HoD? Hey, how’s it’s going? Good, that’s nice. Listen can we talk? Could you do something about oh I don’t know the glitchers your server seems to have a number of?
Because right now you guys have one guy running an Engineer, in our borderlands pulling people from walls, with a rifle. So if you could do something about punks like this, that’d be great. ET has it bad enough without people having to glitch. We get beat through normal play so, stop it.
Are you seriously whining and calling hacks because you rather blame others instead of your own ignorance?
Engi’s have a 1200 range pull with the toolkit.

Hour long queues? We’re not in 2012 anymore. If you have a problem with queues, then you have the option of transferring to any server that isn’t ranked #1. If you want to remain a band wagoner and consider yourself elite due to the mass amounts of players on your server, then you deserve getting queues.
“I smell like pomegranate.”
We still have one yet to transfer, I met KoM tonight … good first impression!
I just saw your username. You wouldn’t happened to have been a defiler, eh?
“I smell like pomegranate.”
I will start: PAXA and KoM on HoD are not recruiting.
Eh? What? We’re not recruiting? I did not know this. We would actually prefer to be able to run two 5-mans at once which can roam and come together to fight zergs if need be.
Also, I’d love to have a 5-man with 4 cute females in it. nomnomnom
“I smell like pomegranate.”
No. Some TTA who were kitten about my guild reported me for no reason. I already made a ticket and over night they told me that they won’t revert it.
God that kitten es me off. I need to rename 6 of my 8 characters.
I shall corpse-jump those honourless dogs the next time I see them.

Anyone putting value to the score would be a fool.
All 3 of our servers are in tier 8, the lowest tier. We are here because we have the least amount of people and the least amount of coverage. We will not win the score game. Tier 1 servers have more people online during their down-times than any of our servers have during reset night.
Competing for score in this tier is similar to competing in a “light-weight, strength competition” One of us may lift a 6 pound weight while the other may only be able to live a 5 pound weight. It really isn’t something one should try and brag about.
Instead, put value in what happens on the battlefield. Win a tough 1v1? Well done. Win a good group v group fight? Keep at it. Defeat and enemy zerg with your zerg? Good stuff. Take a well defended keep from the enemy or defend one from an overwhelming amount of attackers? Good job.
Put value in those challenges that you have overcome, instead of looking at the scoreline, as it is a better measure of success.

You guys should come to t7. Between DR and NS there’s already 7-8 roaming guilds.
NSP only has 1 small-man guild, spca. All the other self-proclaimed ones only small-man until they lose at which point they keep coming back with more until they can win.
Xoxo and splat run groups, too.
We usually just run the five of us or less. Unless the action is way too zergy.
Yeah they used to do that at first until they died a few times, at which point they decided to roll with zergs or go “cannon spec.”
Perhaps if you guys lose to them a bunch of times with even numbers they wont run with zergs or bring zergs to kill you because they couldn’t stand the idea of trying harder.

The regen from 2 healing turrets do not stack which is a bit silly. Additionally, where throwing in other sources of regen it only seemed to stack some of the time.

Maybe we can do some 5v5 or less with PAXA. I know KoM is
good (could be argued just because they run 2 OP
HGH engis) but I’d like to see how good PAXA is too.If could be argued that you make a lot of ignorant assumptions. We don’t run HGH builds. I’m too lazy to use elixers n stuff. Rather just spam nades into the zerg and get clumps of dead peoples.
okok I was mistaken sorry. I was kinda kitten off at how you guys got like 5% damage after we stacked 15s worth of retal accross all 5 of us and you both still spammed nades. Wtf is going on here??? lol
Regen + Regen when using kits (20 alchemy) makes for good passive healing.
“I smell like pomegranate.”
Just because they used that many to kill your thief, does not mean that they were all needed. :p
“I smell like pomegranate.”
Also an influx of players last night due to being in a new tier I think.
“I smell like pomegranate.”
We had a blast tonight. All types of fights all over the map. ET and FC players also seem to be a bit more gutsy, willing to break off from the zerg for smaller fights. Good stuff.

