any post of exploits are removed as they violate the TOS and EULA. There is no place to post those without repercussions. Any video showing alleged hacks and exploits are to be reported to arenanet and not posted in the forums for people to see. This might encourage others to follow the bad behavior.

It keeps all of us from being infracted/suspended as over 2 pages of posts were removed this morning. This thread will alleviate that sort of overmodding the score thread by allowing us to discuss anything, since we are following official protocol as directed by Arenanet policies.

After reviewing the official rules carefully, I am opening a separate thread for the T-1 matchup where we can discuss anything and not be limited to ONLY discussing scores. Lets keep the other thread for scores only, and this one to discuss the weeks matchup, funny stories, friendly jabs, and ANYTHING we wish to post or discuss related to this weeks match as the title allows us a great amount of leeway…as following the official rules and guidelines, and cannot be infracted.

Keep it clean, civil, and on topic

When we kill a mes or thief inside a base, we camp his body till he releases or inactive logs. Leaving a mes inside a base unattended is asking for trouble. If you are inside a tower and someone outside starts rezzing a mes… wait till hes rezzed and kill him again.

So in my opinion, it’s not an exploit. Use your head and don’t leave a body behind for situations like this.

This is kinda disingenuous. If there was a banking bug that allowed you to enter a code and transfer money from someone elses account to your own, this would be like blaming the bank for your crime because they “allowed” it to happen.

I posted a pic of him and you have his global name now. I had to block him ingame because he likes to stalk and harass me to the point i’m scared for my safety. He follows me from zone to zone sending anyone near me whispers. What hes trying at with you guys concerns me but I’d be cautious. Rejecting someone ingame makes you a target for him/her.

It lasted one hour before being jerked. I was told to send any grievance I had to the email address I’ve emailed 7 times now with no reply.

How about you officially clarify WHICH drop box selection we use, as NONE of them apply, and by using any of them we are officially violating the rules there also.

Id say they are just doing it for the laughs. This particular player likes to sit and entertain, so I guess he’s just wanting attention. Just look at it as a sign of envy/respect and overlook it since you only see the names when you click them.

Come on SBI, lets keep the game clean. More then a little surprised to see a couple of WM tags in this attempted wall hack.

Those pics don’t show any foul play. unless they got inside your keep right there, which I am not aware is possible. These pics show all SBI on the outside of the wall.

To me it looks like they are taking out the mortar on your fully upgraded keep…
(note where the engineer made mortar is aimed and like 10 or more all aiming in that corner where your mortar is. Plus I see you have merchants which means you have mortar upgraded on your keep.)

I would like some more info please. Those guild tags are from my guild, as well as very respected guilds on SBI, so if you could confirm if the wall was breached or not illegitimately we could proceed.

Err, that’s a known place to walljump inside the keep if you would do your research you’d figure out the guy is right not to mention you can clearly see two of them are trying to jump up on the wall, is that some unknown way of killing mortars by attempting to jump up on the wall in the corner there?

sometimes when we’re taking a tower, I’ll get impatient or mad and start jumping up and down to show them how angry/serious I am…

just had 2 guys try to sabotage us on SBI. They dropped an alpha golem plan in our east tower, drained 40 supplies from the tower on it while the tower was upgrading, and waited for the next yak. we saw them and rush built it and waypointed it to the start area and hid it. So their plan failed and we got a free golem.

Scenario time:

Red Team player is running near the water, Green Team player sees Red Team player and engages combat. Blue Team player is JUST out of range of both, but stops to watch. Red Team player has Green Team player to 75% life….what would YOU do if you were Green Team player?

It’s random drops mostly. If you participate you get a shot at some loot.

you get a better chance for loot bag + BOH with [F] finisher. almost double the chance. Otherwise it follows standard lootbag drop.

The post was removed by the Forum Moderator as was every post related to it with inflammatory text. Please let it die and move on and fight hard, catching any future allegations of misconduct with screenshots or fraps, then readdressing them. This goes for everyone.

So two fun incidents happened to me today. First, I saw a JQ try to sneak into our supply camp, I went after him. There was a lone SOS player just standing there, so he gave chase to the JQ also. Together we took the JQ player down and finished him…then backed off and a mexican standoff ensued. After 30 seconds of neither of us doing anything, he /wave and I /wave and he ran off. I found that extremely hilarious.

