Your problem is you think eBay is the only server that’s pveeing. Lol even jq at their stacked and strongest used that excuse and its really lame. Own up to your losses and your wins, it’s the only way you will improve.
Also if eBay ever want to climb higher than tier 4 you will need to stop complaining about nightcapping/pvdoor it’s terminology that differentiates a strong server that understands the system to a weak one that makes excuses. It’s a coverage game. Learn it, remember it, accept it, move on from it.

Blurred Frenzy: This is now evasion instead of immunity. This means it will be affected by retaliation. Increased the cooldown to 12 seconds.
Now this is a good change, being immune to retal with any attack shouldnt be happening, and lets face it, the cooldown was a little short given how good the attack is.

Lmao “OP”, it roots down a cloth class. Regardless, sword is now a death trap vs these professions. In fact, lets assume a guardian’s retal ticks for 300, blurred frenzy hits 8×. That is 2,400 damage. Now lets assume you attack a party that has a guardian and they all have retal from the guard, assuming 300 ticks as well, that is 12,000 damage. This is just assuming blurred frenzy, the most common combo is to go ileap-frenzy-shatter, in which case u’ll be taking another 1,200 damage from 4 shatters. You will instagib yourself on a group of 5 people that have retal. So it goes from “OP” to death trap, yeah great fix.
Oh and btw, most retal ticks are above 350.
Ok, first of all, I agree that the nerf to Blurred Frenzy was a bit unneeded. However, it’s not nearly as bad as you make it out to be. Yes, Blurred Frenzy hitting eight times will generate 2400 damage for the mesmer in your scenario. At most it will generate 7200 damage because it can only hit up to three targets.
Really though, other than in large ZergVsZerg combat, where are you going to have the opportunity to have 24 unblocked, undodged hits against people who have retaliation up? Most decent players will do SOMETHING to mitigate damage because they know that a shatter is on the way, so in actuality a large chunk of of the hits won’t even make contact in most situations.
Also, there’s no real excuse for “instagibbing” oneself on retaliation. The mesmer has plenty of boon stripping abilities, FOUR of which are either common utilities or on common weapons. God forbid we actually look at our opponents’ boons before we rapidly unload every single one of our attacks. I run sword and played WvW for several hours today and, because I pay attention, not once did I find that Blurred Frenzy was causing me to take excess amounts of damage. I certainly didn’t take anything in the 3-7k range that you are advocating as common.
Like I said, nobody likes nerfs, but at least this will encourage players to think a little bit more.
Ok I’ll make this brief. It isn’t instagib, but it certainly does a lot. Blurred frenzy was a means to get into that zergvzerg, and now it is completely useless in that regard. While the scenario of retal being up isn’t going to happen every time, any decent group runs at least 1 guardian. Boon stripping? Arcane thievery is hit and miss and is no way a guarantee that you’ll even get retal, null field is based on whether they stand in the field which is also hit and miss, sword auto isn’t even going to be considered because you would be taking way too much damage for an attempt to rip the boon, Phantasm dis enchanter isn’t going to be up long enough to work considering 90% of mesmers will now be shatter. In conclusion, there is a lot more pressure on a cloth class being in meele range to the point where sword is not a viable option anymore. I took a solid 2.6k retal damage to myself today using blurred frenzy once vs a guard.

Considering it was around 15-20 DB vs 4 GF (you forgot that). rB should learn to be more disciplined instead of leaving tails behind that get gobbled up.
The most striking thing about EBay that I have noticed is a much higher percentage of rangers(all using the aoe root elite). I have never seen any server run so heavy on one class, except maybe FA with elementalists(which has faded in recent days).
Why do so many players on EBay love rangers? Is there some sort of meta-strategy involved, some sort of server decision to play more rangers? Or is it just random chance?

IMHO, every match thread regardless of servers involved pretty much has someone say this about the other two servers.
Some good fights this weekend, had some great 1 v 1 s, some great small group fights and some excellent large group pushes, keep at it all!

I find it very funny everyone uses the air/centaur rune argument. Those runes are worthless in combat (no that magical 4k air strike isn’t going to happen unless your glass to ass), and they aren’t going to help you catch a good player, simple as that. In addition, why should we be forced to use specific runes because Anet fails to address a much needed mechanic that should be added to the mesmer profession?
Blink/Staff are not direct movement speed, and what if blink is on cool down? You will not be able to get in front of the enemy for the staff to even work.
Change Signet of Midnight to 25% passive movement speed/33% swiftness for 10 seconds on active, stackable with temporal curtin.

I’ve dueled Cookies plus many other GFs. But she isn’t immortal. She started a brawl because our ranger beat her 6 times in a row at fight club.
Sorry to disappoint but I was running a team spec, then I switched to my “roamer” and destroyed everyone there. Only person worthy of dueling on maguuma is tzasari, he’s really good.

Mesmer was my first profession but I switched because it was too easy. Sword 2, mirror, shatter+ sword 3, dodge, decoy, staff 2, shatter, collect bag. Yawn.
Easily countered with a engi or necro.
Because engie takes skill? spam pistol and prybar with hgh, kitten durp, condi necro? spam corrupt boon + epidmeic/plague form. But you are right, they are good counters to mesmer, however it won’t be the first time I’ve played against these classes, and I have no quarrels against fighting them.

That’s a good way to make excuses for your server, call them a karma train when they uberfail. Outside of tzsari d[e]rp isn’t worth fighting anyways.
Sure, think whatever you want We offered to GvG anyone on your server and they all made the excuse that we weren’t worth fighting. Then someone said they would post video of us getting owned saying it was rendering and well, I still haven’t seen it. Curious. Our raid group never had any problems fighting GF because we outnumbered you, but I guess you were too scared to see the result on even ground.
I am not making excuses for anyone, nor do I need to, because I know I wasn’t there for that attack. But I’m pretty sure that amount of tags implies it’s the karma train. It’s a good achievement no matter what, and the feeling of wiping groups while heavily outnumbered is quite nice. We wiped several YB groups about 3:1 as a guild group too back when we ran closer to 15 man.
Good fights to everyone except Good Fights apparently, lol. It’s both funny and sad how much anger Ehmry Bay has towards all of their opponents.

They have been playing in a Mumble channel that literally had the words “karma train” in it until this week. If they had a problem with it then they shouldn’t have entered the channel. tl;dr GF isn’t worth fighting outside of Tzenjin who was a good guardian and he doesn’t play anymore so GF isn’t worth fighting.

That’s a good way to make excuses for your server, call them a karma train when they uberfail. Outside of tzsari d[e]rp isn’t worth fighting anyways.
Sure, think whatever you want We offered to GvG anyone on your server and they all made the excuse that we weren’t worth fighting. Then someone said they would post video of us getting owned saying it was rendering and well, I still haven’t seen it. Curious. Our raid group never had any problems fighting GF because we outnumbered you, but I guess you were too scared to see the result on even ground.
I am not making excuses for anyone, nor do I need to, because I know I wasn’t there for that attack. But I’m pretty sure that amount of tags implies it’s the karma train. It’s a good achievement no matter what, and the feeling of wiping groups while heavily outnumbered is quite nice. We wiped several YB groups about 3:1 as a guild group too back when we ran closer to 15 man.
Good fights to everyone except Good Fights apparently, lol. It’s both funny and sad how much anger Ehmry Bay has towards all of their opponents.
tl;dr →D[E]RP isn’t worth fighting outside of tzsari, apparently everyone on ebay thinks so as well, hence why you are mad, and wrote an essay. Strong supporting of your server btw, I’m sure all those guilds love being called karma trains.
