Easy, move up. The problem here isn’t BP or AR as both AR and BP are well matched.

The problem is Ebay’s inability to move out of this tier all the while complaining (whining) that they don’t get a challenge. EBay had more than enough of a challenge in T4 which is what landed them here. Ebay was a pushover in T4 and never moved from 3rd place.

We were actually in second place for a few weeks way back. Not everyone on the server wants to move up which is why our population throughout the week slowly declines, however the hardcore players do want to move up, and have already known since the first week that AR and BP are nothing in terms of challenge in the open field.

After logging in and reading what’s become of this thread already tonight, I couldn’t agree with you more. Sadly it really seems to be a handful of really annoying people who ruin it for everyone else and the more reasonable people who just want to have fun are sick of these weekly threads being dominated by negativity.

Its one thing to have a little trakittenalking to hype up competition when its done in good fun, and its another thing to be a sore-loser or an arrogant winner. I guess this is why the threads keep getting locked , which looks likely to continue until some of the repeat offenders are muted.

I found a carebear! These creatures are indigenous to being bad, but nice because of it, they are what you call khao, which is soft white rice in lukewarm water. It has no taste. Befitted to small babies and very old people. It is nourishment that everyone can digest. The world needs khao, just as the world needs people like carebears.

Actually, I feel the same way as Stone does, and when I dueled you on your mesmer (3 weeks ago?) it was 3-1-1 in favor of yours’ truly (and the draw only because I was experimenting with S/D). Being from BP, this thread leads me to believe I am inherently bad … so what does that make you? ;P

yea ebay doesn’t bother with AR because AR isn’t a threat. i have yet see AR hold any keep in Ebay BL.

AR is only eating scraps.. and while those scraps are sorta working for them, i can’t see how it’s much fun.

BP takes and holds Ebay BL..for 24 hours… and AR eats the scraps left over in Eternal.

BP could easily just decide.. heck lets hit AR and push for 2nd… but what would be the point of that? AR and BP just focusing on each other doesn’t hurt the 1st place zerg server.. just helps them stay in first.

BP focusing on Ebay, just leaves ar to eat the scraps, which still keeps ebay in 1st, but at least keeps the scores closer

AR and BP focusing on Ebay at the same time, brings the tier in an overall line of balance, it’s much better fun for everyone.

AR is a much bigger threat than BP will ever be because, they are better players. You haven’t taken anything from us in prime time in weeks, only when we are asleep (fact). In addition, your server has been caught many times glitching through keeps/towers. In fact while we are busy defending last night/this morning from Kalkz trying to nightcap, AR took a lot of our stuff in eternal, happy with your 2v1?

I don’t support exploiting but when you catch Kalkz or anyone on BP actually exploiting then you have every reason to complain. If you just assume it’s exploiting without any proof, then there isn’t much myself or anyone on BP can do.

You most likely saw a pk group doing either a training or alt event. If you want real fights all the time then gather your server and give EBay a run this week, else they’ll just train for when they get to T4 (in a year or so at the rate EBay is going)… IMHO, WvW guilds even having the time for training and other events just shows how stuck in a rut/bored/not worried EBay is at the moment

Usually if you get people to emote on your body, that means you pist them off. I know because zergs will constantly jump on my body after chasing me across the map. I take it as a compliment and move on.

I don’t think increasing damages is necessary at all for the most part. Everything except for sword adre does great damage, in retrospect to the other burst skills. Yes traits need tweeking but I think the main concern is the ability to survive long enough. I speak mostly for WvW, as for PvE you can faceroll everything and I dont give a hoot about sPvP.

Enduring Pain on a 60 second cooldown like Elixir S OR Complete Invul (no damage and no condition damage) for those 4 seconds at the 90 second cooldown.

While in T4, I remember you talking a lot smack about zergs and how other servers had crap skill players compared to EBay. Course now they are all still T4 or higher and Ebay is in T5… hmmm. Maybe you should have put more effort in to stay in T4 if you wanted a bigger challenge.

in T4 when it was mag/YB they would actually come out and play, yes they do zerg (all servers have some sort of zerg) while in this tier unless they have tons of seige or numbers no one will come out of their tower/keep to fight.