1- Gank on guys sitting around gone wrong – run away! (3 kom tried to gank 4 of us while we were sitting around just after watching a long kitten duel with obsession and SF mesmer, 2 got blown up in seconds – 1 runs for his life)
2- SF you seem mad that our roaming group kept wiping your zergs. Those ballistas ouchie
You successfully 6v3’d and then successfully managed to kill me 5v1 in a quick time-span of 5 minutes. You are a true elite player.
It was 4v3, and you initiated it by spamming your whole load on nades on us from up top the ruins before we had even stood up. That charrsonist guy was a lvl 6 who ran away as soon as he seen you guys.
Your other 2 guys got blown up by us FOUR within 30 seconds. Then we chased you around for awhile and lolhealz happened by and tried to cut you off.. In the end THREE of us managed to snag you.
It’s not hard to run around and survive for awhile on an Engi with caltrops/invulns/stealths(my bad for immobilizing you! hate that trait).
My post wasn’t about being a good player though.. It was just to laugh at your failed gank attempt and at how fast you guys tried to run away from said fail.
I do love how you embellish stories though to look better, please tell me more.
-edits wow I wrote you’re instead of your 3 times.. fail
The splt guy is actually the one we chased that lead us into you, and you just admitted to a 6th, therefore it remains a 6v3 and not a 4v3. We actually pushed onto you as you were trying to run away on the bridge. At least your guild-mates decided to fight at which point you became brave as well.
It is not that hard to kill my engineer actually as I am not running a full tank. I don’t know, maybe after the first stealth after immobilize some people would have smartened up and not used it 8-10 times again. Or at least make sure to burst them down where they stealthed. Took you guys about 2 entire minutes to figure that one out and even then, it took a while longer to kill me.
Now obviously I have affected you in some way in the past as you felt the need to post killing someone in WvW. Unfortunately, 6v3’ing is not the best way to exemplify that.
Don’t worry, you’re still a super elite player.
Yes a lvl 6 guy who instantly ran away counts as a 6v3 hehe… I never tried to run away I had to run around the side since you guys were up on top of ruins and we were down below by the water. I’m not an elite player, but it was still funny. I had to immobile you since nobody could keep up with your perm swift(and slick shoes or w/e its called) :S and I wasn’t running my mobility weapons.
And yes I’m so raging mad I’m going to post a pic everytime I see a KOM corpse.
You were trying to get up to the ruins where we were eh? Did you know that running halfway across the bridge is the wrong way?

Ah, so another guild that decided to mess with the ratings system quite badly. Then once it faced an actual challenge, it faltered as their members couldn’t feel so high and mighty anymore.
Also, do not call yourself a prince as you most likely do not have blue blood.
“I smell like pomegranate.”
Don’t know if that would work. I remember reading a while back that NSP was supposed to be the unofficial small-group server and that other small groups were invited to it as well as the tier in general.
As we can see, that didn’t work out too well. :p
“I smell like pomegranate.”
Trebs should do more damage against walls but have their range reduced enough that you cannot simply treb from one structure to another. It completely trivializes sieges as you could put hard work into taking something, only to have some kitten with nothing better to do, treb it down from a keep where you cant take it out.

In my defense all asura are ugly so easily mixed up.

