I have noticed something really annoying… Lets say i buy 15000 drinks to get achievement right? So now i want to use it right? So im better gonna make those 30k clicks with my mouse right? WRONG!!!!!
I would love to see an option when i second click on some 250 stacks of something (mostly essences of luck – pretty annoying to click on it as well) USE ALL AT ONCE or something like that.
Those are for RECURRING events this is a NON RECURRING event. Pretty much vendors for non recurring events go away and you are out of luck if you didn’t do what you needed to before the event was over. Recurring events mean those items most likely will be available again in the future. If you missed out it was because you did not check, either in map chat or or forums if you were not sure. Very sorry if you didn’t but it is on those who did not do that not an, “Oh, I screwed up so you should make it right!” kind of thing.

Check in map chat you say? There were ppl telling me before 3/18 that there would be no glory vendors anymore and that i should spend all glory right away. And look, there still are glory vendors. So no i dont ask in map chat. And no i dont have half a day to search some forum for some npc sry.
ARENANET should keep these kind of npcs for few more days EVERYTIME some event ends.

I think that its really not funny how you could beat assault knights before and now you cant. So you let some ppl get 6 minutes achievements and then you change boss mechanics and now we barely can get it to holo. April fools right? Wait..what? No april yet? So its not a joke? Hmmmm. So my question is: do you really think its fair to let some ppl get those achievements then suddenly you change it, make it harder of course cuz thats your new style going hardcore right? I really dont like this at all. Also will we see 3 bosses from now on everywhere? 3 head wurm, now 3 knights next is 3 what? Pls dont take this as a qq post. Im just saying that its really not fair of you to change difficulty as you like, whenever you like, especially when its living story and we have limited time to get those achievements. Thats all im saying, and sorry that im kinda kittened. Its just my opinion and i had to say it out loud. I know you need very organized ppl and thats exactly my point. You are litterally searching the right server/overflow for hours, even for days to get some silly kill. I dont know how about you, but thats not fun to me. Also arenanet developers for the love of god please stop listening to those people who are saying `omg this game is sooooo easy`. Believe me you need to stop listen to them. Those are usually ones who get carried all the way. Your game is perfectly fine. No need to go hardcore at all cost. Just for the record i am top 50 europe player and im seriously starting to think its my time to leave this game only cuz you are going hardcore at all cost. Btw yes i killed the wurm and i dont think it was fun. Took me few weeks to get the right ppl and i need few weeks more now for knights and i really dont think i have them do i?
Please improve matchmaking parity first
I don’t think we are ready for ladders or seasons until we address matchmaking right now. Players of like rank and like skill need to be better matched together. I worry that ladders and seasons would isolate large groups of players from each other that might otherwise be compatible, due to the imbalance in matchmaking in the months up to this point.
We are still seeing too many matches of ranks like this: red team: 36, 13, 14, 52, 7 vs blue team: 37, 32, 28, 29, 34. Number averages don’t equal normalizing skill across a team.
Until this is fixed, you will be artificially pulling apart similarly skilled players and putting together incompatible players with any kind of additional layer of tournaments, ladders, etc. on top of a matchmaking system that isn’t working as well as it must.
Matchmaking improvements will likely come out at the same time, or some time before. We don’t have any dates yet, but a requirement of anything coming out of this CDI would have the new server infrastructure as a prerequisite.
Glad to hear that matchmaking is finally getting fixed. I just want to add that please bring wait time before match starts from 2 minutes to 1 minute and force people to join pvp immediately after all people for match are sorted out plus force people to press ready button. This may look like trivial request but in my opinion its not trivial at all and let me explain why.
Why bring wait time from 2 minutes to 1?
You just wait and wait and wait….People are usually very bored here. This is making them to go afk and match is starting without them. In gw1 wait time was 30 seconds why not here? I admit 30 secs may be short in some cases so i would go with 1 min. Also 1 minute is still enough to tell strategy (and lets be honest in 75% cases nobody is telling strategy to anybody)
Why force people to join matches immediatelly when matchmaking is ready?
In many cases 9 people are waiting for 1 player who is joining on very last second. You dont know who is coming (which character also you dont even know IF he/she is comming at all) so you basically cant prepare (change char/tell strategy etc). Also many times when somebody was joining on last second, they had some loading problems and then they started 1 minute later when match was already on.
Why force people to press ready button?