But to top that, I was running in JQ BL just now, and had to go afk fast. When I came back, I saw “Jade Qurarry Defender gestures” 4 times on my screen, and was being attacked by 4 raptors. The poor JQ guy was trying to warn me and was running in circles trying to lure them off. Finally they had me downed, and he dove in and fought them off. Unfortunately they had finished me off, so he then stood on top of me and /cry. I felt bad that he had tried to save an enemy and was worried about it…but it shows what good sports some players are.

Enough. Let’s get back on track. Tempers and emotions are high. Unless what you are typing from this point on involves scores, related information to this weeks match, or civil talk, backspace it out. Let’s end this silliness. Other servers are watching us act like 8 year old children arguing over who gets what color power ranger, when in fact the red, blue, and green rangers sucked. I hope I was mistaken, but two things happened today just cross referenced it. We got one guy cry for help in jp when anz is attacked by sos and ogrewatch sieged by jq. No one in team chat supports him, which is a glad thing, however it turned out to be cross-swrods in the beacon, and when I respawn to the keep I saw quite a few flooded into the mystic portal. After a while, seeing no one support him, this guy threatened to waste supply in the beacon to build siege. I got a screeny of him, he’s from a guild called Complex Idea Association.

I actually had an indepth discussion with this player about the actions and attitude. She was very apologetic and was just extremely frustrated as she is a pve’er and ONLY needs 500 BOH for Gift of Battle to complete her legendary. She is new to the wvw scene and was just upset that she only garnered 2 BOH in 5 hours or so of gameplay. Once I explained how saying that made the server look poorly and made people resent her, she apologized and admitted it was a mistake. Problem resolved. ")

however small the pvp(wvw) population, losing them is a death sentence for games. Look at City of Heroes. Popular MMO, the devs thumbed their noses at pvpers, pvpers left, game ends after 7 years.

There is no way you can discount the fact what he did was wrong. He used a deer transmute and fooled our legendary defender. That poor guy is out of a job now. What will he tell his children? " oh daddy lost his job because he was tricked by a guy in a deer suit"? maybe ok for a veteran guard… but not legendary…

PRX is SOS’s version of WM.

Sheldon is right. I should have waited one day and talked with Cloned first before pulling the trigger. I acted too rashly, and should have talked with them first. I made a mistake , one based on the fact of sos and sbi BOTH having incidents of sabotage, and wanted to call attention to it asap to prevent more incidents. The misunderstanding of a newer player and myself has been dealt with, Cloned, Sheldon and I have sat down and discussed it and moved on. Thanks DD guys for being so prompt and understanding

This is going to sound rude and I’m sorry for that, but I put far more equity in what someone from [DD] says than whatever you have to say.

If you wanted to bring this to their attention you should have posted it on the SBI forums. It was an issue related only to our server from a notable SBI guild.

The Jackin Kidz debacle isn’t tied to any notable SBI guild and is most likely from one of our competitors (past or present). That doesn’t mean that JQ or SoS approve of this sort of strategy – only that they may be able to help ascertain who this person really is.

No offense taken. Considering the source, I’m ok with not taking your advice and asking advice from more familiar and reputable commanders. The issue with the golems are being dealt with by us and should not be addressed by other guilds that aren’t involved. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.

Sounds like SBI has a few guys giving their server a bad name, dumping golems off the garrison vista (impressive if he was learning how to operate a golem inside the enemy garrison walls that’s a trick I’d like to know) and now this.

The golem issue was addressed in this thread previously. It was a wrongful accusation against one of our oldest and well respected guilds [DD]. “Jackin Kidz” is most likely from JQ or SoS. He’s playing on SBI to waste our keep supply on irrelevant flame rams.

The guild FotM is a PvE guild created on reddit to help players find fractals groups. People usually only represent it when they are trying to form a group, and the guild is comprised of players from every server. Still, this player likely represents another guild so if you have information on which that is, we can work with the community to purge this person from any reputable guilds.

Make sure you report such players using the ingame report function so Arenanet can deal with the individual.

just naming the popular commanders shouldn’t be a deciding factor for picking a server. Determine what you’re looking for first, zerg, turtle, defend, etc, then pick an appropriate server for that. stick it out when things get bad and work hard to make your server best before jumping ship.
