DH would not support FC’s victory over kng. we are adamant about showing FC that the prior victories over us pre-season were meaningless. i have high regard fo kng, i even visited your server for a week to see what made you guys so amazing in wvw (a good 8+ months ago..actually i was primarily there to complete my 100% map completion, and stayed for a while longer to observe your tactics).

kng is still a very challenging adversary, dont take yourselves too lightly.

good thing you read other posts prior to this one, if you did you would know that i was responding via cell phone (which is hard to scroll back through). regardless of that, it does not change the content of what i wrote.

We didn’t say we were going. I’ve said this at least 3 times on this thread. We have made it clear that we will only leave if problems persist.

I never left the server. I quit for 3 months, came back and decided to bring Fun back to its former glory. Other members have Fun had said we recruit from other guilds, but we don’t ACTIVELY recruit from them- if a member comes to us, we take them. It has nothing to do with where they were from or how they got here, only how they are as a person and how active they are in WvW.

Quit or left the server. It doesnt make a difference. your presence on Darkhaven was ZERO. Darkhaven was getting back up on its feet after the abyss/SE event. Darkhaven was actually thriving. then you came back. and look at what has happened to the server? there has not been this much in guild fighting that i can even recall. short of the rivalry tension between SE and Abyss. and that wasnt even real drama.

Likewise, the majority of DH does not have ill will towards us. You do, your guild does, and they tend to spam map chat/the forums with hate messages. That is one of the MAIN reasons we have even considered leaving.

more delusions of grandeur? its like you are not even reading posts other dh are making. i have no problem with your other guild memebrs aside from the lack of tact they showed on the battlefield with the emote spamming (which caused the drama in this thread) but when you harass members of my guild in pm’s and they tell the leader about it, it is upsetting to him (i am not the leader of [ANBU], merely a commander) it tends to not show you in the greatest of light.

The fact that you failed at creating the next Abys/SE doesn’t mean we will. Of course we’re going for the same effect, because we want to be equally prominent and have as big an effect on Darkhaven as they did. What I’ve been trying to stress however, is that (for me), it’s more about my guild than it is about the server. I’m willing to admit that. So, if the server turns against me/my guild, then that is an issue that needs to be resolved.

And no, we didn’t recruit the best commanders from other guilds. I have friends in JQ who transfered back to Darkhaven to join us. All our commanders are either JQ taught or from JQ themselves.

I run 30/0/25/0/15 and in WvW I’ve hit the tower champ for 34k on finally 100 blades with knights gear and crit food. I believe I had probably 20 stacks of might from all the stacking.

I quite like The Fiend (one of [Fun]‘s commanders), but if [Fun] think they’re carrying DH then they are deluding themselves.

Might have been an exaggeration on my part but we do a lot in the BL without people noticing. Fiend is one of our only EB commanders, which is why you notice him. He’s great, and we’ve been training him, but Fun as a whole helps a lot more than people tend to realize.

Yes and what guild did you steal the feindd from. He wasn’t fun before he started commanding a lot.

And like I said, trying to make fun out to be the savior of dh and actually thinging that you are doing more than SOTD and SOT do for the oceanic crew is laughable. delutios and kadmess both command in the off-times.

Some commanders can be abrasive though, and I think that is where a lot of the issues come from. They can give good advice, but it can come with a tinge of insult. I feel that a lot of our commanders are not necessarily open to constructive criticism, regardless of delivery though.. so I think people being abrasive is only a part of a bigger issue.

DH, like so many other servers, has gone through the rough rides of large guilds assimilating a bunch of players and then leaving. This has happened several times on DH, and I am sure several times on many other servers. So, when the hint of this comes up, well.. the results are as expected.

The drama between [ANBU] and [FUN] is destructive to DH, as such infighting would be to any server. Its not new, many of us have seen such a thing happen before and know exactly what the results from that have been. Its made me want to steer clear of both until they get their kitten straightened out for the greater good of the server.

Once we learn that the team is [insert server name here], not some individual guilds, then we can make some progress. That doesnt mean that loyalty to a guild cant surpass that of loyalty to a server, but as long as we are all on the same server, we are all on the same team.

Some of our new commanders have really been stepping up though, and even asking for constructive criticism. Eventually, I hope to see a zerg portal kiting with elevation changes. Then I will know we are actually making progress as a server!

