There you go. I dont doubt that spirits build will be able to handle mesmer condi, though i personally would love to hear other alternative. Spirits to me just doesnt feel right, doesnt feel like i am playing ranger, but sadly we have little choice here.

Mesmer condi build is one if not the best out there for 1v1. I doubt there is any ranger build that can match it, eventhough I would love to see if there is one.

I think its about time to congratulate BG on their win and SoR on their runner up. The last matchup the three of us had together was probably one of the best wvw weeks I’ve ever been a part of because it was everyone hitting everyone and there was always a fight to be had. I can’t say this week has been all that fun though. I welcome 2v1 fights, but when the other two servers don’t really have to worry about being backdoored or defending their stuff from a server while they attack the 3rd server, it kinda removes the competition aspect and takes a bunch of the fun out of it. Though I do take it as a huge compliment that JQ has to be hit so hard all weekend and then again last night through now to keep us down.

So I tip my hat to you all, hopefully next time we fight in 6 weeks we can get a real competition going.

Compliment? It’s not a compliment, only a way to combat an obviously weak schedule for JQ. This is our way of making sure you don’t coast your way to 1st.

Just wait for the match-ups where you have to face off BG and SoR alone.

Not only does JQ get more easier weeks, they get more purely easy weeks. SoR’s only easy week, we still go up against TC.

JQ has weeks where they only have to play against SoS and Mag. No offense to those servers, but that is a total bye week, where they will get first place both weeks, with no effort.

This entire season is tainted. If JQ ends up winning (and they are likely too) It won’t be because of any skill on their part, but because whoever did WvW schedules don’t understand anything about WvW and gave JQ 10+ free points.

A stacked wvw server would only work if.. well.. guilds could get into wvw maps.

This conversation is like the pot calling the kettle black, coming from either SoR or BG.. or any server with a transfer pot, for that matter.

Its hard to have reasoning with crying kid like siegfried, well hes known as BG’s big whiner afterall. He doesnt realize that during the league it doesnt matter if we are overstacked as all three servers have Queue all over BLs for almost entire day and night.

Don’t care and don’t mind the 2 v 1, but wow BG has more QQers than SoR nowadays.

I find it funny that JQ has been blamed and victimized from something we didnt even do. The draw is Anet’s decision and its beyond our control. We getting blamed for not asking for redraw? That’s pretty much why I stopped submitting tooltip bug reports.

Every bug I submitted where the actual behavior was better than the tooltip, they adjusted the behavior down to match what the tooltip said, making the poorer value the “correct” value.

I’d bookmark this thread. There’s no reason for them to have touched the text on this tooltip. So the fact that it was changed probably means they’re at least considering nerfing it. It’d be a really odd thing to do though because the current meta (for most classes including ranger) is that power builds are better than condition builds. If anything they need to be making condition builds stronger to encourage build diversity.

Don’t know if this has been brought up before, but i would like to propose GvGFC to become a trend.

What is it?
Its basically a 1 v 1 duel contest between guilds (could start with 15 vs 15 or sorts), where loser gets eliminated and winner gets to stay and fight for another round. The winning guild is determined by which guild that has any members left from the fight.

Whats so interesting about it?
Well, its just to spice things up really, unlike normal 1 v 1, there’s also a tactics/strategy involved within guildies eg. in choosing which duelist to fight against certain opponent (some might think warrior is better against necro. etc etc).

Why do it in WvW environment, not spvp?
Same reason why we do GvG in wvw, there’s more flexibility in mixing up gears, foods, etc.

So, what do you guys think?

JQ probably has the biggest pug population, but don’t discredit the hard working guilds of JQ that managed to pull off the win. This is an extremely close matchup, anyone could have won if one day had gone just a little bit differently. I would like to see SoR get some late NA and OCX, and BG get some sea guilds, although the chances of the two servers getting any are low. All the OCX/SEA guilds in NA either hate T1 or are already in it.

Good job SoR, this is what your double teaming with JQ lead to – JQ wins. Honestly, I would rather have SoR winning than JQ, which just relies on a large number of PUGs on all maps.
