SBI commanders, and potentially other commanders. Heads up on the spies and saboteurs. I just caught a player (Rize Star from [DD]) taking a golem from the garrison, walking to the vista and dropping to the right onto the rocks. Once he did huge damage to the golem, he went into the water, swam to the kraits and ejected. I know SOS complained last week about people sabotaging them, and we had issues the week before. Keep eyes everywhere, poor sportsman running wild.

It isn’t fair, but hey war isn’t fair, but maybe now you’ll understand why the hell we are all so kitten confused on JQ that we get double teamed all the kitten time.

SBI must have a pretty darn good PR machine to keep them so squeaky clean reputation wise cus I rarely if ever see people attack them when they are open. If, god forbid, we leave our flank open for a second its attacked immediately by whomever is hungry.

Probably the reason we are so jaded. Countless times I see us push into SBI lands only for you guys to attack our flank instead of attacking SBI elsewhere. But, whenever SBI attacks us you join in on the party.

Last night we had to try and defend you guys attacking dawn over and over while sbi attacked our bay over and over. Obviously we would lose one. Funny thing is the entire time SBI was rampaging over all of your territory.

First and last wvwvw post I’ll ever make cus in about a few seconds I’ll be called a whiner or a brat. Personally I don’t care. Just pointing out the obvious that you guys clearly cannot see.

I can offer the most sincerest congratulations to those over at Sea of Sorrows.

You were the most dedicated and hungry server I’ve ever seen step into any tier and consistently fight tooth and nail without any show boating. You smashed the usual trash talkers on the forums within one or two days, and the end result was a group of players that has gained the respect of many many in our community.
It was an honor to fight you this week, and fight is the correct term. What happened this week can only be described as a grab your buddy it’s going down in 5 sort of street brawl the likes of which hasn’t been seen in T-1 for a good long while. Last night, when it was logically impossible for anyone to win but SOS, you guys could have showboated, trolled, or left, but you didn’t. You instead engaged us on the SOS borderland in one of the most fun and Lord of the Rings esque fights that will be remembered by all involved for years to come. I tried to capture some screenshots of that red wave of doom coming over the hill to attack the bay, but couldn’t find a lull in the fighting, or an end to the SOS dying and respawning just to jump into battle again. That’s what this game is all about… not the whining and accusations of 2v1…just gods penguin fighting.

Anyway, congrats SOS, hope to see you for a while now, hope you calm down with the insane numbers, and hope you stop taking away our toys 3 minutes after final upgrade completes.

Please keep us updated on the charity event. That was still a very classy move, and doubled respect points which you can redeem for some legendary armor later.

anyone involved in the HUGE picture perfect battle that’s been raging for the past 3 hours on SOS BL, can you agree that this is what WVW is all about? HOW fun was that? The back and forth, the last minute save on garrison by SBI 10 times!, the “how many attacking bay? oh kitty all of them!”.

Why can’t people understand by now that 2 on 1 fighting will happen often with a 3 team fight.

And THIS is why SOS belongs in T-1. They understand it’s not 2v1, it’s word vs world vs world. Everyone wants everyone dead, everyone wants to win, cut throats, cut losses and fight again.

Did FoE just jump over to SOS? is this the 3d big server they hopped to?

I’m getting frustrated seeing the score for JQ and even SBI. Why are we losing bad to these newcomers to T1. This feels worse then HOD. JQ and SBI need to step it up a bit.

Because SOS brought their A+ game, hundreds of wvwers, pvpers, pveers, and npc. They were hungry, and they ate. Toss in the new gear events, new zone event, Thanksgiving, and you have a recipe for success.
They also look pretty good in red.

yeah spawn camping JQ on EB while the other maps are lacking in SoS numbers is not so cool.

Believe it or not SoS is still lacking the numbers, SBI are everywhere and JQ are nowhere. How JQ are still so close to SBI is beyond me, maybe they have a strong EU presence? do they?

With the exception of 2-3 SOS guys earlier on…I’ve not seen ANY chest thumping from these guys. If we lose to them, it’s a honorable loss and we shake hands and line up to fight again. BG guys still complaining on this thread, please focus on your tier. You had 3 weeks in T-1 to fight and win and you are now in T-2. There is NO excuse, no reason, and no imaginary alliance to get you out of T-1…you just weren’t ready. Let it go, enjoy the fights there and move on please.

Get the feeling now he’s just doing this to try and stick it to SOS by getting them called on spying or something.

I would recommend all of SBI blocking Daish, because he will become a disruption, or SBI can feel free to share information on his whereabouts so that we may get a chance to destroy him!

Let’s reach out to the EB primary guilds and get them to spam chat every 15 minutes so that anyone new to the map can follow suit. It will take some time, but we can filter it out. We’ve had other people attempt the same, and have gotten rid of them or I just don’t know they are still on our server. In any case it can be a concerted effort to get rid of said person as a whole to get him on ignore and repeat the spam of, “Do not follow this guy.” It will help if it comes from a known commander as well.

This is what Judiss and I did as soon as he appeared. We each sent some of our guild mates to other BLs and informed the other commanders we had a spy commander and to watch out for him, then whenever he issued a series of orders, we would post “DISREGARD ANY ORDERS OR COMMANDS BY DAISH3”.
Our guys caught on quick, and I saw a few WM members standing next to him shooting arrows at his toon saying “you go bad man”.