So wheres the captures of the actual fights? You know of you fighting 6 of us..
So you took some SS of when we were just standing around and that proves your story somehow oh how you destroyed 6 of us? Those pugs you SS’d never even fought you they ran off to a camp before we even started fighting which wasn’t till around 5 mins after I had joined your party..
And we downed that mesmer 2 times btw while we fought you with your 4 vs our 2, once you mistform ressed the second he rallied off a raptor.
AFTER you guys died and came back from spawn is when we had pugs on our side who actually attacked you. And that’s when you both INSTANTLY ran off without attacking anything at all until you caught Varcona right outside your spawn.
I did forget the part on ruins when you ganked me from invis , but there was more then 2 of you at that point.
I know I know though, you won’t ever admit to losing even once because you are soooo awesome.. Just like when Andro and Var crapped on you in straight up set up 2v2 and 1v1 duels, and the next day you claimed the story was opposite..
^^ Which by the way was you joining OUR party and raging at US before any XOXO ever did that to you.
Also the only reason I ever even joined your party and said what you can plainly see I said in the SS’s was because of you emoting.
Do you subconsciously block out unfavourable details or is this done on purpose?
Yes, my ability to take screenshots while fighting is generally limited. What it does show however is that you werent willing to come fight us. Those pugs did end up fighting us as that was the time that the mesmer died. You are referring to a different battle, screen cap below.
Additionally, I never claimed we killed 6 of you, re-read my post. Actually, calm down before doing so. This might prevent you from reading my words through a most biased of lenses.
Also, I didn’t die that night on my ele as I didn’t have to restack. I stayed at 25 stacks of precision which is just how I like it. Also, I have never “joined” your party. You might want to know who you are talking to before throwing out random stuff.
As for the emoting comment, this takes the cake. If you look at the screencap, it clearly shows that the mesmer was bowing. That is your justification for insulting people? If you are referring to the laugh emotes, that is of when you ran from the fight when we 2v3’ed you and was later, as can be seen through the picture numbering order.
At the end of the day, if you beat me in a fair fight I will pat you on the back and say “good fight.” Some of your guildmates might as well, however you would rather insult those people that beat you in a fair fight and then run your mouth and I will call you out on it when you do.
In this screenshot you can clearly see 2 dead allies back where you ran away from, and there was more before that. You are good at taking screencaps and then taking it out of context though. And there was other emotes before the bow (which I can’t clearly see btw because I speak english), if it was just a bow I would take that as someone wanting to duel, not offensively..
I have had some good fights with some KOM, especially your annoying kitten sword thief he’s good. KOM was the first ones to trash talk and brought up this whole scenario in this topic btw.
That was when we left spawn actually.
Beugt = Bow emote
Zeigt = Point emote
and unfortunately no, I brought it up because you guys decided to join party, insult us and then claim you were a relaxed guild. If you can’t handle it then don’t start it.
“I smell like pomegranate.”
I really enjoy the run and waypoint strategy they use. If you want to talk about fair fights we had our 2v2 duel awhile back where we roflstomped along with 1v1 duels where Andromeda and myself both kitten on your mes and ele. Then the following day you join our group and claim that you won the duels and we called in a zerg to kill you. You are a little delusional.
At this point in time the only KoM member that has my respect is the asura thief he fights against bad odds all the time and makes a good show. I think I will start recording you ride the lightning and waypoint, will make a good montage.
Yeah, we waypoint when you bring a huge zerg to fight us instead of fighting with relatively even odds. I see that you enjoy lying as much as your teammate.
Remember that time we 4v4’d your mesmer group and killed you all with ease after which you claimed that it wasn’t a 4v4 because we attacked you without warning on the field? Apart from the blatant disregard for what pvp is, we even offered you a rematch but you declined. You can continuously lie all you want in order to maintain your e-rep or whatever is you are trying to accomplish, but at the end of the day, I can remember when both of you started insulting us and then shortly after losing an even numbers fight, only to run away and not challenge us again.
In case you care, I would respect you if you came back after losing and said “good fight, let’s do it again” at which point you would try a different tactic to win. But until your main tactic is trash talking and coming back with more, instead of winning due to you trying to better yourself, you are nothing more than zerglets.
That 4v4 was a stealth rush on 4 of us waiting to watch a duel with a friend from a different server. You don’t remember the fair duels we set up? If you are the ele then you may remember me at 100% you downed. Probably not though since you are clearly delusional.
A stealth rush on 4 mesmers who all fought back right away. We also didn’t get the first mesmer down until 30 seconds into the fight, which indicates that we didn’t simply blow everyone up, right off the bat. Stop making excuses for your losses and take it like a man.
Also, nice try at posturing, but that was another ele. You can CLEARLY tell us apart as I am the sexy-cute ele and the other asura ele is pretty ugly. In fact, you should be able to tell me apart from all other Asura, as mine are always sexy-cute and the others, especially males are generally ugly.

