Was there recently a ban wave on bots?

DandySlayer.7019

There are tons of bots in Cursed Shore still! The difference now is that they are “teleporting” to different nodes in scripted and programed manner beneath the map now. Every once in awhile they pop up at random places or their pet will so the only what to report them is when they pop up at a node and you gotta be quick about it.

I agree 100%! I don’t understand why we can’t color weapons in GW2 when in GW1 you could… But then why would you waste your time and gold on a legendary when you could get a weapon you liked and tweak its color any way you want and make it a weapon you love? I would love to change the dye on my order weapons!

Editable pet colors would be cool.

Rewrite Trahearne or go home.

I’ll be very interested to see what sort of updates they have in mind. I’m thinking the dungeons will be re-done as they mentioned a while back. It would do them well to turn Southsun Cove into an actual resort, or move the fractals portal there for it to serve as a hub so LA isn’t spammed with party requests.

You mean rewrite the story???

Does this also mean we get to see the horrible death of Diminishing Returns out in the open world? Definitely don’t mind in dungeons as I’d rather not have a lockout system. It’d be cool if a small resort/town area actually appeared there! The should just have Fractal portals in all the main cities!

More Armors

Posted by: DandySlayer.7019

DandySlayer.7019

Why quote him without including the most important aspect of the post? He said ‘skins’. No stats.

1. Those are actual weapons and armors that are the reward for the dungeon. The request is for MORE options and another reason to do the dungeons.

2. There are…what? 3 skins on the store? Once again, the request was for a bunch MORE.

3. Sorta-ish maybe? There should be MORE.

4. Mind telling me where I can get unique armor/weapons skins throughout all the cities? Because I know for a fact that they don’t exist.

6. Crafted items are exactly whatever you crafted. You cannot add an extra item to them to make the appearance change. So no, this isn’t in the game.

Thanks for the support!

Now let me clarify that my idea for number 6 was more of like when using the discovery tab in crafting you usually only use 3 out of the 4 allotted slot,s so how bout either adding new items/materials that you place in the empty slot that would actually change the look of your armor? They could add set recipes for new Gift items in the dreaded Mystic Forge that would be a fraction of what it takes to make Gifts for legendaries. You then use this gift in said empty slot and BAM you now have Clerics armor set with different skin that’s not Draconic/Emblazoned/Exalted! Add like 10-20 of these Gift items and BAM 10-20 new armor skins are available now instead of just seeing lame old Draconic/Emblazoned/Exalted!
Same could be done with weapons as well!

Rangers not being able to use rifles is what turned me off to them. After all they are RANGErs…….

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranger_%28character_class%29

Ranger != guy who uses ranged weapons only.

In any traditional fantasy setting, a Ranger is a character who is attuned to nature in some fashion, and they are commonly skilled with bows, axes, and swords. Aragorn from LOTR, for example, is a classic fantasy example of a Ranger in action.

Rangers don’t use guns.

I don’t understand how there is still confusion on this. It’s really not that obscure. “Ranger” as a class has existed in classical fantasy for decades now.

This isn’t a traditional fantasy game……. Nor is it suppose to be a traditional MMO so why can’t the RANGEr use the ranged weapon that is a rifle?

I’m thinking that they’ll do a combination of A and B….and hopefully never C. I don’t think Elementalists should have Rifles because it doesn’t fit with the archetype. If they wanna give Rangers access to Rifles, or Guardians access to Axes, that’s something i’d be more okay with.

Rangers not being able to use rifles is what turned me off to them. After all they are RANGErs…….

I really like this game, but the nickel and diming us to the cash store is the reason I don’t recommend GW2 to anyone anymore.

I still recommend it to people cause its still a good game and I’m hoping that Anet will wake up and fix this game and make it the game they told us we’d be getting in the manifesto….. (Although that would mean fixing the terrible story as well….)

I’d love to agree with you, but unfortunately, I think that ship has sailed. There’s a new captain at the helm and his name is Ca$h.

