Off topic, and I don’t mean to rain on your parade or anything but… I saw Wildstar pre-beta, and thought it was pretty cool looking.
As beta rolled around, I found out I couldn’t play the race I liked on the faction I liked. No big deal I guess… WoW’s like that.
Then I found out it was P2P. In 2015. That killed off any desire I had to play it.

Nowadays I hear the public opinion is that it’s just… “bad.”

Take that as you will, but that’s been my experience.

It started off rough but things have changed. Head to the dungeon subforums and read up noTrigger.

Also its going f2p soon and to be totally honest.

Comparing how much content has been added with p2p in Wildstar vs how much has been added with GW2. I honestly think Id prefer to pay monthly than starve with this mediocre amount of content ( especially dungeons and challenging content * my favs* ) Oh and horrible amount of communication.

I imagine this is one of the few industries where such practices are happily encouraged by the average consumer. and I laugh. Its like going to a shady used car salesman. Except you can see a car salesmans face and atleast touch the car. No guarantees on how it will run once out of the lot though.

Bloody Vic does what she wants when she wants how she wants. She doesnt care about your blinds, or that your whole bar is stun breaks. She will just repeatedly stun you until you run out. Then she will do a dance routine on your head.

considering that the engi skill analyze https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Analyze doesnt do squat to her. I doubt it will work on B.V

There are varying levels of this thing you call skill. Arah kitten s all of my orifices. I cringe at the sight of Lupi. Actually so does a good chunk of COE. but everything before there I can handle easily.

Do I not display skill in dungeons? I might stack and use proper dps rotations I just tend to die more often than not. Am I unskilled?

Is skill, black and white? You either have it or you dont? You either no dodge solo lupi (skill) or dont (not be skilled)?

Literally worse that in fps’s were they argue using specific weapons somehow takes no skill.

But that just isn’t the case in the current state of PvE and especially in dungeons. Currently this is the easiest way of clearing dungeons and involves very little skill play.

1: Stealth through all mobs to go to boss.(Save all your long cooldowns)
2: Guardian use aegis before boss becomes active. Warrior just spam Greatsword and drop banners. 2Staff eles does Glyph of Storm Lightning swap to fire, ice bow 5-4. And boss is dead.

You don’t get hit and there is very little active play and you have literally buffed your party’s DPS significantly by doing almost nothing but spamming, it is very scripted and you can literally teach anyone who is willing to learn this type of strategy.

@ Rin. At that point one would make sure to have no more than 1 guardian per party. and well damage would be even essentially the same. Longer might duration? The point when “proper” zerker parties time blasting might stacks/ EA(PS) warrior/Ele*alone*or with thieves? No one has problems with might unless they dont do it.

Seems like a massive boon to “bads” though. Not only could they before do no dodge challenges. now they probably wouldnt even have to move during encounters.

The true problem is People have decided that you need zerker.
