They must have some sort of night crew if they’re stomping CD which some of you Ebay’ers pointed out they have a massive night crew and night cap everything.
Actually, Maguuma just outnumbers them in general, CD’s amazing night presence is long gone and is mostly just Awe holding them in t4. I believe you guys are talking about DB who has the amazing night presence, who is currently wrecking in t3.

Rangers are severely underestimated. Most people dont even know that a ranger Healing Spring Water Field last twice as long as the Staff Elementalists Healing Rain (Staff Water #5) and has just about the same cool down to it as well. Which makes for more time for allies to rally up inside the water field as well as increasing the number of individual blast finishers possible.
I’ll take my ranger over a staff elementalist any day of the week. (Although Staff Elemenatlist have a more natural affinity to group combat and zerg v zerg due to multiple AoEs)
While pets are often limiting in zerg v zerg. All it takes is a smart ranger who doesnt always fight with his pet. He might keep it on passive, use it for defensive CCs when enemies break rank and close in. Send it out on a weak target running out of the zerg ball.
But their immobilzes, condi dmg support, ranged CC advantage, as well as their pressure on the battle field is not something to be ignored.
I have an 80 Ranger and have racked up well over 5k kills with various builds. They are not under estimated. They are the weakest, least scary class in WvW. At no point do I walk up to ranger 1v1 and lose… just doesn’t happen. They cannot bunker well, they can be glassy for little cannon, very few AoE skills, most ranged attacks require targeting so stealth stops them cold, vines is on a HUGE cool down and has a terrible/obvious wind up, their best heal essentially roots them, not much condition removal, cannot escape well, they walk around with portable thief stealth devices and they just got a good stun breaker but it leaves them without a heal for a few seconds. Even worse the quickness debuf really hit power rangers hard.
They are good bag droppers in groups and never follow one into the water but otherwise my thief (80), elementalist (80) and warrior (80) are better in virtually every way including superior LB (warrior), SB (thief), sword and dagger attacks… heck a warrior can even use a rifle over a “Range-r”.
Lmao. If you want to get destroyed by a ranger I can arrange it sir, please bring any of those professions.
And then people get mad when I call them bad. Im laughing really hard right now, it’s post like this that truly display how people don’t learn to play correctly.

Well used to be average, mostly because people only auto attacked.
But once they learned to use trap, or that they could build a bunker and still have descend damage (BM build) with like 5-6 dodge in a row, they became strong.
I don’t see much Trap/Bunker Ranger in WvW, but in tPvP they are a pain.
95% of all rangers in WvW are utter crap. Rangers alone are amazing just because of the water field they provide, and entangle in addition to many other things.

PK is another zerg. I have yet to fight them in a small group. Just yesterday, they actually stopped, stacked then charged 20 of there player just to kill me and a warrior. I doubt you needed to stack for that, or maybe we were just at the bad place at the wrong time.
That sounds like a training exercise. You will see a lot of stopping, organizing and then moving as a unit to take small or insignificant objectives when we run training events – like control points or small groups.
PK is extremely diverse. It’s split into squads that have very different purposes and are led by different people who employ very different strategies. We have a zerg element that we all participate in from time to time, most often you will find it running mid afternoon and in primetimes. So, I guess it all depends on what your definition of a zerg is and what time you are expecting to encounter us.
So that was the second case, wrong place at the wrong time. I hope to see your ganking squad then
And I used to consider 10+ a zerg, but right now, I often see 50++ people in the same zerg, I should maybe change my definition!

Then stop roaming in 10 man groups and make 2-3 player group like a man.
Seriously tho, Before getting into this match up, I was looking forward to fight BP again and the new Ebay.
I thought Ebay had a lot of roamers, including GF, Sekz, PK and more.
But sadly it was all lie!!!
Sekz are a zerg. Each time I had the pleasure to fight them, it was like 20 vs 3. So I never got to fight them in small skirmish. I fought an Elementalist in BP low land once from Sekz, but I was running my confusion build so he died, as confusion is OP in WvW.
I thought Sekz had some roaming team? Where are they?
PK is another zerg. I have yet to fight them in a small group. Just yesterday, they actually stopped, stacked then charged 20 of there player just to kill me and a warrior. I doubt you needed to stack for that, or maybe we were just at the bad place at the wrong time.
And finally GF, the only guild that looks like a roaming team. But they are more of a Zerg buster team. They are too many for our small group, yet they aren’t a zerg ether. We had some fun fight with them, but I have to bring more people to be on equal footing. We actually helped WAR fight you guys yesterday and it was awesome.
This week is so zergy since the patch. Good thing st least we can see them without culling.
Get your small group squad out!
We generally do run in 5-8 on average during primetime and like 1-3 people in the morning. Only on occasion do we actually have our full 15.