Same for EBay in Eternal, tired of chasing 3 guys all the way back to SM because they see one solo guy and they got hit(oh no!). My poor necro isn’t that fast, and its hard to catch you guys when you run for the nearest safe structure.

Confusion is fine as is. I’ve never lost to a confusion build.

It’s a fact you don’t know how to play warrior properly. I never die on my warrior because I can pick and choose fights with the mobility I have. In a group setting you should be the direct-damage aoe with hammer, sometimes great sword. I would argue we have some the best CC actually.. However, this doesn’t mean warriors don’t need some “help”

Things I would like to see:
More Range on skills, at least 400…
Conditions no longer go through enduring pain or reduced cool down on it
Stances need something besides just “one” ability..maybe like protection with balanced stance, although that might be Op.

There is no “armor” that gives cavalier stats. Only back pieces/jewelery. If you are talking about that, then yes you can buy exotics with karma in Orr.

I’d like to chime in and say this is true. Today he built rams at the supply depots for no reason. In addition he would man siege when we were holding tight spots like lord room and not use it.

I think Ebay’s Borderland was empty yesterday because of the zerg they sent to OL in Eternal Battlegrounds to finish taking everything we had, It was an epic defense on AR’s part. So Errrbay, was it 6 or 8 Golems plus I don’t know how many pieces of seige equipment you lost at the gates before your 60 to 70 man zerg finally triumphed over our outmanned forces and took Overlook? Equally funny is that it was a very expensive fight on your side and extremely SHORT lived as we took back not only Overlook from you but all of our side of Eternal less than 10 minutes later. ( ps. nice try at the spawn camping by the way, FAIL!) We built the 2 Trebs at Veloka that you just had no defense planned for ;-) and evicted you from our overlook.

We also decided to take some of BP’s towers (overreaching on your keep there BP ;-) sorry about the damage!) since we had the momentum.

We may be down but we are not out! While you can obviously out man us (EB) you can not out play us. All in All a good couple of hours worth of epic fights in EB yesterday. Looking forward to reset, maybe all the AR players playing with the dang box of fun will come back and support not only our borderlands but Eternal too!!!

Hardly lol. As it stands its DBs NA + Oceanic vs just YBs NA. If YB had any night crew they would be winning. Simple as that. I’m not even on Yaks Bend and I can see this btw.

There’s quite a bit of difference between having, and I quote “any sort of nightcrew” and having a night crew that can actually put up any measurable resistance to NNK and TFV. If you look back a month or so, you will remember that even fighting TC and FA, the DB night crew was consistently putting up between +400 and +500 for 4-6 hours. Having a token night crew would change absolutely nothing. YB would need to acquire astonishingly massive numbers of people for it to make any difference at all.

Edit: Also, if you look at the ppt evolution for DB, you’ll notice that it rarely drops below 200, even during the strongest times for YB. DB day crew has gotten significantly stronger over the past several months. It would take far more than a bit of a night crew for YB to actually beat DB in this matchup.

Having 1-2 Guilds as opposed to none would help. Just holding home BL + pie in eternal would be enough to win should they take the PPT during NA. I’ve fought YB before, they have absolutely no one except for those who stay up so yes, even a “token night crew” would help. Believe what you like.

How are the battles in T5?

t5 is the boringest tier ever. I used to accuse Yaks Bend of just zerging, but it’s quite the opposite, t5 is just zergs all day. I literally saw a 60 man AR zerg in their BL last night, that would run after three people, needless to say it was pathetic. Keep up the fight in t3 Yaks Bend, if you guys had a night crew you would be on the top.

And then people get mad when I call them bad. Im laughing really hard right now, it’s post like this that truly display how people don’t learn to play correctly.

I want to believe you as I really like the Ranger class but after nearly 15k total kills (5k with a Ranger) and less than 1k total deaths mostly from skirmishing (I rarely run with a zerg and belong to a 5 man WvW guild), I have never been bested by one in a WvW skirmish and I cannot recall ever having to run from one. This is not true of every other class I have fought against.

There may be some secret sauce out there but I have never found it. Neither from builds I have tried or builds I have fought.