[Fun] has no issues with [Anbu]. We do our own thing to help the server; all we ask for is support from the other guilds.

If Assassin X or some other member from Anbu wants to attack us, they can go for it. We do more for the server anyways. But if the majority of Darkhaven wants to attack us, you can understand why we wouldn’t want to fight for you guys anymore.

This is the problem. When abyss left they left not because thy were chased out. Most people begged the. To stay, but I’m the end they left go have better WVW experience on SBI and not have to worry about carrying DH in WVW. SE left for similar reasons.

What I’m going to say now is the true heart of the problem that people have with you CallinQQ: you left. And when you come back you attempt to make [Fun] out to be the end all savior to DH. while the rest of us who stayed on after SE/Abyss left, continued to fight and rebuild the WvW population.

You are “recruiting” (poaching) other guilds members and we have told you yo stop countless times.

I attempted to make [DARK] into the next abyss/SE and got terrible feedback from the server. Where I failed at that, somehow [BANE] succeeded, but even that did not last long.

So as you have said you are recruiting the best commanders across other guilds. And then you are going to leave? That makes you look like a total tool. Not only does that greatly weaken us as a server if you do leave. It also sets a standard that your guild can never come close to achieving due to your bad PR.

This is why the majority of DH has I’ll will towards you and your guild.

If we see something that we might be able to use for Darkhaven we are going to try to grab them and teach them all we know, because so far it seems like everyone else just mindlessly zergs and that’s it. It doesn’t matter if they are from [Burn], [DHE], or [OGT], if they are in WvW and following us around while we are untagged doing Guild Ops, we’ll whisper them the Team Speak information. I mean, who are we suppose to recruit, the guildless players? Almost every single person in this game belongs to a guild, and if they don’t, they almost every time aren’t level 80 and we aren’t interested in them.

yes the tagless people are the ones you should be recruiting. they are the ones you want to cultivate. if you are doing exactly what abyss and se were doing. stealing people from other guilds. regardless of the way you do it, under the guise of “for darkhaven” it amounts to the same thing. powers of persuasion are very misunderstood to you apparently. however callinqq has got it down and has been doing this from the beginning of the season.

This hostility and immaturity is why a small fraction of us have talked about leaving DH. Our guild is not crusading across the server absorbing smaller guilds, we recruit people one at a time on a per case basis. If this means that eventually entire guilds join us, so what? Get over it, this was their choice. We kick most of the recruits anyways for small things like refusing to communicate, because we are seeking to form a guild that actually matters to this server rather than just another [Burn] with only numbers to compensate for poor builds and lack of experience.

So yes, we are trying to form an elite guild of WvW players that know what they are doing and are willing to communicate and cooperate with each other. If we succeed in this, but continue to get hostility from Darkhaven, the core of our group may move. This is not a threat, this is simple cause and effect. You do not own us, Darkhaven. We did not buy this game to be your mini-poodle on a short leash.

That said, some of our members can be rude and immature. We are not happy with this, and if it continues these people will be held accountable regardless of rank. However, responding to immaturity with more immaturity is by far the most idiotic thing you can do. It doesn’t make you right. It just spams map chat with needless crap.

Either you were not on or did not hear about it, but saturday i logged in and no commander in EB. as soon as i tagged up the map chat filled with the most ridiculous spam from ALL and ONLY [Fun] members with trash talking towards myself and [ANBU] so dont give me this bs. Those non [Fun] and mainly non[ ANBU] who responded mostly defended all accusations against me.

We played DH 3 weeks in a row right before season 1. We beat them all 3 times.

Yet they managed to squeak a win out in week 2. So even though they’d lost to us 3x in a row they still pulled out a win. So clearly when DH and FC are involved, who won the previous meeting doesn’t mean squat.

Make yourself look weak. And when the enemy comes in the the kill, show your true strength and fight with the ferocity of a thousand tigers.

Those three weeks were just our way of letting you think you had the advantage. While we rested for the true battle.

Change vengeance to seppuku with a twist. Kill yourself but down target under 25%hp. Since that is basically what vengeance does in its current state.

Adren is fine the way it is. Other than having to trait for getting adorn when hit.

F burst skills: if its extended to just off hands, where is shield, axe and sword off hands? Why don’t GS/lb/ham/rifle get extra F burst skills?

