Anise is my favourite npc and I would love to have a mini pet of her as well!

So… Since Countess Anise has a bigger role now and hopefully it will stay that way, can we have her armor please? It’s much, much prettier than all the armor and outfits in the gemstore. -.- I’d prefer it as light armor though, I don’t want brute warriors to dress in such piece of art, they don’t deserve it.

There is a new dialog with Canach at Vigil keep. He says that he will be “Shining Blade flunky”, so… The noble lady who bought Canach’s billet was propably Anise… Any thoughts on why would she want him? Do you think she used a mesmer portal for her back trip to DR from Vigil Keep? (xd) Maybe she has hots for Canach? (After all, all male sylvari are handsome <3) Does this confirm the return of the White Mantle? Will we finally get to wear Anise’s armor? (XD) I wonder how the relationship of Canach and Anise would be like… Love is in the air. <3 An interracial relationship would be amazing. Imagine… The stunning Master Exemplar of the Shining Blade and powerful mesmer – Countess Anise with a handsome sylvari criminal! <fainted>

I agree. This is the first backpiece that fits my mesmer and I can’t get it… ;/ Shame. And not fair. Other Gods backpieces are much easier to get…

YES! I need this armor… To survive in this cold world. I tend to afk in Queen’s Throne Room just to look at Anise’s beautiful armor.

I have the same Texas “Guy” with the same IP on my account as well and despite the mobile authentication! I got scared too… And was wondering how is that possible. xD But now when I think of it, this Texas “Guy” didn’t change my account’s password or didn’t disconnect me from the game, so I believe that it’s truly from Anet and not hackers. xD

I have a good pc and I also think it should be toned down. Too much is never good.

I agree. Some people just like those weapon skins from fractals and are willing to work hard for it. At least they would not need to rely on false luck.

Okay, as all may noticed, no Anise’s armor this patch. xD

I had a female human mesmer, but got tired of having clones all over the server without using my skills and decided to move from her to my new male sylvari mesmer. I really like his current look. He seems dark and mysterious due to his black skin, but yet the bright colors of his armor ensures he’s not bland. He’s 80 already and I love him! Never felt so unique.

Shoes, gloves and head armor is quite optional. I hide my gloves and shoes aren’t that much visible anyway, but I use Furnace Light Boots from SE dungeon.

Anet shown this picture before the game’s release. I still wonder why you cannot have it in game. It’s funny, since it is one of the best looking light armor.

They would be, if we would be actually buying something really beautiful… Like Anise’s Armor instead of the new Zodiacs. This is just an example of course, but I don’t see why would someone want to pay 800 gems for something that makes your character uniqueness just go away. xD This is my personal opinion though, there are people who like to have clones without playing mesmer. :P

I think there’s nothing wrong with butterflies. If someone doesn’t like it, he shouldn’t play it. Butterflies are symbolic to mesmers and I wouldn’t want that to be changed because someone wants a “masculine” effect on his male mesmer. That’s nonsense. :P
I don’t see why ravens or skulls could symbol mesmers… That’s absurd. xD

And yeah, as someone wrote before, straight male insecurity is always fun to watch.

Well, I love sylvari and I wish all humans would die. Can’t stand all of those baby faces and plastic dolls running around thinking they’re beautiful. xD Makes me laugh.

I truly wish we could get some response from ArenaNet about this armor. It would be much better to hear “no”, then nothing at all, but I don’t believe that they would want to waste such beautiful armor solely on a npc.

Anise is so pretty in this. I would want my human females to be pretty as well.

Speaking of T2, I think that Anise’s armor would be much more suited for female T2 instead of the current one. Male T2 is nice though.

I do not know what is worse then… Lingerie or nun clothing. We have only two elegant sets. T2 human cultural and PvE Masquerade, but the second one on females is quite revealing as well, though the elegance of this armor makes it look a little classy despite this fact. Wish there was at least one corset to wear. :/

WvW – Mesmer, Elementalist

Mesmer is the least popular class, closely followed by engineer. Both tend to be more used in pvp than pve though.

I dare say that most of the currently available armors would fit into “lingerie” category a lot more than this.

Mesmer: Pistol Main Hand and Dagger MH/OH. If completely new: Whip. I would be turning everyone into moas and whip them hard with my clones for humiliation. I think that Domination trait line would suit whip very well. xD

Exactly. I believe the noble’s dress you have mentioned is on the picture below. I just figured out one thing. I don’t know if it’s just me or this game is full of lies? xD Well… Not the game itself, but the promos. Anise’s Coat was in the mesmer trailer. I mean, when someone doesn’t know the game and he/she will do some research on the internet, find the mesmer trailer and think “Oh, that’s beautiful. I am going to buy the game for this.” and then… You are forced to run around in a bra or a bag instead of the armor he/she saw on the mesmer trailer. :c The other “lie” I found quite silly is that on the Anniversary trailer there was a sylvari wearing human cultural (T2). xD

Let’s see… The corset? It looks elegant, at least to me. Other light armors are mostly bras… And that’s definitely less classy. Much less.

Well, they had time creating Zodiac Armor for every race no one is actually wearing. :P They could pretty easily do the same with this, especially when it was said to be available to players long time ago and still isn’t, although many people wish it was and would buy it from the gemstore in a heartbeat. If not so, it could serve well as a new cultural for humans. They would only need to make a male version of it, but as I have mentioned before, lots of other races would like to wear it as well, but yet that’s a better possibility than not releasing it at all.

For the leap/swap, I propose a change for this skill funcionality. I think first usage should be blink to foe, and the ability to swap places, leaving a clone at the enemy. this way we can use 3, launch 2, and go back with 3 for nice combo. Also, mesmer needs a reliable gap closer. It’s really needed when you melee Lupicus or Ancient Ooze, but this gap closer works just so badly and slowly.

Or, it could be leap like warriors have, so it’s really leap, BUT illusionary, as we can return back to where we started.

I don’t agree. This would destroy the vast functionality of the current leap. Pvp wise, you can send a clone to the enemy player chasing you, he will propably ignore it and keep following you, but when he’s about to catch you, you just swap places with your clone and run in opposite direction. You have few seconds to do that, but it works even when the clone you summoned is already destroyed, you just teleport to the place when it was last standing. Teleporting to a foe and teleporting back leaving a clone at the enemy would not be usefull at all and thieves can already do that, but they easily teleport back to the enemy after they teleport away from him. Mesmer doesn’t have initiative. Mesmer is all about tricks and deception. Skill would become useless, especially in pvp. Illusionary Leap needs only a better aim while sending clone to the enemy. It doesn’t need to be entirely changed for worse.

Think of it that way: If they would make T4 cultural from it, it would propably cost 240 gold, while 800 gems are about 60-70 gold. xD