So that no match would start with afk people, also it would be nice if people got used to this (nobody is using ready button at this moment) this way pvp matches would start a lot faster. So lets say if somebody is not hitting ready button 10 seconds after 1 minute wait time is over kick them and replace them. This may sound cruel, but its better to punish 1 player instead of him punishing 4 others.
Anet you mix r0 with r80. Nobody is happy right now. R80 is not happy to play with unexperienced players and r0 is not happy with r80 refusing to play with them making ton of qq reports.
Another 1 daily achievement point stolen from me by anet. In case you all dont know – leaderboard is a lie.
Lol I just had a match a day or two ago in teamq where a necro was seriously just wandering around the map on foefire. Literally wandering the middle of the map not doing anything/fighting people that came near him. I kept asking in team chat what he was doing as we needed support at mid and he just kept wandering the whole match. The match ended and he was rank 1. This should not be happening.
This is exactly why there should be some sort of requirement to enter tournaments.
+ a “Ready Check” pre match. If it isn’t fully checked, remove the afkers and search to refill the gaps.
Yes we need something like this. We have 2 minutes till the game starts which is too much time. Many people during this time go afk and then the match starts with afkers. I say 1 minute wait time would be ok. Also i would force ppl to join pvp (from pve or wherever they are) sooner because many slowloading ppl join at the last second not making it on time and we are starting outnumbered many times because of this. Whats the point of having 2 minute wait time when ppl are joining on last second anyway?
Pvp lvl 20 requirement was just a suggestion. I just think no requirement to enter tournaments is silly, because there are people who never been in pvp before and that is really hurting whole tournament system. People should learn some basics in regular pvp first, before they enter tournaments. That is my opinion.
So if i want daily 8 tournaments wins i need to sit and play pvp for 8 hours every day. Yep 1 win per hour aprox. Nice. Thats a full time job. And yep i must be crazy. Today i had 5 matches out of 12 where we were 4 vs 5. Yep that was fun. But im not going to talk about how often im in 4ppl teams (btw pretty often), i would like to talk about how often i meet ppl coming to tournaments to play pvp for the first time (yep pretty often too). Today i had a player in tournament (btw im rank 48) who said: hi im exploring world of pvp. In that moment i thought to myself: cool i just lost again….. aaand…..we lost again. So im not really going to talk about how broken pvp matchmaking and all that is cuz we all know how it is and im pretty sure arenanet is working on some solution, but i would be sooo happy if there was some lvl requirement to enter tournaments. Lets say lvl 20? I really think people coming from pve could really `explore world of pvp` in regular pvp and not in tournaments. That would be really cool.
to all haters in this thread: everyone loves to play the game for their reason/game style. someone likes to collect minis, do i hate them for it? no. someone is really deep into whole story in gw2 which i really dont care about, but do i hate those ppl? no. someone is pvp player only, do i hate them? no i dont. i could give you more examples, but i believe you know what i mean by now. so my question is: why do you hate achievement hunters? are mini collectors forced to get those minis? nope. but they still want them so badly. are pvp players forced to play pvp only? no but they want to play pvp cuz they like it most. so pls stop hating us, we dont hate you for you kind of game style as well. in a way yes we are forced to do those daylies all, cuz it was easy in the past, but anet just keeps adding more and more and it came to the point when its really hard/time consuming to get. now i get to the point where my real problem with this is: anet added pvp daylies where they FORCE us to win and we all know you need 5 players to win. and here is a real problem. this win doesnt require only YOUR skill but all 5. i dont mind to get even 20 different daylies when it requires my skill only. but getting 1 where it requires more skilled players is a real problem believe me. yesterday it took me 8 hours to get those 8 pvp wins. im not kidding. first team bad lose, second only 3 players joined lose, third team terrible lose, next dcer lose, next good team but we faced better lose etc. i would really like this pvp daylies to be back where they were OR make it matches played and not matches won.
so again. pls try to understand even us, we dont judge you either. peace.
Or maybe he just got unlucky with his teams. Most teams I come across are simply horrible with no plan of anything. Very few people can carry a team with 4 noobs.
Solo queue is all about luck with your team and your opponents.
this is exactly why so many ppl are complaining about this right now..but so many still cant get it…including arenanet cuz they made this mistake in the past already and now they are doing it again.
im playing this for 4 hours already and i got 4 wins in solo arena only….this is ridiculous…i need 1 more solo win and then 3 team arena wins….so 4 more hours ahead of me gg… so basically i need 8 hours for daily pvp. thats half a day…. and im not counting pve achievements.

