I am trying to create macros to make things simpler. One of the macros I would like is to have it say [Border Waypoint] and be linked as if I had shift clicked on the border way point.
I see no reason to change them, I have not even seen them used in game and my server is playing some fairly heavy hitters lately (not doing great but playing them) I am on dragonbrand.
I wanted to chime in a bit here. We appreciate that people really enjoy organizing their own combat in WvW and we are very aware of it. We’ve been discussing what can be done about that. However, WvW is its own game type and it requires attention specific to it. We are focused on making WvW as fun as it can possibly be and we will continue to make changes to WvW with that in mind. Our decisions regarding WvW will always have the needs of WvW paramount.

I think at this point we all have to understand WvW is not going to be DAoC II. That just isn’t how they designed the game, and it’s too late to change it now.
The nub: WvW is an Arena for zergs.
By adding sPvP to WvW, they are providing an Arena for 5 mans and roamers.
Under the circumstances, that is the best that can be hoped for.
I feel like the new capture zones will be dominated by zergs.
They will be, server is already talking about zerging them.
Hmm guess it is time to see how many guilds one can create. Would be nice if each character can make a guild then I can have tons of space.
O and yes I support the idea, afkers and gvg should be punted from the battle grounds.

I noticed I can no longer click to buy a bank tab like I can with my inventory. I currently have 6 or 7 tabs.
I did notice in the gem store an item I could purchase for more bank tabs that will ad a bank tab when the item is consumed. And that 7 additional bank tabs total can be purchased including any previously purchased in game.
Does this mean I am maxed out, or can I purchase up to seven more on top of what I have?

Getting them out in the open if their not in a zerg is am ok thing. Although wvw has already been screwed with enough to appease spvp that making it any more tempting is a bad thing.
Wont matter, folks will just auto cast their heal.
The only actual complaint I saw in here was “slow”.
I too agree Mesmers are pretttttty slow. I think the real problem is that the other classes are too fast…But anyways…

To be honest commander abilities would be pretty abusable, for example; if a trait was introduced where the commander had a much higher health pool this would be abused by low hp classes or in GvGs.
Hopefully they have more sense then to worry about gvg and what negative affect something may have on the people who are taking spots up in wvw and not working to help their server. Last time I looked their were private arenas.
Lets get coding and fix this already.

There are literally three people on Eternal Battlegrounds in NSP, with so far I have found a whopping 6 SF and no IoJ in sight. I have never seen it this empty in an entire year, was there a major transfer or something that happened?
I haven’t seen any of our main commanders in a long time at this point, and even SBW isn’t akitteng in Lion’s Arch. Where are the people at?

Only if they make it so we can read what all players say in /say. One of the best parts of the game is to have them whine.

This is the type of upgrade to the system we will likely be making, but it is not a short-term project. We feel commanders aren’t getting enough mileage out of the system as it is now and we’d like to make it much, much more robust.
The draw back to this is their is not a lot of time left for the players you do have, at least those I have talked to. Many have already left, more are leaving as their beta invites come through and others are simply waiting for other games like eos to come out and are doing other things in the meantime.
It is possible that more types of ascended gear will be added to the game at a later date. So don’t give up hope yet.
It is possible although as slow as the company is I feel it will be to late. Friends are already dropping out and doing other games and beta’s. And no real point trying to get the laurels on the off chance they will add them and actually be speedy about it.
WvW was the only part I really care for in the game and it is becoming stagnant. Who knows maybe the expansion and new lands will come out soon, or a major WvW over haul. On a side note, thank you for the replys and for helping out! Hope all is well for you guys!

I would love bigger maps. Take the maps we currently have and make them into a single map. And introduce new maps of a large size. Have some objectives give more points for the team that holds them based on the amount of people that took it. The fewer players that contributed the higher the points for it. Encourage the breaking up of zergs.
Not going to happen … ever. There are about 8 months of posts from ANet pointing out that the current maps are as large as the game engine can handle.
That is a disappointing fail on their end, to bad they did not plan better. Perhaps they didn’t think they would ever have the population to need a bigger map other wise not sure why one would not have a scale able option.
You guys know that the game engine is incapable of handling maps larger than they currently are, right??

I am ok with this, let them rent an arena and be done with it. They are not helping the server by dueling and are taking slots from players who want to contribute and do the objectives.
They should have a reset option for like 1k badges, or for gems.
True, although any time the company makes a major change they should be re set for free. The company should not expect the customer to pay for the company’s mistake. And making major changes such as a new line is a mistake if they do not offer a free reset.
Most likely refers to the fact that they are doing something (removing ?) the lake in the borderlands.
I am a fan of the game and I try not to get all kitteny about upcoming changes, but it won’t surprise me if they end up putting in an underwater tower. From their perspective it would add a “new dimension” to WvW play. Course few like underwater fights so it would be something else to complain about.
I am really hoping it is something fun just trying to prepare myself for a let down kitten many features added to WvW have been… looking at you character bound WxP.

In saying making the current WvW maps one, would you also merge the population caps? If not, how would you expect people to cover that much ground with the current map population caps? Also are you say that zergs should not be able to defend all the objectives they take?
To me, it seems you have posted a incomplete thought. This sounds like you think WvW is to hard so we should make it easier to take objectives by making so the zergs can’t defend everything. I’m just saying that “just making the maps bigger” isn’t going to fix the current issues with WvW. Merging maps is a bad idea because the current maps were made this way for a reason.
Give them time, they are planning a change to the middle island so that may be the start to changing the WvW maps.
No I would not merge the population caps, the reason for this is to make it so that zergs (easy mode) would be broken up and would require smaller groups and coordination to defend what they have.
The population could be increased slightly say 1.5 of the current cap. Another way to curb this could be have waypoints power diminish the further from ones own starting keep. So that only x amount of players can wp in at each distance per minuet or three. Although they could still hoof it.
So no defiantly not saying WvW is to hard, it is to easy for the server with the larger zerg. Would look at making it more strategic then just going with the herd.

Are the orbs coming back? No. Are we bringing back the buff? Yes, although the way you get it and hold it is going to be drastically different. Are you going to see a major map change in concert with this? Yes. Is it coming soon? Most definitely.

I do not see the need to have this changed. My regen ranger can take down necros and engineers with out much issue at all. My guardian is great at cleansing my friend I WvW . And if you want to deal with conditions then use the proper runes and foods, done right conditions are not much of a problem other than anets shody programing and the combat log not recoding it.

As of today the combat log still is not working, you know showing combat. Really wonder why they cant code this its been how long?

for the OP, the build you linked is a great fail, the person who made it didn’t understand what they were trying to achieve. The terror traits are useless unless you have a specific rune setup (its like, 2 of 3 different types of runes to boost condition duration) and you need rare veggie pizza running 24/7 to get the second tick of fear damage.. and even then it’s mediocre.
Curious as to what you’re trying to do.
I could have sworn I put it in the op. Solo roaming and camp flipping, the build also does achieve the %100 fear duration.

Would be nice to have it removed. Sucks that an ugly coded poc overites and ruins the few good shield skins in the game.
This has been reported before and yet anet seems incapable of solving it.
The combat log does not show the proper or accurate information. Examples would be healing, and damage done by conditions. Rather major programing flaw or bug.
Hmm the oil and the stones I made both gave power…..guess I will try and figure out which ones are labeled wrong.
