Welcome to the weekend when everyone is online and zerging apparently? Well your weekend I guess I still work 9 hours on Sunday so my Weekend starts at 18:00 tomorrow when everyone’s zerg’s hopefully drop 20 people and the super happy fun roamers/duelists come out to play.
Mags like to distract players with fightclub; so not everyone gets to participate in getting better scores at WVW. Then again, it was fun fighting them. Very strong ground forces, but very … weird forum warriors.
We’re doing a fight club while 2nd in ppt/score vs the 3rd place in ppt/score while the 1st goes all tryhard. We just like to pvp. Maybe CD will have fun one day~
Didn’t you know that giving people fair fights with equal numbers and a chance to win instead of repeated zergsmashes is a distraction tactic to increase the gap in our PPT?

I want to apologize for my actions in the EBG JP tonight. It was my first time camping and I was very rude and enjoying an unfair fight a little too much. It wasn’t sportsman-like or honorable to chain pull people to their deaths, kill them using 3+ people, and /laugh at that necro from HATE so many times.
But it felt so good.

I don’t understand Dragonbrand sometimes, I was stood outside South West tower yesterday, alone on the bridge with maybe 10-15 DB in the tower stood on the walls looking at me.
They proceeded to call in 2 teams to attack me from Ruins in groups of 5 which failed because “lol” thief. Then they built a Ballista and started shooting at me. Dragonbrand, color me confused?

My guildmate used to wvw with a mini quaggan pet. I scolded her for not putting it away since it followed her in stealth. Maybe I’ll tell her to take it out again to trick people into thinking the pro thief transferred to SBI.
Also, anyone got vids of this guy? I have seen him mentioned a few times now.
You’ll probably find him at a Fightclub if you want to see him fight, I normally see him there.
Players that frequent fight clubs are in the top % of PvP ability and most are easily able to dispatch 1v2 or even 1v3 odds when encountering zerglings.
I shall stop attending immediately less I bring your top % down. :P
Are you on about a build that just makes high use of Evasion or a build that uses Evasion and Condition damage?
My build at the moment uses Evasion as an absolute must to deal damage but I don’t really use Condition damage that much I mostly just use what I would deem “Defensive Conditions” eg. Stun, Blind ect.
I doubt SBI/CD will read this like every other fight club post.

First. I offer you a bottle of YOLO and welcome to our world. Every single match Mag is in now is already predetermined in terms of #1 and usually 2 and 3 but so what? It doesn’t mean no one is allowed * gasp * try.

Why this upsets you that someone points out that the games World vs World ranking system is nothing more then a ranking based on Population I don’t know..
I thought this was well known by now.
Why does changing the outcome even matter? You go up, you go down… You find fun fights either way you can still keep playing PvP and having fun.
I think most people understand at this point that “winning” in World vs World, has less to do how “skilled” your server is, and more to do with how “Many” are on that server.
This isn’t DAOC, The most populated server has the advantage pretty much 100% of the time in World vs World.
…they’ll let everything fall to five people and a superior ram…
This was no zerg battle, though at the gate of Garrison, we picked up more people. I can understand you’re not as populated or have as the same coverage/prime time as us but five people capped the entire eastern side of the map while double our numbers of SBI were at SW tower.
Was this when we were partied up? The “let’s just see if we can” Keep attack?
Also sorry again to that SBI Mesmer I was fighting outside your spawn I did shout at them…a lot to back off so we could continue, Please come to the next fight club.

