Bugfield4 just released a top issue tracker. While I’m sure no one likes bugs, I do appreciate their effort to make such a list and I hope GW2 can adopt such tracker.
It makes it clear for everyone to know what is being investigated, and what is a bug. Now we are often in a situation that don’t know certain behavior in game is bug or something intended. Such a list will definitely makes it clear.

Can you make the snowflake spawn faster? I like to run different paths. But I have to stop mid way to wait for the flake to spawn every single time. That turns me away from the left path.
And the present change makes everyone just wait at checkpoint for someone to sacrifice, not cool!

Please elaborate. How do you cross the presents? Because I’ve been trying dozens of ways to cross those things, but once one player has set a few of them off, it is like they are rigged to instantly kill the next person trying to go across.
It is indeed super evil. The presents waits for player and explode. And it’s quite random unlike last year, makes it much harder. One trick is to wait at the platform, wait for some noob/hero to sacrifice and trigger the explosions. (or you can use the checkpoint to trigger so you can still get back.) When the present reappear, don’t wait for the blue box to appear, jump straight to the 1st present, go straight up.
I don’t like the change. Basically everyone just wait at the platform for someone to be the man.
You can get away with 50ar at level 40. If you are currently at 40 then you already have a bunch of +1 infusions. It won’t take long to make your own to +10. I already have 36 of the infusions and I only casually play GW2. It isn’t expensive to make the infusions either. Your only buying the one item from the vendor at 15s. He gives you 10 and it only requires 1 of those during each craft of an infusion.
+10 takes 511* +1…….
Nah, 45 AR is what you get from trinkets and you’ll melt @ lvl40. If you want to go higher, say 55AR. It’s cheaper to craft ascended weapon than 2 +10AR infusion.
I used to run this in some fights before the nerf just for the rez. Now I don’t even bother.
Fractal lvl 40’s instability plus the two new boss fractals really punishes insufficient AR.
I had 2* +1 drops but no +2 or anything higher.

Saves you from being cc chained.
I like they finally added a real mark for us.
But do you need 100% uptime?
SWalk’s appeal over signet, to me it’s the stun breaker, plus the life force.
Swiftness is good but not that important compare to above. When ooc running you can switch skill anytime so you can still bring signet. When trying to get out of combat, you either successfully run out within 30s or get caught already. So guess it really comes down to whether you melee or range and do you need swiftness to catch people in combat.
You better don’t bring (condition) necro to fractal 38.
And to the topic, really I don’t see power necro’s value in fractal. Anything we do can be replaced with other classes. Power necro has next to no support except well of suffering for vulnerable or well of darkness. Condition necro has more cc but still useless facing defiant. And ofc, most important thing in fractal is reflect which we have none.
Epidemic would be useful on 43 but I think that’s it.