I believe Anet can mutiny and throw the Captain overboard and renew my faith in them…… POOF wakes up from the glorious dream…….

Does anyone even buy dye packs? I’m curious as to whether this strategy worked or if its just making the game that much more unappealing.

During the head start I spent about 100 or more dollars on dye packs due to my thinking that dyes are account bound affairs these are one time purchases! But some how I missed the memo on them becoming soulbound and didn’t find out till a month later when I made my 1st alt which made me furious.

Should Dyes Be Account bound ?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: DandySlayer.7019

DandySlayer.7019

This entire thing is infinitely more frustrating because in a 2010 blog post, they EXPLICITLY said dyes would be account bound. I feel like between this and the manifesto, there’s a lot of back-peddling going on and I’m not sure what to make of it. If these changes had good reasons behind them then I wouldn’t mind, but everything they do just seems like a way to make everything the player does harder…and for what?

edit: http://www.arena.net/blog/live-and-let-dye-kristen-perry-on-the-gw2-dye-system#more-3242

That blog post is the only reason I’m mad about soulbound dyes. I don’t know how I missed it but I guess this was changed during the BWEs but I did and I bombed the gem store with well over 100 dollars for dye packs believing that they were still accountbound until I found out in early October when I made my first alt…..

Even at this point 4 months into the games life I think they should make dyes accountbound. I’d love to have abyss on my thief but the only what thats happening if I get a precursor and sell it, get it via an unidentified dye or I win the lotto.

When did they bring in that Ncsoft person to help monetize the game? This past January right?

More Armors

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: DandySlayer.7019

DandySlayer.7019

Now this a list I made off the top of my head concerning this topic!
In this list I use the term skin as in NO stats attached just a cosmetic skin you slap on one time like the Krytan, Primeval, and Profane armors from the gem store!
Want stats? Run a dungeon, craft them or just keep playing and grab a random loot drop!

1.) Add unique Weapons and Armor skins to dungeons that are not available to purchase from vendors.
Give people another reason to run the dungeon and add life to dead dungeons!

2.) Add a bunch of cool skins that you can only purchase from the Gem Store that can not be obtained in game.
A better way to generate money then forcing people to buy gems to convert to gold due to a kitten Diminishing Returns system!

3.) Also throw some skins you can only obtain by exploring the world and completing maps! Like have the Tyrian Explorer Society gift you a special unique set of armor or town clothes for getting 100% Map Completion!
Give people another reason to explore other than getting free exotics and the Gift of Exploration!

4.) All those useless Karma vendors in the cities could sell unique karma armor and weapon skins not found in the world or other cities! Like 2 or 3 sets spread through out the individual cities. These skins would be race specific like cultural armor but with out the cost and not as BAMF.
Give people a reason to go back to their home cities other than going to the bank or story quests. The cities are beautiful yet so empty!!!! That is SO wrong!

5.) Also those vendors that sell white trash gear? Make them unique between the individual cities/races nothing flashy but a bit more unique to the area. Add a little bit of diversity to the cities other than cultural armor. Heck even have them sell town clothes!
Another reason to go to a city! Want some fine norn snow leopard pants? You got to go to Hoelbrak for them!

(4 and 5 go hand in hand to add a bit more diversity to the races)

6.) It’d be neat if when your crafting that we could choose different skins for our crafted gear via different mixtures of materials to allow for more diverse armors and weapons from crafters instead of the same stuff we’ve seen already!
Make crafting more than just a requirement for that legendary! Make it fun to discover new stuff!

This list is just IMHO.

Brand new. Coach me.

DandySlayer.7019

Forging an offensive infusion matters if you’ve hit the 2% lottery and have a ring that is actually useful to your character beyond the infusion slot. Most players are stuck using whatever crappy rings they’ve gotten just for the infusion if they want to progress, and no one is going to forge an infusion for such a ring.

Basically a defensive infusion slot is better than an offensive one ~80-90% of the time simply because it only costs 75 relics to progress with your crap defensive ring, but would cost 225 to progress with your crap offensive ring.

