I don’t get the gear check. Really? It’s just insulting elitism that serves no purpose. If you want zerker geared, say so, but leave the “Gear Check” crap out. If I wanted to do dungeons and fractals, which I have 0 interest in, I would probably be very tempted to troll these groups.

Funny enough the reason there is a gear check is because people like you exist. dw Try wearing pvt in my nonexistant gear check groups. I have ways of telling.

About the wasting time…. I/we are playing GW2 Im sure many a more successful person could say we are wasting our time. Ive spent hours wasting time looking for a duo partner when I could have just p2, gotten a full group and finished in 5 mins.

but then again without that patience I wouldnt have learned how to solo/ duo paths.

Arah p2. That’s the best to duo. I think that you and your bf will learn the most about your classes and be better players when you can do it consistently.

problem with going straight to arah is (imagine) everything else becomes mediocre.
hence why im taking my time. I got atleast another year of new and exciting dungeons at my rate

I was actually playing around with engi for cm. as it has all that is needed. Aiming and circle strafing with nades.

I eventually went with bomb kit.

Not an expert in any way but Ive found that douing dungeons really help speedwise.
cm- thief + anything except mm necro.

TA – thief/g/w + anything except mm necro.

Because that’s what bots do. Normal players do not.

ive done dungeons solo repeatedly for 10hrs+.
Ive farmed a zone for 10hrs+ Halloween was one of the latest ones.
Ive practiced repeatedly the engineer dps rotation on multiple mobs for 2hrs+ till it became muscle memory.

Its not what bots do its what above average players do.

pfft. like saying people who play the market are bots because most players dont spend all their time in the tp.

also whisper me to check if I was a bot. Ive had that happen maybe 5 times. Never replied. Didnt realise that arenanet employed players who had the authority to enforce checks on my play style for legitimacy.

also if youre whispering me asking.. probably dont have the slightest clue what a bot looks like. either go b-deep and simply report me. or leave me alone.

gw1 pvp. I remember a match it was down to me – ele vs war had just finished spiking down a mesmer and the mes fb’d the mo to death after death.

so there me and the warrior were.

went on for about 5mins till i /kneel. and he cut my head off.

It’s fine Well the thing is, i rather do some stuff that gives me 5 gold per hour, and enjoy it, than idk do stuff that give me 1 gold in 2 hours..

We are getting rewarded for enjoying the game. The problem is many seems to think rewards = enjoyment.

The thing with todays gamers is that they want stuff and they want it right now, rather than simply enjoy playing and then getting some stuff down the line.

Would it really be better if you got what you wanted at once and then had no more goal to work for? Why would you even bother staying with the game if you have already gotten everything you would want/need?

war can do i think about 6-12ish solo

Funny cuz when I first traited/geared for berserker I didnt know it was meta, or the most optimal playstyle. I was just doing what I wanted. to see if it worked.