Ah you’re talking about me when I joined and wasn’t raging (also never died) and just said you guys are nothing more then gankers (you are – self admited, read a few pages back). To which you said we were afraid to 2v2 you on our kittenty warriors. To which we then fought you 2(us)v4(you and 2 pugs) and got both of you. Then you came back and this time it was 4(us and 2 pugs)v2(you) and you didn’t even try to fight just ran like little girls until varcona over extended then you jumped on him for the ele kd lolglass shatter burst gank .
I have NEVER out of the 100’s of times I’ve seen KOM, seen you stick around for a 5v5 3v3 or anything close to that, all you girls do is run to get an overextender you can 5v1 gank and call yourselves good. So be it, whatever makes you feel good, just don’t come here all high and mighty.
You are one of the instances, yes.
Also, your post is filled with so many lies, it entertains me.
You were 3v2’ing our servermates and had downed 1. We jumped in and killed all 3 of you, so you did die.
Afterwards, when we challenged you to a 2v2 you refused and sat in your tower afraid of fighting us until you brought in 4 more people.
Then, we had an opportunity to fight the 2 of you + ranger. Both of you were senselessly chasing the mesmer around while I killed the ranger. I then came back and we killed the other warrior at which point you ran away to the safety of your tower again.
I guess you just didn’t want to die to “average” players yet again, even when you had a numbers advantage.
Here are some screencaps to back-up what I have said. If you want to provide proof of what you claim, I suggest you download photoshop as there is no other way for you to do so.

I’ve actually never had a larger proportion of players from a single guild rage at us, than xoxo.
It seems to follow the same trend as well. They join party, start whining saying we are overhyped or something like that. We then fight them with even numbers, they lose and then they bring 2-3 times the numbers.
It is quite entertaining.
I know, I know… We’re baddies. And carebears ( me).
I even remember losing to a mosquito. I hope he has a forum account, I would love to hear his story.Hey, look at what I am replying to. The intent of my post was to demonstrate that what he said was incorrect, as we have never come across such a large proportion of a guild that has raged at us.
This isn’t a post where you reply in a manner that tries to make you look like an innocent victim in a pitiful attempt to solicit pity. This is a post where you reply with something along the lines of “Yes, sometimes some of our members get worked up about the game. It happens to everyone sometimes.” At that point, I say something along the lines of “Fair enough. We all sometimes put too much energy into a silly game.” This would cover your guild-members raging and then we could get along.
If you want to manipulate people by playing the victim card instead however, then it is your choice to do so.
Because your statement is a little biased. We hardly have 5 active members during prime time (east time for me). How is it possible for us to bring 2-3 times your numbers unless you’re soloing? And so far, I rarely see KoM soloing. So imho, you’re exagerating a bit. Hence my exagerated answer.
But of course, I can be wrong. It just rarely happens when I’m playing. For the raging part, I don’t know. I’m not that kind of a player who need to join a party to rage after them. I just want to have fun before heading to bed. Lol, I don’t even spike solo’ers who lose agains’t me. I just /bow and move. I try to be as respectful as possible.
It’s just really annoying to read all these accusations this morning. But I can understand that people got annoyed by XOXO trolls. I think we deserve our reputation :s
I never claimed that they come back with 2-3 times the number of xoxo members. It’s generally other guilds that they call in for back-up.
You may be a nice person and not rage at people, but we have on multiple occasions had xoxo members join party after they died just to insult us. So if someone from xoxo is going to claim that the entire guild takes it easy, then I will call that out as being the lie that it is.

