Don’t think there’s a subforum for nonsense, though. Being able to play wvw or pvp while transformed would deprive any enemy of a visual hint of what kind of armor are you using, therefore the class you might be, before the engagement.
It’s not likely to be considered.

Like Vox has said, the leash – regeneration – out of combat mechanic is not a bug, it’s required in the game to avoid trivializing fights and multiple exploits. I have thousands of hours in the game, played with different characters and therefore gamestyles, and I can say the mob mechanic works well enough in this game.
There are particular troublesome npcs that don’t behave how one would expect (Champion Rotten Oakheart in Queensdale), and we could consider bugs, but those are specific cases that maybe bringing to attention could be fixed. The mechanic is not only not bugged, it’s good.

Odd, only one of the three say ‘Soulbound to another character’.

Because the other two are the weapons he has equipped on the current character, the game shows the items of the same kind that you have equipped when hovering mouse over an item that you may equip… logically the equipped ones can’t be soulbound to any other character.
First day in the game? :P

Getting the same thing on my Guardian with Scepter and torch good damage and hits and blue and green bags only, wtf is going on?

Funnily when i was 60 ish doing the exact same events with the exact same weapons i was getting gold bags drop every time, now i’m 80 Greens and blues, really weird bugs..

After the first couple of days of crazy drops, and once the word spread and got people caught on farming, they nerfed the drop.
The problem is not as much what kind of box you get (read my explanatory theory right above), as the fact that seems that sometimes getting credit for champ killing does not drop ANY loot at all, that would be a bug indeed.

Also, do the champion bags scale just with contribution? I thought it was their level, too. I’ve killed champs singlehandedly before and got junky blue bags if not in a high zone.

The lowest level of the bag is related to the level of the zone, but the chances of getting the different qualities are, on my experience, DR related.
For example, killing the Frozen Maw chaman, you have a good chance of getting a white box (as the zone is very low level), but you can as well get an orange one. Random.
But when farming champs of the same kind on the invasion events, say the aetherblade ones, you have a way higher chance to get yellow, then even green boxes as you keep killing them, while it’s almost sure you get an orange one after a while without killing any of the kind. It’s not exactly DR, as it doesn’t go right down and permanently, but streaks of the same kind of champ seem to rise the chances of them dropping boxes of lower and lower quality.
The damage contribution has no part in it, despite of what people seem to think: a few hundreds of damage is enough to get you an orange box on the first champ, while doing thousands on the same one doesn’t save you from getting a green one after a lot of them killed on the same event.
After killing some hundreds, you clearly see a pattern there.

Funny, I’ve also noticed (on my warrior, by chance) that sometimes, even after doing massive damage to champions during the invasion events with rifle and barely none to the vets and normal ones, those champs drop no loot. I think they still give the exp, but definetly no loot drop. Even getting gold star on the event right after, pointing out something is wrong.
The DR on champs is reflected on the quality of the box dropped, but it should always drop at least a white champ box. Weirdly, it’s not dropping anything at all.
I’ve read people complaining about champ tagging credit on champ farming zergs, but in this case I’m under the impression I get credit (and therefore exp) but the loot drop goes somehow missing.

YOU deleted the character that had the items soulbound to, so YOU rendered them useless. The game didn’t delete the character, or made the items soulbound to a character that you then deleted, or changed the bind to a different character that then you deleted… The game didn’t missbehave in any unintended way – definition of bug. YOU took the actions, the game acted the way it’s intended.
The fact that you made a decission that costed you a monetary harm doesn’t make it a bug. Soulbound items are only to be handled by the character they are bound to.
Sorry for your loss, be more careful next time.

Not just AC. Go around the siege event for Shatterer, and you’ll see lots of “resurrected” ascalonians.
Long live Ascalon! It’s time to take it back from those furry kittens!
Probably related to some “fix” (I’m pretty sure by now that Arenanet and I understand different things for that word) for mesmer illusions on last big patch.

It is not a zerg-limited situation.
Take ANYTHING populated. Check this screenshot.
Lion’s Arch, model quality and limit both on medium… not drawing ANYTHING AT ALL. And the fps went down the toilet.
NO. You’re completely missing the point. It used to work fine, drawed everything, I was around 45fps consistently. They change graphics, and the engine (that was alredy pretty badly optimized) becomes utter kitten.
Something happened ON THE GAME’S SIDE. Not a problem with my computer.

I have a relatively new, medium-high video card. Never had a problem with fps, or graphic problems at all.
Now, after a “fix”, my computer has lost all its power?
It draws less than a dozen players, and only in the simple version!

I heard you’ve been touching the culling, optimizing graphics and such.
As far as I can tell, now it displays tags for everything the engine doesn’t draw, even if those tag displays are disabled.
Add that to the usual culling – that makes the engine prefer to draw useless grass/stones with no interaction with the player, 50.000 units away, before drawing enemies- even further empowered (I used to see stuff on zergs, now I see kitten) and you have a nightmare.
I am not playing on a toaster, I have a i5 @3.10GHz, 16GB RAM and a geforce gtx 650 ti.
How come you make this game more unplayable with every patch?
Is this what you understand as a “fixing” and “optimizing” stuff?

I’m playing with player models on medium and display in medium, and I still got graphic crashes TWICE in two days, during the invasions. And this had never happened to me, not even the most massive events or zergs in wvw.
So what a great graphic optimization they’ve pulled out.

