Overdramatic much? We were playing warriors when they were considered free kills and had a good success rate even then. In fact, learning to play with disadvantages , using the terrain to block/hide from ranged and making optimal use of our rotations made us better players.
Those of us who kept playing warrior (and we kitten love it) were also there when we were hit hard with damage nerfs on most of our weapons and a good number of traits.
We will still be killing everyone that cant dedicate the time to learn about the class and its weaknesses. Healing signet nerf is minimal. Im more interested to see how much the active will be buffed. Im honestly looking at this as a big buff rather than a nerf.

I have played this game since day 1 and also only 1 class guess which one it is. FACTS:
1. Cleansing Ire has a cd of 7-10 seconds depending on your investment into discipline.
2. It need to have adrenaline expended, ie. the burst skill needs TO HIT.
3. It can be countered by blinds, any block, evades, as long as the skill does not hit.
4. Aside from sword and bow, cleansing ire is not very reliable on other warrior weapon sets.
Guardians with the purity trait lose a condition every 10 seconds rain or shine NO MATTER WHAT. With signet of resolve make that 2 conditions.
Rangers. Empathic bond. Again every 10 seconds, as long pet is alive (which is pretty much all the time in pvp unless it walks into multiple aoes) they lose 3 conditions. Again, no matter what.
I dont get why people complain about warriors that needs active skill usage instead of those classes that are passive?
Noone should ever criticize the chosen playstyle of others.
We dont mock you for playing pvp only, or doing dungeons or mining runs or wvw or whatever.
Why do you feel the need to insult us about how we want to play the game?
You would have to sacrifice either soloq or tpvp dailies in order not to burn out.
I recommend getting guildies or adding good players to your friend list in order to make tpvp easier.
Also, skip soloq entirely, tpvp offers better rewards and you wont burn out as fast. Soloq has become very …. stressful.
I agree that something must be done about the daily pvp achievements though, no matter what the haters say. But Anet’s silence and the handing out of infractions to people that made these kinds of threads against the dailies probably means that they are here to stay.

On clone death conditions are fine. However, overwriting clones and counting as them dying is not.
Even the devs dont know what the warriors purpose is. They keep nerfing our damage to the point that soon there will be no reason at all to go melee.
They once said that its wrong that warriors need to rely on cc to do damage. They completely forgot that line.
And that small number of people are still more than the active pvp players…
Freelancer, with the low amount of ap you get from pvp, I’d say yes, the ap leaderboards are actually pve exclusive.
Also, the issue still stands.
ap hunters do not compain about the 4 extra ap they complain about the time needed to get those 4 extra ap. Its a big difference.
Lets make it fair, every pvp player should require 4 hours in pve a day else he drops ranks from the pvp leaderboard. Sounds good right?

Any nerf to cleansing ire or/and healing signet will make warriors unviable again.

Leave healing signet as it is.
warriors only have 33% reduction to chill cripple and immobilize.
All the other buffs and runes can be used by all classes.

Eles need and deserve the buffs. However there needs to be moderation in what Anet wil increase, because eles really have the tools and flexibility to go beyond control.
Actually warriors now have a right to complain about MM necros, or to be fair multiple minion classes, ie mesmers and spirit rangers.
Hambow build was designed as counter to minion classes as you recall, and that 31% dmg nerf on hammer and the change in longbow burst has stopped that. hambow is still strong against those classes, but now it isnt a hard counter.
Meanwhile, necros are still as strong as they ever were.

You guys were warned about the skill level drop in soloq when Daily PVP achievements were introduced in the long time ago locked and buried (and possibly deleted) pvp dailies threads. You argued against us Ap hunters, so now you pay the price.
I have long stopped even caring or playing soloq. I suggest you do the same.

Warriors always have the largest player base in every mmo ever existed and will ever exist.
Nothing new, move along.
Warriors already got a pretty hefty dmg nerf on 2 weapons.
If youre gonna propose a healing nerf then either ask for the changes to be reversed, or propose a new form of sustain for a warrior melee class that has to eat all the aoes to stay in melee range.
Why Anet still allows a healing signet thread every single kitten day….
Even after all the warrior damage nerfs, you guys will never be satisfied.

