem is that pug’s still stack bosses that should not even be stacked anymore. They are still stuck in FGS meta w/o FGS. I’d understand in groups with 4 warriors for WW dmg, but more then 1 warrior in a group makes me cry.

Does any one have a list with power caps for each dungeon?
If not, I’m trying to find them in each one so will put them up here when i have em all.
I use 45005, but the main guard of my grp switches around depending on the fight.
Think he goes 46202 tho and picks up unscathed.
All of this depends on the encounter and should still go back to 45005 for support heavy fights.
