It’s technically not an exploit since at that area they cannot affect or hinder the scores from there. If they leave that spot kill them. If they stand there, they cant cap the camp and are just wasting their time.

Ok. In the nature of fairness and good sportsmanship. I spoke with one of the DiE players involved in the hills hijacking of 2012. Off the record he gave me an explanation that sounds legit. I still find it highly improbable that I or the others missed this, but I assure you It’s something I will never forget and won’t miss a THIRD time.
So I issue an apology to DiE for any of this on my part, IF what you said is what you really did. As hard as it is to say, there ya go. Putting it to rest now, so I can go eat a bottle of TUMs and learn something new.

50-75% of that 30 win record is only one day matchups, 12 hour matchups and BETA tests.

DiE’s proven their loyalty after bailing on BG after getting kicked out of T-1. They immediately hopped to SOS after SOS won the first week…now they pretend they are doing the work? SOS guys should feel bitter over this.
I love how they claim 24 hour matchup scores are important. Holding on to the past. So cute. I almost pity them. Recounting the glory days.

DiE xfered from HoD to BG, due to a difference in game play and personalities and because we were invited to SoS by a known guild we decided to xfer to SoS before they hit t1, we have been here since and have used nothing but legit tactics. i would recommend we take this convo out of this thread if its going to continue to be baseless accusations thrown around.
Don’t lie. You guys weren’t in SoS before t1. I was there in PRX guild chat when the leaders and officers were talking about DiE transferring over.
but they are at the “top of the food chain”. and “best guild”. lets not forget that they failed pretty miserably in t-1 the first time around and now we see why. transferring to SOS was their only option. sorry you guys are having to carry them.

DiE has played many games over the years. A problem in gaming has always been a players artless accusations as to why they are losing. People get very frustrated when they constantly lose. There are aspects to this game that some of you will never figure out. So the thing is, when you get beat consistently by the same people, and you cant figure out how they are doing it, you claim hax0rs.
The reason why DiE has been at the top of the food chain for so long, is when we get beat, we strive harder to succeed. We do our best to figure out the reason behind our loss. In most cases, it doesnt take long to figure it out and employ a tactic as our own.
Do some more research. Instead of doing the QQ on the forums, try and do some Pew Pew in game!

6 of us camped that body. the player NEVER revived. just vanished then a port appeared next to her. AFTER we saw a random DiE player flying through the air. twice they were able to cap the hills while all gates were up and people were inside the base watching for them.

Why would SOS let SBI take all of JQ stuff, then SOS took our stuff from SBI.
Why wouldnt SOS just take our stuff in the first place and cut the middle man out.
If SOS>SBi>JQ at that timeframe in the match. Why wouldnt SOS just take JQ stuff in the first place since they are the weaker of the three at that Timezone in the match.
And by leting SBI take JQ stuff in the first place. You are letting them get the point click.
If that is the grand Stategy of SOS…….then I have no idea how are they in T1.
you can spend 15 minutes beating on a reinforced door, or 1 minute beating a regular gate. how are you in T-1 again?

before the patch i could see enemies. now im not able to see mobs until after I die. I charged 3 JQ a few minutes ago. Died instantly, THEN 20 more rendered. not unstealthed or ported in. they just appeared.

you know there is more than one way to get there right? you dont have to just go across the bridge. you can also set up a counter treb on the vista at the camp… OR set up a counter treb on the hill facing the hills.

My guess is those teams from SBI and SoS seen that swords were initially going up in hardcore areas so they probably spent time just running upgrades on their with holdings and figured if the other server is hitting you from the other side, it’d be easy pickins to hit the same target.
True, but the logic of such actions makes no sense. SoS has won the last several weeks, SoS has a decent lead and by all experience has the ability to keep it. SBI has to make a choice, try to win or try to play for 2nd. If SoS owns SM and starts attacking the 3rd place team, it would seem more tactically logical, at least to me, to use that chance to attack SoS, especially SM.
Yeah SBI may gain new points, but SOS will gain just as much or more. I call it the HoD syndrome. A server starts to become perceived as unbeatable, so the other 2 servers develop a defeatist attitude where they figure their only choice is to attack each other and play for 2nd. This only serves to facilitate the image of the top server being unbeatable.
SoS knows this and knows it well.
You have how wvw works ALL wrong. Quick naked scenario:
SOS has 100 players
SBI has 70 players
JQ has 40 players
You say that SBI should attack SOS. who will JQ attack? they will attack SBI. so now SBI will have do fight 140 players and will get crushed. Now once SBI is crushed. SOS will attack JQs 40 players and easily crush them. Now SOS owns all the points and the entire map.
RIGHT now, as I type this. JQ is on their borderland trebbing the bay which is owned by SBI. While they do this, SOS is taking everything to the east. Why would SBI ignore JQ to attack SOS, when JQ will come right behind them to attack? This is a weekly thing. JQ ignoring anything and everything to come after SBI. It’s fine, no complaints. Just dont get upset when we fight back.
What would make MOST sense is for JQ to ignore SBI and attack SOS. As it is, JQ has MINIMAL coverage, so they are an easy target when they buck up and push on SBI.
It’s nothing personal…it’s strategy. Try leading your team against SOS instead of SBI.

Most people i play with didn’t play much tonight cause the lag was horrible. Pretty much like SM lords room everywhere on the map. Just another reason that will keep people from playing WvW for awhile.
Our guys are complaining about this also.. Im getting lagged anytime I get near a zerg. I think this is directly related to the new culling change. Please stop by the thread posted by Habib about the culling change and express your dislike of this.

I really hope SOS and SBI are proud of avoiding each other and just hitting us. Not ONE orange cross is on the map unless its on the JQ side. As I type this we just lost our keep AGAIN. A top tier server spawn camped in Eternal Battlegrounds. Even when we got it back SOS just takes it.
Yeah Yeah “double team is a strategy” can shove it. This is extreme double team when both sides only fight each other in JQ keep!
please come to sbi borderland. and sos bl. and jq borderland. you can witness some epic gamechanging fights between sos and sbi. don’t blame us because jq doesnt have anyone online today.