The only people that were added to PVP after dec 10 patch were the AP hunters that already did pvp anyway before the dailies and are now FORCED to play 3-4 hours a day instead of 40 mins.
Now lets see what happens when the giant wintersaday gifts and the temporary merchant is removed ( and if anet is wise they will leave him), and the AP hunters are burned out.
Healing signet counter is NOT poison, though it helps.
Its BURST. Either damage burst or condition burst.
Also, people forget that all healing signet does is regeneration and a crappy active. Sure it has great hp/s but other classes healing skills have built-in evades, 2-3 seconds blocking, condition removal etc.
What is healing signet percieved worth compared to those extra added effects other classes have?
It has not brought more life to pvp.
All you got was the preexisting pvp playerbase + the top 300-400 ap hunters.
Ap hunters that btw did pvp before the new pvp dailies anyway but are now forced to spend 4 hours a day instead of 40 mins.
So, net gain zero.
I suggest you lock all skills and force the pvp players to gain skillpoints to unlock them from pve, just so they can see how it feels.

By 4 secs of complete immunity I meant having both endure pain AND berserker stance activated. Work on your reading comprehension.
And yes its 6 secs from Protect Me and 6 secs from Signet of Stone IF traited for rangers, total 12 s.
Convenient. Well, berserker stance is a stall tactic as well then.
so, sacrificing 2 utility slots with very long recharge for 4 sec complete immunity is OP?
rangers can do that for 12 secs for the same recharge if traited.

ok, but what does moa form has to do with condition immunity and its counters?
Ok, make any kind of “form” ie rampage, lich form, plaque form, tornado and death shroud not count for points either and we accept
toughness quardrupled. No, you don’t take a lot of damage and continously keeping the attacker blinded anyway
so 8 seconds immunity to conditions is as OP as lets say plaque form which for 20 secs is applying random conditions while also having Power doubled, base Toughness quadrupled, and base Vitality tripled?

They nerfed warriors in GW1 as well, stances for example. Stances used to be very strong but the feature of choosing a secondary profession and their exploit by monks nerfed them to oblivion. Other skills and types of skills that were absolutely fine to the warrior class but abused by other classes were also nerfed, without it being the warriors fault at all.
The introduction of assassins and dervishes eventually put the final nail to the coffin of warriors. Shadow form running rampant for 3 years also made the warriors obsolete in pve.
Im really hoping GW2 warriors do not go down the same road.

You want to nerf healing signet fine, suggest another form of sustain for a melee class instead. Youll only bring us back to the ice age.
Are the PVP players actually happy about this situation? Cant you see how toxic soloQ has become? How much the overall skill level has fallen?
People dont defend or camp points, they push far at start leaving the first mid battle that decides the tempo of the whole game. Afkers are still there, 4v5 still happen. It has become hotjoin. Not just that, people spend more time accusing and insulting opthers than actually playing to win.
Team Pvp will soon be destroyed as well, once more people get to try it.
How can the PVP players still defend the changes?
That may be true Qaelyn, but if Anet is doing us “favor”, shouldn’t they at least provide a response anyway? That’s all we are asking really. If they come and simply tell us"Guys, we are sorry that you are so disappointed, but the dailies are here to stay because it is good for PVP" then please, let them do so and we will both choose our respective actions.
I must admit im kinda amazed at how bad the gw2 pvp community has become.
Why are they so unwilling to understand that there is competion outside of pvp.
Like we explained in this thread, the dailies require you to be active in pve, wvw AND PVP. Most of the achievement hunters that are at a high place( me included) have been continuously on the top 1000 and even top 500 in pvp leaderboards many times, for months at a time.
We are not inexperienced and we do not require of anyone to carry us in PVP, thank you very much. But you have to admit they need to lower the daily pvp wins so we can continue doing what we do.
Noone will take your precious pvp away from you nor is it in some way sullied.
Also, for those defending the pvp leaderborads, you know how volatile and wrong they are, top 100 players with like 20 or less games played, dropping and going up a massive amount of ranke per win or loss.
Meanwhile the for AP leaderboards it takes a lot of time and effort to be in the top.
Consider that as well please.
As for me, Im really disappointed to see the devs completely ignoring this thread for a lot of days now. Achievement hunters are the ones that play the most out of your game. We love this game. PVP is the problem, fix it and you will get people playing it, do NOT force us to play it just because you cant find a solution to its many times discussed problems.
Many of the high ranked ap hunters quit the game because of this I can tell because I went up alot of ranks in the leaderboard these last few days, that shouldn’t have been possible if they were still playing. Im honestly thinking of quitting too if nothing is done.

Don’t let this thread get buried, its a real problem and feels way too much of a grind.
Can a dev please respond to this? At least the number of wins on both soloq and tpvp must be toned down.
I also spend 4 hours just in soloq yesterday to get the achievements, and for those that say its a l2p issue, just wait for it, statistically you will also get a dry run sooner of later to show you how bad the whole situation is.