Back to topic, dev live stream would be awesome, not just for that level but any live stream is fun to watch.
We had the exact same combination like the OP. Boy that was…. “fun”. Thank whatever god is listening for fire elemental powder.
But honestly, I happen to dislike 36 + volcanic much much more.
See, Volcanic is one of those fractals that need strategy but isn’t obnoxious like the dredge. You just need to spam your projectile reflects, have anti elemental potions, have fire elemental powder and wait between phases to have Tome of Courage ready.
I have absolutely no trouble with the last fight in volcanic at 36, but the event before that. No slow/immobilize effects on the grawl trying to push the hostages over the edge is not that funny, believe me.
Doable? Yes. Funny? No!
I tried 36 3 times and 2 times I got volcanic. One group has 2 hostages death and the other is perfect. I think it’s really down to your party’s dps, burst it down and you’re good. Also knockback still works.
In fractal, some fight you usually do in range, some in melee. Play more and you’ll know. Everything can be melee’d tho. But really, don’t torture yourself, for some bosses, just range and don’t feel bad.
Don’t even bother joining those. Everyone has preference. They can choose their teammate so can you. Just wait another minute to join another group or just start your own.
Agree, some are old bugs and some are new. Really glad OP listed all of these.
A few really is game breaking. The reactor one for example, we bugged the fractal and we had to do the overheat room with suicide runs with mesmer and necro etc……we are lucky we could continue, I can imagine many can’t.
Also the ascalon npcs are acting super weird. Once they aggro, after they wipe, they will rush to the enemy as soon as they are rezed. And you can’t properly pull and kill anymore because npc will draw the aggro for you.
Are those a bug or intended?
Some of the fights are super annoying now. Flame shaman is too tall already. Now my camera has to touch ground to properly see him.
Same for maw. Sometimes I couldn’t see the skull on top of my head.
What weapons do you really like?
Scepter. It has one goal that is condition and every skills of the weapon does that. I like how they tie life force with condition on target as well.
Dagger. It’s melee yet having enough tools to control and gain a little bit range on demand.
What weapons do you almost like, or like conceptually, but feel they have issues performing as well as they should?
WH. Good interrupt, good swiftness, decent swarm to keep enemy hit if out of melee range. Problem is in wvw or pve, it might put you in combat hitting moa/objects if only mobility is wanted.
Staff. Despite the nerf, it has good freeze/fear for group control. Condition transfer is weak now I think it’s out of equation. Staff 1,2 is kinda in a weird position. 1 is direct dmg yet 2 is condition. So is the damage on staff 3,4. And then comes the regen that trigger on enemy. Every utilities is good but put together on a single weapon, it’s kinda a mess.
What weapons do you feel fall short?
Axe. They try to make it a vuln stacking weapon but auto 1 is way too weak even with trait. There are so many other much simpler and faster options to stack vuln without taking a big hit in dps. Axe2 has good burst for 2s but that’s it. Axe 3 is for user to gain a little range with cripple, anti-melee by retal and boon strip that i dunno exactly know what the purpose is. But then it’s a 600range weapon so what range you really want to gain? This weapon is just horrible.
Just pugged yesterday. One of the best group I had.
Checked a couple plastic surgery place and they don’t seem to include name change service.

Epic battle between Gods vs tiny people interacting with switches?
Really confused by the fight last night. Not damaged by anything but I got agony just from hitting firestorm. Berserker was on the other side of the platform and I didn’t step on any aoe.
I believe the berserker’s wave do some agony but I’m not entirely sure.
Also, the gear check only happens at start & when one boss die right?
Usually I get 5MB/s after patch but now I just got home and start the download, it started ~20kB/s and soon 0. Only a few hundreds KB downloaded. Restarted client a few times but same.

J.Smith tossed out a similar argument (with the same level of explanation as yourself — i.e. none). Long term investments can still be made: (1) put the item in your vault, (2) sell when you are ready to liquidate. There’s no need to use the TP as your investment vault.

Not all market move so fast that as soon as you put it up, it sells. It’s not uncommon for something to sit on the TP for quite a bit of time to sell. Something not selling this week doesn’t necessarily mean you overprised, it could be just no one buy it. Wait another week then it might sell. What you suggest only make it more ridiculous having to relist things everyweek.
There’s no penalty for undercutting a buy order. I find this frustrating as some players use tools to constantly adjust their buy order so it’s always first in line. The tools use the current web services to simply tell them (within a couple minutes of accuracy) that their buy order is no longer the highest.
If someone has that patience and time to always adjust the buy order, they should be awarded with that effort.

460 is plenty of capital, a 2,000g investment making 200g sounds very low ball and risk free it’s easy to turn 2k into 3k it just depends on the material.
10% ROI is not bad with that amount of investment.
The more you have the more you make.
That is not entirely true. And you’re missing what Mystic said at the first. “Percent”.
I can easily turn 10g into 20g, that’s 100% ROI.
But it’s impossible to turn 1000g into 2000g with the same method. The more you have, the less percent of return you get.

