I LOVE WvW. That being said, does anyone else feel like, “is this season over yet? No… there are still THREE MORE FULL WEEKS left… /wrists”

Apart from working 4 split shifts a week and an 8hr shift once a week, add in other real life events, i’m finding it harder and harder to want to log in and wvw.

Bring back dhuum for public executions of hackers like they did in GW1. Freeze them somehow port them to the most populated pve map and have dhuum sever their life and drag them into the underworld. Problem solved. It worked in gw1 it will work again in gw2.

Get to rank 1315 and you wont have a problem deciding where to put your points

In all reality,
1 it is not hard nor does it take long to obtain these buffs. 2 it is available to everyone so it is not exclusive.
3 if you do not enjoy the game play because you do not have/want to take the time to get the buffs, then find another game play style that conforms to your type of game play enjoyment.

Havent watched the video. I will tag this for later. But personally, i have noticed The changes but they are not deal breaking. ppl still dont dodge pindown anf still stand in combu field and arcing. However, i have noticed that sometimes aa and cs will sometimes not fire and still go on cooldown. or the animations will go off but the skills do no dmg the fire field on cs doesnt go off either and it doesnt say miss or obstructed either.

Taking 10k from something i can see and possibly react to is fine. If i actually get hit by it thats my fault. If i cant see a 10k backstab coming (because good thieves wont be seen at all before the attack) thats not ok.

Yes. I thought it was just my isp. But i switched to my phone tether isp which is better than my regular wifi. And i still got a lot of lag spikes during wvw combat. So has to be server lag.

Just to reiterate: this is a request to unlock the current ui. This is not a request to allow us to load custom modifications. I do not want to add custom ui mods like dmg meters etc. I want to be able to turn off event windows, resize or remove current windows.

Warbannering this thread! Bloodlust in the borderlands and fail/success defense/capture sidebars also still prrveny me from targetting things on the right side of my screen, brcause it either closes the notification or minimizes the “event” status.

Id rather have dual wielding shields!

abbadon is not dead, even though in gw1 the player defeats abbadon and kormir gains his power, it is never stated that he ceases to exist.

Human Male arms of koda and Heritage shoulders (heavy) skins have been crazy enlarged! which is totally ruining my look. instead of looking high and tight, it looks loose and saggy. they are now also clipping into the chest piece. This is a game of aesthetics, and you have now ruined what looked aesthetically pleasing to me.

Exactly, you are better off pming warriors in game or on the boards.

In GW 1 any loot you forgot to pick up, over a certain time limit threshold, and j think just in dungeons, but maybe also during vanquishing, you would receive a pop up if you switched zones that would give you everything that you were unable to loot. Its not like Anet couldn’t mail you your stuff that you died next to. Maybe they are working on that.

Yes. Don’t stand still for the 2 seconds it takes to animate the shot. Its not like you could have dodged, hid, blocked, reflected, etc. or even moved out of range in that time….

Yeh I usually get that stuck state when I use flash while I’m stunned and immobilize, it’s like it perm keeps the immobilize, and I almost did a clean get away there too >:

I’ve been getting this a LOT since the immobilize stacking “fix” with any one of the 3 million mesmer blinks. I suspect it has something to do with the max stacking cap on immobilize duration.

There’s nothing more terrifying than trying to type out /dance in the middle of a zerg fight while running a glass mesmer build to get un-stuck.

sometimes happens to me when i switch from num lock auto running to mouse movement or if i switch weapons while building

usually other movement skills will break the weird immobilization.

the bug reminds of the perma spinny weapon swapping we used to be able to do

They should nerf warrior more. Just chased a warrior for like 10 minutes around with 5 people and he stayed alive, outran us only by using his skills, its kitteng ridiculous

sure the war is doing no dmg but he is also keeping 5 ppl who obviously dont know how to do other beneficial things in wvw from doing them…

if 1 war can pre-occupy a group or 2 that can make the difference in a objective battle.

as for the OP. if you like melee combat and using all kinds of different weapons, even some ranged ones like rifle and longbow, then sure maybe you will like warrior. what other class archetypes in other games have you played and enjoyed and like to play? or are you trying to do something completely out of your normal wheelhouse? ( i played sneaky stealth classes in every game prior to gw2 and went for a switch to in your face war)

just have to look at what the skills do and use them correctly

Second of all you keep saying “Oh that Ranger ran..blah..blah…blah tower…blah blah” obviously you must of missed the entire part where both (the warrior and the pug) went down and i tried to res them just to be loaded with condis (necros obviously) so i took shelter in to tower. BUT let me say this… you were defending your thief b4 saying thats how thiefs are supposed to play or what not. Maybe you should teach me to play ranger, cuz i was not aware i was supposed to stand there and not use any my evades and let my self be killed in a 3 v1… SO PLZ enlighten us with your wisdom OH MIGHTY FORUM GUARDIAN… ROFL
Edit: Now im confused might of been a warrior and not a guard but whatever.
PS: btw had fun watching half ur guys do nothing but watch in OS and the other half get MERKED by my guildies.

There is a huge difference amongst dodges for evasion, s/d skills that contain the benefit of an evade inside the skill itself , and just strait up running halfway across the BL to finally die by my underwater kill shot near dh garrison.

I like how you left out the part where there were 5+ of you chasing me, BUT since i’m a ranger i must make it easy for u guys and stand w/o moving so you guys can kill me right?

There a total of me+2pugs chasing you. It is different if you were kiting to group members but you were just running to run. If I had your build I would have killed the lowest ranked player and kited a bit more if necessary and then taken out the next lowest, leaving a1v1 between you and I. However you just ran and that is all it comes down to.

I do want to give props to [BS] asuran warrior. We had nice fight the other night under the bridge near dh sw tower. Even though I was at ~15% HP and you started at 100%hp, I still had a fun fight for the 2 mins it took for you to kill me. You are pretty awesome with bolas and its impressive to see someone take advantage of the exact range of 100b.
