We also had a special guest co-host with Blu. We got to have an amazing walk through by Cutie on the basics of Mesmer gameplay. He talked them through team gameplay and some great tips.

Alright, that’s good to hear! I hope you have some length of discussion about Brawn and the rumored Adrenaline Reworks. (Also all warr blocks are bad because all their chain skills are “generate a pitiful amount of adrenaline”.)
We may not cover it in the first podcast, but it will be covered I am sure in future ones.
Here is the VoD from this week’s BoC:

You will be able to check it out live on SOAC Gaming twitch: www.twitch.tv/soacgaming!
Make sure to tune in, for a chance to learn from the highest rated Mesmer in NA, and possibly a chance to play with him!
Great Show today!
Are you going to discuss problems or is this going to be a long session of trying not to step on Arenanet’s toes?
Well either way I’d still watch it.
If you have seen any of our previous weekly profession specific podcast, you would see that when it comes to the profession specific podcast we focus on two things. Bringing great content, and doing it positively. We will discuss the major issues that are preventing the warrior in pvp, as well as it’s humorous PVE reversal and neutral wvwvw position.
We will talk about stupid blocks (Mace 2). Bad traits, skills, animations, extended and easy to spot charges, and so on. The profession is on the warrior itself warts and all. However, we constantly stress to our podcasters that their is the forum way to present things and their is the sittingonacouch way. We believe in being positive about a class even when it is in a bad place, because in the midst of all the issues there are bright spots (maybe not in pvp). So there won’t be bashing, but there will be a legitimate discussion on the pluses and minuses of the Warrior as a class.
We have a regular scheduled time for the show now.
Fridays at 1pm PST/GMT-8
Don’t miss out – this week’s Guest is Denshee of The Civilized Gentleman
Argh, I’ve been making suggestions for warrior for a long time now :<
I will let the guys know to get you on as a guest :P soon.