This is correct.

One Token to rule them all...

in Fractals, Dungeons & Raids

Posted by: DandySlayer.7019

DandySlayer.7019

My opinion on this topic is that a unified account bound dungeon currency system would work to keep high end content alive and fresher overall until new content becomes available. But in order for this unified token system to work one thing is critical: BALANCE BALANCE BALANCE.

All dungeon content must be re-evaluated, re-tested and balanced out properly to offer a great and exciting challenge to premades and pugs alike! This meaning that dungeons should be difficult but not to the point of impossibility yet not easy enough to speed clear it or solo it. It also means that all the known bugs and exploits are ironed out thoroughly. And even if people manage to speed clear it keep the anti-speed clearing tech in place to deter this style of play but allow them to do so if they wished but with diminshed rewards as a consequence.

And another thing to aid a unified dungeon currency system would be having dungeon vendor restrictions. That meaning that the dungeon vendor will only allow you to purchase his/her wares only once you have completed all paths of a dungeon including the story path. Once you have met that requirement the vendor will freely sell you there wares. Another thing is to ensure that the dungeon currency is only granted at the end of a dungeon run which was just implemented in game for the current token system. Also add this dungeon currency to rare random loot drops on certain mobs as well something Anet is planning to do with the current token system.

This unified dungeon currency system would also allow players who are leveling with their friends who are newer to high level content in Guild Wars 2. It would allow the older player to experience said content and still be rewarded with out it feeling like it was a chore to grind more tokens for a character that has all that dungeons gear already

And with this unified dungeon currency system and the current reward system working hand in hand this would in my opinion effectively eliminate the tiresome grind of one dungeon and one easy path only. This would encourage players to seek out different dungeons to maximize their reward gain and it would allow all the dungeons to thrive healthily.
Also this currency system would function just like other in-game currency in that it would not take up bank slots or require its own collection tab space where only a limited amount could be stored. It would just appear on the bottom of your item window just like the other currencies.

So all in all with a unified dungeon currency system you’ve accomplished:

-Dungeons that offer a fun challenge for either pre-mades and pugs.
-Giving players the option to run one single dungeon or play different dungeons.
-Having all the dungeons ran at least once by many of the player base keeping them alive and fresh longer.
-Making the grind seem less like a grind and more like fun.
-Allowing everybody to participate in the dungeon run and get rewarded equally.
-Freed up more space in players bags/boxs and bank account.
-No need for dungeon lockouts or cooldowns.

One Token to rule them all...

in Fractals, Dungeons & Raids

Posted by: DandySlayer.7019

DandySlayer.7019

The main problem we see with a universal token system, is that players will find the easiest dungeons they can do within the DR system’s influence range, and just do them over and over.
It would be like if people could use all their CoF tokens from the speed/exploit clears, and buy up Arah Dragon armor. Were that the case, the armor itself would have no real value behind it.

I was quite disappointed to see this kind of answer Robert, as that is always the same major argument against a unified dungeon currency system. Because as it stands that is already happening look at all the people wearing CoF armor now. And plenty of other paths have the same problem with this already as well.

When you look at a player and you see a full suit of dragon armor, you know that they did a certain thing to get that armor. With a universal token system, you lose that sense of knowledge of what another player has gone through to get what they have.

So with the implementation of a unified dungeon currency system we lose the sense of what a player has gone through? Which is what? Grinding? Exploiting? Speed Clearing?
I believe that a unified currency would be a great addition to the game.

What would you like to see in expansions?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: DandySlayer.7019

DandySlayer.7019

Tbh I don’t we are going have an expansion too soon due to the fact we have a ton do here in the main Tyrian Continent and a lot of stuff can be add via update patches like the Depths of Tyria and the far north. BUT ideas for expansions….