so now not only you got yours achievements cuz you are in huge guild on teamspeak, or you had luck to join no crap overflow,but you also wanna be richer. ok i got it.
…was spent in Sparkfly Fen, waiting for 6 hours to get into an overflow with my friends & guild to simply be presented with the “Server is full, have them guest over to yours instead.” message. So while they got four kills in a row, I got to stand in Sparkfly Fen spamming “Join party” and watching my overflow fail Tequatl four consecutive times. By the time I finally get in, everyone decides “Let’s call it a night.” and I’m left alone with PuGs who do even worse than the last server I was in. Now repeat three days in a row.
No. I’m done. No amount of reward, no entertainment value the boss has, no feeling of satisfaction is worth wasting three days of my time wrestling with the world’s worst overflow system. I generally like GW2. But I hate standing around, waiting to have fun, and then never actually having any fun.
“The holy trinity is bad. You spend too much time waiting to have fun instead of having it.” Well…yes, you do have to wait to find a healer or a tank…but eventually you do end up finding one and you can get on with life. In this situation, I have to wait, and it ends up not even happening, so I just waited for nothing.
I boycott Tequatl. If anyone needs me I’ll be wrecking stuff in sPvP or CoF.
you wanted harder content, you got harder content. they made this for few big guilds on teamspeak out there. now you know how the rest of the people who join with random149 `weekend`players feel about this. no achievement for you, and 80 copper for every failed atempt. cool huh?
btw i bet if you were out there with your friends, and you ve beaten tequatl, you would be now like `thank you anet thank you, best content ever!!!!!!! i have no idea what you people are saying?!!? this content is cool!!!` ya ya i know its cool, cuz you got your rewards and achievements huh? try to fail for 3 days and then say its cool
cant se it either. have no idea when tequatl is attacking which is not very cool. have to wait and be there waiting for him to attack :/ sry to say this, but i think this game has more bugs then ever since last patch. new content every 2 weeks really hurt this game.

I have succesfuly done it 2 times. And I love it. Will do it everyday if possible. I like challenging content that takes some preparation. And if you think it through , Taco isnt that hard as some people say. Keep up good work anet! ( just fix this overflow stuff )
now honestly ask yourself pls: would i say the same thing if i havent succesfully done it 2 times? would i say i love this content where i actually try so hard to win it but i see like 20 afkers and 30 dead ppl all the time and other 30 not having a clue what to do all the time?
i would like to ask developers to make such events ONLY for ppl who want it and not for casual players. you made few guilds on ts happy and thousands of other ppl unhappy. next time pls make it a guild mission without achievements but with a huge rewards. i want all ppl to be happy. not only ppl in big guilds on teamspeak. thank you.
which is kinda stupid isnt it? i mean achievement is right there, southsun survival minigame is right there, but you just cant complete it.

no its not entirely doable (and this is someone who has 10k+ ap speaking). its incredibely boring (this game is for counter strike campers not for mmo players) i played 17 matches and i have only 580 points this means i earned around 35 points per match which is average rating (i was somewhere in the middle of scoreboard almost all the time and i saw someone to earn more than 70-80 points very rarely). so average players must play around 72 matches of some mini game that they dont like yea cool. now tell me again its COMPLETELY doable. even if you earned 100 points per match it would be 25 matches to get that achievement which is still quite a lot to play. But i still would like to thank anet to not making achievement like `win southsun survival` i would brake my pc im sure about that.
Ya thanks alot arenanet, you totally ruined the competive aspect of achievment points, been doing every daily and fighting for the other achievments aswell for quite many weeks now to climb the ranks and now i get pushed back 400ranks (from 34 to 47 on my server).
Altough i dont think HoM shouldn’t give any points just the titles i can accept a few points but 500points is just way to much for something that isn’t even in the game.And no im not mad because you guys get gold and other bonuses, im mad because it now feel kinda pointless to try and catch up 500 points on the leaderboards.
i think somebody tries to sell more gw1 copies. this smells. changes like these shouldnt be made.
We are not hated for our damage so much as the fact we can mangage our abilities to control the fight.
I have other lvl80s that are ok to play..but in WvW give me my thief.
Just the sheer enjoyment of Steal>CnD> BackStab…insert other dmg..dropping a foe in the middle of a hostile supply camp & escaping is more rewarding than zerging on my other 80s.
But..steal must work right..no blade of grass to trip my *teleport up.
No revealed defuff..it’s been 5 seconds +…hmmm, why can’t I restealth. Dang..it still blew my cool downs on my skills..dodge>dodge>..hope for evades..I’v had friends over at my house watching me do the “thief” thing.
The most common comment is about how finicky some of my skills can be.
The second is “Dude…they need to just AOE instead running around doing nuthin”Within the next month they get a thief to 80..call me and say..“This is to much work, I’m gonna run my (insert) and run with the zerg.”
As a thief we don’t fight our enemies battles..we choose to be patient and strike at a time of our choosing even if it’s just do distract the zerg to give our guys time to deploy.
Players get mad if you give them the slip..understandably..even though they didn’t die ..no meat taste sweeter than roasted thief..except maybe messmer kabobs (imho).
If a stealth “fix” came into effect would Anet..buff another area or two of thief abilities.
ie:
One minute revealed..but we get a BackStab buff of huge damage or BackStab ANYTIME we are behind an enemy.Or more teleports tied into attacks..to steal a trick of messmers your enemies also drop target..
Or true Permenant stealth..on till you attack..no “tricks or skill combos”..lazy mode stealth..man that would be nice.