Actually for a long time, and not sure if it is still there, the Wiki said something to the effect, that a burn would always take the highest available condition damage coefficient, and just apply the damage to whoever had the burn ticking.
So if someone had a weak burn and someone else had a strong burn in the queue, the weak burn would in fact use the stronger burn players condition damage, and just pass that damage back to the weaker player.
It doesn’t work this way, but I do remember historically at some point it was listed that way. The wiki isn’t exactly the best tool for accuracy though.

I read it somewhere longago that suggest duration stacked boon/conditions, including burning, healing, poison, etc, follows condition damage/healing power priority. And from observation, my necro really has a much higher chance of landing burning compare to my guardian. Hence the assumption.
Now that it proves to follow FIFO priority but given how often burning appear on my screen, I still think Dhuumfire is worth taking.
tbh, I don’t get these arguments. It’s just two different build set up. Heck, just two condition builds and necros are going crazy. I don’t know what would happen if given 4,5 guardian builds.
Yea 2500g is ok but 2700g is not ok . Why keep rising it ? It’s ridiculous , its going to be 4000g in a month then .

Take a moment, try picking a price that isn’t either of the two presented. Also if it only takes 1 or 2 or even 5 minutes to sell everything, that would be great. For example, 5s per item imo, is long already but I am not even sure if that’s error free. That means one minute you can only sell 12 items. I don’t know you, but I often have hundreds of items to sell.
What a nice idea, someone buys 1.5 million of cheap quartz, causing panic on the forums, prices rise up, and then that person dumps quartz back into the market and enjoys the profit.

Condition necro will need huge defiant/unshakable revamp to work. You can see they “want to” do a lot of things. But from the current route GW2 is heading (Balance for pvp, content for pve), balancing like that is probably in a rather lower piority in pve. I don’t see it in any near future.
Condition cap is ofc another problem. Again, that involves a technical problem that is even harder to solve than the defiant, which is just mechanics design change. So I would expect, if they ever decided to change these, the defiant change to come first.
You just reach lvl80 so suggest you don’t be too hurry into the money making world. Many (almost all) things are profitable in PVE. You can gain good money from dungeon. Easy rare drops from world boss events. A lot of blues & greens if you champ farm. Also gathering is profitable.
TP is possible but it needs much patient and time investment. So I would avoid that unless you like looking at stock market instead of playing an MMO.
Leaderboard is probably made to shut up the elitist.

there was not a single comment from a dev… I played a gamemode without no great rewards cause it was hard .. if they Change fractals I would Play it againt to look if it’s hard if it’s easy I probably would make another scale 80 Video of the new dungeon and tell it was easy that’s all how could I care about leaderboards but they’re taking away my hard work if they resett this they can resett legendaries as well… because ppl took the easy way getting rng precursors instead of crafted ones

All current infused rings and backpacks will start with a +5 agony resist infusion (this replaces the +5 agony resist that was previously on the item itself).

2 hours of train = 15 gold.
2 hours of FotM 48 = 1 gold.
Please stop comparing fotm to other form of farming. Fotm rewards you fractal weapons & ascended rings & ascended weapon box & one of the best karma in-game & one of the coolest back item. Gold is not the only currency in GW2.
Just remove champions from open world and make them Elite mobs . See every1 though I was crazy when. I made my post champ farming needs more nerf. People get gold for pressing 111 . No good , gw2 is for casuals but not for dummies . I still have my brain ( I think ) I can press more buttons than autoattack.
I tried Dolyak farming the first time last time. While I agree that is an exploit of the event failing system, I had the most intense fight EVER in game. That was comparable running in organized zerg in wvw. Pressing 1? Yes. But the epicness is beyond reach from Lupicus fight. And people still wipe. If one way I think GW2 open world should head, the Dolyak farm battle it is.
Players choose to champ farm instead of Tower of Nightmare not because champ farm is too profitable. But instead, it’s tower of nightmare not profitable enough.
Look at Queen’s jubilee. Gauntlet and Pavilion were “successful”. Even though FGS/Ember existed back then. Why? simply because the LS gave good loot. I’m not saying I like Pavilion, but it was a successful event.
So back to present, is the tower’s “failure” the fault of champ farm? No.