This is intended so you get repeatedly disconnected during Living History invasions, taking away from you the credit for the achievements. Forcing you to play 24/7 for days until you can get them all without getting disconnected (or the game crashing to “graphic errors”).
First they set daily achievements. Then content/achievements/items only available during two weeks. And they rised the notch a level.
Their game is not keeping people so entertained as they expected, they have a HUGE game base to keep but no means to do it just by game fun ways… so they are trying other strategies. ES online is coming out soon after all, and they need us to stay where we are and buy the expansion, not move away…

You can only rally on experience, stacks, loot awarding mobs. Not on, say, objects like Nightmare mortars… OR certain summoned mobs. For example, risen kraits summon risen mobs, that grant no exp, stack or loot, and die on their own if the risen krait is killed. Certain events spawn mobs like this too. To avoid farming exploits (or whatever reason), these mobs don’t count as real mobs.
You most likely tried to rally on one of those.

There is no bug here. This is a bug subforum.
Also, there’s a subforum specifically for TP, and you can find this discussion over and over there, yet the TP is as it is for good reason.
You may take your offer out because you got undercut, and reprice it. You would be paying 5% + 5% of fees. Should the game do that math for you too, and cut the projected profit by 20% for you, so you see how much you’re going to be earning after the second offer? How many reoffers should it remember? For how long?
All this is talking for the pleasure of trolling. The moment you place your offer, that 5% is gone from your pocket, and there’s no good reason to make the game reflect that somehow. We all know that 5% is there. Knowing how much you’re going to collect is the relevant data, since the game is not really going to follow what’s the REAL PROFIT you’re going to make out of the market. It has no manner of knowing how you got the item, or how many times you have offered at what prices.
IF you want to play the market and get more accurate info, fee cut included, pick up a calculator. Leave the TP as it is.

Actually, they patched it so it could get to the middle of the Pavilion and kill afk players. I’m not kidding, someone alredy quoted the patch notes last time someone complained about these swords. So not only this is not a bug, it’s working just as Arenanet fixed it to work.

Where in the patch notes does it make mention of those greatswords?

Here the devs come to look up bugs to fix. You’re not going to get the needed attention for a nerf in this subforum. Try in dungeon subforum. There your suggestions may be read if you pile up enough people.
Here they just help to bury legitimate bugs under garbage threads.

First of all, this is not a bug. It doesn’t belong to this subforum. There are specific subforums to cry and whine about what is not benefitting oneself enough.
This said, death shroud is a second life, not an invincibility or evasion skill. Even though lot of necromancers have exploited it in a manner of such. Forcing to be twitched and fixed to avoid it.
Death shroud will still save you from an attack that would down even the toughest warrior on one hit, even if your build as necro is not tanky. But won’t save you from an insta-down skill, as it shouldn’t. Those will, regardless of your build and your remaining hp, down you unless you dodge, evade or invul it. As it should be.
And for the record, I own a necro. I’ve just seen too much exploit and bug surrounding death shroud to let this slip.

Even if his mail is not full, delete old mails. He might need to delete ALL of them.
Also, is his account new? The system may be considering you are doing something illegitimate by sending him something way above his possibilities.

In any case, the new wallet thing has sent a system mail per character (even more if you got sent to an overflow), all of them to add up as you log in with different characters, destroying older mails if necessary. So even if he has space in mail now, if he had 10/10 at the time, he might have lost some of his mails to the wallet warnings… and if the one you were sending him if it was queued.

c) How does the bear remain visible? You mean that you see yourself as a bear after the transformation wears off? Something like this?

And I’m afraid you won’t get anything out of Arenanet about this.
As we’ve commented, some patches ago they changed fear to make it consistent with conditions and not clasify it as a stun any more. Counting as one of them, not as the other any more.
It was a meditated decission, so I doubt they’re just going to revert it “because”.

This happens to a lot of people (or everybody, I couldn’t tell). Half of the time, without any particular circumstance, right click only displays report option. No chance to invite/join party, forcing to use the party UI and manually type the player name.
This has been consistently reported for months, ignored this far. Not a big money loss in gemstore? Forget about fix.

I’m under the impression that you don’t fully understand what “literally” means.
If I’m wrong, and your screen is literally covered in spiders, try wiping them off before trying to play.
About the boss to that path, it has been brought to attention several times, so it seems like the tweaking is intentional. Or that they just don’t care :P

I’ve seen a couple of wargs attacking a third one, while this last one did nothing, somewhere a couple of days ago.
I wonder, how does this even happen? There’s no sort of class system that determines what attacks what? How do 2 npcs of the same class attack each other?

The wargs are in Brisban Wildlands. There are also two bears “sparring” with each other in Queensdale.

For what you are seeing I am guessing it involves projectiles and reflection skills.

But I bet the wargs are not. There are from the same kind of npc, and two are attacking one that doesn’t fight back, and regenerates health as if it was ooc.

In theory, there would be a faction system in place to determine what will attack what (say, the Black Citadel faction will attack the Ascalonian Ghost faction, and so forth), but I’m not sure if anything like that is being used.

So, if not being used, they determine for each npc spawned a list of relations with any other npc, every time? That’s just crazy. There MUST be a faction/class system of some kind. But how come some particular npcs ignore it?

To be fair, a change such as this probably should have been included in the patch notes.

If you’re looking for transparency from the devs, bug fixing, and making the players a priority instead of the regular fanboy purchasers, you’re in the wrong game :P

The hp bug involving the bar display and the targetting of a phantom mob/item that are dead alredy is in fact very easy to reproduce. Just target something with a health bar and kill it. All this should make you realise how much they even play their own game.
