Confusion by member is meh… As their auto attack dont do as much damage. Conditioner by p/p engineer on the other hand is kitten painful and annoying, since while you are under confusion, the engineer will hurt you alot with their autoattack, due to ttheir high crit

Yep, engineer is very strong class. The confusion engineer is one of the thoughest opponents you can find. It really amazes me that people think engineer is somehow weak.

Good ranger can pull 3v1 or 2v1 fairly easily against the average wvwrs, but no, not on gc fit.

As of now, its pretty much pointless to even activate the signets since they have ridiculously long cd (esp, signet of stone and signet of the wild). It would be great if the cd could be reduced to 60s-80s instead of the current 120s.

With 2000 power, 50% chance to critical and 50% critical damage my shortbow hits for significant damage but with a high rate of fire in WvW. I can manage this with 1800 toughness.

I wouldn’t personally go back to my condition build.

Lol, I thought its about rangers disguising as foliages etc, not being invisible/stealthy? And if you are worried of rangers abusing this ability to capture estates, this can easily be fixed by making them not able to do that while in disguise.

Ranger can be perfect scout in wvw with the camouflage. Iam all up for it. I don’t care if we are under powered but imagine all the fun we can have with this skill.

1) SoR will continue to dominate NA prime time and weekends, even easier now with PRX fading into background. Nevertheless, unless SoR suddenly gets a bunch of asian/oceanic guilds, it won’t able to be the “NO.1 server”( in terms of ranking)

2)Folks from JQ will continue to brag about the server’s “NO.1 status”and
QQing about the size of SoR zerg everytime they get facerolled.

Meanwhile, common JQ folks continue to enjoy the server’s easy win by pvdooring and night- capping, and continue to feel proud about it.

3) BG has the potential of of beating JQ but somehow won’t able to achieve the goal for some unknown reasons. BG continues to be the NO.2 of T2.

I spent most of my time roaming/soloing in WvW by killing/escorting dolyaks, flipping camps alone, contesting enemies’ waypoint, killing invaders when they are alone, and avoiding big groups. And i can safely say its entirely possible (and more fun tooo!). ( I play on asian primetime at Tier 1 btw)

Necromancers as well….Though I see less solo Necromancers cause they’re amazing in zerg play.

Not long ago, I met a very good bunker engineer with dual pistol and confusion traits (they are even better than ranger underwater!). It could be another fotm as I check their forum and the build turns out to be quite popular among them.

Why does it seem like that every time BG is here, the threads turn into a 2V1 war? As a matter of fact…if you look at all the times they are here? That’s the only reasons why they lose! 2V1 (according to them)… And it’s pretty much the only time we hear that excuse on a regular basis.

Honestly? It’s getting comical at this point.

Whats really funny is that one of the JQ/SOS/SOR threads got deleted, none of the BG/JQ/SOR threads have been deleted to the best of my knowledge, and BG just came out of a 3-4 week Super thread with TC and Kain that is the envy of the civilized wvw forum world (is that an oxymoron lol?).

We tried sharing our sunshine and rainbows with you (courtesy of PiNK and friends) but you just wouldn’t have it.

Whats even funnier is that some servers actually pride themselves on whether their match up threads get deleted or not when all it takes is a couple bad apples.

What BG, TC and Kain did was worth being proud of. We kept the kitten and trolling to a minimum.

I am done waiting and complaining about ranger. I sucked it up all dry already. So far I still managed to win most of 1 v 1 (emphasis on 1 v 1, not 1 v 2 or more opponents) fight during my random encounter in WvW eventhough its not as smooth as it used to be due to emphatic bond nerf.

today I lost a 1v1 against a lvl 80 ranger, two times in a row. I met him at Eternal Battleground JP this morning. I played on my thief, and I rarely met a ranger that could beat me in 1v1 on any of my chars (2 or 3 times to be exact). Okay, fair enough. Better players than me are out there, for sure. But this guy was completely invulnerable to my attacks, like a warrior using Endure Pain or one of those Lords with invincible buff. I’ve never seen that before on this class. No block, no dodge, but 0 dmg for some seconds.

I looked up ranger traits and utilities at gw2skills.net, but I couldn’t find anything that would cause me do 0 dmg. So, what was it?

I think it’s kinda nice that this thread isn’t entirely consisted of “DB’s only winning because they nightcap and get carried by asians and their NA crew sucks” like previous WvW threads were.

It’s funny that you guys get a new experience in-game and on the forums! I can only imagine you guys destroying T4, getting excited about your new opponents, fighting hard on the battlefield, then going on the forums to read on what people are saying about the match only to see its CD and FA arguing about stuff that happened before the match.

According to mos, the rating between you guys is 13 points. DB will have to make a big push throughout the day before NA primetime when CD seems to have an advantage over them.

I won’t be heartbroken if we go back to tier 4.
I would like to see what Kaineng is really made of right now, and I have little doubt that we’ll see CD again soon. (FA not so much, but DB and CD seem to be somewhat balanced right now and probably belong in the same tier.)

Lets embrace and have fun together in Tier 4 and let FA deal with Kaineng and Mag,:D

I have a feeling that FA now has a lot more wvw population than us CD. I mean more than 50% of IoJ major guilds moved to FA? You guys are on the right track to compete in T1/T2 even!