-1st expansion: After defeating the mainland dragons I’d like to go see Elona and challenge Palawa Joko and his minions. And then with this expansion I’d like to see more of the eastern part of the Tyrian continent like the majority of the Charr Homelands. This expansion could focus on the battle against Palawa and the Unification of the Charr High Leigons under the first Khan-Ur in over 250 years! Khan-Ur Brimstone anyone? lol.

-2nd expansion: With this expansion its time to set to the seas of The Unending Oceans and to the Deep Ocean to battle “Bubbles!” and get a hefty dose of underwater content! And maybe visit the unknown western island continent and deal with whatever trouble is going on over there? Another Dragon perhaps??? For this expansion they’d need to fix underwater combat a little bit…..

-3rd expansion: Its time to visit Cantha and over throw a corrupt regime and maybe discover another Dragon or 2?

As for new Playable Races:
-Tengu. This is practically a given already.
-Hylek. They’ve been one of the most co-operative out of the primitive races and with Zhaitan defeated their villages would be safe and maybe allow a union of the Hylek tribes to allow them to provide support to the united races.
-Skritt. About the same as the Hylek with the exception of also defeating Primordus so they can return home
-Largo. They’d be forced to as “Bubbles” would be pushing them to the brink of extinction.
-Dredge. After over throwing the corrupt leaders of the Moletriat and defeating Primordus they could aid the united races of Tyria as a thank you.

Those are the top 4 races up for Playability as of now.
Other races up for that and not so high up on playability IMHO are; Jotun, Ogres, Kodan, Grawl, Centaurs, and Quaggans. Maybe even the Krait and the rediscovered Forgotten????

Also play some Bioware games and make a story mode a little more like that

This is all just my opinion folks!

are knockdown mechanics excessive?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: DandySlayer.7019

DandySlayer.7019

Yes, and 3.5-4 seconds of knockdown is excessive. Pullbacks are what’s especially bad, though those can be dodged but the game needs further camera zooming so we can see what’s coming from behind.

CoF is particularly bad for this as many times I’ve been knocked down and “laying down” for like 10 seconds or so and end up dying :/
And even when I dodge they hit me mid roll…..

Nearly a month after release. Any second thoughts?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

DandySlayer.7019

Where did they say Cantha was going to be the next expansion?

It’s more or less been accepted as a fact since the tengu in the Dominion of Winds are refugees from Cantha, and killing Zhaitan will open trade with Cantha again. There’s just so much in game at the moment that already points at Cantha being next on the list that it would be terribly confusing if we suddenly go to Elona to deal with Palawa Joko.

Personally I’d rather deal with chinese nazi’s than a lich trying to run an oasis resort with undead slave labor.

Only some of the Tengu in the Dominion of Winds are Canthan Tengu as the DoW is basically all Tengu from across planet.
Last we heard from Cantha they went all xenophobic isolationist so I highly doubt they’d want to begin open trade again…
And as for Elona forget Palawa Joko there’s still kind of a a big crystal dragon in the way. Oh and we have a dragon from the north pressing further south. And then there are reports from traveling Tengu that the minions of Primordus are surfacing from within the DoW and that an asuran gate is being built to connect to Lion’s Arch.

I’d think we’d see Elona or the Deeps of the Unending Ocean before Cantha, BUT then there’s the unknown continent to the west and then to the north and east the rest of the mainland continent we are on! I think that we are staying in Tyria for quite some time and I honestly don’t think we are gunna see Cantha for a while.

I think one thing for certain is that the Tengu are being setup for becoming the next playable race.

DandySlayer.7019

Um Aba, if you think that it’s not ok to answer someone from your guild asking for help with “No thank you, I do not need those tokens” then just say “sure” instead. Why do you need to be bribed into helping your friends?

Dandyslayer, balancing dungeons to offer a great and exciting challenge to premades and pugs alike just doesn’t work. If it’s puggable then it’s boring for a guild group because it’s too easy.

The solution to that is what they have now, story is for pugs and explorable is for organised groups. If you want tokens then you need to join a guild or do dungeons with friends.

