No one expects it to be fixed. I get it all the time, but it’s not easy to reproduce. And if more obvious, flagrant bugs don’t get fixed in 8 months… I would not have much expectations about this one.

I know HOW Arenanet works. It has been pointed, they adressed it months ago. It hasn’t been fixed yet, despite being very obvious and involving something they spent resources in (the achievement rankings). This means they looked into it, didn’t seem easy to fix, and stimated that the resources and effort are not worth it. And it will remain like this, we’ll bump this thread after every patch without fix for some more months, and eventually we will give up. If it was profitable content, or an exploitable issue (taking away the profit) this would’ve been fixed right away. But 8 months later, here we are.

No. The boss chest is set to once per day, per character. The bonus (guaranteed rare) has been set to once per day, per account, for a long time alredy.

Daily chests have been bugged since 3 patches ago. Ignored ever since.
So we have some that count as they should towards traits, and others that not. So either they are intended to work, or not. In any case, there is a bug involved. It’s not working as intended by Arenanet.

As far as I know they don’t, which is an intended design.
Can you back that up with any official statement? That would set things for good.
Restorative Strength trait from the warrior doesn’t work with Prayer to Dwayna neither. I guess it works in a different way than other healing skills, and traits don’t recognize as such.
This has been pointed out for months and ignored. It’s not getting fixed, so rethink your strategy. Or think a way to exploit it, or suggest some monetary profit for Arenanet. That always gets things done.

Sorry, but allow me to doubt that. 2250 hours across 4 different level 80’s, and I got half a dozen exotics drops. Anyone with 500 hours has got at least as many, most of people more. Not to talk about lodestones and the rest of stuff. Some of us are WAY past a stadistic anomally. And on the way to leave the game as soon as we get an alternative.
Welcome to my world. 2245 hours, and I’ve got half a dozen of exotic drops from mobs, plus roughly a dozen more out of dragon and fractals chests. Also, a dozen of lodestones in 2k hours of game. While EVERY-SINGLE-BODY with 500 hours has got at least as many (most more) drop than me. Comparatively, it long passed the time where it was stadistic bad luck, passed the time when it became a stadistic anomally, and now it’s simply a joke.
You know what happens when you play that much, and the game rewards your efforts with absolute bullkitten? That you start looking for other games. I’m checking on Forgotten Realms, while Elder Scrolls comes up. As soon as one of those two gets a good working level, bye bye gw2.
Has anyone stopped to think that maybe the animation could be a perk of the ascended version of the back piece?

This has just started happening to me too. When finishing the building of an arrow cart, getting “stuck” to it. No movement or skill had any effect for some seconds. Somehow it fixed itself every time after some seconds, but it was alredy annoying enough.
If it’s permanent for some people like OP, this sure needs an urgent fix.
This is not a bug.
You’ll always be able to do enough damage with 4 players attacking it, even if they are all condition focused. It will just take a ridiculous amount of time.
Try suggesting something about this in a more specific subforum…
Oh well, a high priority thing (as they told us the bugged berserker would be) should have been fixed already.
I cannot understand why they did not even fix it temporary (e.g. add a damage buff until they are able to fix him). It just seems they don’t care.

I can explain you WHY. The nature of the bug is complex. On the first swirl, somehow half of the hits don’t land. This is not fixed just by changing a few numbers in a damage tab. They have to go through models and dynamics to understand why some hits fail, and then fix it. This requires effort and resources. Since its not profittable, and not exploitable by players (that takes away Arenanet profit), they are not really motivated to dive into it.

Nobody gives 600g away. From Arenanet point of view, you just bought gold. Therefore, the transfer was intercepted, and you may expect a ban.
Loot Bags and Wooden Chests are both hard to see. There should be a beam of light that signifies that important loot has dropped. Not a chest/bag that blends in with everything around it. Better Yet, AUTOLOOT (I mean real Autoloot. Like, you kill mob, mobs stuff jumps into your inventory.) An easy fix will be having the Bag o Loot / Type-X Chest text permanent visible so it’s visually distinguishable through all the combat/corpses.

From the patch notes. You’ve been consistently scammed with MF. Not that you wouldn’t get more drops, only that you were not getting what you payed for. Money sink you said? kitten right!
But one of the last ones of the list. Or should be, according to what logic dictates.

Happened to me with Champion Oakheart in Queensdale. To the point I have to dance around it while solo’ing it with a ranged weapon, keeping him on the spot it spawned on, else it will get reset.
It’s not an issue with general aggro though, but with particular mobs.
I have it every now and then, but not related to banners. Haven’t pinpointed the issue yet.
MF has been the biggest scam in this game, since release…
There has got to be some internal reason they’re pointedly ignoring this.

You’re so wrong about this whole idea, I don’t even know where to start…
a) Chest rewards from boss chests do not depend on your contribution. I would have a bank full of precursors by now if it was so, from solo’ing Tequatl and Behemoth at 4am for months. As long as you do enough damage to get the bronze medal, you’ll get a chest with randomized items just like everybody else.
b) If you’re expecting to get rares or EXOTICS (hahahaha) from those chests, you’re going to be very dissapointed. Besides of the daily account guaranteed rare per boss, you’ll find a rare in that chest once each 5-10 events, and an exotic each… 50? 100? Who knows.
c) I’m sure you can get to do the few thousands of damage required to get the event bronze even by meleeing it, frostbite or not. If you have the skills of a rock and the resistance of wet paper, you can just wait for the moments it gets stunned during any of the two phases and attack it. This should happen at least 4 times, and allows you to place enough to get the gold medal without even actually contributing to the event.
d) If this is still too hard for you, grab a charrzooka from phase 1 and don’t drop it during phase 2, you will have 2000 range and you won’t die to frostbite on the safe spot, while you are still able to shoot it like the brave warrior you are.
e) The level of the loot from these events chests is determined by the character level, again not by your contribution. If you’re playing with an 80, you should not get anything under lvl75. If you’re playing with a 65, don’t expect lvl70s or more. If you consistently get 60-69s while doing it with a 80, it’s a bug.

DR starts after 10 minutes of air elemental killing. Virtually nobody has got a charged lodestone after the few minutes of killing elementals after Lyssa in months. There has been something shady about that DR for a long time. Of course, we can say it’s to avoid bots to farm that spot. But I can’t help thinking Arenanet could find better ways to fight bots not involving screweing the player that just wants a fair drop for whatever he/she is grinding for. Then again, all this works for Arenanet, curbing the inflation, and if you want something, you just have to use your credit card to get some gold.
It had infinite range. They “fixed” it (we all know how Arenanet fixes things) and buffed the range to 1200 from 900. But they didn’t actually buff it.
For next month’s patch then? The following one? In another 7 months?

@Ryan Diederich How do you know that? Please share what you did to test it? There was (is?) a similar issue with the Giver’s weapon condition duration, that was easily testable, and because of that it was easy to see it was not a UI bug, but a real functional bug. In addition, for a long time now (several months), I’ve suspected an issue with magic find stats seemingly being bugged after being killed, and now I see the Hero Panel, and it all makes sense. Pleas don’t take this the wrong way, but telling people it’s just a display issue doesn’t make it a testable fact.
