I’m not backing out of anything. I get on WvW to play with my friends not duel outside of Orgrimar/Ironforge. Never understood those people. The game isn’t a 1v1 game. The classes aren’t designed for 1v1.

Also the reasons the stats are manipulated in sPvP is for balance. Which is why you can’t get a 100%+ bonus crit damage in sPvP but you can in WvW. So no actually fight club does in fact NOT determine skill. It let’s you play rock, paper, scissors with the classes.

And the reason I know you’re mad is because your own server sounds like they want to disown you. lol

The invulnerability zone is a little behind the arrow cart position, and even so the arrow cart is not invulnerable, so what’s the matter?.

Wrong, they are built above and on it. So what’s the matter? It’s an exploit, you aren’t allowed to build siege in a no siege deployment zone. I also took the liberty to report the other guilds using them, such as CL. And im not saying YB as a whole are exploiters so don’t even go there.

Outside opinion, having fought all: PK was not good in the open field. GH and FTF were much better open field fighters. Anyone can man ballistas, arrow carts, and trebs. Not everyone can put up a good fight in the open field.

No ques on anything but home border, but that wasn’t till a few hours after reset. I absolutely love the fact YB is getting mad about the truth. I don’t understand why it’s hard to admit when you outnumber someone, and win because of it. It’s like saying Jade Quarry is just more organized than SoR or SoS or Kaineing was more organized than all those low pop servers that they drove through. Get it through your head, you aren’t winning because of “superior organization”, it’s numbers.

Everything else you stated happens in every tier either your Server is the Zerger or the Zerged. The zerged will call you the Zerger. All depends on your population in relation to your opponents.

Let me rephrase that. CD and YB have huge zergs everywhere, all they do is zerg, more zerg, sometimes break up into 20 man zergs, then zerg some more. Of all professions i’ve seen today is crap glass cannon thiefs, rifle warriors who just sit behind the zerg kill shotting everyone for an easy 10k because omg they are too glass cannon. And then theres the thiefs who are spamming black powder with heart seeker spam for infinite stealth. Yes this tier is amazing. Oh and in addition, CD has been using gears a lot.

Yep, confusion needs to be nerfed. Even my friend who has a mesmer says so. If you’re saying otherwise, then you’re silly and have ZERO experience fighting a good confusion mesmer. Atleast lower it to the damage it does in PvP. In WvW the damage is just absurd. Like 8 stacks or so of confusion on a warrior will do a ridiculous 5,000 damage just because he DODGE ROLLS….you know to avoid more confusion attacks.

We’ve done done tests using classes with as many condition removals as possible and the good mesmer can keep confusion on you the entire time. You can be a warrior with mending, shake it off (letting auto trait trigger then using it manually after), and rune of the soldier so conditions are removed when you use a shout, and you will still have constant confusion put on you. It’s too easy to apply.

It’s pretty obvious it needs to be tweaked in WvW. Damage is cut down by 50% in PvP. You cannot argue that it doesn’t need balancing if Anet already did it for PvP.

Ima go ahead and call you out. 8 Stacks of confusion even with 2.1k condition damage (what i have) isn’t even 4k a tic on confusion, so theres a lie. Second, there is absolutely no way to maintain 5+ stacks of confusion unless the person does not remove them. Damage was never cut down in sPvP, it was enhanced in WvW and PvE. I like how bad players will do anything to nerf something they can’t beat.

Unfortunately there isn’t much you can do since he was prob running permastealth abusing the crap out of cloak and dagger etc. The only option would be to get like 10+ stacks at once and hope he instant downs himself or go power and shatter his brains in. Yeah abusing stealth mechanic to cover up lack of skill, this is the new age of mmo.

Very few decent players would allow a mesmer 3 seconds of freedom. Unless they blinked which was another conf hit, stlhed another conf hit, or CA.

Or instead of blaming it on confusion, you could just admit you wouldn’t have won the 3v1 regardless because I dunno, its a 3v1. I will state this again, 2+ good players vs 1 good player, the 1 player will never ever win under any circumstances. That whole post essentially looks like this, “I died to confusion, and rather than learn to work around the fact that confusion exists in the game and will be applied to me at one point or another, it should be nerfed.”

Also, confusion builds aren’t new, D/D Ele’s aren’t new, and Thieves and the things they do aren’t new to this game. So why aren’t we seeing these groups running around everywhere composed of what I am deciding to call, “The Three Amigos” right now?

Hrm, actually a lot of gank groups and dueling heros use mesmers, elementalists, and thieves as their primary composition. More balanced groups also carry the other classes (and generally do better in greater than 5v5 fights).

Interesting to note that there really aren’t that many “gank group” compositions in our matchup. None from IoJ and a just a few from EB that we steamroll. I doubt DR has any as well.

erm the doge thing is because of a trait that adds confusion to ANYTHING that enters or exits a glamour field and a good glamour mesmer will actually pull u through the glamour fields with temporal curtain, so u will end up with 25 stacks. But all this has to do with skill, rather than an op condition. I think that every class has certain abilities, that seem op in the eye of someone that gets destroyed by it. Thieves destroy people with their stealth C&D and backstab, ele’s tornado skills,mistforms and aoes, warriors 100blades and so on… I’m sure some of these things have to be a little adjusted or already have been. Sure, it is annoying to get 25 stacks of confusion, but our recharging of those abilities takes quite long and it does require a lot of skill to be a good confusion or glamour mesmer.

There is no way for one mesmer to put 25 stacks of confusion on a single target at once even using glamor fields.

Would be extremely overpowered if it stacked in intensity.

To the OP (and supporters of a confusion nerf) – I would have no problem with this if ANet would give us another burn or reliable condition that YOU can’t control. Total BS. It’s not like you always have a condition removal available and the conditions can be reapplied faster than your condition removals come back up so you will often be in situations where you have heavy confusion stacks on you with no removal.

Don’t even pretend like that is not true. And, doing nothing is not always a viable option if the fight is not a 1v1. The one guys says… “just don’t attack” without recognizing that anything you do causes damage. One guy putting confusion on you while another is attacking you completely shuts you down when your condition removal is gone since you can not take offensive or defensive moves. And insisting that everyone run around with condition removal heavy builds just to counter this is stupid.

Go ahead and call me “bad” as part of your argument all you want, I’ll just call you people protecting the crutch that you are leaning on in return.

I will use the fact you are “bad” as an argument since you are a guardian and I know guardians have huge removal conditions with any build since i play one and have never had a problem with confusion mesmers. How many people pull off 2v1 with good players? 2 good players will never lose to one good player. Rethink your organization and build then come back and complain.

If you want confusion nerfed, then I want burst damage nerfed.

At least I can dodge burst damage. I can’t dodge confusion damage. I guess it’s stupid of me to go 15 points in the Honor tree though. I should L2P.

Lol what won’t the WvW community complain about. Confusion doesn’t need a nerf, this is a completely L2P issue considering a lot of people don’t have problem with Confusion mesmers, so to have anet nerf it just because bad players is outrageous.