PS: it would seem that you guys have more than your fair share of ladies (maybe more so on NSP), to that SF would like to extend an invitation for them to: “drop the zeros and get with the heros”, the rocket ship is boarding soon ladies, don’t miss the flight to T6.

I guess as a guild of like 7-8 actual current players we just expect more out of players we know are decent/great. We’re competitive guys, we have gaming experience, and sitting around using 20 other people as a buffer would make all 7-8 of us log in 4 and 1/2 minutes. It just isn’t rewarding when you win this way.
We know a lot of you forum people aren’t bad players, just have this crazy thought of you guys actually exerting a little energy to fight in challenging Scenarios rather than always reverting to ez mode. Guaranteeing wins is what people brand new to gaming wait for and shoot for. I have a hard time (obviously) wrapping my head around watching players i know, who are probably better than i am, waiting to guarentee a win against us. For this thought I along with a couple other PAXA members are called crazy.
I know this might come as a shock to you. But I’m going to lay it out for all to see.
Just possibly , maybe , we don’t take this (game/ourselves) as serious as you do. For me its about fun , laughs and some good old trollol.

I don’t know ANY other small mans on HoD other than who we also run with [KoM]. They run anywhere from 5-9 people. Usually in between. We run at most 6 people. We have never merged the groups…. But have made groups under that 9 person mark. Why you are crying we didn’t hold back on you doesn’t make any sense as those NSP "small " mans inside Zergs haven’t?
[VLK] has some dedicated roamers who are fairly fun to fight with. Granted I spend all of my time in EB, so I probably don’t run into any of the BL ones.
And yeah, I never really understood the whole obsession with “fair fights.” I don’t really mind getting ganked by 7 people every once in awhile because I can’t say I’ve ever held back when I outnumbered someone. I’ve only run into PAXA in 1v5 situations, and I don’t really hold it against them.
The only thing I find slightly annoying is when people will straight up run if they do not outnumber someone. This includes the 10 KoM at umber yesterday (ran every time we brought more than 3 people), and the NSP pugs who instantly abandon a tower/keep when the walls go down. As soon as the gate opens, all of the other NSP disappear into thin air and I’m the only one left in the tower. Usually ends in me dead on the floor of the lords room, when we probably had enough people to mount a successful defense before everyone ran.
Do you lie subconsciously in order to make yourself feel better?
The last time our guild had 10 players on in WvW was in december on a different server. We had 4-7 players around Umber yesterday during the day, depending on whose wife was nagging them, causing them to AFK. Furthermore, there was an NSP and SF zerg fighting over umber. NSP zerg at 20-25 and the SF zerg with 30+.
Since there were so many enemies, we didnt want to get caught between 2 opposing zergs, thus stretched your zergs out and then turned into them.
It worked wonderfully as we would manage to kill almost half of your zergs before either the rest of the zerg caught up, or the opposing zerg came.
My favourite moment of yesterday must have been when 15 NSP chased 3 of us all the way from the ogre camp, through pangloss to the front gate of veloka. We pulled you guys into SF’s siege range at overlook where a bunch of you started dying. Your thirst to zerg 1/5th of your numbers got most of you killed. It was a joyous occasion.
tldr: ranger pets, mesmer clones, elementals and turrets do not count as players. Your zergs were dying and our small group was not. L2count.

