My opinion: walling Lupi is just as lame, trivializes the encounter. Nothing wrong with lame if you want to sell the path as efficient as possible.

I used to pug alot. It was a good place for me to improve my dodging and avoidance skills since certain pug actions can make bosses harder(random kiting).

Question for the people that pick Arah as their fave: Is Lupi your favorite boss fight and why?

I actually enjoy CM, stealth tactics makes it feel like I’m playing Metal Gear Solid. Role playing for the win.

I did a 4.9k on alpha with thief (post patch?) I’m sure a others can beat it.

I think most people will use

1 Guardian, 1 Thief/Engi, 1 Warrior, 2 Eles for 4 ice bows.

Of course some1 could pull out the uber safe strat of
4 Warriors 1Guard/Mes.

I actually enjoy the CoE JP exploit in the beginning. Feels so good when you squeeze yourself into that little hole ;-)

Fave: CoF p1 for nostalgia reasons. I farmed it religiously and met alot of cool people there. The path is quick and the acolyte time gate allows people to socialize.

Least Fave: Arah p4, too long, not rewarding enough.

Create Dungeon Dictator Mode where the first person to enter(you the creator) can not be kicked and you can kick anyone you want, shows up in LFG with dictator Icon.

Well its most likely going to be about leveling up new toons and how traits are acquired. Right now its almost impossible to get any useful major traits during the leveling process unless you buy from the skill merchant.

You know back in guild wars 1 during the ye good ole prophecies days, I would do Droknar’s Forge run with my W/Mo, I never got scammed, and Snickers bars were only 50 cents! Kids these days need to learn their manners and be respectful.

A two parter:

- Fix Detha at the ghost eater. For real.
- Test Detha at the ghost eater. Repeatedly.

Detha at ghost eater observations:
Usually glitches if people run into the star and “triggering” the event while there are oozes/gravelings in the room.

I have not glitched Detha in past 60runs. My methods are:

A: If you run into the room and LOS on the left side of the door and burn the oozes down.
B: Run to the right side of the map, outside the event circle and wait for the oozes to leave the room then run into the event circle.
C: If you are highly organized, Run from choler waypoint to room completely stealthed.( I have not tried this but I am sure it will work since the cause of the bug is the mobs going into the room causing detha to aggro them instead of running to the triggered event spot.)

Make it worth 5g and see what happens.

Although it is not reportable, there are alot of BHB/jealous people out there trying to be vigilantes and trying to mess with the sellers. I got kicked 2 weeks ago trying to sell, have stopped selling ever since.

How many of you guys kill the mini destroyer crablings in coe p3 for vicious claws? I know I always do because killing them is worth.

Give all trash mobs in a elite dungeon to have a chance to drop charged cores/lodestone.
Just like GW1 UW trash farming for Ectos.

I mainly play because of my RL friends. Sadly they don’t play anymore and I will probably quit the game when Destiny comes out. Now don’t get me wrong, I love this game, its just I have no one to play with atm and I am the type that loves to play with the same people all the time so we can develop complex strats so pugging just doesn’t cut it for me.

So last night I joined “coe all paths, zerker experienced”, I suggested that we do p3 first. One of the guys was like p1 first and they all proceeded to follow along. Needless to say they failed golem panel hardcore to which I made my smirk remark “this is why i wanted to do p1 last lol” anyways moments later the guy who wanted p1 first left and killed the instance, and also they were definitely not zerker.

This was a fairly hot item in the math world for a bit but it is just running out of steam lately. Your interpretation is ambiguous. The equation as written above 9/3(3) is 9. To get the result to equal 1 unambiguously it needs to be rewritten to 9/(3(3)) which would be a silly use of parentheses or 9/(3*3) or some variation.

That kinda defeats the purpose of standards. 2+2 = 4 only because we all agree on what 2 and 4 represent. Labels and decisions are only valid because we all agree to it. Trick rules that most people don’t know kinda throw a wrench in the whole system.

This situation you’re proposing kinda sounds like the GIF vs JIF pronunciation of .gif. The creator supposedly intended JIF, but everyone called it GIF, you can go around calling it a JIF but I’m just gonna think of peanut butter if you do.

Some one who doesn’t know PEMDAS does not mean he is dumb. There are people who have graduated from college that play this game and have not used PEMDAS for well over 10years. They can forget this type of stuff. Asking some1 PEMDAS is not a standard.

Anyways the point I’m trying to get at is asking some1 to do pemdas is pretty dump. There are smart people in this world that can’t do math, this game does not require math. I’m normally with you on this, but just recently I’ve had some terrible luck. The only thing I NEED them to be able to do is interact with things when asked, IE the panels at the security room in COE…I’ve had more than I’d ever thought possible screwing that up.

Still I’d just label it that myself, but I have no problem with my teammates putting whatever requirements now, it’s just frustrating when people can’t listen to simple directions.

That’s why i do p3/2/1 coe in that order, if i know my teammates are competent and are engaging in chat during p3/2, I will do 1 with them, otherwise I just tell them I’m done and leave after p2.

With my calculations +70 power gave me +2% more dps (and 2.8% in non-buffed scenarios). Not sure if it’s worth dropping legendary amount of gold for that much increase…

Hm let’s see where I can benefit with weapons:

AC: ghost/night vs night/force – 5%
CM:outlaw/force vs frailty/force – 5%
TA: Nightmare/night vs night/force -5%
SE: 5% yet again but this one super annoying to swap

That’s what I wanted but after 8months past their expected delivery date I am going to assume that when they do release them, I will yet again have too much money to know what to do with.

I make like 100g a week and I barely play dungeons now a days. I average about 1-2 dungeon tours and 1-2arah solos a week. Considering how many people can do dungeon tours now, I am sure a good amount of people are making well over 100g a week.

I consider Fractals of the Mist to be a dungeon, you should definitely try those out first. They have more interesting mechanics than the standard dungeons and they have good rewards for first timers(ascended rings and backpieces and 20slot bags)

Or should I get a perma bank contract and fill a bank tab full of ascended weapons tailored for every dungeon? First world Tyria Problems here.
My thinking is if they introduce legendary armors, I will be screwed. Since thieves have very limited weapon choices, it will be easier to manage these weapons in a bank tab. And of course weapon sets are still gonna be annoying to manage.
Sadly I can’t afford both.

for phase 3 if you run inside him, he will move to reposition himself and then stop, that is the magic melee range that prevents him from using the dome/bubble/necrid trap attack. If you wall him, you can be inside him since he can’t move backwards to reposition himself. Being inside him prevents him from using his aoe barrage attack. Innuendos intended..

Can I apply as Niche Thief mentor? And Arah mentor? I’m not sure how meta mentoring works as I don’t have a group of 3 other meta players to play with but I know meta strats/builds for warrior/thief/guardian.
