Vee Wee has a few theories! In terms of esportz, nobody wants to play conquest! Conquest is not esportz! Arenas are esportz! It’s a shame Anet spent 2 years balancing the game for conquest! Guaranteed the next game mode that comes out will not be so great because of balance! We’ll have to wait a long time before it will be playable! Mark Vee Wee’s words!

Anet is too slow to balance! 1 patch every half year! That’s just thuper insane in the membrane! Anet wants to make everything perfect! Well newflash frands! You can’t balance perfectly! It can only be good! And everything good can then be made better! And then you keep making it better! Biweekly! Even monthly! Hell at this point Vee Wee will even take a patch every 2 months! But twice per year! Bad! So bad! So very bad! Warriors have been op now for over a year! Why do we have to wait over a year for things to change!

No pause feature! A few weeks ago Vee Wee was watching a tournament on Blu’s stream! Someone on the blue team disconnected! The casters told someone on the red team to afk in spawn! That was the saddest most ghettoest thing Vee Wee has ever seen in a video game! Especially one that tries so hard to be esportz!

Camera angles! I have no idea what’s going on when watching a stream! In game camera angles are just as bad! Why isn’t there any 1st person camera like there is in Guild Warts 1!

That’s just for esportz! There are other problems plaguing general PvP! Skyhammer, lack of team communication, etcetcetc. Vee Wee made a thread about it already and does not want to type everything out again!

As for what to dodge, that depends on who you are facing! You must learn all the classes to know how to beat them! Knowledge is power my frand! But generally you’ll want to dodge the really hard hitting attacks like Eviscerate! You’ll also want to dodge attacks that stun you or immoblize you like Earthshaker or Pin Down! Make sure you learn these animations of these attacks so you know what you’re dodging! As you get better, you’ll be able to somewhat predict when other people will try to use these attacks!

There are a lot of tanky sustain builds in PvP with loads of CC! This is the meta right now and has been for the last year or so! And there is no change in sight so you should really jump on that train! First you need Backpack Regenerator! This is the Engineer sustain trait and all Engineers who enjoy surviving for a long time should take this trait! Yes it’s better than Protection Injection!

You also need to counter the enemy sustain! Sustain is why you think the enemy’s health isn’t moving! Poison reduces healing by 1/3! If you see a Staff Ele or D/D Ele or Warrior or Guardian or Engineer or anyone who has high passive regen, poison them! If you are not running both Grenade Kit and Pistol, take Sigil of Doom! Poison also works on downed people! Anyone who is reviving them will have their revive speed reduced by 1/3! Cleaving downed people is very important in PvP!

You also need to dodge! You say when they hit you, large chunks of your health drops! You need to dodge the really powerful attacks! This just takes practice! Take Invigorating Speed in the alchemy line for more dodges! Or take Energy Sigil! Or use both! There isn’t a single viable PvP build out there for any class that doesn’t trait for Vigor and/or use an Energy Sigil!

There is nothing challenging about PvEsports! That’s why there won’t be thuper amaze PvE armor! Anyone can do it! Vee Wee does fractals 50 on a regular basis! Vee Wee has 2 rotations! The first uses whatever powerful ability is off cooldown! If everything is on cooldown, use grenade autos!

The second is when Vee Wee is eating or watching a show or playing piano or guitar! Vee Wee uses rifle, puts 1 on auto attack, and alt tabs! Because only in PvEsports can you turn on auto attack, alt tab, and still win!

Then they ban Vee Wee and say Vee Wee “vandalized!” It says right on the disclaimer that builds may be removed! The owners of this website are just the worst!

EDIT: Golly gee willikers they edited it so poorly! Look it says “Use Regenerating Mist often for more passive regen. The Regeneration boon combined with the Backpack Regenerator trait adds up to a lot of sustained healing, or you can keep it for a brief duration water field and use it with the second chain skill of Shield #4 Magnetic Inversion Magnetic Inversion for a ~2k AoE heal.” The build doesn’t even use shield! How are you going to blast Regenerating Mist with shield without shield!