A 24 hr lockout per dungeon path is the only way that a unified system would work otherwise people will find the easiest route and farm it. It’s not possible to make every dungeon of identical difficulty without making the dungeons identical.

So basically screw pugs then right no dungeon armor for them?
Some people don’t want to join guilds and want to roll solo and do pug runs.
Lockouts wouldn’t help anything as it forcibly limits your options.
What happens if you’ve done a dungeon path but your friend/friends hasn’t and your locked out? Now you have to play via a schedule? NO THANKS this is not work but fun.

You basically segregated the community which I believed that Anet was not trying to do originally as Guild Wars 2 was a game for everybody and I believe in fairness and even playing field for everybody who paid for this game.

Yes I did, but some of the parts are useless because they’ve solved the problems of speed farming, etc. And yes, it has really degenerated to stupidity at this point, because there’s just no pleasing some people. They will keep complaining over and over and over again. This is a game for people who have at least some idea of what it is like to work for something. It can’t be all pure fun, because that type of fun only exists in games like Hello Kitty Online, or Second Life. :P You say that the unified token system will encourage players to seek out other dungeons and explore other paths, yet you don’t provide any evidence of such behavior. The moment people discovered the CoF speed run exploits, people started spamming CoF groups like there’s no tomorrow. Also, the moment people discovered the karma exploit before, they immediately took advantage of it, leading the ban hammer to come down on a rather sizable group of players. Let’s face it, people will always look for the easy way out. Your propositions and assumptions about player behavior are too Utopian and naive, sad to say. I wish you were right though. I really do, but that’s reality, and you know it.

Running around in Arah armor by constantly doing Ascalonian Catacombs is not something I will welcome. Ever.

WOW dude you fail at any kind of comprehension at all….. Time to repeat myself….

“But in order for this unified token system to work one thing is critical: BALANCE.”

I never said this system would magically work if it was haphazardly implemented. All the kinks in ALL the dungeons would need to ironed out before this system would be implemented. And with the need to complete ALL the paths in a single dungeon to purchase gear from the dungeon vendor people would experience more content overall. And who likes running the same dungeon over and over again? with this system people would be able to freely move about the dungeons aiding their friends goals and their own.

So instead of this:
Player 1: “Hey guys can you help me grind out my CoF gear for the next few days?”
Player 2: “But I want my gear from Arah….”
Player 3: “CoF doesn’t have gear I like dude”
Player 4: “I want a CoF weapon thats it.”
Player 5: “I’ll run it a couple of times but then I need to grind out HotW”

You get this:
Player 1: “Hey guys can you help me grind out my CoF gear for the next few days?”
Player 2: "I need 1 more Arah path to clear so I can get my gear from the vendor, So lets do that one then yes? "
Player 3: “Pick whatever dungeon it’s fine with me.”
Player 4: “Same here.”
Player 5: “I’m down! I have all the HotW paths cleared!”

So why run the same path over and over for diminishing rewards and being bored when you can hop around different dungeons with your buddies and racking up the dungeon currency and having fun all at the same time?

no, and no more talk of it. this will never come. especially after changing CoF, CM and making tokens drop at the end to snuff out Arah shard runs. they’re not going to re-enable farming of the easiest(or easiest to exploit) dungeons, this time to have even more practicality since it’d get you any set you want.

If you read my post then you would have noticed the BALANCE part which would be needed for this kind of unified currency system. I don’t want them to haphazardly drop this system into place as we’ve seen whats that done already to the game.

How is this any different from doing dungeons – at their current state – with your friends and guildsmen/women? How is this unique?

Did you even read my lengthy post? No I take it.

I wouldn’t like that one bit. I kinda like the uniqueness that each dungeon = specific armor offers.

What OP suggests would lead to further watering down of the game, and GW2 needs exactly the opposite. DEPTH. Diversity. Complexity.

Not free4all crap.

Edit: I do agree that the dungeons need lots of work, though. They are chaotic and not fun, not fun at all.

