I am just gonna give a little insight on recent SoR performance which gonna get trolled anyways.

IRON is definitely a great boost of morale and numbers, those guys are great, super friendly and very nice to work with. NYS also is back from their rigorous training and back much stronger and more awesome.

However, the thing that made us much stronger than before is because our communication was so great right now. Previously communications was limited maybe due to language barrier among SEA guilds, and also maybe lack of initiative on communicate with each other.

I really hope this pattern will continue and our great and balanced three way fight will keep ensuing till the end of the time. GO TEAM!

Well, tonight we had a fun time session before coming in. We probably had about 15 people total on and went looking for the least JQ populated map and that was SoR. All 15 of us zoned in and went looking for TW fights but all we found were 15 TW bags. We saw them drop siege at one point, so since we had the camp we dropped 15 pieces of siege, one for each SF member but TW’s 15 wouldn’t push so SF’s 15 had try and take the tower. After about 15 wipes of TW around the tower our trebs finally got the wall down and those same 15 TW were in there and our 15 were once again victorious and each of us had 15 TW bags to play pacman on. Then we went up to hills to scout it and there were another 15 TW manning siege and since the SF 15 were only looking for open field fights with TW’s 15 we only stayed long enough at that and each following location long enough to realize that TW doesn’t seem to like open field fights, even when they have all 15 of them online. In the end, SF’s 15 went away with full bags and lulz.

As for any rumors to [SF] moving off of Jade Quarry, apprently i had a couple of my members go full troll yesterday and state that we were moving to BG. I’ll say well played… and thanks for those members getting me a lot of PM’s… You’re “bag of fun” is waiting on the SF forums. We are not moving from JQ and I had already announced internally to the guild and the JQ community than to go through another server transfer, I’d rather let guildies choose where they would want to go and stay in line to what their personal goals for in game are. Mine are to stay on one server, ride it out, and do whatever the hell it is that I do in this game when I play it. The thing is SoR is an opportunist player and only try to play for second (mainly due to their coverage shortage I assume). So when BG was blue and relatively weaker compare to JQ, SoR chose to double team us. Now JQ seems to be weaker compare to us. it seems SoR decide to double team JQ instead.

If no big WvWvW guild moved out of KN, what happened, then? They were a challenging opponent, then suddenly after I saw those rumors about some big W3 Guild leaving KN, KN just stopped showing up.

They fell apart after that first loss to us, realized they were not going to T1 as they had been planning to do and gave up.

It is soooo unfortunate because the matchup with KN has been great fun, we finally got some sea/oceanic servers to be more competitive with them and they all start leaving

When WM and CO left SBI, they promised to steamroll everyone on their way to number 1. Looks like settling in T-2 was not in the cards and they are moving on again. WM and CO were content in SBI until SOS beat us twice then they both jumped to Kain, which was being stacked tight. Interesting to see which T-1 server they decide to pick now. For the record. Called it … called it SO hard.

THAT’s my point. No one noticed the BG boost they picked up in the past few weeks apparently. When the switch DOES happen, which server would you rather fight? SOR, who is for the most part gracious polite and understanding of the situation, or BG who will roll into T-2 with vengeance and looking to hurt someone, with the attitude of a T-1 server. Your forums will once again be locked and heavily modded and you will be constantly hammered with the best BG has to offer. I’m a bit worried of the new and improved BG and their capabilities..

Uhhh what do you know that we don’t know? I know of one IoJ guild, and none from SBI.

COV and SBI guilds from SBI went to BG as well as a handfull of others from various guilds. We also lost a few MORD to BG during the transition. Most of the mentioned guilds/players have renamed their guilds or assimilated into established BG guilds.

Simple fact. When things got rough for SoR, we didn’t bail en mass. We learned to respect each other, especially a solid core of our commanders, and we learned a lot about the strengths and weaknesses of our various guilds and how to turn that to our advantage. There are legitimate questions and concerns about the character of the guilds that have joined us en mass, how they will fit in with our style of play, and especially will they stick it out when the going gets rough. In a nutshell, if they want our respect they are going to have to earn it.