I noticed something similar when I was in a party with a Mesmer yesterday that sometimes if you use a Sword/Torch and use the “4” ability the skill will at times word as “Hide in Shadows” on your stat line.
As for damage from the downed state? Eh I wouldn’t be so quick to say Over Powered it really depends on how glass the Mesmer is and how Tanky your armor is.
I just had a fun little fight with a Crystal Desert thief, Human female with D/D and Shortbow I think they guild was Amic? Or Armic? Something similar.
I’m on Windows 7 I’m having the same problem and I know a lot of other people are as well but at the moment we just have the bare with it.
You will die every so often because of it but really there isn’t much we can do at the moment but wait until the next patch and see if it works then. (I died in Crystal Deserts NN camp yesterday because it lagged out for 20 seconds and then did a fast forward of everything hitting me and DC’d strait after, so yeah I know it’s annoying.)
Maguuma has been reformed. We’ve learned a lot about civility from the last matchup. We will not engage in combat with anyone who waves or bows at us, and we will only send an equal number of players into the fray if such a situation comes up (I pray that it does not come to this).

Strangely enough more sub-80’s bowed back and or had a friendly fight/Duel than lv 80’s so I like your PUG’s (Or Alts).

Even if that is true did Kitty or a commander actually kill the parade? Otherwise it isn’t really able to be compared as the equal would simply be if the 6 TC whined for your commanders to kill Kitty not gank Maguuma’s at a Fight Club.
Just want to drop by and give a shout out to Maguuma from a TC player. I don’t know why, but this week all my most fun fights have been against you guys. Maybe it is because Maguuma fields a lot of smaller strike teams that tend to fun fights.
Anyway, whether killing or being killed, I’ve had a lot of fun butting heads with ya’ll. My favorites were fighting over dolyaks, heh, but trying to take your keeps, successful or not, is always a riot, too.
I think 80% of what I have fought this week has been TC to be honest that is how it feels. (Dragonbrand oh Dragonbrand where for art thou Dragonbrand?)
Though I have two fights that stick out fondly this week both from TC the first was against two confusion mesmers and a up level ranger trying to grab the Vista point on our NN camp.
The second was again a sub level (Necro this time) and a D/D Asura Elementalist also in NN camp. In the end we never finished the second one I got the Necro down but I couldn’t kill the Elementalist so bowed and followed them to the Vista.
I started using Sword and Pistol recently and I was wondering why there seems to be an alarming lack of it being used by other players. (Or at least in my experience in WvWvW)
I was wondering what the reason for this is I mean yes I know it isn’t as good a build as a Backstab thief or Condition P/D which I have both done in the past but I think it has it’s charms.
Maguuma sucks. Cap stuff and don’t defend anything. That’s the entire week. When I take that attitude 100 people mock me for being a “noob commander”. I can’t win. Neither can Maguuma, but everyone knew that.
Leafy you know I would defend with you anyway, heck remember Hills a short while ago didn’t even have time to change out of my PvE build we just ran off and defended it with you. Your not a noob commander I have seen far worse and I spend nearly 6 hours a day in WvWvW so I have had a lot of people to compare you to.

Sorry you had to see that. It’s embarrassing to see someone representing your server making us look bad like that. Just wanted you to know that most of us aren’t fans of that that kind of chest thumping. Hopefully, someone from REST will take care of it.
I’ve seen a lot of TC doing it to be honest this match up mostly on people they killed with higher numbers, heck I saw 15 TC’s “Jumping dance” on top of one guy outside Maguuma Garrison on Saturday.
I know it is probably just PUG’s but they really do kind of make you all look bad in those circumstances.
I’m not a technical expert by any means but I’m going to assume that because they released the patch during a heavy traffic time that it’s straining with the amount of people trying to download it.
So really wait it out I think is the only thing we can do.
Mag really cares about pvp more than hitting doors without resistance, so maybe we should do some fight clubs this week?? If you want group fights I’m sure you can get takers for 3v3/5v5/maybe more if it can be scheduled in advance.
Is it Mandatory as a Mag to take part because you have seen me fight and know I suck. :P

I tend to alternate without realizing it when I pay attention I noticed I start to click skills when i’m evading or if it is a heal skill like shadow Refuge or Hide in Shadows but then resort back to key bindings. I guess old habits die hard sometimes.
