Simply work on your reaction time and do the content more. If you get a specific cc in an area have the counter for it (stability) or CC them before they can CC you. Amazon can sell it to you for same ingame prices because they most likely buy it at a reduced price in much larger bulk directly from arenanet and can sell to a larger population.

Seller most likely can/does not buy in a large enough bulk from arenanet(if at all) to get a discount from them to make a profit. Thus the seller has to sell for higher price to hopefully gain a profit.

If you dont understand that then you have never attempted to sell anything on ebay.

Gaile I understand as a veteran player of many an MMO over the years how it can degenerate into something unwanted however, in all of the MMOs I’ve ever played, transparency is absolutely a must, and in all of the MMOs I’ve ever played, GW2 has had the least amount of transparency.

I’m about to start STO’s Delta Rising for example. The expansion is free but they are selling ship upgrade packs. The reason I bought the pack isn’t because I needed it, it wasn’t because it was such a short time period for purchase and it wasn’t because I was forced into purchasing it by the design team, it was because of their transparency.

They did live streams for how these ships behaved in PVE. They posted weekly posts on what they were working on showing images, movies etc. They have a dev news blog that keeps people up to date, and their live streams give us answers to commonly asked questions and concerns.

That’s what should be happening here in GW2. This has literally been the only MMO in which transparency and a time table have been abscent. Every time any other title has come out with updates or new expansion level work, not only are they transparent about it, but they also have a clear time table. Part of the frustration is we’re still not hearing about things that were promised 8 months ago like the Engineer hobosacks or the Rewards Revamp, even now we’re not hearing about how those should be the next items to focus on especially since they have gone by the wayside and there isn’t a clear deadline. So people will start asking questions like, “is this game going somewhere? Why haven’t they done anything about things they already said were coming? What are they doing?”

Clearly wasnt around at the launch of STO. or season 1, 2, 3,

The problem isn’t the mobs as your title suggests it’s the combat. And this game isn’t alone. Gone are the days of cerebral combat in which you could actually use deadly traps to trick your foe. Explosives are like fireworks even mines aren’t deadly nor do they cripple and they are about the size of tiny bathroom tiles.

This game had such potential in combat early on, but then pvp balance came along and ruined PVE entirely.

God forbid you actually think while fighting anymore on these titles.

We hear all the time how these games are being dumbed down, but they aren’t being dumbed down because of the PVE players they are being dumbed down because of the PVP players who don’t want to think about strategy they just wanna spam faceroll their enemies in PVP.

The mobs aren’t the problem either. We have plenty of mobs with regen and huge hp pools and even one shot kill abilities, that’s not the issue, the issue is they nerfed Conditions, they made CC non-existant, and they made support completely useless. Also they made traps pointless for anything other than extra AOE zones.

Actually if anything in the game came under gambling laws the process would be very simple. The entire game would be rated 18+ (or whatever rating each board/region considers appropriate) and you’d have to show ID to buy a copy at all.

Even if it’s just a mini game or minor part the entire game is rated as a whole.

Baseball cards are more like minipacks, not like BL chests. You know there will be 3 of them inside, and you might get a rare but most likely a common that everyone has. Each Black Lion Chest contains 3 randomly selected items.

The first lot is always either a booster or, rarely, a booster multi-pack.( crafting booster worth 150gems) note that is worth more than one blc key(125) on double checking all but 2 boosts are worth more than the key.

The other two lots of items are selected at random from the other categories of drops.

Do the math. One should ALWAYS atleast recoup 3/4th gem value of the BL key. I would put 100% but i dont like 100% so I dropped it down to 75%.

In my opinion the best option is that a kick will require the approval of 4 party members (in a full party run) and the kicked player will have the ability to see who initiated the kick via game chat.
sometimes a player is making a mistake and get kicked for it, i think it will be nice to give him/her an address for questions, i don’t think that kickers should be able to hide behind a vail of anonymity.

If you don’t think there is enough evidence to report them for abuse, then use Other (buying you a week without them). After enough of those you’ll NEVER see them again anyway so it achieves the same goal.

So what you are saying is party abuse only happens in chat? If it happens in chat then it is “verbal abuse” if anything they should “fix” the block tool do what your “other” does instead of making a new system for it.

Hmm thats odd. I would like for you to explain how the group leader currently has any form of ownership. The use of “My Group” is grossly incorrect. A person who starts a group currently owns nothings and the group (Note not only the starter of the group i.e. 3/5) wholly at the mercy of any random 2 people who decide to hit that little check mark.

But overall dont worry. I know your type. I experienced your type in a run just after reset.
It was a glorious Saturday night and I wanted a nice and fast run put no level requirement only “experienced with path and competent with profession”. Filled up quickly. But I quickly noticed they were running in all the wrong directions. So I asked “experienced?” a few times to no avail.
Then the 5th said (this is your type) “If they arent experienced why dont you teach them instead of being an kitten” Mind you I had only repeated one word “experienced” about 5 times. Then one of the lemmings said " yeah tell us what to do"

Then I explained I spent the last 18 hours of my Saturday doing nothing but teaching newbies this dungeon. I wanted to complete it quickly so I could hop back onto my guardian to continue doing that before I went to bed.

I was then greeted with “lol you spent 18 hours in a dungeon on a saturday? you have no life” and somehow the others of the group suddenly found their keyboards and joined in the derision. but yet "*I* have to leave the instance. Because I had requirements that werent met. Because I was the kitten trying to enforce a standard. Because I was the idiot that actually started the group.

I sometimes wish I wasnt enlightened. I sometimes wish I wasnt blessed by the Holy Trinity of DPS. I wish that I could join groups and NOT GIVE A kittenING kitten ABOUT THE “GROUP” PART. But no. Lol. People use the block function? I personally use follow people and then add why I shouldnt be with them as their nickname. With block I may accidentally join their group/ dungeon run/ sexy underwear party. With follow you can tell who, why, and bail.

That being said I have had maybe 3 whispers ever from my followers list. I could probably do with cleaning out my block list from all the gold spammers I blocked. Its been atleast a year for most of the “people aka gold spammers” in my block list.

Actually on thinking about it. The request has been for “remove them from our followers list” not stop them from following us. I actually like and fully support that. When I follow someone they dont need to know I am following them. I suggest give 2 lists

1. Friends
2. Following

Damage wasnt constant during testing. Now that youve said range is a variable I can see why it changed that much then.

I think a few people are missing the point.

I think its because majority of people of who support it and are on the forums arent kittens and arent afraid to make their own groups.

If at the end of the day all the people who get kicked and hate getting kicked made their own groups and didnt kick there would be no problem. I am “not” a dungeon seller also and I fully support the proposed system. I even support the optional system where you can make yourself god or you can leave it as crap as it is now for those who enjoy it.

Ah how about adding. Leader must approve invites and/or joins. It would clear up a bit of oddities. Instead of current insta join it pops up a request where leader can see level and prof.