Put in our place? We’ve spent only slightly more than half a day (cumulative) with the lowest PPT this matchup out of almost 5 days total so far – ten hours of which have been within the last day. Our lead has steadily increased by 5-10k every day. Check the stats yourself.
Our lead is increasing. That’s the opposite of being put in our place. Sure, the last 10 hours haven’t been as kind to us as the rest of the week, but it hasn’t been some crazy breakout period with PPTs of 600+ for AR and BP either.
Also, on a side note, it’s kind of funny to see that for all the talk Kalkz gives of his super PvDoor skills, BP has spent each and every night on the bottom of the tally charts.
Two points:
- I was calling out Errbay trolls. see: reading comprehension
-You said something about ppt and numbers. Yet Errbay (the server) is losing Glicko Rating points. You see, you were expected to do better than a 30k lead ( on Thursday) against two T6 servers.
Week 1, you lost by 40k.
Week 2, you win by close to 100k
Wee 3, you are looking at a 40-50k win.
I suggest you refrain about patting your self on the back for having a 30k lead on two servers who have never been past their current ranking.
You Errbay ( the server, not the trolls) have been in T4. You are expected to win, in fact you are expected to win by a lot more than 30k.

The multiple wipes we caused you in Greenbriar, Bay, and Hills were not as good as wiping your Portal/Stealth bomb South of Hills on the bridge, shortly after having to wipe Borliss who was behind you chasing you or something.

Yeah, I admit we did get wiped by WAR and BURN a few times, but we had significantly less numbers, as stated we were running around 10. I don’t run a fraps or video recording but I can assure you there was more than 15. Regardless, you are still better than AR! Take solemn in that.

Meh Reset night is fun, was amazing loot bag fest from BP. Wave after wave BURN and WAR just never learned, but that’s ok you guys got us a few times as well. As for AR, lol, you guys are worse than BP in the open field. If fighting BP makes me feel like a god, then fighting AR makes me feel like the creator of the dam universe it’s that easy.

Ouch, everyone be hatin’ on my level of inebriation when I posted last night. Or jealous? Or mad? I wasn’t even on my main and we were still wrecking face all day in EBay’s BL. Only reason we ever died was because we were outnumbered 2-1 or Ebay decided to play Horde mode with us by respawning in wave after wave after wave and throwing themselves onto our swords.
Only guild on EBay I have any respect for is Sekz. I’d like to say pK too, but I’ve only fought them when they’ve had 3x our numbers so I can’t really say for sure how good they are, though they moved really well as a unit. ECHO has some good players, but they have no honor in battle, in my experience, so I don’t respect them.

I Guess Ebay gave us everything today at night, Still not enough to match Borlis Pass. nice try, I LOVE how i hear you call our zergs and guilds are a joke and you turn into forum warriors inside your forums and trash Borlis Pass. the server that came from t6 and now is 30k points ahead of you

For all the “forum warriors” we have, at least our players don’t have to go over to BP’s community and tell you guys how we think it should be run before saying we lost respect towards you all. Evilzara dresses up BP as one big, giant friendly server that has nothing but good things to say about its opponents. This thread is a giant testament otherwise. No server is like that, and if there is, then it’s lacking in population because kittenheads are everywhere on the internet.
Evilzara, if you want to read a few players saying BP sucks on a “pep rally” thread and take that as the voice for our entire server, then go right ahead and be a hypocrit. You are trash talking the rest of us who are trying to be good sports by saying EBay is a server of crybabies and trolls. You probably didn’t even read any other thread on that forum aside from that one. If you think our forums are full of “BP sucks” comments, then educate yourself by sifting through our 30k other posts.
To BP – I have to say, I lost a lot of respect towards your commander. Don’t worry though, I’m not going to go around telling everyone on my server that you guys have nothing better to do than to talk crap about us and cry over invader’s forums when a few comments on the internet offend your delicate sensibility. We have people like Evilzara as well. One person is not representative of your entire server, and I hope those of you with some sense don’t take a few voices from the forums as representative of our server either.