I’ve remained unusually silent this week as I am aware of the feelings and emotions running high from each of the servers and as I respect all 3, I didn’t want to cause any undue heartache. However this post rubs me wrong in every way possible, and I feel the need to address it.
Let me start out by saying that the decision to leave SBI was NOT an easy decision for ANY guild involved. We had meetings after meetings, and discussed matters round the clock, and literally exhausted every possible scenario before coming to the conclusion of what was best for each of us and our respective guilds. The name of this game is Guild Wars 2, not server wars, and it was either transition to a new server, and keep our guilds active, or stay ‘loyal’ and lose the entire guild to attrition and burnout. Stormbluff Isle was an amazing server full of amazing people, and during our prime, we were unmatched by few. Since the decision of many well known guilds to leave SBI was universally shocking, and tantamount to the shot heard round the world, I understand the mixed feelings by many, but to say that SBI players are en mass bailers, and are going to have to work double time to earn respect from one player because we were recruited to bolster a community that we all agreed was amazing, and would enjoy playing for tremendously. I will not apologize for this, nor will any guild that transferred to another server to better themselves, or that server. Neither will I stand by and be put on trial because you are unhappy new players came to your server. We have been welcomed by the biggest and best guilds SOR has to offer, and have enjoyed ourselves getting to know your players, and playstyles, and can honestly say we have been revitalized by the friendly and helpful atmosphere shown to us so far. I understand that your bitter opinion and standoffishness does not convey the feelings of the entire server, but the continued digs at those of us that worked our collective kittens off day in and day out are uncalled for and breed a divide on us vs them mentality. SOR is a community, and we are part of it. The sooner you accept that , the sooner we can move forward to making this a place that welcomes anyone, no matter where they came from, and an unstoppable force in WVW. Please, for the sake of the community, stop treating those people that made the hardest decision of their ingame lives, as if we are second class citizens. Just because we were soldiers in another country doesn’t make us better or worse than your soldiers.

Please take your frustrations out in private messages as to keep this thread free of the drama NOT associated in T-2. You should be ashamed of yourselves for fighting like this. You are each doing a disservice to your respected servers and giving black eyes to those that are out there fighting hard to maintain a nice reputation. Stop. argue with each other in private and stop trying to one up each other in a test of strength over a keyboard.

Good luck teaching your new crew how to press 2, wait, and press 2 again. Switch to cow, press 2, etc. That’s going to go far for your crew.

I dont think we have deals with anyone, at least this didnt pass at all from our forum, so if it happened it was restricted to 2 guilds. Our guild policy is clear, red names must go down.
And its actually funny that you are crying for a situation like that, when right yesterday evening we were attacking a keep owned by SoS and while smashing the door a group of JQ attacked us, and same happened on a tower.

If server A is trying to take an undefended keep from server B, and server C sees that they can take out server A’s forces to take the keep, I don’t see any issue with that. That’s valid tactics. However, I do see an issue with server A setting up siege at a camp at one side and server B setting up siege at the other side and making no attempt to take the camp. The purpose is just to wait and kill any server C’s forces approaching the camp. That is not wvw.

I hope you clearly see the difference.

that is actually very good wvw. its called MIND GAMES. I sometimes help sos OR jq. whoever i feel needs it at the time to pull attention off my kitten. if I see a ridic amount of sos taking everything, and roll into a jq camp. Id more than likely help the jq guys there. it’s war, not tea time. BUT the scenario he posted was clearly false.

If this is true, then I think this is the lowest level SBI has stooped to. I would understand a 2v1 double team for strategic reasons. For example, when 2 servers raid a keep, and they don’t attack each other, hoping that one side would go in to take the pounding from the siege and then swoop in to claim it later. Or when 1 server focuses on another server hoping to catch up on the points.

But 2 servers setting up siege in a camp side by side, not attack each other, and waiting for the 3rd server to come in? For the spirit of wvw, I just don’t agree with that type of play. If this is true with what the original poster is saying, then I don’t think SBI deserves to be in tier2 since they are clearly not out there for wvw.

I have bounced around most of the night, and unless something was done behind my back, I call urban legend on this. The old adage “pics or it never happened” applies, since its just ONE guy crying foul. If this was a real event. there would be pics and endless threads about it. I hate to say it, but Im saddened that he would stoop to such falsehoods.

WvW used to be a fun past time with some great skirmishes. Then this stupid meta got popular with blobs of people putting EVERY boon up and running around the map like pack-man eating pills.

Maybe you want to slow the blob down using say a ‘Line of Warding’ oh dear that skills useless because the BLOB has permanent stability, not because it was skillfully activated to counteract you and you could respect that if it was the case.

How about stripping the Boons from the blob? yet again that skills useless because the blob puts ALL boons straight back up. 99% of your skills as an individual player are useless. the blob as a counter PRE-applied.

The only way to counter-act the ‘blob’ is become one. This fun? I certainly think not.

Get a Mesmer, 2 Necros, and 2 Guardians.

Congrats, you just stripped all their boons, prevented them from being reapplied, and stopped them in their tracks.

If you enemies use tactics, use tactics back. Yours in the first post I’ve seen that prefers zergs to be mindless instead of running synergy builds and buffing each other.