In just under 5 hours from now, But of Corpse the Necromancer Podcast will go live at www.twitch.tv/soacgaming. This week’s guest is none other than Nay of the Ether. Bhawb and Gibbly are eager to talk with him about Minions AI in Pve, Open world support play, and Necromancer and Dungeons in the current state of PVE. Come join us, ask some questions, and watch as they cover the most recent all-necromancer dungeon run.
I think I am going to ask them about whether they miss 10 man dungeons or not.
Every Thursday 5pm PST/GMT-8
I am from California!
so it’ sprobably not!
This is the same issue we are having. I have an open ticket and I am tempted to print the explanations they are sending me as their reasons don’t make any logical sense.
I thought it was my ISP, but it’s not, everything else works flawlessly (BF3, TSW, general internet browsing).
It’s their servers dropping connections, but I wouldn’t know why. Game worked OK in the afternoon and evening, but now it’s just terrible.
Did you open a support ticket, I sent them the list of people who are having issues with the same problem, and they said well it’s an individual basis. Essentially they are saying multiple ISP providers at multiple locations are all having issues that are unrelated to Guild wars 2 at all, but only interferes with Guild Wars 2 because of the path it takes to get there.
If you buy that one I got some dry land in the ocean to sell you first. I did a ping test, and I had 5-10 seconds of 100 percent packet lost with only about 2 seconds of 0 packet loss than 20 percent packet loss for 3 seconds than gone again. The game is currently unplayable, and I have a tournament coming up that I am organizing as well as multiple shows to do with no ability for the last week to play the game.
So I got a reply from Anet, and guess what they said. It’s not them it’s definitely your ISP Provider. I told them wow, it’s impressive that my ISP provider singles out your game immediately after your most recent patch.
Please guys, email support and let them know it’s happening. Email them and keep emailing them until it gets handled.
I have uninstalled Pando, but the I still get the same connection issue as related above. It worked until the patch this morning, and now I am back to crap.
Team is set, just need standby players now!
@Arganthium, Everyone is biased to a degree. The guest is completely entitled to their opinions. One of the reasons for the podcast is that everyone has their own unique playstyle. In fact, I believe several times during the podcast Markus pointed out that he saw their point but tends to play differently. There are so many things that can be done with the thief in terms of playstyle, that we will have multiple different players who play differently on the cast.
I believe we have Nettle and a few other tournament guys who don’t play the same way as Caed and Jumper. While I understand your point, and am grateful you watched, there are many players who do play Caed or Jumper or Markus way, and they feel that’s the best way to play.
I am sure we will have a guest on sometime that will talk about a completely different style of build, and many players will disagree with them. This is part of the reason for the podcast to open up the thief players to the multiple different ways to play and how to play a thief in PvE, PvP, and WvWvW.
I am sure down the road, Markus or jumper will approach you about appearing on the show. You have been a great contributor to the Thief Community even if you havent’ played at the Highest tier yet.
June, 04 2013 – In this week’s exciting Thief Podcast, Caed joins our illustrious podcast hosts, Jumper and Markus Valadir, to talk Thief mechanics in tournament play. Caed explains his love for the big numbers. He explains why perma stealth is useless in tournaments, and he covers the much loved and yet sadly not represented P/P builds.
http://sittingonacouch.com/guild-wars-2-thief-podcast-revealed-caed-episode-2/
I have never had an issue before the May 28th patch, and now I can’t stay connected for longer than 5 minutes. I have followed all the possible solutions here and it’s not working. I can play any other online game, but not Guild wars 2
Here is a screenshot of the issue
Regarding not inviting people who complain about your game and have a negative attitude, that is obvious, no people running a business would ever want to invite anyone who can openly point out the lot of negative things that their product of interest has.
And in the end the most important thing for the people at the top is money, that’s why companies make games. It’s not a game but a service to potentially earn something with.
This isn’t true. Kravick and I have had quite a few disagreements, same with Rennoko, Chips, Dredsoul, Talentless, Zombify, and I think just about everyone except maybe Del Onasi I have disagreed with and they have at one time complained openly about the game. I have invited all of them on, because they explained a complaint and didn’t spend every waking moment on the forums complaining.
There is a big difference between what a majority of the negative Necros do, and what the names above do. They post help whenever they can and then occassionally launch into a negative diatribe, not one gets on and posts about how uneducated those who post differently are well maybe dredsoul :P.
There is a difference between disagreeing and complaining. There is a huge difference between trying to fix something that’s broken, and doing nothing but trying to find something broken even when there are things that are not.
This thread was about thanking the devs for their most recent push into the Necromancer and their outright awesomeness in the last few months, and a few players have taken that joy and are attempting to squakitten and say that everyone’s a moron but them, and that’s neither helpful nor is this the place.
I love the Necromancer, and all it’s quirks. Our damage is fine…
maybe your minion damage it’s ok, my axe damage is lame.
I meant the overall damage of the class. Yes the axe damage by itself is pretty lackluster, but if you use it in conjunction with the class as a whole it’s okay.
I love the Necromancer, and all it’s quirks. Our damage is fine, DS abilities are wierd, but every class has traits that are really oddly placed. I appreciate the beginning of the thread with the actual thanks for a unique class that has so much potential. I know we have only have a little bit more to go and we will be good.
Positive reinforcement to improve something always brings about better results than an angry complainer who spends money. Let me put it in a way that’s more personal to me. If you screamed and told me my shows were horrible, and I was an idiot and that everything I did was wrong and then came to me and asked me to do you a favor and bring you on the show. Unless you were dredlord I would ignore you. You tell me how great my show is, how thankful you are for the show, and that you just want to see the necro class improve and that I should keep it up.Then illustrate ways for me to improve I will listen to you (Andele).
My point is simple. I love this game, and I love the Necromancer and I am grateful that even though it may be later than we want, but we are moving forward and for that I am grateful.
I am thankful for the Necro community who continuously pours the heart and soul ignore the cries that we are broken or the complaints from the GW1 fans about the changes. I am thankful that the devs didn’t listen to them and through crazy buffs our way. I am thankful for the Minions fixes that have come along the way.
I am thankful we don’t have the GW1 Minion AI or skills, though I do want their look.
I am thankful that the players who complain the most get ignored by the devs, and the community. A great idea doesn’t mean you have to badger someone to get there.
I am thankful for devs who have allowed BoC to work with the community instead of banning us to the Linksville.
I am thankful for the GuildWars 2, the devs, and the Necro Community for a great game because it could be worse you could be playing a panda.
Can someone tell me when is the first time we will meet up for practise, talks and whatnot ?

I went ahead and reported this post, and typed in this should be stickied. Hopefully, they understand that means don’t move it to linksville!
Incredible show including a visit by Karl. I will post everything on Monday when I get back into town.
I loved the show Amadeus, grackle, and Rose. I really do wish they weren’t so bad in pve. I actually never brought the ability to choose where to put them into pvp before.
What is khalifa’s secret, tell me please!
swag on blast
Khalifa making a comeback! Woohoo!