This sort of torture and warfare has for sure never been seen in T-1.. we asked for new strats and we got it…

The thing that disturbs me the most is that you knew who daish was even while he was on SoS servers. In our defense, we had him since the beginning. While I can honestlysay that we regret that you guys have him, we wont be making an effort to take him back.

I’m sorry this comes across as being harsh, but a lot of people dislike that guy. He was pretty knowledgeable about the game and had some very good ideas, but if people disagreed with him, he would just snap. Very little control.

I make it a point to research and study our opponents for any weakness weeks in advance. I am well versed in the Daish hatred from SOS, and his 3d person, so involved with himself he ignores anyone else talking.

I thought it was a joke until I checked his ‘global’. This will be the best week ever for SOS if you come to T-1, win T-1, and rid yourself of Daish. Trifecta!!!

The Forum GM removed the charity thread and asked it be left out of the WVW forums.
It’s a great idea but unless wanting this thread closed it needs to be discussed in another section. Lets keep this about the current match specifically.

I think part of the problem with WvWvW, is that Anet seem to feel it is NOT PvP related content, only PVE.
Just look at patch notes, you see two types of changes in them, non-tagged and PVP only tagged, yet the PVP changes do not apply to WvWvW.
For example:
*Grenades
*The projectile speed of all grenades has been increased by 10-15%.
*Grenade: This skill’s damage has been decreased by 10% in PvP only.

And another example:
*Thief
*Dancing Dagger: This skill’s damage has been reduced by 50%.
*Cloak and Dagger: This skill’s damage has been reduced by 33% in PvP only.

While WvWvW is treated as the red-headed step child of PVE, it is not going to improve.

Another part of the problem is Dev focus, think of it like this, 1 million players take part in the PVE aspect of the game, and of those 1 million players, 1 percent take part in, and focus mainly on WvWvW.
Who, as a Dev, would you focus on making, and keeping, happy?

ABSOLUTELY right… This is the EXACT same thing that led to the ultimate demise of City of Heroes. The Devs outright said the same thing about the PVP community, who happened to make up a larger part of the game than anticipated. They sat back, crossed their arms and said we don’t care about you, and a huge exodus of PVPers left at once. While this didn’t immediately hurt the game, the ramifications were soon realized as there was nothing left and the large portion of a community were gone. November 30 will mark the end of that game, and this game is heading in the same direction if they don’t address the concerns of the wvw’ers.

Screenshot behavior, report as botting, THEN go into the Guild Wars 2 main page, go to support, file a violation report and reference the bot report from your account, so they can put the two together and get the players ID and go from there. attach screenshots to the petition.

This is a welcome to tier 1 thread for SoS. Can we please keep the bruised egos elsewhere. Whatever the reasons, they are in the lead and have put in work to get there.

With BG it was a chorus of voices boasting about their victory preemptively. Look where that got them. I don’t see SoS earning the same reputation, and certainly not on the basis of one poster who probably isn’t even part of their WvW core.

There is a sea of red to recap right now. All of us should be focused on that, not why the map ended up that way.

I don’t think we should assume who is or isn’t part of anyone’s core wvw group. It would be presumptive to do so. If you’re available to recap the zone, head there and begin as we have a long way to get there.

I was just bringing up that the same thing came from BG. For the most part, after killing us, SOS guys /salute or /bow, which show some extreme respect ( this is a good thing elterzzz ). Most of us return the favor. Was just saying, to the one kid, don’t faceroll us just yet. If you win, I’ll be elated and ask for a T-Shirt from the dream team.

well, this is normal considering there was a huge event going on right now. A huge chest full of rares and exotics. in my zerg alone 9 people got precursors so that’s where all sbi and jq were. SOS are dedicated that’s for sure, to miss out on free loot.

Atm in JQ borderlands we have a player building rams on the supply camp ruining our supplies on purpose and yesterday we had another player jumping off hills with an omega golem on SoS border, killing our golems.

Just trying to mention that portal bombing doesn’t seem like such a dirty tactic to me when that happends.

Same thing happened to SBI last week, only they used 30 arrow carts in the skrit farming area. I have an idea who it is, but no solid proof…

So JQ commanders. Here are two confirmed incidents involving some thiefs on your servers getting into the Sunnyhill base while it is secured. The guy in my pic, Myself and 3 others watched him attempt another entry via the rear entrance after the pic/post. Same guy, same situation. Please address this as best you can with your players.

SBI commanders, keep watch for our guys doing this if its happening on our side and squash it. We don’t need dishonor among the ranks of the top 3 servers. Thanks guys for working with us all on this.

I’m happy to see the SOS guys using their puppy heads. They aren’t mindless attack bots. They are going after whoever is weakest, and going after them hard. They were spawn camping us last night in JQ BL to the point they were losing camps for it, and for that, I no longer like you…but I do respect the tactical brilliance you’re showing. Now that I don’t like you though; I will have to kill you dead. <3

can anyone identify this player and or guild? I was at sunny from the time we lost garrison and bay, to the time they attacked sunny, and it was clear. Once JQ launched their assault, our gate never fell…was ours throughout the night and mornng. As soon as we started defending the JQ attack, this guy appeared on the wall and began to attack us from behind. There is NO way he entered Sunny normally.