So yes I do agree a unified account bound dungeon currency system that would work to keep high end content alive and fresher overall until new content becomes available. But in order for this unified token system to work one thing is critical: BALANCE.

All dungeon content must be re-evaluated, re-tested and balanced out properly to offer a great and exciting challenge to premades and pugs alike! This meaning that dungeons should be difficult but not to the point of impossibility yet not easy enough to speed clear it.

That meaning that the dungeon vendor will only allow you to purchase his/her wares only once you have completed all paths of a dungeon.

It would allow the the older player to experience said content and still be rewarded with out it feeling like it was a chore to grind more tokens for a character that has all that dungeons gear already

Did they change anything with the bomb room or is it still 2 minutes, 1 shots left and right and a moronic spawn rate? If so, how OP are the other paths? I’m simply not going to deal with suicide zurging to win.

NOPE still the same. Waypoint Corpse Run is the only way to do it still.

And out right fighting them? Not possible.
And your suppose to do this stuff decked out in blue and greens? Pffft what ever Robert Hrouda was smoking while designing this dungeon I want some of it!!!

Wait, so…

You don’t run dungeons and don’t care to. Okay, that’s fine, that’s your call and that is a totally understandable one.

BUT if the system isn’t changed the way you want it to be into a way that would make you want to play dungeons, then you want everybody else to struggle as much as possible?

Not everybody is finding the dungeons super easy, so you sitting there and using the vocal minority as an excuse to try make dungeons “SUPER HARD MODE” is ridiculous. The fact you already say you are not running dungeons makes your argument even more invalid because it means you are not experiencing several of these dungeons in their harder explorable mode forms (and I assume you wouldn’t even if they implemented this change you want them to.)

Sorry, that isn’t how it works.

A universal token system would make everything convenient, yes. But it isn’t what the developers envisioned when they made these dungeons and, outside of that, don’t you think it would make no sense at all? Why on this good earth should I be able to purchase Orrian Arah armour if I don’t ever run Arah for shards? Convenience is a nice thing, but we as players are not entitled to it, so the idea of a universal token system at the end of the day is a bit nonsensical and doesn’t fix anything. It wouldn’t make dungeons live longer – actually it would kill them quicker as players slowly learn and work out which the easiest path was to run. And, since that one path could still get them tokens to buy any armour set they wanted, they’d then never ever need to run the actual dungeon.

And, as if this wasn’t generally enough, you also don’t take into account level scaling whatsoever for you “all dungeons should give me a universal token” quote.

If you’re a level 80 running AC explorable, it’s going to be a little easier than if you were

You wanted an argument why, at the end of the day, a universal token idea was bad. Well, there you go, there’s the argument that you asked for. It makes little to no sense, the mathematics denies the claim it would make dungeons live longer (it would just kill them all quicker until the only dungeon being run happens to be the one with the easiest path, which devs would then buff and the process would rinse/repeat to find the next easiest path) and doesn’t do anything but make it slightly more convenient for a few players hither and yon.

Yes was my response to many topics and people having stated that dungeons are to easy yet many people want a reduction of prices or increase in rewards so I thought heck maybe we should give them what they wanted! So if they wanted this armor because its “Prestige Armor” then lets make the dungeon as hard as possible and if anyone could get beat it then they could get like 200 tokens a run, so when they do have that full set then people would be like “WOAH you did that dungeon like 10 times and BEAT IT 10 times!” Then that armor would be truly Prestigious Armor.

And that’s how it should work if Anet wants people to feel like dungeon armor is prestige armor. BUT since this game was made to be accessible to all players of all ranges it would never be like that. Or who knows maybe they’ll add a hard mode?