Alright seems like I need to give you a English lesson.
Two days ago, I posted “Bet 10g NSP keep doesnt have any buff on and the claimer is TFG”, which was obviously in present tense(yes, I mean you can’t read properly). After that I went to check the buff on keep and of course there was no buff on “at that moment”. About five minutes later, SF downed the water gate and TFG put buffs on(still no supply buff). In modern English, when some one use a present tense, he/she is referring to things that are either happening or things that often happen.
I think I am clear enough on the bet and if you still couldn’t comprehend, you might want to go back to middle school to learn the detail version of modern English grammar. Or you are one under-aged player who hasn’t finished the education(well GW2 is a rated T game, so I can’t help much if you are really under-aged).
Oh well, I believe you are not going to look at this anyway since you mentioned “I won’t say any more”, which proves that you are a bad reader =(
Oh, this is rich. I won’t even bother going through the rest of your post, but if you are going to be a kitten, then try not making multiple mistakes in the first sentence.
e.g. *an English lesson

Of the 2 guilds from the higher tiers claiming so in this thread, the DIS guys were simply put, nothing. They’d died as easily as zerglets that were separated from their swarm.
The AoN guys were pretty solid when running with 10 and could wipe pugs quite effectively. On the rare occasion that we would find them 1v1 or even numbers they would melt quite quickly however. Additionally, just the addition of 5 of us to a fight they were in would force them to retreat or die.
The pugs are just as bad in the lower tiers as in the higher tiers, but a higher percentage of T7 enjoys small fights than in the higher tiers.
I highly doubt that you were able to beat AoN. In fact, I don’t even remember fighting HoD, or any of you guys, ever. I don’t think we’ve fought in the last 3 months. Where are your claims coming from? Simply lies, I suppose? And AoN very RARELY runs 10 people.
This is from a while back when SoR was in t2. We just recently transferred to HoD. I generally only remember seeing you guys with 8-10 players.

Hey its that Cosa guild. I never see you guys in wvw.. but. Yet you seem so familiar. Hmmm
Funny cause we were in WvW when you got booted homeboy????
Also CoSA is 2 guilds (formerly 3) strong, made up of people like me who only WvW all the way down to people who never WvW, so I promise you we are in WvW to some extent. But I know cray will be cray, I mean y’all XyXy were the ones responsible for the legendary(pun)transfer, debacle…..Pretty sure if you don’t get that hint, there 3-4 pages of this thread likely dedicated to it….
Maybe I should have clarified, we all know you guys got the forum game on lockdown, we meant bring it IN GAME…rofl…
Please do bring it, in game. I never come across any cosa members that challenge me.
A bit of advice, key-turning and mouse-clicking skills will make it a bit difficult for you. May I suggest heading to queensdale and practicing how to play on npcs. You may see significant improvement in your ability.
ps: try and solo the npcs in queensdale and don’t call a zerg when a centaur kills you
Theres those legendary gankers now, 3v3 or outnumbered its tuck tail and run, anything less than their 3 and theyre on it like a fat kid on cake…Please instill some more of your sage smacktalk loll…….
I have absolutely no idea what you are saying. Did you mean to quote someone else? Did you accidentally delete multiple lines of your paragraph in order to produce that post? Please, do tell!
Oh man, I was gonna ignore this post, but then I saw this post that says the same thing I was essentially “hinting” at:
I was impressed with a KoM mesmer last night who wasn’t running away to safety when his HoD pugs scattered like roaches when 3
PS: Thanks XOXO, for at least keeping it real. (not sarcasm, just saying you are seeing the same things on the field that I am)
Out of curiosity, which [KoM] do you think I am in as I’ve seen one or two other KoM’s on HoD?
“I smell like pomegranate.”
XOXO is as hard to impress as PAXA!
I was impressed with a KoM mesmer last night who wasn’t running away to safety when his HoD pugs scattered like roaches when 3 XOXO started downing them. He put up great fights all night and even when it got to be fairly zergy he and I always seemed to be having a 1v1 in the middle of 15-20 people. Was a lot of fun.
Was it a female sylvari? If so, he used to be on the opposing server when we were in t1 and we would have some fun small guild fights against his guild. He got sick of the perma-mega zergs in t1 as well and joined us here.