Good questions my frand! I will try to explain it in more detail! My suggestion is basically the Dota 2 leaver system but on a smaller scale because Dota 2 games can last more than an hour and Guild Warts 2 matches last for a maximum of 15 minutes!

First a leaver is defined like this: If he gets booted out of the game for afk! If he gets unanimously reported as an autorun afk or repeated suicide whatever! If he disconnects from the game and doesn’t return in 3 minutes! As soon as someone is branded a leaver, they get the dishonored debuff and the match turns into either an early or late leaver match! If they want to try the 5v4 for stats they are free to do so! If they don’t want to play a 5v4, they can leave and immediately queue again!

This highly depends on the addition of a pause system! Maybe the “leaver” had automatic updates and takes longer than 3 minutes to reconnect! The leave time doesn’t go when the game is paused! I hope I answered your questions!

This could also lessen the toxicity that is all too common in PvP! Rude dude doodooheads may be afraid to be so unfrandly to other people for fear that they may get reported for leaving and get dishonored! A positive side effect of this system!

First, transmute does not work on CC! Not like Shared Anguish that Rangers have! Do you know how many immunes I’ve gotten when I try to Magnet them! Rangers truly are the worst class in the game! Mash 1 all day while sitting in a perpetual state of evasion and protection! Truly the worst!

Second, transmute does not work on CC! Learn the class before you start making thilly accusations!

Third, like I’ve mentioned in previous posts there needs to be a visual indicator of these passive skills! Shared Anguish, Transmute, Reaper’s Protection! A boon icon! An aura surrounding them! Anything Anet come on!

This site needs a lot of work! On the builds themselves and the owners’ attitudes! Vee Wee submitted a build called Vee Wee’s P/P Condi, it gets deleted the next day because “you can’t claim ownership of a build!” Meanwhile there is a build called Koroshi’s WvW Build and it’s been up for over a week with like 10 different votes and like 2000+ views! Obvious bias towards Vee Wee, #1 Engi NA and world first rank 80!

Furthermore the Engi “meta build” is so awful! 4 points in Tools! Sigil of Earth! Not taking Backpack Regenerator! And it wasn’t even created by an Engi player! Laughable! If you are looking for builds, I suggest you check out the PvP twitch streams thread! Link to that thread will be at the bottom! Many professional Guild Warts 2 players’ streams are listed there and they usually have their builds in the description!.

The nerfs are not enough! Vee Wee thinks Combustive Shot should be nerfed! It should be a targeted projectile attack that can be blocked, evaded, dodged, etc. If it successfully connects, it deals damage and places the fire field down with the target at the center! The field no longer burns but rather the projectile burns the target on impact!

Vee Wee does not care about the lore, the dialogue, the characters, and Living Story content usually boil down to gathering in a zerg, mashing your auto attack key, and picking up loot bags! Earth fields could do area bleeds when blasted! 2 bleeds per target per blast! 5 targets max! Bleed damage would be based on the person who blasted!

Celestial is fine! It’s the classes that need to be worked on! Basically every class that runs Celestial Amulet also has insane amount of sustain, damage, and conditions all in one! A popular build that runs Celestial is the Eviscerate Warrior! They stack a 327532978 radius fire field that you can’t escape out of, blast it 20 times for permanent max stacks of might, put permanent burning on you (which is like one of the strongest conditions), place a debuff that gives you 5 freakin torment stacks that you can’t remove, and then capable of a huge burst attack! It’s just inthane in the membrane all of the power and condi damage that it has! Not only that but Celestial works best with might stacking and the classes that use Celestial the most are amazing might stackers! Nerf the might stacks and everything will be fine!

There’s not much Arenanet can do for the 4v5 issue! They can’t reach through their monitors and force leavers to stay! Sometimes they can’t stay! Whether it’s parents kicking their kids off the computer, a power outage, an earthquake, a volcanic eruption, dog chewing on the internet cables, raging nerds, lupus, etc.! What they should do is just implement a timer! If that person doesn’t come back within a set amount of time, everyone is just free to leave and play a new game!

With that said, Vee Wee, #1 Engi NA and world first rank 80, only gets a 4v5 maybe once every hundred games! It’s fairly rare!