If you had read my earlier posts in this thread which you didn’t obviously you would have read that they should properly BALANCE out all the dungeons to offer a reasonable challenge and yet never get to the point of being super easy. That would be the only way a unified token system would work! Now you do bring up a good point in the fact that why should someone get a dungeon armor for dungeon they have never done? Now with a unified dungeon token system and well balanced dungeons in place in order to get a dungeon armor from a certain dungeon you would have to complete each one of a dungeons paths ONCE in order for the vendor to sell you the items that dungeon gives. This would allow people to experience all dungeons in the game and allow everybody to get there choice armor or weapon set and enjoy whatever dungeon they wish to do! And once again this would allow Anet to keep the anti-speed clear tech in game with out people really feeling it. Oh and ensure that tokens are only received at the end chest only to prevent short 5-10 token runs from happening.

The whole scaling thing comes into the properly balancing out of dungeons section.

I wanted no arguments somebody else did and I stood up for what I said. I was looking for a discussion. And some dungeons are already basically dead as is :/

And I’m fine with the the way we get Ectos and Lodestones as of right now. No need to buy them.

Why don’t you explain why a universal token system wouldn’t work? Because a unified token system would make it too easy to get what you wanted SO NO but instead give us more tokens to do less runs of the same dungeon! Sounds like hypocrisy to me….
So you wanna grind the same dungeon over and over again?
Read my other posts in this thread.

universal tokens don’t work for the exact same reason people are running the easiest path for the dungeon they want already- a lot of people want to get their gear as fast as possible. with universal tokens you’d have people grinding the easiest dungeon path out of all of them, and good luck ever finding a pug for anything different.

account bound tokens at least reduce wasted storage space (though i’m still going to hope for them to be added to a collection section someday) and potentially encourage people to bring other characters into dungeons even if they don’t want that specific gear for that character.

Did you read my earlier posts at all?

I’m all for one to increase the rewards, specially the money. But making universal tokens will not incentive people to do different dungeons or paths.

And that’s what Jon told that they are doing, increasing the rewards to reduce the amount of times doing the same dungeon. And now you want them to give you all the dungeon rewards just for doing one path that you are able to beat it? Hell no, devs said those armor are a symbol of prestige. I shouldn’t be running around with CoE armor for abusing CoF exploits.

What about the people that ran it before the patch job and got there armor already? And what about people still doing it legitimately right now? So what about all those people running around with CoF armor now? Not very prestigious is it? People are already mad that people have “prestige” armor through an exploit NOW they have to deal with people putting in less time then them to get this “prestious” armor???
THATS BULL**** plain and simple.
Nothing in this game is prestious.
Got a commander tag that was a 100g? Exploited!
Got some cool prestigious dungeon armor? Exploited!

Balance the dungeons out and make a unified token system with no need to modify the current rewards or pricing and keep the anti-speed clearing tech.

@Nebilim

Why yes I do sir! But let’s check to see if I do comprehend your thinking TOGETHER!

Universal tokens is a terrible terrible idea. The people wanting this probably are the same doing arah shard farming and Cof and Just want all the armor in the fastest and easiest way. It is already bad enough now that everyone are only announcing those dungeons, places like CoE would NEVER be done with universal tokens.

I’m all for one to increase the rewards, specially the money. But making universal tokens will not incentive people to do different dungeons or paths.

All I see is you attacking the idea of a unified token system in that first paragraph.
And then nowhere do I see you approve of better rewards to DIMINISH THE GRIND.
Which in all reality won’t happen but at least with a unified dungeon token system that acts just like other currency in that it won’t take up any valuable storage space, it would give players the option to either;

A)Mindlessly grind a single dungeon to death.
or
B) Spread the grind out so it seems less like a grind and more like fun!

SO proper writing skills, do you have them?

I have no dungeon armor as of this time because;
A)I don’t care for them as I’m fine with my primeval armor skin.
B) I really don’t want to run the same dungeon over and over again.

If people want to run the same dungeon over and over again with increased rewards and the current dungeon token system I say fine do it! BUT increase the difficulty on ALL the dungeons because obviously they are far to “easy” as they are now for the elitist out there. So make all regular mobs silvers and all silver mobs champions and champion bosses legendary and up there unshakable buff to a 100% and all bosses can spawn champ mobs at will.