I mean I’m running around hod borderlands right now with my tag up.
KILL ALL THE TROLLS.
You can’t even 1 v 1..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNZG9CfG93E&feature=youtu.beThat was painful to watch, especially the second fight since it was clearer.
For starters, the thief was not very good. Dagger storm in a 1v1 against a d/d ele? Seriously? Better off using basilisk venom to help burst the ele down.
Secondly, watching the ele play made me cringe as it is one of the 2 classes I WvW with. After her updraft, there was a perfect distance to fire jump then fire grab the thief. Instead she runs in to lightning auto-attack. Oh god…
The dagger storm made sense considering the lightning elemental that was out (ranged) and the fact that she wasn’t actively attacking him at the time.
No, it is a complete waste. Should’ve burned down the elemental if he was worried about it. The stun from basilisk venom would either make the ele waste a cantrip or with good timing when used at the end of the fight, stunlock the ele before she can heal up. This allows a bigger window to burst the ele down.

Sorry guys, but it does take more effort than pressing 1. It is a lot about leadership, followership, and positioning.
Also, combo fields and support need to be very on their game.
The saddest parts about posts like these is that us larger guilds know what 5v5s are like and know the skill level involved and can comment on the skill type.
On the other hand, those of you who do not run with more than 5 people and have never commanded or organized more than 5 people have no clue how to and have never done what we have done.
It is safe to say you can not comment on being in an organized WvW guild zerg until you have actually participated in one.
Flame on!
I very much know how zerg v zerg is. I had been the designated pvp raid leader of one of the factions in my last mmo. Coming over to this game, I realized that GW2 had weak raid mechanics and that it encouraged smaller group battles.
Sure there are some skills required in zerg fights. Zerg positioning, leader communicating well and class build up make the bulk of that. This however is all included in small group fighting as well as more. Does one ever have to dodge roll an attack that they see coming in a zerg fight? No, because there are so many animations going on that you cannot even hope to see that attack coming in. Do you coordinate cc with your dps in order to focus fire a target down? No, you aoe. If you as an individual mess up, does your entire zerg wipe? No. Doing so in a group fight however puts the entire group at risk.
So is there more to than just pressing 1 in a zerg? Sure there is, but the amount of skill involved is far less than that of group fighting, even in regards to zerg cohesion.
Now if everyone in that zerg was in one big raid, if you had multiple target assists with target callers, if you had limited res ability that did not simply include pressing F and waiting for 1-2 seconds, if you actually required focus fire as well as many other aspects, perhaps there would be more skill required in a zerg, but as it stands, it is quite limited in GW2.
What GW2 does provide however is for individual skill to matter immensely. Any person can defeat any class if they play right.
Yes we do dodgeroll based on when we need to mitigate a large amount of damage we predict incoming and yes we do focus fire. Being able to keep calm and focus amid the chaos of large group fights is what makes us come out the other end alive.
Many of our best players in WvW zerg v. zerg PVP happen to be the best small group players as well. Jovolt, for example, is a rather squishy theif who weaves through the zerg, gets around the outside and bursts people when necessary. his ability to avoid damage with dodge rolls and restealths at the right times in order to get ouf of 20-40 people alive. I have many warriors that can go in and take a good few hits to let our AOE focus fire down int he correct spots.
There is coordination involved and I could care less if you have raided in a billion games before this.
If you zerg presses 1 and F all the time and my zerg actually puts in the effort to play with skill. what do you think the outcome will be?
Maybe this is why the HoD zergs have been dying so often to lesser numbers?
Yes, you dodge roll when you are being attacked. That doesn’t take skill. It does however take skill to learn the animations of the enemies fighting you and dodge their attacks. Are you truly trying to compare random dodge rolling in a cluster to a dodge roll used to avoid an attack you see coming?
Secondly, the focus fire of a zerg is limited to, “attack that area”. Unlike in a group, you cannot all focus the same target.
Thirdly, I was talking about the differences between zerg fighting and group fighting in regards to how much skill is involved. That cool story about your thief appears to have more to do with trying to compliment yourself than anything else.
Fourthly, there is no need to get so defensive as I never stated that it didn’t require coordination. Also, I am glad that you have admitted to caring somewhat about the issue. At least this shows you’re interested in the subject at hand.

