As the title says how do you deal with a power based revenant as a DH? Either in pvp or wvw. Because I find them quite hard to kill at this point in a 1v1 situation which mostly results in me being the one on the losing end.

Can’t enter any WvW map while matches are being updated. Since the last patch I can’t enter any WvW map anymore and there are more people with the same issue..

I’d say Burning Oil Mastery. It gets taken out the first thing mostly if a tower is under siege, if they forgot it and have a zerg nearby you are as good as dead when they start hitting the oil.

Same here EB is a nightmare right now for me, yesterday it was only massive lag but today it’s more dc’s than anything else. Anywhere close to a larger group and I just dc, at other times it just randomly happens.

Had some great fights about SM this evening, if only the skill lag wasn’t that bad it would have been even more fun.

This is going to be an interesting week, it’s sure going to be a nice test for GH to see how well we can perform in the silver league.

Reset in EB was pretty fun but kitten both servers really pulled some numbers which is quite a change compared to our fights in previous weeks.

That was my raid yesterday and we had 20-25 people from MM at max. Klovan was the tower we finished our raid with. The reason we had some pugs following us, was because I used the commander tag as our “pug” commander needed a break for a few.

Normally we don’t run with a tag when raiding so yeah it got a bit blobby in the end.

Had some good fights at EB this evening with our raid, but UW why you have to wipe us when we are gathering our omnomberries?! That blob was so unnecessary :P

Seriously I never seen so many thieves on a server as on FR.

I don’t post much here at the forums but ugh I’m getting tired of seeing all this whining from GH if all those people would get their kitten in WvW we would have a higher chance of capping our points back.

Night capping will always happen it’s part of the game, I don’t care much about that it happens we done it before ourselves as well. Get over it if you don’t like being nightcapped then do something about it instead of kittening at the forums here.

I have no idea what’s up with GH but we seem to be doing bad this week and it’s nobody his fault but our own. So yeah deal with being focused then as right now we are the weakest server.

On a different note I enjoyed defending our keep yesterday evening in EB was good fun specially when both servers got in.

Thanks to FIRE for the GvG was a good practice for us was really fun and we learned a lot from it.

Awesome job from WSR for holding bay that long, that siege took us like 2 hours or so but it was great.

Epic fight at SM from all sides, most fun I had this week even tho the skill lag was just as epic :-P

After playing WvW for months and asking a lot of people I still don’t know why this bridge has an HP bar.

I can’t comment on the BL as I don’t play there often, but I agree we are more than just one guild.

Even without [Krew] we have a strong nightforce, and when I went to bed I saw a message from [Krew] that they were going to hit DZ BL so think we also got some green stuff there.

Plus that picture was only for EB but was to lazy to crop it.

But yeah some good fights last night even, specially with the germans it’s kinda cool to see a zerg use some kind of tactics at this tier like you guys do.

Awesome match up and hope next week will also be fun.

Had some good fights at EB this evening/night so far we managed to keep SM and we hit RoF a lot because they had the most wooden towers but we also hit DZ.

Was fun to mess around with RoF keep a bit but didn’t think we would get it anyway.

Besides we also get pushed a lot by both sides so it’s not like we are hitting one server.
And to be honest I don’t care who comes second.

Yeah I would donate if I knew the person would make a good commander if I’m not broke that is. I got 2 commander tags, first one I saved up for and second one I used the gold I saved for my legendary plus some donations I got from people.

Is what I run with, I might have a lot but as commander I get targeted the first so I just went totally tanky and still can do neat damage.

Xaoc are leaving GH friday to FSP, even tho you guys kitten me off a lot I wish you good luck with them

Was a pretty amazing reset for us on FSP, as strong as I’ve seen for quite some time. Commander Balutrik was great, as ever, leading the troops in EB; while [DIE] kept constant pressure on GH and FR camps/towers and [Kale] and [City] co-ordinated a very effective defence of our home territories.
As if this weren’t enough, [AoA] also came to EB (after already doing some great things in the bl maps), and led the push which saw us take GH keep!
In light of certain comments I made last week, I think we struck the right balance between our organised guilds and pugs last night, with each doing the things they are best at and doing them really well.
Great job all, I went to sleep a proud shiverpeaker :-)

Nope I got it with the JP at EB in WvW and done that a lot of times. Besides it would mean that people done all the JP couldn’t finish that daily otherwise.

SM last night was the most fun we had in a while. I hope there will be from those this week.