This is going to be a fun match up. Constant 3 way fight for sm for at least the 2 Hrs i was conscious and able to command.

interesting idea. but it would have to be objective based. it could not be placed at say a sentry Point or randomly along a wall.

You are not Kerrigan you cannot control the zerg.

This being said. Outnumbered means nothing if you have quality players.

I commanded since moth 3 in WvW. I stopped about 3 months before leagues with 50/50 between arguing with those 1%s and other half wanting to let other comms get xp leading while I did more work behind the scenes with guild groups of 5-15.

Coming back with leagues to command. I have found that ignoring the bs and chatter to be the best thing you can do. Try to communicate clearly and give people time to actually follow and you will see a change in how this happen.

Whaaaaaat? You must have no idea how many ANBU and BRL cheese hammer warriors I had to chase around this morning all by my lonesome on my thief… finally had to enlist another thief to help track them down and kill them one by one. I’ll admit, I died a few times, but when paired off on my non-perma invis thief against a no skill perma stun hammer warrior, I am actually happy that I won more than I lost.

It gave me hope too… I hadn’t played my thief in wvw for at least two months. If you die to a rusty p/d thief, you’re doing something wrong

I was on in hod BL south for about an hr at a time. I run GS/x usually hammer or longbow, I don’t run the perma hammer stun lock build either.

I do remember some annoying thieves out and about. ANBU only has two wars that run hammers, myself and another, and neither is us run the actual stunlock build. You may have mistaken our guardians for other wars in the heat of battle.

I assume you’re referring to the Bay fights in DH BL earlier? We take it as a compliment that you guys sent a total of 8 omegas to try oust the 9 of us.

And we only gave up eventually because it was 4am for the most of us .

I don’t think the points accurately display of the rank or skill of the server. I know this week HoD has put the hurt on ET and as a result DR has more points overall and yet ET is a stronger server than DR.

We put the hurt on ET in week 1 because DH had no resistence to offer, ET at least gave us fights, loot bags. DH is a total joke since they ran their good guilds off the server. They still have the night cappers though.

What kittening match up were you laying? And as far as dh running good guilds off the server, you are severely uninformed. They jumped ship for other servers well before leagues and only to provide themselves with better WVW experience. No one ran them out. They left of their own accord.

DH isn’t down and out yet. ANBU continues to paper your fully fortified towers in your BL. I got 3/4 of them earlier today before having to go to work.

Sometimes the radius is huge, other times its tiny. Anyone else notice or know why this is happening? Bug or working as intended? I am not specced into any longbow traits.

I approve of this. Its a another show of Anet past ability to balance like they did in gw1 without completely breaking a class. Hopefully they will be able to balance the rest of the classes in a similar fashion.

Like I said before, ANBU has been hitting FC nightly with ninja attempts on fully fortified towers and keeps. We manage to get thru the outer walls, but either the few pugs we happen to find following us don’t listen or some of our straggling operatives get picked off or DC at inopportune and we don’t finish the cap or don’t make it to the inner wall.

So not sure how much we have to repeat this, but: DH has been attacking both GoM and FC equally. FC just happens to respond quicker. That is all.

It has been a really fun match and I’m thankful for all the great gameplay both servers have put forth to DH. its been a blast. I hope you bring the same ferocity to your next opponents!

Back in the day, duels in japan between generals sometimes consisted of only one pass. If one would turn around after the initial pass and stab the other in the back, capitalizing on an attack of opportunity and successfully kill the other general, he would be considered a military genius. If he failed to kill his opponent with the sneak attack from behind, then he would be considered a coward.

(Not trying to sound like I’m raging, but I haven’t seen much action between FC and DH all night, and it’s lookin really suspicious.)

I’ve taken anbu to FC BL pretty much all this week. Fc has stopped us from making it to inner walls/gates, but they can attest to us breaking down many many many fortified walls and papering their north keeps.

[Yarr] is a guild that I both love and hate to see. Interesting fight in the one BL last night between Yarr and anbu. For every Yarr we killed, three Yarr thieves appeared.

An overpowered profession in the hands of a competent player is a game breaking thing.

Short answer: Yes. 2 skilled ele players and a skilled ranger can do exactly the same thing as these three.