And after all I do to help you guys out? I DID train our commanders. You guys just don’t know who I am because I don’t want the attention.
I made my decision, as selfish as it is, and I thought I’d be happy. Really. I prove myself by capturing hod’s garrison and etc by myself.
I will be completely honest with you guys. I love this game. I love this community. Hod was my home, and I’m sorry that I can’t go back to all my friends. I’m moving to db after this week to join the rest of the people who got smart and moved before all this kitten started. Hopefully nothing drastic will happen to me.
But if you don’t see me on for a week, something DID happen.
Thanks for driving me away from my favorite game of all time guys. Thanks for making sure that my friends IRL no longer talk to me. Thanks for ripping out my heart.

These tidbits are a wonderful display of your character. Selfish, egotistical, manipulative, rude and then you try to guilt-trip people for calling you out on those traits.
Anyone want to start a cross-server fund to transfer this person off this tier?

These PAXA guys might smell funny, but they are pretty solid. A part of me wishes that I was on an opposing server so that I could fight them for the challenge. :p

Oh the shame~~ :VVVVVV)
Wait you’re implying HOD and NSP are teaming up on SF? You’re SF right?
You understood what he said? I tried reading it 4-5 times to no avail.
“I smell like pomegranate.”
Wait, let me see if I got this right.
Your best WvW experience was when you decided to pve in a pvp zone at which point you found someone else who also wanted to pve from the enemy team. Both of you were too afraid to pvp in an even 1v1 fight so you decided to pve together and then run away from each other.
That’s just… oh hey, there is this awesome WvW map that you might enjoy. It’s called Queensdale. You should go there and stay there.

You troll people kill me xD Mostly because of the self-contradiction. I love that kitten honestly. kitten and complain about how “zerging is not our style” then join up a zerg to spawn camp SF spawn in NSP (coughPAXAcough). Then when the zerg mentality is thrown back at you people, demonstrated, you get all defensive like “we never said we didn’t zerg.” If that’s the case…. Get better at it.
…
They joined a zerg to spawn camp you? Really? Are you talking about when they were fighting alongside our 7-man guild group to push back the masses of SF that were streaming out of the spawn?
Yeah… they joined a real big zerg there. (My elemental doesn’t count as a person btw.)

Only one of those people was dead, namely the [LYSS] member as can be clearly seen in the video.
You feel the need to boast and brag about your supposed achievements and perhaps if it was how you said, then you may have had the right to be proud. However it appears that you purposefully lied in order to shame your opponent. There is absolutely no honour, nor anything respectful about that.
If you wish to “Brag” then do so based on merit, not on a lie.
That, is known as a red herring, just an fyi. We had a LOT of fun here, a member of PAXA said they had never seen our tag that night, so we posted a video. We also described the situation as it played out to us. If that is ‘shaming’ and ‘purposely lying’ then feel happy that you have called us out on it.
Could there have been more people on our side than we remember? Absolutely. Was that the point? No. If people are going to exaggerate and post insane numbers (30+) and we reply with what we experienced that’s far from being aggressive, at least in my opinion.
As I’ve stipulated many times over, we were disappointed when they left. You making assumptions about our intentions is the only ‘shaming’ act I’ve seen. Is there really a need for such hostility?
Perhaps you ought to review your understanding of the red herring fallacy as my mention of your deliberate faulty number counting is exactly what the posting of that video was about. Even though the individual who posted the video edited his message, his original message and post-edit still give the same message which is to try and shame paxa and brag about your own abilities. Now I know that you are trying to back off at this point seeing as how you understand that it won’t benefit you, but you ought to have thought about that prior to posting those original messages.