In WvW I mostly use melee weapons so greatsword and sword mainhand/axe offhand. In pve I use greatsword and rifle.

Hmm I don’t want to be totally bunker nor totally dps but more kinda a mix of both.

I normally play a warrior so bare with me I haven’t played my guardian in a while let stand at WvW so I have no idea what the best build is for WvW and what weapons to use.

My current build is 0 0 30 30 10

With II V XI in valor,II VI XI in honor and IV in virtues

My armor is all knights at the moment with soldiers runes

And as weapons I use a staff and a greatsword both berserker.

So is this any good or do I have to change things?

So I noticed the new monthly achievement it looks pretty much the same as the rest but the Intrepid Explorer is new. I didn’t had time to try it out. You basically need to discover jumping puzzles or it says that in the description. But since I already have completed 39 jumping puzzles thus also explored them how am I supposed to do this? Anyone tried this already? I didn’t had enough time to try it myself yet.

Learn to evade attacks, guardian has a lot of healing skills, also staff has healing attacks. And don’t forget to use the skills that grant aegis as they block attacks. You could also use scepter and focus or mace and shield as it has some regeneration and a block skill. There are other weapons that have that too but I can’t remember them all as my main is a warrior. And make sure you don’t go up against mobs that are like 3 levels above you to be safe.

You don’t like the Norn heavy armor cultural for T3? I think it’s one of the best looking sets in the game by a long shot…Part of the point of cultural’s is that they’re intended to be rare, and be very definitive of a each race and their respective archetype profession. I guess I wouldn’t be totally opposed to it but there’s all sorts of mechanical/systematic reasons as to why they never do this in mmo’s that make perfect sense in the end.

I like the Norn T3 Heavy armor as I own the full set. But I also want another for my other armor and it would be a cool addition to be able to use the medium or light armor version of the cultural armor.

I made my norn because I liked the way Eir looked for that matter.

I’m only talking about the cultural armor as it’s pretty expensive compared to the normal pieces and you still need the fine transmuting stones for it to work.

Okay now I don’t mean to sound condescending or like a troll, but this is an inherently stupid idea. Part of the reason for having different armour for different classes is to help players distinguish what/who they are fighting from a distance without having to click on their names and look at the symbol adjacent to their up bar.

This is something that will never be implemented for that reason, and also perhaps an entire cohort of others.

So you look at peoples armor to know what or who they are fighting? That alone sounds weird. By people’s armor you don’t know their profession as more professions use the same type of armor besides player’s are clickable for a reason.

I would like to see the ability to use the medium armor or light armor from the cultural armor set so you could just transmute it with the armor you already have and still get the look. In other word I would like to use Eir’s armor but I can’t since I’m a warrior.

Point of interest could be any city as people forget something there mostly and you still need two skill points and vista’s so check your map again to see where. And don’t look at the % but at the number of skillpoints completed or vista’s whatever.

Hmm I use a “Tankish” build for FotM with 10 0 30 30 0 using greatsword and rifle. Knight gear mostly mixed with some berserker pieces and runes of the soldier. Plus healing shouts they have saved my kitten more than once. So far made it to lvl 26 with that build.

Hmm both can win imo depending on how you play it. Warriors do way more damage than guardians but guardians have better healing/survival/block skills.

Not a fan of wvw unless you have a good team on your server which imo our server lacks. But I could be wrong as I can’t really get bothered with that. I only did wvw for the 100% map completion but I did that at a other server which was pretty awesome. But since I had some friends at Gunnar’s hold I went back and I also have a guild with a friend there so all my points would be gone if I switched server haha. Silly I know but that’s the reason I don’t like wvw at the moment.

As for dungeons anything goes though I’m not a pro at those.
With FotM I’m at lvl 24 but finding groups at that lvl is freaking hard.

My crafting skills suck as I always tend to run out of mats with all mmo’s so I’m not much help there :P

Additional comments: Hmm pretty quiet mostly, kinda used to playing solo as most of my friends already left. Think that’s pretty much it.

There is no limit as to how many times you can run a dungeon, the reward does get less the more you run it you will get less tokens then.

To equip those right click on them and select equip.

Account bound means you can use it on all your characters.
Soul bound means it’s only for one character.

Consumable already says it.
Trophies are just vendor trash.

There is a bank in each main city where you have to look for the bank icon which basically is a yellow circle with a brown bag in it.

Names are the same on every server.

As for having the same name just make a character with a last name.
